B&B OF LOVE AND FUN-33
Hello everyone. Thank you for all the reviews after last chapter. I'm happy that you still want to read this story. We have a problem to solve in our B&B, so let's just get back to business.. Hope you will like the solution...
Elsie has just finished her evening bath and she released her hair to comb them...Charles was already lying in bed and Elsie knew, that he was all ready to give her another speech about what Bill did today, which was unacceptable.
He was preparing to do that, as soon as she entered the bedroom, but she effectively interrupted another tirade, saying, that she simply has to take a bath and Charles respected that.
Elsie sighed deeply, she knew that this was something that needed to be solved tonight and she was hoping, that Charles will be cooperative. With his difficult character, she could never be sure of that.
She left the bathroom, turned off the light and climbed into bed next to Charles, she noticed, that he still had that annoyed expression on his face, but she also saw sadness in his eyes.
Her heart was aching for him...Poor Charlie...This whole situation had to take a toll on him too...
He was about to open his mouth, to start talking, when unexpectedly, Elsie stopped him in the middle of the sentence...
"Charlie...I know that you want to tell me few things, but can it wait? Can we just stay quiet for few minutes and cuddle my love?"
Charles was amazed with the request, but he could never refuse such thing coming from Elsie...
"Of course Elsie"
Elsie nestled herself into him and he put his arms around her tightly...They were rocking gently together and Elsie felt, that Charles's tensed muscles began to relax...That was exactly the effect that she wanted to achieve...She lifted her head up and touched his face with love...Running her fingers through his hair, taking his curl away from the forehead...
She kissed his nose and put her finger in his chin dimple...He kissed her finger and looked at her with pure love in his eyes...He stroked her hair so delicately...Elsie closed her eyes...
No matter how long they were married, she never had enough of his delicate touches...It was amazing, that a man such strong as Charles, with such big hands, could be so gentle and delicate...He expressed his love for her, in a way that left no doubt, of how precious she was for him...
They lied few more minutes like that and Elsie kissed his lips...She noticed, that Charles just started to warm up and she knew what that meant...But this was not a time for that...Not yet...First they needed to have a very important conversation...
"Thank you Charlie...I needed that tonight..."
"I needed that too Els...I always need that, but recently so rarely we have an opportunity to do it..."
"I know, with all the guests and all the hard work that we have...We all have hands full of work... Each of us, has a contribution in the perfect functioning of the B&B..."
"All except of one person, who is not contributing anything and only getting in the way..."
"I assume you mean Bill..."
"Of course...Today he..."
"Charlie...Sweetie...Let me stop you right there...I know, that you are dying to tell me what happened today and I would gladly listen, but we need to talk...Seriously..."
"What's the matter Elsie? Is something wrong with you? With your health maybe?"
"Calm down love...I'm all right, just exhausted..."-Elsie kissed Charles's lips again, knowing, that it will soft him a bit..."I want to talk about the situation with Bill"
"There is no situation with Bill...There is a problem with Bill...Huge problem..."
"I know...Charles...I tried to stay calm, to tolerate what is going on between you two, but this is getting impossible...You are practically at each other's throats everyday...It's getting worse and worse..."
"Elsie, it's not my fault...The man barged in here, having no contribution in this place and he thinks, that he can boss around! I will not let it! I'm the man of the house here!"
"You are sweetie, but please don't let your anger take over you...You need to try to look at this rationally. I know, that Bill has no financial contribution to this place, but be fair, he has been helping us from the beginning..."
"He has, but now? Most of the time he doesn't even have the clue what's going on here, as he spends all his days in the farm and then he comes back at night time and starting to play the smart guy...This should be done that way and this that way...I mean, come on...The man has a clue about cows and pigs and not about running a successful B&B...!"
"Charlie...Please...Stay calm...I know that Bill doesn't know much about it, but he is only trying to be helpful..."
"If he would try to be helpful, he would actually help, instead of giving advices, that no one here needs.. We all know what to do, you, me, Beryl and Katie...He is the only one to disturb...Why did Beryl have to get married? It was so perfect before..."
"Perfect for you, but not for Beryl...She married him, because she loves him...Just like I love you and in case you haven't noticed it, she is much more happy and less grumpy, since she married Bill..."
"I'm happy for her, but I cannot imagine this situation looking like that further..."
"Me too and Beryl..."
"You mean, you and Beryl talked about it?"
"Yes...We did, because your behavior starts to affect all of us...Charles, we have so much to do, so many duties everyday...We have to work together...Otherwise there will be chaos and believe me, that people will notice that, I mean the guests...Do you think, that someone will want to visit a B&B where the owners are hostile towards each other? Because I don't..."
"You are right Elsie...But Bill is not the owner...He has no right to..."
"I agree with that...He is a man and he tries to show his domination, just like you are..."
"But there can't be two bosses here. I am one!"
"Oh really Charlie? Till now, I naively thought, that the bosses are you, me and Beryl...Silly me"
"You know what I mean Elsie...We all have equal rights but...But..."
"But you are the one wearing the crown here, huh? I think that you used this argument once with me at Downton, trying to show me, that even though we are equals, you are the more important one...Oh Charlie...If I didn't love you so much, I would smack you..."-Elsie kissed Charles with love...
"Elsie...What am I suppose to do? How can we solve this?"
"Well, I believe, that we need to have a serious conversation, the four of us..We will not include Kaite, because she is not very good with confrontation and she is already stressed with this situation...Each of us, will say what we think, what is bothering us and we will try to make some compromise together..."
"You really think it will help? Wouldn't it be easier, if they just moved to the farm? And the problem would solve itself?"
"No Charlie...It would not be easier...We opened our house for Bill and I don't want Beryl to move out.. Not only because she is a great cook, but mostly, because she is our dear friend and if we suggested to her now to move out, she would feel insulted and our perfect friendship and cooperation would be ruined...We should try and if it will not work, then we can think about the solution that you mentioned.."
"I'm still not convinced that it's worth the effort...That man is stubborn as a goat!"
"That makes two of you!"
"Elsie, I'm not stubborn!"
"Right Charlie and I'm not Scottish"
"Els..."
"Charlie, I know that you are man of the house, but this time you need to let me decide...And belive me, that it's for your own good..For the good of all of us..."
"And what if I will say no?"
"Then you will leave me no choice Charlie..."
"What do you mean by that Elsie?"
"Let me show you..."
Elsie started to kiss Charles, with a growing passion, whilst her hands slid down his body, opening his pajama top and stroking his chest...Soon her lips joined her hands and she was kissing him all the way down, getting rid of his top...
"Elsie, that's not fair...You know that I can't resist, when you are doing that..."
"So does this mean that you are not resisting anymore?"
"Actually, I still am..."
"Oh, I see...Well now you really didn't give me any option..."
With that, Elsie went further down, until the moment, when her lips reached some place, causing that Charles was not able to resist anymore...
Some time later...
"Elsie...You are really a Scottish dragon, you know that?"
"Yes, I do my love...And I will use it as much as I need to..."
"You won't her any objections from me...Well, unless that my objections will be necessary, to make you repeat it, exactly the same way..."
"Which I will gladly do..."
The next morning in the kitchen...
"Well? Everything worked according to the plan Elsie?"
"Perfectly? And how about you?"
"Ideally..Just like you said it will..."
"All right...Time for another part of our plan...We have to force those roosters to cooperate.."
"Cock a doodle doo"!
Few weeks later...
"Look at that Elsie...They just came back from fishing together..."
"Recently, they spend more time with each other, than with us..."
"Should we be concerned about it?"
"I don't think so Beryl..We solved our problem, everything is the way that it should be again, plus if we want their attention, we know how to gain it, don't we?"
"We certainly do...Cheers!"
"Cheers my friend!"
