Asuna could hear the distant musical vices of creatures that were far greater than herself calling to her, she didn't know where the voices were coming from only that every time they spoke they tore and pulled her closer to them.

'Asuna!" she heard radiuses voice call to her and she focused her mind on Aincrad's protector.

She covered her ears as the beautiful alien voices entered her mind and threatened to pull her closer to them.

She felt herself being violently pulled away from the alien voices, by something familiar, something that sounded as if it had been with her since the moment that she was in her mother's womb.

"Asuna!" she heard Radius call to her and Asuna violently tore herself free from the warm sensation of human blood and the comforting feeling of a human heart beating around her.

She nearly screamed when an animalistic roar surrounded her, but she quickly regained control when she opened her eyes and found that she was being watched by a minotaur.

"Are you okay?" the minotaur says to her, his words were a strange combination of an animal grow and a human's voice.

Asuna had to repeat what the minotaur had said to her inside her mind, but when she finally understood the Ab-Human's words she nodded and demanded to see Yui so that she was sure that her daughter was safe.

She watched as the minotaur exited the tent that she was in and growled at someone outside who growled back at him.

She couldn't help but smile and laugh at the man in front of her, the minotaur, was an Ab Human who was Human but had the head of a bull and something the hooves of one.

The man's species was stronger than the average Human, but the only thing that they had in common with the average person was the upper body.

In the past she would have killed the man, cooked him, and eaten him because she didn't know that he was a part of humanity.

She knew that just like the rest of the beast-men, the minotaur that had been guarding her wouldn't care.

The man would probably ask her to eat him after he died so that he could strengthen the next generation long after he was unable to fight.

Unlike most of the refugees that they had rescued, the beast-men preferred living in the untamed areas of Aincrad.

There were a few that liked living in the polluted areas of the hive cities but those were rare and were considered by their kind.

Asuna watched when Yui ran past the beast-man before hugging her tightly, she held her daughter in her arms and as she looked past her, she noticed the grim expression that her team had.

"What's going on?" she asks her guards.

'Mam, your husband was attacked." her subordinate says to her.

Asuna felt the man's hands on her shoulders, the moment that she tried to stand up.

"Asuna control yourself, you've been asleep for five days, and both Aincrad and the alien ship are being locked down." he says to her as he tries to stop her from standing up.

She feels the man's grip loosen when she finally stops trying to stand up. "What happened to my strength?" she asks him.

'That's the thing, whatever the alien did it tore away at you, but we all saw how you were getting your strength back while you slept so we know that it isn't permanent." he answers her.

"So you're going to have to take it easy." he says to her before he signals to her team to hand her something that they were all hiding behind their backs.

"The kids from the school wrote you a getwell letter, one for each class, so if you can't sit still you can start by writing back to them." her subordinate says to her.

Asuna nearly looked at the man with anger, but when she saw that Yui was staring at her, she let go of her anger and instead focused on being a mother to her daughter.

'Before I do that, did anyone find anything new since I was asleep?' she asks her subordinate.

"Just this." he says to her before he shows her the image of what looks like the statue of an elf woman, that would have been completely naked had she not been wearing what Asuna could only call a micro bikini.

"That's one of sexy Eldar, I saw them once, and let me tell you miss they are evil just because they want to be evil." her Ratling guard says to her as he walks up to her.

"The Eldar are two kinds, the ones that wear clothes with no spikes and the ones that wear clothes with spikes." he says to her as he pints at the elongated black gloves that the statue wore.

Asuna would have thought that the gloves were the statue's hands, but she watched as Kirito pulled the gloves off the statue and revealed a pair of normal human hands.

"See what I mean, sure she's almost naked, but that's because she doesn't want to wear clothes." the ratling says to her as he points at the only other thing that the stature is wearing.

"Break shiny and they o koo coo." Sprinkles says to her as he looks at the necklace that was hanging from the statue's neck.

"What he said, those rocks of theirs are their weakness, so we just have to break them and they start to panic." the ratling finished explaining to her.

"So what's happening now?" she asks her team.

"The guilds and the Imperials are looking for anything out of the ordinary, and they are all looking into any place that either stopped communicating with everyone else or just started acting strange."

'As for the exploration teams inside of the alien ship, they were given reinforcements, because to be honest mam, everyone wants revenge." her subordinate answers her.
