Velvet Dream Prisoner for Freedom Goal

"When I was told about some punk living with me for the next year, I was gonna turn it down until I heard your name. You can imagine how shocked I was." Sojiro mentioned.

"I'm sorry for the trouble, Boss." Iruma apologized.

"Well, nothing that can be done now. Follow me, your room is upstairs as last time." Sojiro said.

The two walk up to the attic of the café where there is some stuff around though everything appears to be nit and tidy, there is even a well-made bed and a house plant at the corner next to a shelf.

"Oh, you kept the place in good shape. I should be able to clean up the rest." Iruma said.

"I figured you say that. And just like before, I'll be leaving to lock up each day and you'll be alone at night. I know you won't cause any trouble." Sojiro said.

"Yes, sir." Iruma nodded.

"Man, when you left the café to work at someplace else. I was hoping either you stay out of trouble because of your habits, or your fucking parents would finally grow a spine, but neither of those things happen." Sojiro said looking upset.

"I ended up working a lot more than needed to." Iruma mentioned.

"Well, I got the gist of your situation. You protected some woman from a man forcing himself on her, she pleaded which is something you couldn't refuse like always, he got injured, then he sued you. Right?" Sojiro said what he was told.

"Yeah, that's everything. Apparently, he knows some police forces, my parents didn't even care what happened." Iruma added.

"Shit, that's what happens when you stick your nose in a matter between two adults. But I know you better that you'd never injury anyone." Sojiro figured.

"Of course, I would never hurt anyone in my life! I couldn't even hurt someone even if I tried." Iruma stated, not that he could try.

"Unfortunately, the court didn't give a damn getting a criminal record. And now you're being forced to school here which to be honest sounds better than living in that tent you mentioned." Sojiro believed.

"It's not that bad, it's cozy and I have a warmer to keep me a little toasty during the winter." Iruma smiled.

"Trust me, I think this is a better punishment now that you'll finally be able to go to school like any normal kid should." Sojiro pointed out, hoping this would help Iruma grow a spine or two.

"Oh, and you better not say anything outside of your room. I am in the restaurant business, you know." Sojiro ordered.

"I promise not to say a word." Iruma nodded.

"Well, I know you'll definitely behave for the year for the probation. But I should warn that if you cause any trouble then you will be sent straight to juive." Sojiro warned.

"That would be bad! I did food serving and laundry duty in prison once, it was nasty… Especially with the prisoners giving me those looks like they want to kill me." Iruma gulped in fear.

"Then we better make sure that doesn't happen." Sojiro nodded.

"We'll be going to Shujin tomorrow." Sojiro said.

"Shujin? Is that another restaurant?" Iruma asked something that is not part of the subject of the matter.

"No, Shujin Academy—the school you'll be attending. Man, you're really out of the loop. We'll introduce ourselves properly to the staff there. There's rarely a place that'll accept someone with a criminal record, and you should be lucky." Sojiro stated.

"I guess I could be lucky to finally go to school after all this time." Iruma commented.

"This reminds me of the time you came to my restaurant looking for a part-time job. I had a back pain at the time and needed the extra help, you were really handy helpful though I could always tell that you wanted to eat some of the curry you were serving to the customers." Sojiro smiled.

"I couldn't help it; your curry is SO good that I wanted to eat a year supply of it!" Iruma complimented with a little drool.

"With a big appetite like yours, a supple wouldn't be enough." Sojiro chuckled.

"Anyway, your "luggage" arrived a little while ago. I brought it up here for you." Sojiro gestured to the large cardboard box.

"Thank you very much." Iruma thanked.

"I'll be downstairs until closing down. Make yourself at home." Sojiro said before walking down to the restaurant.

Iruma looks around seeing his new home being the same attic he used to live in here for a few months two years ago, this place was a total mess back then and there were a lot of garbage around making the place a little stinky too.

"Even though I'm on probation, I'm glad to have ended up here again." Iruma smiled as he sat his bag down.

"I always it was weird for a café to serve coffee and curry at once, but it turned out to be great." Iruma remembered how surprise he was when he first came to this place.

"Well, better get to cleaning." Iruma rolled up his sleeve.

Iruma starts with moping the floor to make the wooden floor a little shiny with some soap water. Then he takes care of the little trash pile, putting them all in the same trash bag while dusting the place up to get rid of any dust.

There was still plenty of time left since Iruma finished cleaning the entire room, so he decided to pick out a book from his bag revealing it to be a manga.

"Now, let see how First Love Memories show with Rin learning how to skateboard for the first time in volume two." Iruma said and sat on the chair and began reading.

Sometime have past and Sojiro came up and looked around to see the room is looking better in shape.

"Thought you cleaned the place up. Better than when I tried to clean." Sojiro complimented.

"How was the day, Boss?" Iruma asked.

"The usual. Why don't you go to bed for tonight? You don't have anything better to be doing, right?" Sojiro asked.

"Nothing I could think of." Iruma answered.

"Alright, I'm going to close up shop and get out of here myself. You can help yourself with some food in the fridge, I brought some extra ingredients, a lot knowing how much you eat. But I better not see the fridge mostly empty." Sojiro mentioned.

"Don't worry, I won't go overboard like last time." Iruma promised.

"(Somehow, I doubt it.)" Sojiro thought concerned for his fridge.

"Well, I'll be going now. See you tomorrow." Sojiro said before leaving and closing up shop.

Iruma decided to change into his pajamas and getting the bed ready for sleepy time, he lay his back on the mattress and stares up at the ceiling because there still some thoughts in his head about that night.

"Damn brat… I'll sue!"

"(Whenever something troubling happens, usually I'm never bothered by that sort of thing, but that night still holds me. Like a reminder to never forget.)" Iruma thought as he remembers that night again.

The scene shows Iruma is walking down in the street through a neighborhood while wearing a yellow hard helmet, he takes off the helmet to wipe off the sweat from his forehead.

"(I was coming home from a construction job late at night.)" Iruma thought remembered.

"Wow, those stuff were heavy to lift." Iruma groaned, cracking his neck.

But then his ear twitches a bit upon hearing something.

"Huh, it sounds like a man and a woman yelling. It's close by too." Iruma noticed and decided to go check it out.

"How dare you cross me!" A man angered.

"Stop it!" A woman cried out.

"(Whatever is happening over there sounds scary, and yet I'm getting closer to that.)" Iruma thought gulped.

That's when Iruma saw a pair, a woman trying to break free from the man being forceful onto her.

"No…!" The woman exclaimed.

"Don't give me that shit…" The man glared, sounding like he's drunk.

"Ow! P-Please, stop…!" The woman cried in pain.

"(That man is bothering that lady; I need to do something.)" Iruma thought went over to the scene.

"Tch… what a waste of time. You think you're worth causing me trouble? Huh?" The drunken man asked.

"I-I'll call the police!" The woman warned struggling.

"Heh, call them if you want! The police are my bitches. They're not gonna take you seriously." The drunken man grinned.

Just then, the sound of a police siren can be heard from afar alerting the two adults and Iruma.

"Someone called the cops, huh?" The drunken man realized, irritated of this.

"Get in the car! Incompetent fools like you just need to shut your mouth and follow where I steer this country!" The drunken man proclaimed.

"(Steer? Does he mean like driving?)" Iruma thought wondered. And the drunken man notice him.

"…What're you looking at? Get outta my face! This ain't a show. Get lost, kid." The drunken man demanded.

"Okay." Iruma said as he starts walking away.

"At least this brat obeys. See? This is all because you're so damn slow! Get in the car." The drunken man glared at the woman.

"N-No! Please! Help!" The woman called out to the boy making him stop.

"(It was then she said please, and I tried to help.)" Iruma thought recalled that moment.

(Present)

"(And now I find myself here in a big mess.)" Iruma thought sighed and decided to see if there's anything on his phone but became surprised when he saw something unexpected.

"(What the… Isn't that the app I deleted?)" Iruma thought confused and tries to delete it again.

Then Iruma starts to go to sleep with his eyes feeling very heavy with now only seeing darkness as his mind slowly shuts down.

(Unknown Location)

However, he immediately wakes to find himself inside what appears to be a very small room with blue walls.

"What the…" Iruma sat and realizes that his hands have been cuffed with chains along with wears a black and white prisoner uniform.

"But… How! I was in Leblanc and…?" Iruma confused.

He heard a chuckle and turn his head to see a pair of twins standing outside of the room, past the bars, he walks over to the door as the twins move closer to each other, and then notice his left foot being chained to an iron ball.

"Excuse me, do you know what's going on?" Iruma asked.

But the twins didn't answer as they move aside to show a man with a long nose sitting at a desk right in the middle of what appears to be a jail room.

"Trickster… Welcome to my Velvet Room." The long nose man greeted.

"(I have no idea what is happening here?)" Iruma thought freaked out.

"So, you've come to, Inmate." The twin on his right said.

"The you in reality is currently fast asleep. You are only experiencing this as a dream." The twin on his left explained.

"Dream? You mean this is a dream?" Iruma asked.

"You're in the presence of our master. Stand up straight!" The twin on his right ordered which he does.

"Welcome, I am delighted to make your acquaintance. This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. It is a room that only those who are bound by a "contract" may enter." The long nose man explained.

"(Contract? But I never signed anything!)" Iruma thought confused some more.

"I am Ignore, the Master of this place. Remember it well." Igor introduced himself.

Igor has the appearance of a bizarre old man with a long nose, pointed ears and bulging, bloodshot eyes. He wears a black suit, white gloves, white or black socks and black shoes. He appears to be quite tall when fully stood up and is almost skeletally thin.

"Huh, hello?" Iruma greeted nervously.

"I summoned you to speak of important matters. It involves your life as well." Igor said.

"Important matters? Does it involve me being in jail?" Iruma asked exclaiming.

"Be silent and listen to the master." The twin on his right smacked her baton on the bar scaring Iruma.

"Still, this is a surprise… The state of this room reflects the state of your own heart. To think a prison would appear as such. You truly are a "prisoner" of fate." Igor was intrigued.

"Well, that's the harshest way to describe my life." Iruma commented.

"In the near future, there is no mistake that ruin awaits you." Igor said.

"Ruin? What's that supposed to mean?" Iruma asked worry.

"Haha, worry not. There is a means to oppose such a fate. You must be "rehabilitated". Rehabilitated toward freedom… That is your only means to avoid ruin…" Igor assured.

"Do you have the resolve to challenge the distortion of the world?" Igor asked.

"I'm not really sure what's going on, but I promised Sakura Boss that I would avoid trouble. So, I wanna avoid the ruin!" Iruma stated.

"So, you wish to go through rehabilitation. Very well then, allow me to observe the path of your rehabilitation." Igor grinned, and the twins turn to face Iruma.

"Ah, pardon me for not introducing the others. To your right is Caroline, to your left, Justine. They serve as wardens here." Igor introduced the twins.

"Hmph, try and struggle as hard as you like." Caroline mocked.

"The duty of wardens is to protect inmates. We are also your collaborators." Justine explained.

They appear to be young girls with platinum blonde hair and yellow eyes. The twins both wear a black eye patch with the letter "V" over one of their eyes and a blue prison guard outfit. Justine has a long braid and a hat with the letters "O-Y-O-O" while Caroline has hair buns and a hat with the letters "X-M-R-N." When combined, the letters spell "OXYMORON." They wear brassards on their left arms and have matching black ties. Justine carries a clipboard while Caroline uses an electric shock baton to intimidate their inmate. Breasts size: A-cup.

"…That is, if you remain obedient." Justine added.

"Unfortunately, being obedient is part of my curse." Iruma chuckled nervously.

"I shall explain the roles of these two at another occasion. Now then, it seems the night is waning… It is almost time." Igor said.

"Almost time?" Iruma puzzled.

"Take your time to slowly come to understand this place. We will surely meet again, eventually…" Igor believed.

Ringing sounds are heard everywhere within the jail room spooking Iruma a bit.

"Time's up! Now hurry p and go back to sleep." Caroline ordered.

"Okay." Iruma nodded and went right to bed.

(Reality, April 10th, Sunday Morning)

Iruma is now seen wearing a school uniform that is consisted of a black blazer over a black-trimmed cream sweater, blue jeans and brown shoes.

"(I can't get over that weird dream I had. Ruin… Rehabilitation… Could all of those scary stuff be true?)" Iruma thought scared.

"Looks like you're up." Sojiro said, walking up to him. Now wearing a white two-button blazer and a white trilby with a red-white-and-blue striped hat band.

"Good morning, Boss." Iruma greeted.

"Better hold on to that smile when we go introduce ourselves properly to the staff about your transfer." Sojiro advised.

"Got it." Iruma nodded.

"The school you're attending is in the Aoyama district. It'll take a while to get there by train. The transfers are a real hassle too." Sojiro mentioned.

"Yeah, trains can be dangerous when you're being squeezed in." Iruma said, speaking from experience.

"I'll drive you there, but just for today. Let's go." Sojiro said.

"Men usually aren't allowed in my passenger seat, but I'm willing to make an exception for you, kid." Sojiro stated.

"How very thoughtful of you." Iruma commented.

(Shujin Academy)

After one car drive, Iruma and Sojiro arrive in front of the gate that leads them to the high school known as Shujin Academy which Iruma is being awestruck of the building that he is seeing school for the first time in years.

"Wow! So, this is a high school! It's so big and wide!" Iruma amazed.

"Normally, most kids would hate going to school complaining about how "boring" it is, but that seems to be the opposite in your case." Sojiro chuckled.

"Now be sure to behave yourself when we go meet the principal which shouldn't be too much trouble for you." Sojiro advised.

"ROLLING TIME!" A girl shouted rolling past the two like a ball and laughing along the way.

"Holy—What the fuck was that?" Sojiro asked shock.

"I don't know, a ball shouting like a girl?" Iruma confused as well.

"Well, we better go in before something else happen." Sojiro said and the two hurry themselves into the school.
