Title: Rewrite the Stars

Chapter 59

(Even though Elizabeth could be anywhere, being her vehicle is at GH, Monica and Terry truly feel Elizabeth is somewhere at GH. Why? After everything that Jason has told them)

Terry: (sighs deeply) "I know we should probably think she is elsewhere. But my instincts are telling me she is here."

Monica: "The footage of Sam and the mystery guy with the laundry cart was taken here at the hospital."

Terry: "Biz was telling me a while ago that Sam gave too many hints that Sam was going to take Biz because Biz 'took' Jason away from Sam'."

(Jason tries to think as he speaks)

Jason: "Monica, Terry, I have this nagging feeling that the kidnapper may have taken Elizabeth down to the basement sub-laboratory. But I do not know how if the elevator does not work. Monica, didn't you say it is broken and there is no stairs? When was the last time you checked the elevators to make sure they do not work?"

Monica: "My work staff told me they do not work. I tried the elevator myself, but I honestly do not remember when that was."

Jason: "Where is the elevator at so I can try them and make sure they don't work?"

(Just when Monica is about to lead him to the elevators, his cell phone rings. He looks at his Caller ID and does not recognize the number on his phone. His gut tells him to answer the call. He presses 'Talk' and puts the phone to his ear)

Jason: "Morgan."

(Jason almost does not recognize the male voice on the other end as he has not heard it in a while)

Male: "Mr. Morgan, I have someone here who would wish to speak to you."

Jason: (confused) "Cyrus?"

(All of a sudden, he hears a woman's voice on the other end. He would recognize that voice anywhere)

Woman: "Jason, are you there?"

(Jason is shocked as hell and makes sure he can hear her voice)

Jason: "Elizabeth? Is that you?"

Liz: "Yes, baby, it's me."

Jason: "Are you okay?"

Liz: "I'm fine."

Jason: "Where are you?"

Liz: "I'm in the hospital."

Jason: "Spinelli and I have looked everywhere on the cameras."

Liz: "That's because where I'm at, the cameras are not active anymore."

(The light bulb goes off for Jason. He briefly closes his eyes and shakes his head)

Jason: "You're in the basement sub-laboratory, aren't you, honey?"

Liz: "Yes, I am. My kidnapper made sure to put me somewhere where there are no cameras."

Jason: "How are you calling me? Is he or she threatening you?"

Liz: "No. He let me call you, Jason. Please come get me, Jason. I will explain everything when I see you."

Jason: "The elevators to get down there don't work, though."

Liz: "They do. They secretly got fixed."

Jason: "I'll be right there, baby."

(Jason looks at a frantic Monica, Terry, and Spinelli)

Terry: "What is going on? Was that Biz on the phone?"

Jason: (nods) "Yes. I am not 100% sure, but I think the male voice was Cyrus Renault. I have not dealt with him in a while. But Elizabeth was not scared at all. I was surprised. She told me to come get her in the basement sub-laboratory."

(Monica is shocked because she truly did not think anyone was down there due to the cameras and the elevator she believed was not working. It turned out she was deadly wrong. She just realized something)

Monica: (to Jason) "I profusely apologize as I just realized when Cyrus was briefly on the hospital committee, he must have secretly had things fixed, one was the elevator." (nods) "Jason, you need to call Dante so he can come with you and arrest Cyrus."

Jason: (scoffs) "Why in the hell should I call him when he did not believe me or trust that I knew what I was doing? No, fuck him. I have Spinelli and Sonny because they believed me. I may be wrong on this, but I do not give a shit." (to Terry) "Please show me where the elevator is that leads to the basement sub-laboratory."

Terry: (nods) "No problem."

(As Terry leads Jason to the elevator, she explains she has seen blueprints of the hospital and the basement sub-laboratory so she knows where to go. What Jason does not know is Monica privately called Dante so he can arrest the person responsible for kidnapping Elizabeth)

(After getting down to the bottom floor, Terry says the rest is up to Jason as she does not know where Biz is at. Jason thanks Terry. He tells her she can go back if she wants)

Terry: "No, I want to see for myself that my best friend is okay."

Jason: (chuckles) "I'd expect nothing less."

(Jason then goes to find Elizabeth with Terry behind him)

Jason: (shouts) "Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Where are you?!"

(As Jason continues yelling for her, Elizabeth can hear him and yells for him)

Liz: "Jason! I'm here!"

(The soon-to-be lovers see each other and embrace each other at long last. Jason takes a moment to feel her warmth before releasing her and looks her over)

Jason: "Are you okay? How are you?"

Liz: "I'm tired and a little dehydrated. Otherwise, I am okay."

(Jason faces Cyrus and his eyes darken)

Jason: "You're the bastard who kidnapped her?"

(Elizabeth knew that it was time to keep her word to Cyrus or start anyway)

Liz: "He may have done it or helped, but it was not his idea. He helped someone. He was not the mastermind behind it, Jason."

Cyrus: (nods) "She's telling the truth, Jason."

Liz: "Cyrus has actually been kind to me."

Jason: (to Cyrus) "You say it was not your idea? Whose idea was it?"

(With a straight, calm face, Cyrus speaks)

Cyrus: "Sam McCall."

(Jason shakes his head as he should not be surprised)

Jason: "It's time the bitch finally pays for what she's done to Elizabeth...at long last."

(Elizabeth blinks a few times as she was light-headed from the lack of fluids and lack of sleep. She did not realize how bad the dehydration and lack of sleep took its toll. She stumbled a bit before passing out. Jason attempted to catch her. Or at the very least, break her fall)

Jason: "Elizabeth!"
