Author's Note - Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good New Years! Before you go on and read, I just wanted to give a quick reply;

Luvsic - Thanks for the compliments and I appreciate you taking time to read my story. However, I believe that you're the one who's blowing things out of proportion. I've already hinted at things in the story and I've already responded to this with my other author notes. But in short, everything I do is for a reason and nothing is put in just because. Everything gets connected little by little. And you don't like the darker parts of the story and that's good, because that means you're a good person. But it doesn't mean that it was unnecessary or some 'cheap way to make things happen'. And don't skim things and then complain that things felt forced or its just 'teenage drama' and the main character has limited time and is injured all the time. Um, hello! It's Izuku! Of course he's gonna get injured because of OFA and how things go in the story. But that doesn't mean that he's not getting recognition, or that he won't interact with them and other things. And it's not gonna happen all the time. This was just a series of unfortunate events all happening quickly together.

Again, all I'm saying is there are reasons for everything I do and to be patient. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and if you want to discuss things more thoroughly, then send me a message as I don't want to keep other readers from the story. Thanks and take care!

Alright, with that reply done, please enjoy the next chapter!

CHAPTER 019 – NIGHT OF REFLECTIONS

Besides Izuku Midoriya and one other person, the rest of the students from classes 1A and 1B were allowed to go home after they got checkups from the EMTs that arrived at the USJ and gave their statements to the detectives. Recovery Girl, after healing everyone who could be healed at once, left to go to the hospital for the ones who were more severely injured. Before they left, they were informed that they had the rest of the week off and that they'd come back to UA on Monday. Understanding the need for that and welcoming the extra time for it, none of the students disagreed.

But many of their families and relatives were different matters as they complained about what happened and the lack of security at UA when they came to pick up the students. Nezu let them know that he was going to do a full investigation and would inform them of the results. Nezu also promised that security upgrades will be worked on and they'll be implemented immediately. Satisfied with that at the moment, they left things at that. The ones who weren't picked up by family, most were escorted home by one of the police officers as requested by Principal Nezu and Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi.

When they got home, almost all of the students felt glad to be with their family and felt better. They shared what happened to them and what they witnessed. Understandably, their family members felt multiple different things. From fear and anger to relief and gratitude that their loved ones are alright in the end. And most decided to let things go for the moment so the UA students could calm down and relax a little.

However, in multiple families and households, things didn't go so smoothly…

"I can't believe this!"

"Honey, please…"

"UA's supposed to be one of the most secure places in the nation!"

"It's not their fault and…"

"How could they just let villains invade?!"

"They'll let us know what happened."

"My precious baby was almost killed! I don't care what it was!"

"I'm angry too but this doesn't help with anything, dear."

A growl was let loose from the middle aged man and he was about to continue his frustrated rant.

"Enough already damn it!"

But then his daughter cut in and told them to stop. Both husband and wife snapped their attention onto their daughter with startled expressions and she continued. "It wasn't anyone's fault alright?! The villains planned things out and they had a warp user! We had no idea! But everything worked out thanks to the teachers, All Might and Midoriya! I'm safe and sound at home so stop being angry! Especially when he…he…"

She couldn't continue. Her breath hitched before taking in stuttering breaths as her eyes filled up with water and let loose tears. She started crying again and hunched over with her face in her hands while seated on the couch.

"Oh honey!"

"Kyoka!"

Mika and Kyotoku hurried to their daughter and hugged her from either side as they joined her on the couch. Doing their best to comfort their daughter, both parents remained silent as Kyoka cried. After sometime, Kyoka's crying lessened and she started sniffling while still in their embrace.

"Kyoka…honey…I know they told us what happened…but I bet that was a heavily summarized version. Do you want to tell us exactly what happened? It might help you feel better," suggested Mika.

About ten seconds passed before Kyoka slowly nodded her head. "It…It was supposed to be…another hero lesson…but…as…as s-soon as we g-got there and went into the central area...th-the villains appeared and…"

As Kyoka recounted what transpired earlier in detail, her mother and father paid attention to her every word. Hearing her first hand experience over what she went through caused the two to feel many different emotions whirling around inside of them. They had so many thoughts and questions as they listened but they waited until she finished telling them everything.

When Kyoka finished telling them what happened, the petite purple haired girl tightened her hug with her parents. "Mom…Dad…I couldn't…even move...in the end…I wanted to…to go help him…he was so hurt…but I couldn't move! If…if he…" she whispered to him.

"We know, sweetie…we know. And things will turn out okay. I'm sure he'll survive and come back stronger than ever," replied Mika, knowing what was on her daughter's mind.

"I hope so," whispered Kyoka as she tightened her hug while tears fell from her closed eyes. Midoriya…

It's been a while since Kyotoku too knew what was on his daughter's mind as he remained silent and merely nodded in the embrace. He and his wife shared a glance, locking eyes together. As sullen and angry as they were about what the villains did and how UA dropped the ball, they couldn't help but feel immensely happy and relieved that their daughter came home unscathed. And it was all thanks to a certain green haired young man who had helped them out before.

Communicating with each other with just their eyes alone, they both knew what the other was thinking at that moment; we owe him everything for saving our daughter's life!

Lying on his bed while staring at the ceiling, Denki Kaminari wasn't able to stop thinking about what happened earlier that day. After coming home with his family who picked him up from UA, he spent some time with them before heading into this room. As soon as he did, he changed out of his UA uniform and into some casual clothes before lying on his bed.

Images formed in his mind of everything that he went through and saw while he lay there. And then, those images slowly changed into the one who he wanted to talk to. He was happy that nothing happened to Kyoka Jirou. But he also felt something else too. He had seen how she behaved as she kept her gaze locked onto that green haired guy. And how distraught she looked when he collapsed at the end…

Jealousy rose within him and he frowned as he pictured her concerned and fear filled face with tears escaping her eyes. And it was all for that green haired guy. But why him?

Sure, he did help them all out and probably was the reason why they were able to come out of that mess…alive. But did that mean that she had to like him for that? Did that mean he had to admire and respect him for that? Did that mean he had to give up a chance with a girl he liked just because she showed interest for someone else who saved her and everyone else from the villains?

Hell no! I won't just give up! I'll figure out a way to talk to her and let her see that I'm a good choice! No, not just a good choice, but a better one!

With those thoughts swimming around in his head, Denki fell asleep and he started seeing dreams. Dreams that consisted of shocking a green haired person with his electricity every time he tried getting close to the girl he liked…

Jurota Shishida had his head hung with his gaze at his feet. His father was berating him for his lack of control while his mother remained quiet on the couch opposite him. He had told them of what happened at the USJ. Even the parts of him going insane, which were relayed to him by his peers. As happy as he was that none of his classmates suffered due to his actions, he still felt horrible that he lost control.

When his father finally finished, he sat down on the couch next to his wife. His wife glanced at him but remained silent. Taking in a deep breath, he exhaled it out. "Son, you know I still love you and I'm proud of all of your accomplishments. And I know why you let loose and that you wanted to protect your fellow classmates. But not like this. I cannot overlook this."

"I know," replied Jurota as his head hung lower. "I'm ashamed of myself. I let my rage consume me and my beastly side took control. I endangered my classmates. I don't ever want that to happen again."

"We know Jurota, but for that to happen, you'll have to do better. You must return to doing your meditation classes," said his mother and he nodded.

"In any case, you're home till Monday. As punishment, you're grounded till then. No phones, no internet and no games. And you're gonna do all the home chores every day till you go back as well as wash both cars," said his father.

"Yes, sir," replied Jurota, unable to argue about his punishment because he knew it could've been much worse. His father was fair but also strict.

"Good." Something came to mind then and after thinking for a moment, Jurota's father wanted verification on something. "By the way, this person who stopped you and went on to help save everyone, what was his name again?"

"I believe my classmates said it was Izuku Midoriya if I'm not mistaken, sir."

Something clicked in his father's head at that moment. "I see. And is this perhaps the same person that you mentioned about before? Something about being a bad person from what that other boy said?" asked his father.

Jurota nodded before stopping and looked up as something crossed his mind. "Yes, Katsuki Bakugo stated that Midoriya was a horrible person and said he knew him all his life. But after what he did for me and everyone else...now that I think about it…"

"It doesn't make sense, right?" asked his father and Jurota nodded. "Hmm…I see. I think I know what's going on here."

"You do? Please tell me because I don't understand. What's going on?" asked Jurota.

His father was about to answer when his wife raised her hand and he glanced at her. "I think I know what's going on as well. However, we're not going to tell you. You must figure this out yourself Jurota. Consider this another part of your punishment. And, you're going to both apologize and thank this Midoriya when you get the chance. Understood?" she asked him.

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good. I suggest you go to bed. It's been a long day for all of us."

"Very well. Goodnight Mother. Goodnight Father."

"Goodnight."

Togaru Kamakiri was home alone since his parents both worked long hours at their jobs and unable to come home until late at night. UA and the authorities wanted to contact them since they were his emergency contacts but he didn't let them. He said that he was fine and didn't want to call them at work for nothing. That he'd tell them when they were home later. After some convincing, they relented and agreed to his request. But they did convince him to get a ride home.

After being escorted home, he decided to not call them since he'd only be worrying them for nothing. He didn't have any horrible injuries and he was conscious. Even his twisted ankle wasn't anything too serious. That's what the EMTs said when they checked it out. It wasn't broken or fractured from what they felt so they told him to just rest. Even when Recovery Girl healed it, she just said the same thing; to go home and rest since it'll still be a little stiff and sore.

So instead of calling his parents, Togaru decided to just relax at home with his foot raised up on the couch. He tried to keep his mind busy by watching some TV but turned it off after seeing he wasn't able to focus on it.

Instead, he kept thinking about what happened and how he was overwhelmed by some petty villains. He couldn't believe it and was angry at himself for not being able to take them all out or stand his ground. He ended up running…him! Running! A natural born fighter with the ability to have razor sharp blades pop out from almost anywhere on his body! How could he lose against some punk ass villains?!

Togaru was upset and disappointed in himself at that. He didn't even want to think about the fact that he got help from someone else. And it was someone from 1A as well! Even if it was one of the kinder ones, he still felt angry over it all. As he tried to not think about that, his mind brought up someone else's image too.

It was that of the green costumed person who helped everyone. The one who apparently came with All Might and had helped everyone out. Who went toe-to-toe with that bio-weapon that even All Might had trouble with. He had even taken out the Nomu for a minute before it regained conscious and then All Might finished the fight and sent him flying away.

Togaru would never admit it to anyone else, but he was in total awe and absolutely jealous of that person's abilities and strength. Before leaving UA, Togaru had learned some information about him. His name was Izuku Midoriya and he was supposed to be a part of class 1A. And from what he gathered, he had helped out many at the USJ and a few others before UA even started. Togaru didn't want to admit it, but this Midoriya really did seem like a true hero. At least he'd admit that he was better than that arrogant bombardier who had a short fuse.

Thinking about that blonde made Togaru became both angered and annoyed. He reminded himself that he didn't train all his life to suddenly get bested by some egotistical asshole during battle trials or by some All Might copy to appear out of nowhere and rescue him. He worked hard to have precise control over his quirk and to make himself into a versatile fighter.

But even with those thoughts in his head, Togaru knew that it wasn't enough. He had to train harder than ever before to become faster, stronger and just become overall much better. And he would show those two that they weren't the only ones who could be strong. And with that declaration made, Togaru got off the couch to get started. His ankle was healed enough, damn it!

Right punch. Shift to the left. Block the incoming strike. Throw an uppercut to the chin. Move in and apply pressure to the torso with multiple jabs. Stay inside their reach. And…

"Alright, that's enough."

Itsuka stopped her assault and took a step back from her opponent. Taking off her protective head gear, she shook her head that let her hair fall before looking at the one she was sparring with. "Thanks for the fight Dad. It was a good way to let off some steam."

Her father took off his head gear too and smiled at her. "Of course sweetheart. Now, let's go join your mother before she gets on the mat too," he joked as he walked off the mat with Itsuka following after him while chuckling.

After Itsuka Kendo came home with her parents, they wanted to know what happened. However, Itsuka wanted to let off some frustration that she was feeling for various reasons first. Understanding her, her parents agreed to a spar with a time limit. Her father, who was one of her two original martial arts instructors when she first started training, decided to be the one she fought. Her mother, who was the second one, decided to set the timer for twenty minutes. She went inside, grabbed a couple towels along with some fruit and went back outside to watch them spar while cutting up the fruit for them all.

When the two joined her on the patio and sat on the chairs, Itsuka spoke up. "Thanks Mom," she said as she picked up a towel and dried off her sweat.

"Of course honey. Feeling better?" she asked and Itsuka nodded. "Good. So, you gonna tell us what happened now?"

Itsuka finished wiping off her sweat before she sat down. "Alright." She took in a breath before she started explaining. "We had rescue training scheduled today. My class and 1A were supposed to practice together and…" As she continued explaining what happened in as much detail as she could remember, her parents listened to every word with rapt attention. When she finally finished, it was silent between the three of them for a while.

Until her mother broke the silence. "Oh wow…I mean…that's…that's a lot of information to take in."

"Yeah, it is," agreed her husband. "How are you holding up?" he asked her.

"Honestly?" Itsuka didn't say anything for a moment. "I…I don't know. I'm glad that everyone came out of it alive but it's awful what happened to some of them. But…But I'm feeling frustrated, confused, scared and anxious more than anything."

"What?"

"Really?"

Her parents glanced at each other before looking at their daughter and said the following together; "Why?"

Itsuka didn't know how to put into words what she was feeling and thinking. But luckily she didn't have to try since her phone started ringing. Looking at her phone that was on the patio table, she saw who it was. "Oh, it's Set. Mom, Dad, can we continue this later?" she asked them as she shifted her gaze back towards them.

Her mother gave an understanding look. "Sure, honey. Go ahead." After Itsuka grabbed the phone along with some apple pieces and thanked them, both parents watched their daughter head inside towards her bedroom. "I'm surprised she didn't call earlier."

"Heh, me too," chuckled her husband before taking on a more serious expression on his face. "I might sound like an asshole for saying this, but I'm so relieved that nothing happened to our baby like what happened to the others."

"You are an asshole, but I don't blame you," she remarked before shaking her head in disbelief. "No parent ever wants to hear about their child getting hurt or worse." She took in a breath and let it out. "To think that even a pro hero was raped…and the others were knocked out. It's just mindboggling to think that these villains were so strong, disgusting and conniving."

"I know what you mean. To think she was so close to all that…"

A shudder went through her over her husband's words. She elbowed him. "Hey, don't make me think about that!"

"Sorry dear," he apologized as he gave her a side hug.

"You better be," she said while leaning into the embrace. Looking up at him, she had a small smile form on her face after a moment. "Even with all that awful crap, thank god for that young man who helped them out. And from what Itsuka said, he sounds like he's powerful and protective."

"I know that look woman," he commented when he noticed the expression on her face. "You planning something aren't you?" he asked her.

A rather too sweet smile spread on her face. "Oh, you know, just thinking how things would turn out if certain things were to happen," she said and her husband merely chuckled while shaking his head over her tone.

When Setsuna Tokage got home with her family, she spent some time with them while explaining what happened. Though they were understandably upset, frightened and worried for her, Setsuna let them know that she was alright. That she hardly got a scratch and that she was much better off than several others. That she had no business complaining or crying when a few others had experienced far worse than her. When they asked her about that, Setsuna stayed silent and they understood.

After a little bit of time, Setsuna told them she wanted to be alone for a while and they allowed her to go to her room. Once she got inside her room, she closed the door, lied down on her bed and then stared up at the ceiling. Closing her eyes, she saw many images flow through her mind's eye. Wanting someone to talk with, she reached for her phone and touched the icon for one of her best friends. It had boxing gloves for the image with the name 'Girl Scout' on it.

Some rings went through before her call was picked up. "About time," said Setsuna.

"Sorry, I was with my parents," replied Itsuka from the other end of the call. "You good Set?"

"No. You?"

"…No, not really."

"I thought so. I feel like shit too." Letting out a sigh, Setsuna frowned. "I mean, like what the fuck?!"

"I know what you mean." Silent for a few seconds before Itsuka said something. "We should check on Yui too."

"Yeah. I'll try to get her on the line. Hold up." Setsuna moved the phone away from her ear and tapped on the other icon on her screen that was an image of a tiara with the name 'Quiet One' on it. Several rings went but the call wasn't connected. Setsuna brought the phone back to her ear. "She's not picking up the phone."

"Probably with her family. You know how they get when something big happens."

"Yeah…" Silence between the two for a few seconds before Setsuna said something that's been on her mind for a while now. "You know what, fuck it. I need to let some things out before I go crazy so I'm just gonna say what's on my mind. I feel horrible for what Christian Girl went through. When we found out what happened, I almost felt like throwing up. We might be okay now, don't know how that happened, but I feel so bad when I was a bitch to her even if she was a bitch to me too in the beginning. And I'm still trying to come to terms with what happened to Midnight Sensei that it's making me feel like…like…"

"I know…and I can't believe it either," spoke up Itsuka sadly. "I keep seeing Midnight…like that…I can't shake off this feeling. It's so awful how many disgusting people there are in the world."

"Yeah that really sucks…" Setsuna then asked her close friend something that was bothering her. "Does it make me a complete bitch that I don't want to think about what happened to them?"

Itsuka didn't answer immediately. "I…don't think so. No sane person would want to think about stuff like that. But hopefully both of them get better soon. And we should do our best to be there for them."

"Yea…yeah! You're right," agreed Setsuna. "But…there's something else I gotta say too."

"What's that?" asked Itsuka.

"Just don't think of me being a heartless, shallow bitch for thinking this now, okay?"

"No promises," joked Itsuka.

"Bitch," replied Setsuna, but they both chuckled. "Anyways…Even with all that shit that happened today, there was something good though." A small smile formed on her face as she started thinking about a particular person. "I can't believe that the one who helped out the girls from 1A showed up at UA today and saved our asses. And he turned out to be a fuckin badass who's cute as hell! As scared shitless as I was, I was turned on when he went all 'hero' mode and stomped on that monster!"

Itsuka couldn't help but laugh a little. "Really Set? But…I'm not gonna deny it…he was pretty amazing, wasn't he?" She went silent for moment as Setsuna agreed with her before continuing. "But what happened at the end? He was fine one second and then he literally had blood shoot out from all over his body!"

"That was freaky as hell!"

"You're telling me. I just…even though I don't know him, I hope he's okay."

"Me too girl. Hopefully we see him again soon. I still have to personally thank him and if you want, I might let you thank him too."

A sigh was let out by Itsuka. "Really? Even now? Can you ever not think about that kind of stuff?"

"Of course now! It's the best time to think of stuff like that! What's better?! Thinking of horrible, awful shit that involves disgusting villains? Or…thinking about fun stuff that involves a badass cutie?!"

Itsuka was quiet for a moment before she finally replied back. "Okay fine, you have a point."

"Of course I do!" said Setsuna before she giggled lightly. "Anyways, I'm okay with you taking a shot as long as I go first and have some fun."

"I'm good, thanks."

"Your loss, Girl Scout. I bet Yui might be down for some fun."

"Please don't corrupt Yui."

"No promises," said Setsuna, repeating what was said to her before chuckling.

"Damn it, Set. Anyways, don't go rushing into anything. You don't want to get into a relationship with someone that you barely know. And what happened about your Todoroki obsession?"

"What? Oh, him…ah, shit now you're gonna make me think about this. But who said I wanna be in a relationship? Maybe I just wanna have some fun. Hmm…anyways, Todoroki is taken and seems a little too quiet for my taste. But this badass…I bet he'd be down to be friends with benefits!"

Itsuka let out a groan on the line. "Set…I really think you shouldn't do that but if you really wanna do that, I can't really stop you."

"Damn right you can't! Plus, I bet…"

"But!" interrupted Itsuka and Setsuna stopped talking so she could continue. "I just want you to be careful and not do things just for the sake of doing them."

"Yeah, I know and thanks girl."

"Thanks for understanding," said Itsuka. Setsuna started saying some other stuff while Itsuka thought if she should bring up what was bothering you. After listening for a bit, she decided to tell her about it. "Set, there's also something else I think you should know," she interrupted

Hearing the serious tone in her friend's voice, Setsuna understood something was up. "Alright, tell me."

"I'm not entirely sure who this Midoriya really is. He could be one hundred percent great for all I know but I saw some stuff that made me worried cause it reminded me of what I went through."

"Oh shit…really?" asked Setsuna. If it reminded Itsuka about her past, then it must be something important and Setsuna wouldn't ignore that.

"Yeah. So when he came to save my group in the mountain zone…"

Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Eijiro Kirishima had left UA together since both of them had their families at work and didn't want to call them to get picked up. Both of their reasoning was the same; it wouldn't be manly to call for a ride home when they were perfectly able to get home on their own. Even when they were being requested to take an escorted ride home with a police officer, they refused and said the same thing; they didn't need it and the two of them had to go to the same train station anyways. Nezu and the police relented but the principal of UA made them promise to give word when they got home.

After agreeing to that, the two of them changed out of their costumes and once they were in their UA uniforms, they headed out to the train station together. At first they were quiet but it didn't take long for the two to start talking about what happened at the USJ.

When they reached the train station, they got tickets and got inside the train. "Today was pretty crazy man but I'm glad things worked out for everyone," remarked Eijiro as he sat down.

"Almost everyone," corrected Tetsutetsu with a somber tone, taking a seat next to his friend.

"Oh right…I still can't believe that happened to Midnight Sensei…"

"Yeah. And I heard that Shiozaki also went through something similar too…"

Eijiro snapped his gaze to Tetsutetsu. "What?! You mean, she was…she was also…"

Tetsutetsu shook his head. "Luckily, no. I and others overheard Bondo and Kuroiro talking about it before that invisible girl from your class told them to stop talking about it but it was too late since most of our classmates heard. They said that they were tricked and ambushed by a villain who had plant controlling powers in the zone they were warped to. And he used Shiozaki to tie them all up while he assaulted her right in front of them. He even made fun of her for believing in God. He was about to…to force her…when Midoriya appeared and stopped him."

"Oh shit…" commented Eijiro in a whisper, horrorstruck.

Tetsutetsu rubbed the back of his neck. "If it wasn't for him…"

"Yeah, I…I get it…" They both went silent while thinking about some things. Eijiro even remembered what his childhood friend and crush told him at that moment. It made him feel uneasy. So much so that he decided to get another's opinion on it. "Hey Tetsu…"

"What's up?"

Letting out a sigh, Eijiro leaned back in his seat and looked at the train ceiling. "The stuff that Bakubro told us…about Midoriya…and after seeing what he did for everyone today…and what our classmates said he did…it doesn't make sense…I feel awful…and I'm…I'm so confused…"

"Yeah, you and me both. I feel like shit for telling the girls what Bakubro told us."

"Me too. I argued and even insulted Mina because of all that…"

"Shit, really?!" asked Tetsutetsu and Eijiro nodded while keeping his gaze upwards. "Not manly dude."

Eijiro groaned before replying back. "I know…I just didn't want her to get hurt by an asshole. But now I see that I was the asshole. And this Midoriya…he risked his life for us all man…and it wasn't even the first time he saved me and Mina. But if he's that good of a guy…then why did Bakubro say all that horrible stuff about him? Is any of the stuff that he said about Midoriya true? Maybe he's just confused? But even so…I just don't know what to believe anymore…"

Tetsutetsu glanced at him before he faced forward. Placing his elbows on his knees, he hunched over while placing his chin on top of his clasped hands. "I know bro, I know…for all we know, Bakubro could even be jealous. The only thing I can say is to keep an open mind and we'll try to find out the truth. Hopefully this Midoriya recovers and we can actually talk to him about all this. Get his side of the story."

Agreeing with Tetsutetsu's words, Eijiro nodded and voiced it as well. For the rest of the train ride home, the two usually enthusiastic UA students remained silent while thinking many things. And the constant image of Mina kept appearing in Eijiro's mind…

Father John had seen many terrible things in his life. Some of those terrible things he even caused himself. Some of which was because of his line of work and what he had to do for the good of the country back in the day. But even with all those terrible things that he's witnessed and done himself, nothing came close to making him feel as horrible thanks to what he was seeing now.

His adopted daughter, Ibara Shiozaki, was in turmoil and he didn't know what to do.

The moment he was informed what had happened by the principal of UA, John had dropped whatever he was doing and made his way to her as quickly as he could. Finding her in a state of anxiety and fear while barely being covered with a thin green blanket, he was about to let loose the violent side of him that he had kept locked up for so many years. But he controlled himself and took her home. And when they arrived home, he gently helped her to her room and had her sit on her bed. He then contacted one of the few people who he trusted who was also a doctor and part of the family to come check on her.

When the doctor finally arrived, John thanked her for coming as soon as she could, even though it took a while. Without waiting for a reply, he escorted her to his daughter's room. With hardly a glance given at her by Ibara even though she knew the doctor, the doctor told him to give them some privacy and he left the two in the room.

And so, John went to the living room but didn't sit down as he waited. During his wait, he kept pacing back and forth while hoping everything was alright. He couldn't help but think of what could've happened to his sweet and innocent Ibara to make her like this. What could've caused her to have her usual bright shining eyes that were filled with confidence, hope and faith to become a dull husk that showed nothing but fear, hopelessness and anxiety?

Thinking about that and many other things, he kept pacing for a while until he heard the sound of a door opening. Stopping his pacing, he looked towards the direction the sound came from and saw the doctor leaving Ibara's room.

Closing the door behind her, she walked up to him and stopped in front of him. "Father John…"

"How is she? Did she talk to you?" he asked.

The doctor glanced back at the room she exited from before facing him again. "She's fine physically except for some deep lacerations and cuts caused by her own vines against her wrists, ankles and abdomen. Looks like they've been partly healed already, thanks to Recovery Girl I assume. They'll heal on their own but they'll leave behind scars."

"What?!" John was shocked. "How did that happen?!"

"A villain who can control plant life after touching them did that to her. Apparently he tricked her and the rest of the classmates she was with and used her vines against them all."

Hands clenching into fists, John shook after heading that. "That bastard!"

"And…" The doctor paused for a second before she continued. "She's suffering from some other things."

"What do you mean by…other things?" he asked with worry.

A sullen look formed on her face. "I normally don't disclose things that my patient told me, but you're her father and I've known you for a long time. The villain didn't just use her vines against her and her classmates. He also assaulted her, ripping off her clothes, touched her and said he was going to violate her and use her for his plans right in front of the others. He also challenged her belief in God as well."

Each word that he heard was making him become angrier and angrier. It was almost to the point of him turning back on his vow that he made so long ago and find this disgusting villain and end him in the most painful way possible. Barely able to control himself, he asked her the question that he dreaded to learn the answer to. "Did…did he…"

She shook her head. "No. Right as he was about to do that, someone intervened and stopped him by knocking him out with a single punch. That person saved her and covered her up with that green blanket."

A relieved sigh was let out by John and what felt like a great weight was lifted from his shoulders. "Oh thank God…" Something clicked in his head right then. He remembered the death grip on the blanket around her and she glared at one of the police officers who tried to switch it with a thicker blanket when he went to pick her up. "So that's why she won't let it go."

A small smile formed on her face. "It does make sense. I was able to get her dressed properly but she wrapped herself up in it again." Her smile faded away. "John, do you want me to be honest with you or bullshit?" she asked him.

"Honest."

"Physically, she'll heal just fine except for the scars. But she wasn't just attacked on her body. Her emotional and mental stability is rocky right now and even her belief in her faith has been attacked and shaken. She's gonna need help."

"I see…what of your quirk?" he asked her.

She looked back at the door. "I can use it on her. And she'll definitely feel better." She returned her gaze back to him. "But remember, it'll only be temporary since my quirk only represses emotions. A few times isn't an issue. But it only lasts twenty four hours and if used too often, especially in a short amount of time, it could cause more harm than good. It should only be used as a last resort to calm someone down if they have an extreme episode."

"I see." Rubbing the back of his head, he then nodded. "Alright. Thank you for everything Dr. Dobrev."

Dr. Dobrev smiled a little again. "John, we've known each other for a long time. You've helped me out and raised me too. Ibara's not the only one. You know you can call me Natasha."

He couldn't help but smile a bit. "Yeah…I know. Just giving you the respect you deserve from this old man after all your hard work."

"Whatever you say…Dad." Natasha's smiled faded and her expression turned serious. "If something happens, call me immediately. I gotta go help the ones who were brought to my hospital from UA. Get them ready so Recovery Girl can heal them."

"Wait, more people were hurt?!" he asked her, aghast at hearing that.

"Mostly their teachers," revealed Natasha as she headed to the exit. "Thirteen, Vlad King, Midnight and one other instructor who I don't recognize. Even All Might sustained injuries but keep that to yourself. I'm under gag orders by UA and the HPSC to not disclose that particular information since they want to release their own statement about it. I know you won't say anything to anyone. But it's stupid honestly, when you think about it since the students probably told their families already and they're probably talking to others about it now too."

It dawned on John at that moment how dangerous things were at the USJ that four pro heroes and even the Symbol of Peace were wounded. "That's insane! Then how come no other student got hurt?! Was it because of All Might? Was it All Might who saved Ibara?" he asked her.

Natasha stopped with her hand on the doorknob and turned to look at John. She was silent for a few seconds before answering him. "It wasn't All Might. It was a student by the name of Izuku Midoriya. He was the one who saved Ibara and many others. He's the only student who's in critical care right now and he's at my hospital. And he's someone I was helping for a while too."

"Saved Ibara and you helped him too…" Something else clicked in John's head at that moment. "Wait! You mean, the young man who was getting therapy with you to get over his bullying and other issues? The one who you said had a long road to go but was still surprised over his resilience? You never did mention his name before…but he's the same person who saved my Ibara?!"

Natasha smiled as he understood. "Who knows? Just keep your assumptions to yourself please. I'll see you around." With that farewell, Dr. Natasha Dobrev let herself out and closed the door behind her.

John stood there for a moment before shaking his head. He turned around and headed towards his daughter's room while thinking. I'll have to thank him one day but right now, my priority is Ibara.

Reaching her room, he knocked on the door and asked if he could come in. He heard a small voice tell him it was alright and he opened the door. "Ibara…" he said as he walked up to his daughter who was looking at him with a sullen expression. He sat down on the side of her bed and gave her a hug that she leaned into while still holding onto the green blanket that was wrapped around her…

Yui Koda was often seen as a stoic girl who spoke very rarely and who displayed her emotions far less for others to see. However, right now, she was just like any other typical girl at the age of eighteen who went through something traumatic. And that meant that she was crying while being embraced by her mother and father.

Her parents had received the emergency calls from UA and though they were working at the hospital, they weren't needed at the moment and so they both left. Kahori and Daichi Kodai hurried to UA, picked up their daughter and went straight home. Yui had kept silent and strong all the way home while her parents asked her several times if she was alright. It was only when they finally entered their home and Yui sat down on the largest couch in the living room with her mother and father sitting beside her that her demeanor cracked.

Seeing that momentary weakness in her daughter made her mother ask her if she was alright once more and that's when Yui broke down. As if a switch was hit, heavy and fast tears suddenly escaped from her eyes as Yui turned to her side and hugged her mother as tightly as she could while crying loudly. Both of her parents were absolutely stunned in seeing their daughter like this since. She hadn't cried since the last time she had one of her rare tantrums to go play at the park so many years ago.

"Y-Yui…what, what…" stuttered Kahori, not knowing what to do, which was a rarity for her.

"Mom! Dad!" cried Yui.

"It's okay, just let it out," advised Daichi and Yui heeded her words as she cried harder.

They waited a few minutes until Yui seemed to slowly calm down. When her sobs turned into sniffles, the two figured that now would be a good time to get some information. "Yui…what happened?" asked Kahori as she kept her hold on her daughter.

Yui took in a few deep breaths and exhaled them out. When she felt composed enough, she spoke. "We had rescue training scheduled for today at the USJ facility. It was an amazing place that was built by Thirteen to simulate different disaster scenarios so we can learn how to behave in those types of situations. As soon as we got there however, the villains showed up. They…"

As their daughter continued explaining what occurred, both Kahori and Daichi felt horrible over what she went through. They were proud of her for staying calm and working together with her fellow peers to escape from the villains. But they couldn't deny that they felt absolute terror fill them when they were told that she was inches away from death. If this young man had arrived even a second later, they wouldn't have their daughter here with them now.

Yui continued explaining what happened after. Even when she got a call on her phone and saw it was one of her best friends, she silenced the call and kept going. When she finally finished, she couldn't help it and started shedding more tears again. She cried over how she was almost killed and how scared she still felt. And she cried for the one who protected her and everyone else while apparently sacrificing himself just so they could get a little more time until All Might finally came back.

Kahori and Daichi glanced at one another over the top of Yui's head while thinking very similar things. Looking back at their daughter, they both rubbed her back as Kahori spoke. "Yui, raise your gaze, please." Yui did as she was told and looked up at her mother with tears still falling down her cheeks. Kahori moved her hands to cup her daughter's fair face and wiped the tears away with her thumbs. "I'm so sorry that you went through such horrible things. But it's alright now, sweetheart. Everything's gonna be fine. You're safe and sound at home and we want you to just relax until you go back to UA."

"M-Mom…" whispered Yui with slightly wide eyes.

A slight smile formed on Kahori. "I know your father and I are pretty strict with you and push you to do better and be better. But we always have your best interest at heart, dear. And we're not some cold hearted, old school parents who only care about their image to the point that we can't even see that our daughter's hurting. Like I said, for now, just relax and do whatever you want to do and if you need help, just let us know. Until you go back to UA on Monday. Or if you need a little bit more time, you can stay home longer or even leave UA altogether too. That's perfectly fine with us. Whatever you want."

Yui was in shock. Her parents had always been strict and only very rarely buckled to the things she wanted. But now they were telling her that she didn't have to worry about any of that and that she could even leave UA if she wanted to? Was it because she told them that she was almost killed? Whatever the reason, never had she ever been offered so many choices by her parents that she was overwhelmed for a moment.

But then the image of the green haired young man appeared in her mind and she snapped out of it. She couldn't leave UA. Her best friends were still going as far as she knew and she wanted to stay with them. And it was the only place she knew where she could find him too. That is if he even came back to UA. Pushing that aside for now, Yui nodded at her mother. "Thank you. I still want to go to UA but I'll try to relax until I go back."

"As you wish dear," remarked Kahori.

"Anything you need, you just let us know," said Daichi.

Yui nodded. "Thank you. Mother. Father." Hugging them tightly and getting it reciprocated, Yui held onto them for a little bit longer before letting go. Giving them a small smile, she was about to get up to go to her room when something crossed her mind. She stopped and turned towards Daichi. "Would you be able to find out which hospital he went to?"

Daichi knew who she was talking about. "Should be possible but why do you want to know?"

"I want to make sure he's alright. I'd like to thank him for saving my life. And…" Her cheeks reddened slightly and feeling embarrassed all of a sudden, Yui looked down at her lap. "…I'd like to get to know him," she finished saying in a whisper.

"Oh?" Daichi was intrigued over this since this young man had captured his daughter's attention when no other suitor had before. I guess those princess movies she watched as a child made her want a hero to save her before getting feelings. He happened to glance at his wife only for his eyebrows to rise.

Kahori was giving a wide smile and her eyes seemed to twinkle a bit. "I see now. No wonder you rejected all those suitors. Our little princess wanted a knight in shining armor to come to her rescue so she could fall in love with him huh?"

"Mother!" yelped Yui before burying her crimson face in her hands. "It's not like that!" she squeaked out before standing up abruptly and hurried to her room with her face still in her hands. Yet she didn't run into anything since she knew the layout of the house and where everything was.

Ignoring how embarrassed Yui was becoming, Kahori kept up the pressure as she went after her. "It's alright Yui, you can tell me! What kind of green color was his hair and eyes? Was he tall? Muscular or cut? C'mon on now Yui, tell me! You can't just drop a bomb like this on your parents and keep us in the dark! Especially after rejecting everyone else!"

Watching his wife go after their daughter while teasing her, Daichi smiled. It's been a long time since he'd seen the two like that. His smile faded a little though while thinking something. It sucks that it had to come after something so terrible happened. We'll have to make it up to Yui somehow. We've pushed her so much and forced her to do the things that we wanted her to do. From those classes and formal events to going on forced dates with those suitors that we picked out for her that she rejected and some that she didn't even give a chance to. We did that for her future and happiness but…

Daichi let out a sigh before getting up and heading towards the living room window. Looking over the city since they were at one of the topmost floors in the building, Daichi kept thinking. I can't believe that it took a near death experience for us to really think about our daughter and what she wants instead of what we want. She was only ever happy when she was able to choose. Her decisions led her to make two very good friends who are like sisters to her. And she was able to get into UA, the most prestigious hero school in the nation, if not the world without our help. Even though she was in danger, she still wants to go back. And she wants to meet this young man…this Izuku Midoriya…if these are her decisions, then I will do what I can to help her achieve her goals. That is what a parent must do! I'm only ashamed that it took this long for us to realize that…

Fuyumi Todoroki was an absolute mess. Her cooking apron was covered in food stains because she kept messing up due to being distracted while her face had dried tear marks. And it was all thanks to what she learned about what her brother went through that day after he was escorted home by the police.

She couldn't believe it. How could villains invade UA? Why did they think that they could kill All Might? Why did the villains attack the students and instructors? She didn't know the exact details since Shoto only gave her a general idea of what happened when he came home. And she was absolutely horrified that her brother might've been hurt or worse.

But luckily, he wasn't hurt in any way. In fact, most students were alright and only one had gotten serious injuries from what her brother said. Though she felt terrible over what that unfortunate student went through, she couldn't help but feel relieved that her brother was alright.

Wanting to do something for her brother, Fuyumi told Shoto to go change and that she'd get some food ready for them. But as she tried to make something for them to eat, she couldn't focus and she kept botching the food as uncontrollable tears spilled from her eyes. Tears that were caused by random thoughts and images that entered her head and made her feel awful.

"Fuyumi."

Hearing Shoto say her name made her turn to look at him. "He-Hey, Shoto, s-sorry but food's not ready yet…"

Shoto kept his stoic gaze on her for a moment before looking away. "It's fine. And don't worry about me, so stop crying."

"Shoto?"

Shoto left the kitchen before his sister could say anything else. He didn't want to see her crying. He hated seeing tears. It made him remember memories that he wanted to just keep buried in the past. Plus, he was alive and well. He didn't need her fussing over him. Especially when there wasn't a reason for it. And if you asked him, there was no point to crying because they never helped fix anything. That's all tears were. Just a waste of fluids…

Going to his room, Shoto was about to reach it when he heard the front door open and then close. And then he heard those heavy footsteps that could only belong to one man. Frowning, he entered his room and closed the sliding door behind him. He had barely walked a few steps in when the sliding door to his room was opened and the one person who he despised more than anything else stood in the doorway.

"Shoto. Follow me," ordered Enji. Without waiting for him, Enji turned and walked away.

Gritting his teeth, Shoto followed after him. They entered the training room and Enji stood where he always stood after closing the door. Shoto took up his regular spot across from him that was about ten feet away. "What do you want?" asked Shoto with annoyance.

Enji's eyes narrowed. "I heard what happened. Now I want you to tell me what happened."

"What's the point? You already know," replied Shoto with narrowed eyes but Enji glared back at him as he crossed his arms. "Fine." Shoto crossed his arms too and looked to the side before explaining. "We went to the USJ for rescue training. Villains ambushed us thanks to a warp user. We were separated into the different zones. I took care of the villains that I found with no problems. All Might arrived…"

Saying the number one hero's name made Enji growl quietly with puffs of smoke let go from his nostrils.

Shoto noticed that even while looking away from him and was glad that his father was annoyed at hearing the Symbol of Peace's name. "…and fought against the villains and a bio-engineered weapon they called Nomu. They fought while the other teachers took care of the other villains. I and my classmates regrouped at the entrance. In the end, All Might defeated the Nomu and that's when reinforcements arrived. The last two villains escaped via a wrap gate. There, happy?" he asked.

Enji scoffed before replying back. "Aren't you missing some important details?" he asked. Before Shoto could say something, Enji spoke. "What did that Yaoyorozu girl do? And what's this green savior that I'm hearing about again? And this time from the police?"

Shoto was surprised while also feeling irritated at the same time but kept his stoic demeanor. "I don't know what she did since she was in a different zone than me. But she regrouped at the front with no injuries so I assume she was able to handle the villains in her area just fine."

"Hmph. It seems she wasn't violated like that dumb slut who pretends she's a pro. Good. And what else?"

Shoto pretended he didn't hear the comment about Midnight. "And I don't know any green savior."

An annoyed and agitated expression formed on Enji's face. "Is that so? Then who is the green haired young man that was in a green costume that the police were informed of being a great help by everyone else? Was he not the one who was able to fight the monster that was made to fight All Might by himself for a while? Did he not knock it out, even if for a moment? Are you telling me that you didn't see this so called green savior? Who goes by the name of Izuku Midoriya?"

Shoto grit his teeth and clenched his hands into fists after uncrossing his arms and looked at Enji. "So what if I have or haven't? All Might was still the one who ended up defeating that beast in the end."

"That may be, but if it was specifically made to fight that happy go lucky bastard and this Midoriya was able to go against it, than that means you have someone else to surpass to the number one spot."

"I told you, I don't care for that! Isn't that why…"

"AND!" interrupted Enji with slight anger, making Shoto go quiet but kept a glare on his face. "That's what I would've said had you not thrown away all the training you've done. I tell you this so that you're aware of something. You'll have to make sure that girl doesn't start lusting after him!"

"Huh?" Shoto was actually confused over what he was just said.

Enji snarled before he explained. "Midoriya was the one who saved your betrothed at the beach and he saved her again in her zone before saving everyone else!"

"That…was him? He did all that?" asked Shoto in surprise. Now that I think about it, I did see him before…at their residence…that's right! But… "Wait, how do you know all this?"

Enji scoffed. "Do you think I'm the number two hero in Japan just for some ranking system? I have eyes and ears in many places and many people with connections in my pocket. What do you think your classmates said to the police? And I have contacts in the police department. It pays to have things like that at your disposal. That is why you should stop lying to me and tell me everything."

"I didn't lie."

"Omitting is the same as lying. But if you want to play this game, you'll end up in a worse position."

"Fine. Is that it?" asked Shoto but didn't wait for a reply as he made to leave the room.

"No, it's not!" snapped Enji, making Shoto stop and let out a sigh before shaking his head. When he turned towards him, Enji continued. "We had an agreement but my patience is wearing out. You want your freedom? Then make sure you're the one who gets with that girl and start trying for a replacement. I don't care if you're still at UA."

Enji moved to the sliding door and opened it but didn't leave the room just yet. Glancing back at his rebellious son who was giving him an angry look that didn't affect him at all, Enji said something else that he'd thought of on his way home. "If you can't even manage that, then you're useless to me and definitely not the perfect offspring I thought you were. But fortune seems to smile on me since I was given another route for my goals. If you can't do your duty, I'll marry off Fuyumi to Izuku Midoriya and have them produce a replacement. At least she'll be easier to deal with than you."

Shoto was shaking with anger the whole time Enji spoke but when he said those final statements, he snapped. "You bastard!" shouted Shoto and was about to launch a valley of ice. But an overwhelming punch struck him in the stomach that he never saw coming. Shoto dropped to his knees with bulging eyes and held his stomach as he dry heaved.

"Pathetic," commented Enji with disappointment evident in his tone and with no care whatsoever at what he just did to his son. "I did everything to get you on the path to become a powerful warrior with incredible dual quirks that complement each other. You were handed everything on a silver platter. You could've been the best of the best. But you refused to take your place in destiny. Instead you'll let someone else take your place. You're a failure and a coward. Now, you'll do as I command. Produce an heir by the end of this year with that Yaoyorozu girl. Or you'll be kicked out of this house and Fuyumi will take your spot instead with someone else who seems to have potential."

Enji stepped out of the room but stopped in front of the doorway. He spoke while not facing Shoto. "Some hero you're trying to be, letting another take your place. Whether it's your offspring or your sister's child. You truly are pathetic. No wonder she went crazy and marked you." Finishing with that, Enji closed the sliding door behind him and the sound of his footsteps faded as he walked away.

Shoto stayed on his knees for a bit as he tried to get his breathing back under control but was having a difficult time in doing so. Especially after those parting words said to him. He lowered his head until his forehead was touching the floor while hugging his stomach since it still hurt. Barely audible sobs were let out by him as he tried to keep his emotions in check. "I-I hate you…" he whispered into the empty and silent room. "And I hate myself…"

While Shoto let out some of his grief in private, someone else stood leaning against the wall with her back near the training room. Neither Enji nor Shoto noticed that she had been listening in on everything that was said. Only when her younger brother said those final words, did she move.

Fuyumi quickly but quietly left the area with fresh tears falling from her eyes. She had hoped and prayed for a long time that their family could somehow come back together again. But it seemed that all of her prayers and hoping equaled to absolutely nothing.

She was such a fool.

And now she knew how right her brothers were. Their family was broken and will never be repaired. And it was all because of Endeavor. None of them could stand against their father. They were stuck doing his bidding, whether they liked it or not. And now, she too was suddenly in danger of completely losing her freedom and becoming one of his tools to be used for his ludicrous ambitions.

Returning back to the kitchen and doing her best to act as if nothing happened, Fuyumi prepared dinner for them all. If she didn't, then both Shoto and Enji would know that something was wrong. And she was too afraid of what her father would do if he found out the reason why.

I'm sorry…I'm so sorry Shoto…I didn't realize how much you were suffering all this time…and I could be next…please Shoto…I don't know if I'd be able to survive that…I'm sorry for being so selfish…but please don't fail…Wiping her tears away, Fuyumi looked up towards the ceiling. Even though she now believed that her prayers weren't going to do anything, she couldn't help herself and said another one. God, please forgive me…and please…help us…

"Are you really okay Sis?"

"Yeah, are you?"

"I'm alright, kero." Tsuyu hugged her younger brother and sister tightly while sitting on the couch in the living room as their parents hugged them.

The moment she came home with her mother, her father and siblings came up to her and hugged her tightly before her mother joined in as well. They then sat down and had Tsuyu tell them what happened. As Tsuyu explained, she kept things kid friendly since Samidare and Satsuki were there too.

When she talked about how she was almost killed, she made sure to make it not sound so scary and that only her parents understood. When she finished telling them everything, they were quiet for a bit before they started talking.

Her parents were happy and relieved that Tsuyu was alright and that nothing happened to her. Her younger siblings felt that way too but they were also awed by how brave and tough she was. After talking to each other for a bit, with Tsuyu having calmed down a bit, her mother Beru and her father Ganma got up and started making dinner together for them all.

It was at that moment when Tsuyu got a call on her cell phone. Glancing at it, she saw who it was. Standing up, she told her family that she'll be back in a little bit as she went to her room with phone in hand. Once in the privacy of her room, Tsuyu answered the call. "Hello?"

"Oh thank god! I thought something happened to ya Tsu!"

Tsuyu felt a little guilty over causing her worry. "Sorry, kero. I was with family. You okay Mina-chan?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine! I got Toru on the other line. You okay with a three-way call?" she asked.

"Sure."

"Alright, hold on." A few seconds passed by and then Mina spoke again. "That should do it!"

"Hey Tsu! Can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear, Toru-chan."

"Good! So, you doing alright?" asked Toru.

"I'm..." Tsuyu hesitated. She sat down on her bed and faced the wall but wasn't really looking at it. "…I don't know."

"We figured you might be a little out of it because of what happened to you," said Toru with a sullen tone of voice.

"Yeah, so we wanted to check in on you," added Mina. "Wanna talk about it?"

"I…I don't want to bother you," said Tsuyu finally after a moment's pause.

"What?! C'mon, you'll never bother us Tsu!"

"Toru's right girl! Us girls of 1A need to stick together!"

Tsuyu couldn't help but smile a little. "I guess you're right."

"Damn straight! You know what, let me get the rest on here. Hold on." Toru went to add Ochaco and Kyoka to the call but was unsuccessful. "Damn it, Ochaco and Kyoka aren't answering."

"Oh, right. Ochaco-chan said she'll call me tomorrow since she went with Thirteen to the hospital."

"Wait, when did she get hurt?!" asked Mina in worry with Toru letting out a yelp of fear.

"No, she wasn't hurt. She just didn't want Thirteen to be left alone and I think she said she was living on her own anyway until the dorms opened up."

"Oh, that makes sense," remarked Toru.

"Why didn't she say anything? She could've stayed with me. I'm sure my family won't mind," said Mina and the two shared the sentiment. "Well, anyway, she probably can't use her phone there."

"Probably. And Kyoka did mention how overprotective her parents are. Well, mostly her dad," reminded Toru with a giggle.

"He's probably smothering her and she can't escape from him! And she's probably getting annoyed!" joked Mina and the three of them laughed or giggled.

"So, how are you two doing?" asked Tsuyu.

"I've been better," answered Toru and she continued speaking with her tone of voice becoming noticeably sadder. "I try not to think about what happened in front of me but it's hard not to. And seeing Midnight Sensei like that…"

"That must've been horrible Toru-chan," said Tsuyu. "And seeing Midnight Sensei in that state…I don't think I'll ever forget that."

"Yeah," agreed the two at the same time.

Mina began sharing her thoughts. "I don't know how I'd be feeling with being a witness to what happened to Shiozaki. I mean, I just saw what happened to Midnight Sensei in the end and I still feel like my stomach's twisted. I feel so horrible because we left her with the villains because she told us to. If we stayed, then maybe…"

"Stop Mina," said Tsuyu, interrupting her. "We don't know what would've happened. Maybe you could've helped her. Or maybe things could've been worse. Maybe what happened to her could've happened to you and the others too..."

Audible sounds of disgust and fear were let out by all three of them. It took a short while until one of them spoke up. "Tsu's right Mina. Let's try not to focus on the 'what ifs'. It's horrible what happened to Midnight Sensei and to Shiozaki. But at least they're alive and we just have to be there for them."

"Yes, we will," agreed Tsuyu.

"Okay, yeah, you're right," said Mina. Feeling a little better, Mina directed a question to Tsuyu. "So Tsu, are you sure you don't want to share what's on your mind too?" she asked.

"You can tell us Tsu," encouraged Toru

Thinking for a bit if she should, Tsuyu finally decided. "Okay. Well…I…I'm still afraid. Every time I close my eyes, I see those hands coming to my face…" Mina and Toru both felt horrible at hearing their friend say that, letting out shocked gasps. "If…If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here right now. If he was just one second later…"

"Don't think like that Tsu!" advised Mina. "You gotta stay positive. I know it's scary what happened to us but don't let that control you. Just like you said. That's what we should do."

"She's right!" chimed in Toru. "We should learn from what happened but that doesn't mean that we should stay depressed. Just remember the good that happened."

Tsuyu felt better thanks to their words and because she remembered the last second arrival of Izuku Midoriya. How he saved both her and Yui Kodai from being turned into dust. "You're both right. And I am now, thanks Toru-chan."

Catching that different tone in her voice, Mina pounced on it for two reasons. First was because she was curious and second, was so they could talk about better topics. "And what exactly are you remembering Tsu?" asked Mina with a rather sweet tone of voice.

Even though she was in the privacy of her room, Tsuyu couldn't help but blush a little. "Nothing, kero."

"Ah, c'mon Tsu! I'll share if you do!" pleaded Toru but Tsuyu didn't agree.

"Well, someone's being a little secretive," teased Mina. "But that's fine. I'll get it outta ya sooner or later!"

"Good luck," said Tsuyu while smiling.

"Ooh, I like a challenge!" The three of them giggled or chuckled a bit before Mina continued. "Anyways, there's something I wanted to say…we now have irrefutable proof and many eyewitnesses to the truth."

"And what proof and truth are you talking about, kero?" asked Tsuyu.

"That Izuku Midoriya is a certifiable badass who's protective and also super cute!"

"Seconded!" agreed Toru immediately. "You should've seen the way he knocked out that disgusting rapist with a single punch and then comforted Shiozaki while covering her up. He was like a knight in shining armor!"

"And remember how he jumped in to save All Might and caught that punch?!"

"Oh yea, and don't forget how he went all berserk on that Nomu!"

Tsuyu listened to her two friends going back and forth about what Izuku Midoriya did with excited tones of voices that also portrayed their interest and admiration. It made her feel better to hear them talking like this. It allowed Tsuyu to think about other things that wasn't about her near-death experience. One of which was Izuku Midoriya.

Tsuyu now understood why several of her classmates were interested in him. Seeing what he's capable of herself, how he looks, how he acted and everything else, Tsuyu couldn't help but develop a little bit of a crush herself. However, she would control her feelings because there was still a lot she didn't know about him. But she was willing to find out. She only hoped that she'd get a chance since he was taken to the hospital…

"Hey," Tsuyu's sudden word made both Mina and Toru stop their talking and she continued. "Do you know which hospital they took Midoriya?"

The atmosphere between them suddenly turned gloomy as Toru let out a loud sigh. "No…"

"Me neither," grumbled Mina.

"Alright. Sorry, kero. I didn't mean to make you sad. I just thought maybe I could visit him if I knew which hospital he was at," said Tsuyu.

"Yeah that would've been a nice thing to do," said Toru, thinking that was a good idea if they could just find out where he was taken.

"Oh, I see…you're trying to score some points by visiting him. I see your plans now Tsu!" teased Mina, seeing an opportunity to mess with her friend and to get their minds off sad topics once more.

Tsuyu reddened slightly but was able to control herself. And she couldn't help but roll her eyes even though they couldn't see her. "You found out my master plan Mina. Oh no, it's ruined. How clever of you," she deadpanned in a monotone voice.

"Ah, don't kill my fun!" whined Mina and they all chuckled.

Sudden knocking on Tsuyu's door made her look towards it and saw her mom poke her head in. "Dinner's ready."

Tsuyu nodded and her mother closed the door. "Gotta go eat with family. I'll talk to you later."

"Alright, see ya Tsu!"

"Goodnight Tsu! Have fun dreaming about our green haired hunk now! I know I will!"

Tsuyu shook her head before saying goodnight back to them. She heard more laughter before she hung up. Smiling while looking at her phone, Tsuyu felt glad that she had good friends. Getting off her bed, she placed the phone on her night stand before heading out to join her family for dinner.

"You think he's alright?"

"Course he is."

"He's been in his room since he got home."

"Probably pissed off about something. Then again, when isn't he?"

They both chuckled at that. "Wanna bet what it's from this time?"

"You're on! I bet it's because he didn't get to fight enough villains."

"Alright. I bet that someone else got a chance to show off more than he did."

"Ah shit, I should've said that. Damn it! Alright, whatever. What does the winner get?"

"Hmmm…how about a weekend getaway and during that weekend, the winner can do whatever they want to the loser?"

"You're on!"

Shaking hands, the couple then finished up setting the table before one of them went to call their son down to join them for dinner. "Hey brat, get your ass down here!"

"SHUT UP HAG!" came the muffled shouting of her son through his room's door.

"DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE AND DRAG YOU DOWN FOR DINNER!"

A door opened and Katsuki Bakugo stepped out of his room with an agitated expression on his face. "I'LL COME DOWN WHEN I WANT TO DAMN IT!"

"STOP YOUR SCREAMING YOU LITTLE SHIT AND HURRY UP BEFORE IT GETS COLD CAUSE I'M NOT GONNA REHEAT IT FOR YOU!" Without waiting for a reply, Mitsuki went back to the kitchen and sat down next to her husband Masaru.

Katsuki grumbled several cuss words while making his way down the stairs but stopped doing so as he entered the kitchen. Pulling out a chair, he dropped onto it and began putting food onto his plate.

"So, Katsuki, you sure you're alright?" asked Masaru after a moment.

"Ha?" said Katsuki as he glanced at his dad before turning away from him. "I said I was fine damn it!"

"Watch your tone brat!" chastised Mitsuki annoyingly.

Before Katsuki could reply back, Masaru spoke up. "Katsuki…"

Hearing his name in a rather serious tone made the brash bombardier stop and look at his father again. "What?" he asked in a slightly calmer tone.

"If you are fine, then what's bothering you?" he asked.

"Nothing's bothering me!" answered Katsuki as he snapped his gaze back to the food on his plate. Grabbing his utensils, he started eating in an aggressive manner.

"I see. Then, why don't you tell us what happened? We were told what happened but I assume it was summarized. We're interested to hear more details and what you're input on it is," said Masaru.

Chewing and then swallowing his food, Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Fine, damn it." Katsuki started telling them what happened and what he did without much issue. At least until he got to the part where he told them how it was Deku who was the green costumed person and how he was able to fight against the Nomu.

That information made both parents drop their utensils onto their plates. "Wait, what?!" interrupted Masaru in shock. "It was Midoriya and he fought against the anti-All Might?!"

"How?!" asked Mitsuki. "Isn't he quirkless?!"

"Of course he is! That damn Deku can't do shit!" growled Katsuki.

Masaru however shook his head. "If he was still quirkless, then yes, he wouldn't have been able to help. But somehow he was able to fight against this beast. Have you noticed any changes in him besides this?"

"Of course not! That fuckin nerd…"

"WATCH YOUR FUCKIN MOUTH!"

"DON'T YELL AT ME YOU DAMN HAG!"

"Enough!" snapped Masaru, making both Katsuki and Mitsuki stop and look at him. They could both see he was holding in his anger and they both calmed down since they didn't want to push him over the edge. Oddly enough, when he got mad, it was a bit frightening to the two. Though one of them would never admit it. "Now, let's look at this logically. Midoriya was quirkless but now it seems he has a quirk. The question is how and why?"

"Maybe he's a late bloomer?" suggested Mitsuki.

"I'll tell you how and why," said Katsuki with a growl. "That piece of shit has been lying all this time or he somehow cheated or did something illegal to finally get a quirk! Cause there's no way someone as old as him and as useless as him could've gotten a quirk normally!"

"Hmm…we'll have to check on the public records for oldest known person to get a quirk..." Masaru turned to look at Mitsuki who turned her gaze to his as well. "Has Inko mentioned anything to you?"

Mitsuki shook her head before looking down at her plate with a sullen look forming on her face. "We haven't talked in a long time."

"Really? How long?" asked her husband.

"I don't really know…about a year and a half? Give or take a month or two maybe?"

Her answer made both Masaru and Katsuki become stunned. The two were the best of friends since they were young so hearing them not talking for a long time shocked them.

"What? Why haven't you mentioned anything?" asked Masaru. He became worried that something was going on if his wife was hiding it.

"I…I don't know," replied Mitsuki quietly. "I guess, I just didn't want to admit that we weren't talking and I was busy with other things. In the beginning she said she was busy but as time went on, she wouldn't even pick up the phone. The last time I really talked with Inko was some time after that slime villain incident happened."

Katsuki was stunned to see his mother like this. But at the same time, he clenched his right hand into a fist as she brought that particular incident up. It was still a sore subject for him. But he was also astonished that his mom and Deku's mom haven't talked for so long.

"I see. Anything in that last conversation that might be a clue as to why you two drifted apart?" asked Masaru.

"I don't know. It's kind of hard to remember since it was so long ago." Trying to remember what was said, something came to mind and Mitsuki looked at Masaru before continuing. "Inko did mention how some important things came up and how she had a lot of work to do in the future."

"Hmm, perhaps these important things could be Midoriya finally manifesting his quirk and he needed help to learn how to control it," suggested Masaru.

Katsuki scoffed at that, drawing attention to him. "Even if that was true, that useless Deku still couldn't do shit! Even after showing off so much with that so called quirk of his that he probably lied about, cheated or did something illegal to get, he couldn't even take out the Nomu! Instead, he ended up getting sent to the hospital like the worthless bug he is! I could've done better!" he said, lying to them and to himself.

"What?!" said both Masaru and Mitsuki before glancing at one another in worry.

Mitsuki pulled out her phone and tried calling Inko. The phone rang a few times before it went to voicemail. "Inko's not picking up again." Lowering the phone, Mitsuki frowned as she looked at the screen. "Why won't she pick up?"

"She's probably with Midoriya now at the hospital, so…"

"Maybe," interrupted Mitsuki before looking at him. "But why won't she pick up? What happened? Did I do something to her without knowing?"

"Mitsuki…" Masaru and even Katsuki looked dumbfounded over how she was taking this. But then her husband was the first to say something. "Do you think that she's avoiding you? And if so, why?"

"I…I don't know…" Mitsuki looked at her phone again with a sullen expression on her face.

Katsuki couldn't take it anymore and stood up. "Whatever. Who cares if she's avoiding you or not? Anyways, I'm done with dinner. I got better things to do than talk about stuff concerning that useless waste of space," he said as he left the dining area with his parents giving him disappointed looks but he never noticed them.

As Katsuki went back to his room and spent time there until he went to sleep, he thought of a lot of things. And some of those things were what he witnessed at the USJ. How he was shown that he was nowhere near the top. That All Might was at that top of mountain and he was nowhere near it. But somehow, that annoying little shit Deku was closer to the top than he was. How could that be possible? That piece of shit was nothing but a pebble on the side of the road…

It infuriated Katsuki to no end. And he was even annoyed over how the other useless extras were cheering for him…for Deku of all people! And even that brunette girl did so too who was amongst the first to scream out encouragement for that bastard.

At that moment, Katsuki felt several emotions fill him. He felt frustrated. He felt annoyed. He felt confused over his parent's behavior and how his mom looked so sad, which isn't something that he could've ever imagined her being. He even felt jealous. And above all, he felt so damn angry over it all.

And he knew the one responsible for it all. Damn you Deku! How dare you! Fuckin up my life like the fuckin cockroach you are! I swear I'm gonna destroy you; you piece of shit! The first chance I get and I'm gonna do it in front of everyone so they know the truth! That' you're nothing but a bug and I'm the top dog!

While Katsuki fumed in his room until he finally fell asleep, his parents were having their own issues downstairs. They were lost in thought over what they learned from Katsuki about what happened that day. And they were also thinking about what reason there'd be for Inko to avoid Mitsuki. So caught up with all of that, that they even forgot about the bet they made between themselves…

Anger. Frustration. Confusion. Fear. Annoyance.

Those were just the tip of the iceberg of what the matriarch of the house of Yaoyorozu was feeling at the moment. And it was all because of two things. The first was what happened at UA earlier that day. The second was the more alarming and important thing, which was how her daughter was behaving ever since she came back home.

When she and her husband had their daughter Momo picked up and brought home from UA, they were relieved to see that she was alright. As soon as Momo had calmed down enough and had gotten something to eat since she mentioned how weak and hungry she was, Mrs. Yaoyorozu all but demanded to know what had happened with her husband voicing the same but much more calmly.

Listening to their daughter explain, their relief slowly changed into fear, shock and disbelief. They couldn't believe how she was in danger multiple times and yet somehow escaped from it all with barely any scratches.

They wondered how it was possible. That is until Momo informed them of who was responsible for it all. Izuku Midoriya, the same young man with green hair and eyes who had rescued her from some villains some time ago, had once again appeared out of nowhere and saved her along with everyone else.

Hearing that it was that particular person again did not make Mrs. Yaoyorozu surprised or happy. If anything, she felt as if she was being mocked. How could that person…the one who she met…the one who didn't impress her at all with his timid behavior and appearance of a common low born…how could he have such power and capability to do any of the things that Momo said he did? Taking down multiple villains with a single strike? Rescuing almost all of the first years in different areas? Fighting against a bio-engineered monster that was specifically created to take down the number one hero and he was able to stand his ground against it, even if it was for a little while?

No, it couldn't be true. There's no way it could be possible for that particular person to do all that. It had to be some sort of sick joke being played on her but she wondered why Momo would do such a thing. That is until an epiphany occurred to her and she realized why she must be fabricating all of this.

"Enough…" said Mrs. Yaoyorozu in a low voice that wasn't heard by Momo as she kept talking in a sullen, worried tone about how her savior had gotten extremely hurt and was taken to the hospital. "I said that's enough," she repeated slightly louder this time but yet again Momo didn't hear her but her husband did. He turned his gaze to her and opened his mouth to ask what was wrong but she cut him off. "I SAID THAT'S ENOUGH!" she screamed out.

Immediately Momo went silent, startled over her mother's sudden outburst and even the patriarch of the family was frozen in shock.

"Enough! Enough! Enough! I don't want to hear another word out of you!" said Mrs. Yaoyorozu angrily.

"M-Mother, wh-what…"

"No! No more!" snapped Mrs. Yaoyorozu with a piercing glare leveled at Momo who recoiled from it in her seat. "How dare you sit here and tell us such bold faced lies!"

Momo was bewildered over her behavior and was shaking slightly from fear, shock and confusion. "B-But I ha-haven't said an-any lies…"

"Haruka, why would Momo lie to us? Don't you think it's a little much for her to exaggerate like this?" he asked her.

Snapping her gaze to her husband's, Haruka looks both angered and frustrated over his words. "Kenji! Do not take her side! It's bad enough that she's been moping around these last few days and barely interacting with us! But now she's lying to us!"

"I'm not lying!" repeated Momo with a little bit of anger.

Whipping her sight back onto her daughter's, Haruka spoke. "Oh really?! It's a little too convenient that your so called hero was able to save you in your hour of need again! Tell us the truth of what really happened! It's probably that All Might saved you and your classmates! And I bet it was Todoroki who saved you, not that low born peasant!"

"No! I mean, Todoroki did help protect me and everyone else for a moment near the end and yes, All Might was the one who finished the fight but…"

"You see!" interrupted Haruka as she pointed at Momo and snapped her gaze to Kenji again. "Even she admits it! And she's trying to make things up!"

Momo felt her jaw drop a little and she could hear her heart thumping loudly in her ears. "N-No, I-I'm not! Why would I?! Just let me explain in detail because there's still-"

"You don't need to explain anything because I'll tell you why!" interrupted Haruka once more as she faced Momo again. "It's because you want out of the engagement with Todoroki!"

"Of course I do! I don't love him!" shot Momo as she stood up and clenched her hands into fists while they stayed hanging beside her. "And I…"

"You see! She admits it!" growled Haruka, with Kenji's eyes widening over Momo's admission. He didn't know that she wanted out now. Haruka stood up now and pointed at Momo again. "You agreed to this! You even said Shoto was handsome! Powerful! And now you want to back out of it! For what?! For some random guy who happened to save you? How could you even think about choosing some plain looking, common birth piece of trash who couldn't even hold his own against me when I asked him some simple questions?! And now he's supposedly so strong he can fight on All Might's level?! I don't think so!"

Momo took in a sharp breath at that. She remembered how Kyoka Jirou told her on the first day of UA what her mother did to Izuku Midoriya. Momo never did confront her mother about it. She was too scared to find out the truth and even if she wanted to know, she didn't know how to go about it. But for her mother to admit it so casually as if it was nothing, made Momo become filled with anger.

And her anger made her ask the questions she's wanted to ask. "So you did meet Izuku Midoriya! And you didn't tell me! Why?! And why did you treat him so horribly?!" asked Momo.

Haruka gave Momo a condescending look. "It's my job as your mother to protect you from bad people and even from yourself if need be! Because I knew if you met that good for nothing commoner, then you'd become even more lost by chasing after an unworthy piece of trash! But it looks like my efforts were in vain because you're still hung up over that worthless nobody!"

"HE'S NOT WORTHLESS!" screamed Momo all of a sudden, startling both of her parents. She took advantage of their silence and continued. "He saved my life and everyone else's! He's powerful and caring! He sacrificed himself for us! For me! And he's got more marriage potential than Todoroki who doesn't seem to care about me at all! I want to pursue Midoriya, not…"

"YOU WILL NOT!" shrieked Haruka suddenly that stopped Momo and made her jump, startled from her high pitched yelling. "I don't care if I have to drag you to their house, you will marry Todoroki and that's final!"

"ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH!" Before either of them could continue, Kenji stood up and got their attention after speaking loudly. Both wife and daughter turned to look at him and he continued. "I don't want to hear another word about this!"

"Kenji, you have to see…"

"But Father, I…"

"I said no more!" snapped Kenji angrily. Haruka and Momo went silent with expressions of fear and shock plastered on both of their faces. "Both of you have spoken enough! It's time for me to speak."

Taking in a breath, Kenji exhaled it out before turning towards his daughter. "Momo, whatever your doubts are, you didn't have them until this Midoriya entered the picture. I agree with your mother on this. You have allowed your horrible experience to affect you and now you want to break your word. That is unacceptable. One of the first things we taught you was that a Yaoyorozu keeps their word no matter what. You agreed to the marriage and you will stick to it. Barring life endangerment to you or adultery committed by the other party, you will keep your and our family's honor intact by keeping your agreement to get married to Shoto Todoroki. Otherwise, there will be heavy consequences."

Momo felt her heart drop into her stomach over her father's words. The logical part of her understood what he was saying and couldn't blame him. However, the emotional side, the one with her heart set on getting closer to her savior, was causing a whirlwind of feelings to fill her. She wanted to fight back, to rage at them. But she knew that it was a lost cause now with even her father siding with her mother. Because of that, she remained silent and still while somehow not collapsing right then and there.

Seeing his daughter not arguing back, Kenji then turned towards his wife. "Haruka, I understand that you were trying to protect our daughter and keep her from going down the wrong path. However, the way you went about it was wrong. You should've never kept Momo from seeing that boy."

Haruka opened her mouth to argue when Kenji raised his hand and signaled her to stop and she remained silent. "I say that because one needs closure in order to move on and she never got that. Especially after such a tragic ordeal. And you pushing her to just get over her traumatic experience wasn't necessary nor did it help. We still had and have plenty of time to keep the agreement between us and Endeavor so there was no need."

Haruka couldn't counter his viewpoints at all since she knew he was right. Unable to say anything, she could only look away from him with slight shame.

Seeing the two pacified, Kenji still felt a little angry and some frustration too. But above all, he was very disappointed with them both. He loved the two of them the most in the world but he was appalled over their behavior. Shaking his head, he let out another sigh. "Now, I don't want to hear another word about this. It's getting late and we should head to bed. But first…" He turned towards his daughter once more. "Momo, you may feel that we don't care about you, but we do. We are grateful that you're safe and sound at home. We'll come up with a proper way for you to show your gratitude to this savior of yours and say goodbye. Until then, I must request that you stay away from him. Goodnight."

Knowing it would be pointless to continue and that she had no options once again, Momo hung her head. She shook for a moment before whirling around and ran to her room while tears flowed down her cheeks. I don't want to stay away from Midoriya…and I don't want to say goodbye either…why can't you stop this? Don't my feelings matter at all? Why can't I follow my heart? Why can't you see his worth?

Watching his daughter leave like that with a heavy heart, Kenji shook his head before her turned to Haruka. "I will join you later. For now, leave me be."

Understanding that she was dismissed and knowing that her husband was barely holding in his frustration and probable anger, Haruka didn't argue. "Very well, dear. I'll see you in bed."

Looking at his wife leaving for a second, Kenji then faced forward before he sat back down onto the couch. Leaning back while lowering his gaze a bit, he raised his right hand and massaged his forehead with his thumb and index finger. Many thoughts went through his head as he tried to remain calm and come up with a plan to deal with everything. But unfortunately for Kenji Yaoyorozu, he was unable to get any headway. It was near midnight when he finally decided to go to bed and think about this later.

It's been said that the universe was filled with outstanding and amazing things. From the billions of galaxies to the countless stars, the incredible vastness of space and what it contained had always been a source of wonder for Ochaco Uraraka. Having been interested in it since she was a little girl, Ochaco loved anything and everything that dealt with space. It was a no brainer that she would inevitably have the space themed rescue hero, Thirteen, become her all time favorite hero.

That was the biggest reason why Ochaco had decided to go with Thirteen when the pro was taken to the hospital to be treated for her wounds. After letting UA and the authorities know of her situation, how she was living on her own until the dorms opened up and her parents lived and worked far away, they decided it was alright. Especially when Thirteen was conscious enough to agree with it.

And so, Ochaco had gone with her favorite hero. When they arrived at the hospital, which also doubled as a psychiatric ward for part of its facilities, she had to get special permission to enter the hospital since it was the one specifically reserved for pro heroes, their families and VIPs only. Luckily for her, Nezu had contacted the hospital in advance and informed them of her arrival and so the process didn't take long. Once approved, they led her to the waiting lobby and told her that they'd let her know once she could go stay with Thirteen.

While she waited, Ochaco tried to keep herself busy. However, there wasn't much to do since the TV was on a channel showing a series that she didn't care for and there was nothing to do in the waiting room. She didn't have her phone with her either since it was left at UA. And she was still in her hero costume since the EMTs told her that they couldn't wait for her to get changed. And so, Ochaco tried to not stare at the clock hanging on one of the walls while many thoughts entered her head. And many of those thoughts consisted of a certain green haired young man…

It took almost three hours before she was finally given an update and then allowed to go to Thirteen's room about thirty minutes later. Finding her favorite hero without her costume or helmet while lying on a hospital bed while covered in bandages should've made Ochaco feel horrible. But she couldn't help but feel a little better after seeing her awake and doing well. Well, as well as one could be doing after getting their entire back torn up by their own quirk. But things looked good since Thirteen was able to converse with Ochaco and the two hit things off. Not surprising since they were fans of similar subjects.

After talking for a while together, Thirteen gave a small smile as she looked at her student. "Thank you Uraraka."

"Huh? Why are you thanking me?" asked Ochaco with a tilt of her head.

"For helping me at the USJ and for being here with me. It means a lot to me," she said.

"Oh!" Ochaco smiled a little while rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. "It wasn't just me but it's no problem and you're welcome Thirteen."

"Anan. You may call me by name. Anan Kurose," interjected Anan.

Her mouth dropped open a little before Ochaco practically beamed. "Okay! And call me Ochaco!"

Anan smiled and gave a slight nod. She couldn't move much since she was on her stomach and was told not to move around too much. "Alright. And I know it wasn't just you who bandaged me up. But I wanted to let you know." It was at that point that Anan felt the drugs kicking in. "I'm sorry to say, but I'm feeling sleepy. But what about you? Will you be comfortable?"

"That's fine. The nurse told me that there's a pillow and blanket in the window couch compartment." She said that that while heading towards it. After opening it, Ochaco found the items and pulled them out. Taking off her costume's boots and gauntlets, she placed them on the floor against the couch and lied down on her side with her head resting on the pillow. "If you need something, let me know, okay?"

"I will. Goodnight Ochaco."

"Goodnight Anan." Getting as comfortable as she could on the couch, Ochaco then closed her eyes. As she waited for sleep to come, she thought about everything that happened that day. She was glad that no one died but also felt horrible over what happened to some of her classmates and teachers. And she felt especially awful over what happened to Izuku Midoriya. Right before sleep overtook her, Ochaco hoped that she wouldn't have any nightmares.

Unfortunately for her, she did have one. It was late, passed three in the morning when Ochaco started tossing and turning. Making slight whimpers, it wasn't loud enough to wake Anan as she suffered through her nightmare.

After a few more minutes, the brunette abruptly woke up. Snapping her eyes open as she sat up, she felt like she was drowning. Her heart was hammering and she was holding her hands against her chest as if that would've helped her. Images flashed through her mind's eye and her breathing kept getting more and more erratic.

"Hey, are you alright?!"

A new voice sounded out in the room that Ochaco never heard before and that made her react. Moving her gaze to them with a wide eyed look, she found one of the doctors of the hospital right next to her on one knee and giving her a look of concern. Ochaco didn't even notice her enter the room and get closer to her at all.

Seeing how the girl was panic stricken, the doctor tried to help her out as she spoke calmly and in a low voice to not wake up the other inhabitant of the room. "Hey, it's alright. I'm not gonna hurt you. Just breathe with me okay? Inhale and then exhale slowly. C'mon. Inhale. There you go. And then exhale. Good, good. Keep going." As the doctor led the brunette with the breathing exercises, they noticed how she was calming down.

When Ochaco finally did calm down, she did the breathing exercise one more time before closing her eyes. Placing her hands down on her lap, she then opened her eyes and looked at the doctor. "Thank you. Um…"

"My name is Dr. Natasha Dobrev. But you can just call me Dr. Dobrev. Or better yet, Natasha, since I feel old and ugly sometimes when I'm called Dr. Dobrev," she said in a friendly tone.

Ochaco was surprised that this woman would think of herself as old and ugly. Especially with her long crimson red hair, bright red pupils, fair skin and she looked to be in great shape with noticeable curves. She looked like she was in her mid to late twenties at most. Confused over that but deciding not to say anything, the first year student nodded before responding back. "Thank you Natasha. My name is Ochaco Uraraka. You can call me Ochaco."

"Nice to meet you Ochaco." Natasha stood up and walked over to the machine that were monitoring Anan's vitals. "So, I take it you saw a bad dream?" she asked while continuing to speak in a low voice.

Ochaco looked down at her lap and hands. "Yeah. It was…it was really bad."

"I see." Natasha checked some charts and graphs on the monitors before moving towards the IV bags that were hanging nearby. "Did you want to talk about it?"

"I…I don't know…"

Finishing with her checks, Natasha found things to be satisfactory. Nodding to herself, she turned to face the brunette. "I see. Well, I'm due for a break. How about you join me for some hot chocolate?"

Ochaco glanced at the doctor over her offer. "You sure?" she asked and Natasha nodded. "Okay. Let me just put on my boots."

She was about to reach for her costume's boots after swinging her legs over when a pair of slip on shoes were dropped next to her boots. Looking up, Ochaco found Natasha giving an expectant look. "I bet those would be more comfortable. And quieter."

Understanding her, Ochaco nodded and reached for the slip on shoes.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Ah, okay. Yeah, that does sound awful. I'd probably wake up in the same state you did," commented Natasha before taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

"So you don't think I was overreacting then?" asked Ochaco while holding her cup with both hands but her pinkies was extended.

After going together to the cafeteria, Natasha got both of them some hot chocolate and they sat opposite each other in one of the booths. After some prodding from Natasha, Ochaco told her about her nightmare. It was about what happened to her and her friends at the USJ but with the terrible events cranked up to become much worse.

"No, not at all. I've been informed about what happened at the USJ. You're a brave one Ochaco. Others would've broken down completely by now. Trust me, I know," remarked Natasha kindly.

"Thanks Natasha," replied Ochaco quietly.

"Is there anything else you want to get off your chest?"

"Not to be rude or anything, but why are you trying to help me so much? Don't you have more important people to help or take care of?" asked Ochaco as kindly as she could.

"Oh wow, implying that I'm not doing my job. I've been hurt before but you cut me deep Ochaco," responded Natasha with a mock hurt expression.

"N-No, I…"

"I'm just messing with you," interjected Natasha with a chuckle and Ochaco pouted. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Anyway, I'm actually one of the head doctors here. Like I said before, I'm taking a break. And if I'm needed, they'll page me. I take care of critical care patients with their physical and mental problems."

"Oh…so you're a psychiatrist as well?!" Ochaco was impressed and stunned over that. "Aren't you a little young?" she asked.

"Ah, thank you! You're so kind. Just like a couple other people I know." Natasha took another sip. "I skipped a few grades when I was younger. Ended up in college earlier than most and I always wanted to help people. Plus, my quirk is great for calming down people so here I am."

"Whoa, you're pretty awesome!" complimented Ochaco.

"Thanks but nice try," said Natasha, receiving a confused look from the brunette. "I haven't forgotten my question. So, anything else you want to get off your chest?" she asked again.

Looking down at her hot chocolate, Ochaco's already pink cheeks turned redder as she thought about a certain green haired young man. "Well…um…I don't know how to say this…but there's this…person…"

"You mean a boy," corrected Natasha.

Looking up, Ochaco found the smirk on Natasha's face. Her face reddened more but she huffed out some air before continuing. "Okay, so there's this…boy…who saved my life. Twice. Once at the UA entrance exam and again at the USJ a couple times. Wait, I guess that makes it three times..."

"Oh wow, really?" asked Natasha, intrigued over what she heard.

"Yeah," confirmed Ochaco. Looking down again towards her cup, Ochaco was able to continue. "The first time he helped me, he hurt his arm but didn't even think twice about it and checked on me instead. And at the USJ, he saved me and helped me patch up Thirteen. He even helped everyone else and then saved everyone else, me included but ended up getting really hurt. Part of my nightmare was seeing him get killed by the villains and I just…"

Ochaco couldn't continue as her eyes filled with water before letting out some tears. She hurriedly wiped them away while not looking at Natasha. If she did, she would've seen the shocked look on her.

Natasha had a very good idea of who she was talking about but wanted to make sure. "I…see. He sounds like a pretty amazing person. Can you describe how he looks?" she asked.

Ochaco nodded as she finished wiping her tears. "He has greenish black hair with green eyes. And he has these freckles that look like diamonds on his cheeks if you connected the dots. And he's name is…"

"Izuku Midoriya," finished Natasha for her.

Ochaco looked up with an astonished expression on her face towards Natasha. "W-What?! How…How do you…"

Natasha let out a sigh before locking her gaze with Ochaco's. "Because he's my patient. At this hospital."

"What?!" yelped Ochaco.

"Hey, calm down, not too loud," chastised Natasha.

Controlling herself, Ochaco bowed her head. "I'm sorry!" Raising her gaze after a moment, Ochaco gave a confused look at her new friend. "But, how is he here when this place is for pro heroes, their families and VIPs?"

"Principal Nezu pulled some strings," answered Natasha as she looked to the side. It was party true but no need to get into the details about her sessions with Izuku. Or the other stuff…

"I see..." Ochaco bit her lower lip as a sudden desire filled her. A moment later, she just burst out a request; "Please let me see him!"

Natasha grimaced as she kept her gaze to the side. "I don't know…"

"Please! I have to see him! He's saved me without ever asking for anything in return! He sacrificed himself for me and my classmates! Please! I want to see him and do whatever I can to help him!"

"What about Thirteen? I thought you wanted to be by her side?" asked Natasha as she turned to face her with a questioning gaze.

Ochaco's eyes widened and she fidgeted in her seat while looking at her lap again. "Oh…right…um…I…I still want to help her too. And I…well…Midoriya…he saved me and I…"

Understanding her innocent and pure motives, Natasha couldn't help but smile over her behavior. After a few more seconds, Natasha decided she heard enough. "Alright, relax. I'll take you to see him."

"You will?!" said Ochaco with a bright smile on her face and her eyes shined. "Oh, thank you so much Natasha!"

Experiencing a little bit of whiplash over her sudden demeanor change, it took Natasha a moment to snap out of it. "Okay, okay just take it easy. We'll go as soon as we finish our hot chocolate and…"

Ochaco raised her cup and downed the rest of her drink in one gulp. "Okay, let's go!" she said while getting up and throwing away her disposable cup. She turned around and looked at the red haired doctor with an expected look.

Natasha couldn't help but chuckle. She must really like him and she doesn't even know him. Probably doesn't even realize it yet. Once she does get to know him, I'd be shocked if she doesn't fall in love. Wouldn't blame her either though because of who he is. Ah, to be young and in love… Standing up, Natasha walked towards Ochaco and led the way after finishing her drink and throwing away the cup.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It didn't take long for them to get to Izuku's private room but Ochaco felt like it was taking forever. Her anxiety and nerves were all over the place. But she was able to stay composed for the most part thanks to focusing on the fact that she was going to see him again.

When they reached the room, before they entered, Natasha told Ochaco who else was inside the room and asked if she still wanted to go in. Seeing the determined look on her face, Natasha said no more on that. "Okay. Follow me and stay quiet since they're probably asleep," she said and Ochaco nodded. Natasha led the way inside with the UA student following after her.

When they got inside, Ochaco's sight immediately went to the person on the hospital bed. Letting out a quiet gasp, she moved forward, walking passed Natasha and stopped when she was beside the bed. He's really here! But he's…he's…

Ochaco's eyes watered again as she looked at the young man who was unconscious. His arms and legs were in casts and the rest of his body was covered in bandages from head to toe. The only exposed part of him was his face and hair but there was a breathing mask over his nose and mouth. She couldn't believe how hurt he was. Rapid tears started falling down her cheeks.

"Looks bad, doesn't it? His entire body has been broken," informed Natasha quietly after moving to stand beside her and continued speaking. "His quirk is very powerful but if he uses too much, the backlash from it is terrible. This kind of thing is unheard of."

It took a moment for Natasha's words to register to Ochaco. Letting out another gasp that thankfully wasn't loud, she turned her watery gaze towards the doctor. "You mean…he went all out…knowing he'd end up like this?!" she asked in a whisper.

Natasha kept her sight on Izuku as she answered her. "Yes. Izuku Midoriya…is as selfless as they come." A little too much if you ask me though. Turning her head to look at the brunette, the red head found her to be astonished. A small smile formed on the doctor's face. "He's one of a kind. Trust me. I know."

"H-How?" asked Ochaco.

Natasha shook her head. "I'm sorry, but that's between patient and doctor. I can't disclose that to you."

What does she know? Was he a patient of hers before? A moment later she decided to not worry about stuff she couldn't control. Ochaco moved her sight back to Izuku and wiped away her tears. "Even so…what you said…I believe it with all my heart. I've witnessed it. And I've never seen anyone do the things he's done and not ask for anything in return or take up the spotlight. I can't think of anyone like him. Not even All Might…but…how long is he gonna be like this? Can't Recovery Girl help him?" she asked worriedly.

Natasha let out a sigh. "She can, but not yet. He's lost a lot of blood and his body is weak. If Recovery Girl tried to heal him right now, he'd die."

"Wh-"

Natasha quickly covered her mouth to silence her so she wouldn't wake anyone up. "Ssh!" Ochaco nodded and Natasha removed her hand. "Recovery Girl's quirk speeds up the healing process but uses the person's stamina up. Since he's pretty much drained, we have to wait for a bit until she can use her quirk on him."

"Oh…" Ochaco understood and looked at Izuku again. "He'll…He'll be okay though…right?"

"Yeah, he will be. He's strong and has an extraordinary will."

Ochaco was about to say something when movement was noticed at Izuku's side. The blanket on him shifted and uncovered what else beneath it. Or to be more accurate, who. "Who…Who's that?" she asked, wondering who the small child was.

"That's Eri," answered Natasha. "All I know is that she's part of his family." Not my place to say more…

"Oh." So he has a little sister? She's very cute and it's adorable how close she seems to be with him. "I see." Reaching towards the blanket, Ochaco picked it up and placed it over Eri's shoulder. It was then that she noticed someone else and looked towards them.

A green haired woman was lying down the couch and covered with a blanket as she slept. Just like Ochaco had been doing in Anan's room. "Is she his mother?" asked Ochaco.

"Yes," confirmed Natasha. "One of the kindest persons I've ever met too. But don't let that fool you. She'll defend her family to her last breath if need be."

Ochaco nodded. Her parents were like that too. Looking back at the unconscious Izuku, Ochaco was feeling several different emotions and had many thoughts go through her head. But one thing was for sure; she didn't want to leave his side at all. "Natasha…can I stay here please? At least for a little while longer?" she asked.

Glancing at Ochaco, whose gaze was locked onto Izuku's, Natasha noticed the look on her face. So I was right on the money. I wonder, if Ibara falls for him too with how she was talking about him, what will happen? Natasha pushed that thought away for the moment. She stepped away and opened a nearby closet. Pulling out a foldable cushioned chair, she brought it to Ochaco. "Here, take it."

Turning towards Natasha, Ochaco noticed the chair and took it. "Thanks. Really."

"You're welcome. If you didn't already understand, you can stay. Just don't make me regret it, okay?" asked Natasha.

"I won't. I promise."

"Good." Natasha started walking towards the door. "See ya around. Gotta go continue my rounds." Stopping when she placed her hand on the doorknob, Natasha glanced back. "Oh, and Ochaco?" She waited until the brunette looked at her before continuing. "Good luck." Seeing the confused expression on her face, Natasha merely grinned and left the room.

Ochaco tilted her head. What did she mean by 'good luck'? Unable to figure it out, Ochaco decided to forget about it. Placing the chair beside Izuku's bed, she sat down and looked at him. After some time, she glanced at the little girl to make sure she was still covered. Seeing she was alright, Ochaco moved her gaze towards his mother to check on her. She was covered and sleeping soundly. Finding nothing wrong, Ochaco moved her gaze back towards Izuku's face.

In the process of doing so however, Ochaco noticed his hand. It was completely covered in a cast, with even his fingers having their own separate cast wraps. How bad was the backlash of his quirk?! How could he be sleeping? Thinking for a bit, she realized it had to be because of a lot of pain relieving drugs that he was able to sleep.

After coming to that conclusion, Ochaco reached for his cast covered hand. But then she remembered her quirk and stopped. That was close! What am I thinking? Glancing at Izuku again, Ochaco felt a weird but pleasant feeling fill her. Screw it! I should be careful though. There should be some gloves here right? Looking around, she found several boxes of disposable gloves on the counter behind her. Getting up, she went to it, took out a couple gloves in her size and put them on. Going back to her seat, she sat down and reached for his hand once more.

Placing her hand gently on top of his casted one, Ochaco felt her heart skip a beat as her cheeks reddened. Slowly moving her gaze towards his, Ochaco thought about the things Izuku did. What he did for her and in front of her. What he did for her friends. And what others said he did for them.

She didn't know how long she just sat there and looked at him while thinking about all that and holding his hand. But she didn't care because it led to a revelation for her. Ochaco realized that her admiration, respect and feelings had grown exponentially for him…for Izuku Midoriya. When she finally understood what that meant, a heavy blush appeared on her face but she stayed in her position with her hand still holding his.

It was only when she was starting to feel tired that Ochaco decided that she should get some sleep soon. Quietly scooting closer to the bed, she lowered her head onto an empty area on the side of the bed while facing him. She did switch hands as well so she'd be more comfortable. I should go back to Thirteen's room so I can sleep comfortably. But I don't want to leave just yet. I'll go back in a little bit...

Even though she knew she should head back already, Ochaco didn't leave. Instead, she kept thinking while staying in her position and looking at the sleeping person who caught her heart. She thought about Izuku. What he did for her. What she could do for him. How she wanted the two of them to get to know each other better. How she hoped that she'd never see him in such a state ever again. And how she hoped that perhaps they could be more than just friends…

While thinking about all of that, Ochaco fell asleep and didn't move from her spot all throughout the night. And even though she would feel very sore in the morning thanks to her rather awkward sleeping position, Ochaco wouldn't complain about that since she had much nicer dreams that night. They were such good dreams, that she'd end up not minding the embarrassing situation that happened in the morning either…

Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi was leaning over with his head held within his hands while propped up on the desk with his elbows. He was so exhausted that it felt like he could just fall asleep like that. But he knew that he couldn't rest. Not yet at least. Even with spending the better part of the last two hours filling out the report at what happened in UA at their USJ facility, he still wasn't done.

Letting out a sigh, he slowly raised his head from his hands and opened his eyes. He had to blink a few times to clear his blurry vision. Glancing at the clock that hung on his wall, he let out a groan. Damn, it's already passed three in the morning? I've been here too long… Moving his gaze back to the report on his desk, Naomasa took in a breath before slowly exhaling it out. Alright, lets organize all the statements given by the students and I'll call it a night for now. It's not like I can finish it now even if I wanted to. Have to wait for the others to get better before getting their statements too…

After thinking that thought, Naomasa raised his gaze towards the ceiling. He remembered how one of his closest friends was both furious and sullen beyond measure. He had never seen him like that before. But he couldn't blame him because of what happened to his protégé. Remembering how Midoriya looked in the hospital room made even Naomasa feel horrible as he shuddered over his injuries. But he was glad to hear that he'd make a full recovery thanks to Toshi's quick thinking and taking him directly to the closest hospital along. Recovery Girl even let them know that she can heal him but he needed to rest first. He just hoped that his friend wouldn't put all the blame on him and not feel guilty over it. It wasn't his fault.

Naomasa shook his head. "Let's just get this done for now," he told himself and went back to work. He finished up doing what he could at the moment. Leaving his computer on and the papers on his desk, he stood up and headed out of his office. I can't wait to go home and sleep. I just hope nothing else comes up for at least a few days.

Naomasa's wish unfortunately wouldn't be coming true. Because after leaving his office, an email arrived to his inbox about fifteen minutes later. The email was sent by none other than Principal Nezu with the subject line stating that he needed his assistance with a certain gathering and a different errand…
