On a truly clear day, the sky stretched endlessly in a beautiful shade of blue. Beneath this magnificent azure sky, a young child suffered brutality. With a kick to the child's stomach, a cry escaped, but soon silence prevailed. Fading consciousness gradually dulled the pain.
"Die, die, die! Because of you, everything is twisted, because you exist…!"
The child hanging was dropped to the ground, and as the golden hair, now stained with blood, met the earth, two men immediately resumed their relentless kicks.
Crack, thud!
The sounds of breaking bones or dislocation merged into an indistinguishable cacophony. Amidst the echoing violence, the child remained silent. In the waning consciousness, even the pain eventually ceased to register.
With the child almost unconscious, the adults continued their merciless assault.
"Because of you! Because of…!"
"It's your fault! You made us go mad!!"
"Give us back our families! Because of you, everything went mad!"
Is it really their fault? Amidst the unrelenting violence, the child murmured in the fading consciousness. Did their presence drive the adults insane? Did they truly cause this madness?
"…Did I…?"
When the adults briefly paused their assault, the child, feeling a slight recovery, gazed up with eyes reminiscent of the vast sky and whispered. Is it because they were born?
The adults erupted in rage at the words.
"We don't need to ask!! It's obviously your fault!"
"That's right!! It's all because of you!"
"This monster fox!!"
Upon hearing the last words, the child relinquished consciousness.
