I own neither One Piece or Naruto, but so much excitement for the upcoming year everyone!
Light came from the opening in the ceiling of the cave that Luffy had just fallen through. In front of him was a large amount of treasure buried long ago by the occupants of the island he was currently training on. His face broke into a great big smile, his eyes sparkling as he looked over just how much was there. He started to sort through piles of treasure, commenting on everything he found. He was jumping around with joy, wouldn't Rayleigh be surprised when they met again. He looked up, seeing something familiar fall from the hole. He saw his straw hat, he silently pouted as he saw that his fall had disturbed his treasures' perch. He picked it up and planted it on his head, his smile softened a fraction reminding himself of the reason that brought him so close to his treasures resting spot.
Flash Back
After Rayleigh left him, after training him in Haki for only a year and a half, he made it a routine of going to his hat to pray that his friends were getting stronger and to reconfirm his determination. On one of his excursions to the spot he had kneeled down and tripped slamming his head down cracking the ground in which preceded to fall out from beneath him. He landed in the cave full of piles of treasure.
Luffy meandered through the treasure looking for anything absolutely spectacular, for each of his crewmates as gifts when they all reunited. He decided he would bring back all of it when he returned but he wanted something special for his crewmates, smiling to him self as he walked further into the cave he stopped when he saw a black box covered in red symbols he didn't understand. He walked up to it picking it up. He tried to open it but was unable to, it seemed to resist him trying to open it. He put it down on the ground frustrated that it wouldn't open. He brought back is arm and punched it hard. The ground underneath the box spider webbed creating a small crater underneath the box, for the box itself was unharmed. Confused he punched it again watching as the power from the hit simply was transferred to the ground. Getting angry, he activated his Haki covering his hand in armament Haki and brought it down on the black box. There was a brief flash of light. When the light faded away the black box was cracked the markings were gone. Luffy smiled wide and opened the box to find a black and red scroll with intricate designs lying on black velvet. Interested he picked it up, and opened in out as wide as he could. Unseen by Luffy, he cut himself on a small blade placed on the inside of the scroll. His blood covered the characters as he opened the scroll, the characters lit up as he held the open scroll above his head. The letters glowed before a light flashed, and the room was left empty, the scroll fell onto the ground the characters light faded back to black. Luffy was gone.
Luffy woke up surrounded by unfamiliar forest. He looked around the air smelled damp like a forest should, but what he notice was odd there was no scent of the sea. He cocked his head wondering why there was no smell of the ocean. Leaving the matter for a later time he smiled, his face relaxed, a large smile crossed his face. He thought to himself, 'This will be a fun adventure.'
Shikamaru walked around the grazing deer, his father was gathering shavings off the antlers and adding them to a basket he carried. He sighed he and his father where gathering some medical supplies for the Hokage. To him it was just another day, he sighed leaning up against a tree.
"Shikamaru get back to work." His father yelled over to him.
He moved away from the tree walking over to his father. "Are we done yet?"
His father laughed. "Not until your mother says were done."
He shivered thinking of the punishment for not finishing would be. He sighed again and wondered back to one of the stags in the group pulling out a kunai and shaving some of the antler off, and placing into his basket. He looked into his basket a few different types of herbs, bark, and an assortment of mushrooms and a few antler shavings were in it. He looked around bored at such a simple task. He noticed that one of the stags was looking around, nothing unusual for a deer to be scoping out its surroundings. But it was how stiff the stag stood, that caught his attention. It stood stock still before it bolted into the trees, leaving the group of deer behind none of which reacted the same way. Shikamaru looked towards his father who also had seen the stag's sudden departure and the group's lack of response. They both followed after the stag as it ran. It wasn't long before it was leaving the Nara clans forest behind. Father and son glanced at each other confused the deer that the Nara's care for almost never leave their forest. They continued following the stag as it ran towards some unknown destination. Eventually they came into a large clearing sitting at the center was a person. He wore an open red vest, black jeans and a straw hat. Both shinobi stopped at the edge of the clearing watching as the Stag walked up to the unknown person. The boy turned around a large grin on his face, and a small scar under left eye. Both Nara's looked at each other there was a reason that the Nara clan had a large forest that only they were allowed into. The deer of the forest as well as the other animals would attack or never approach those not of the Nara clan, even then it was known not to antagonize the animals even if you were a Nara. But here one of those deer was approaching a complete stranger. They turned to watch this strange interaction between this stranger and the stag.
Luffy looked up seeing the deer approach. His eyes lit up as a playful smile spread on his face. 'Whoa such a large deer' he thought his eyes sparkling. His grin turned to angry scowl when the deer stole his hat off his head. "Hey you stupid deer give me back my treasure. The deer playfully ran away to a safer distant from the ebony haired individual.
The two watched amused as he chased the deer around the clearing, Shikamaru looked up when his father let out a deep chuckle. "It seems we ran across a rather odd individual." His father said a small smile on his lips. He sighed, tired of this stupid stranger who let a deer easily grab his so called "treasure". He looked up seeing the young man staring at them. 'When did he notice us?' Shikamaru thought as both shinobi jumped down and walked into the clearing. His father was first to speak.
"Who are you, where have you come from, what brings you to the Village hidden in the leafs?" The taller of the two men who were now approaching Luffy asked. He had some scars on his face of the two he looked the older. Both looked really similar.
"Hi, are you two brothers?" The stranger asked.
"No, we're father and son. So where did you come from. What's your name?"
"Really, then you're pretty old." Luffy said laughing. "The name's Monkey D. Luffy, I'm going to be King of the Pirates." A large grin plastered on his face as he bumped his chest at the statement.
Shikamaru gave a short laugh at the old part, gaining a glare from his father. But his mind spun a little when the stranger said Pirate. 'King of the pirates? This guy must be pretty stupid if such a skinny guy thought he was a pirate.'
Shikaku put on a straight face when Luffy claimed to be a pirate. "What's a Pirate doing all the way in the land of Fire?"
"Where's that, last I knew I was on an island in the calm belt." Luffy said, trying again to catch the deer with his straw hat only to have it dance away. It almost seemed that it was mocking the boy.
"What's a calm belt?" Shikaku asked.
Luffy looked up with a small look of shock on his face. His face scrunched up in concentration as steam comically came out of his ears. "Um, on the Grand line which is dotted with islands… Ummmmmmmm there's a mystery sea that surrounds it that has no currents or wind caused by mystery weather stuff, I think that's what Nami and Robin told me." Luffy cocked his head as he worked his brain to remember the correct information.
Shikaku nodded his head absorbing the information. He's never heard of the Grand line or this calm belt. "How did you get here?" He saw Shikamaru look up, as he understood the implication of the question.
Luffy stared at the two for a little while, steam coming out of ears until he began to excitedly tell how it happened. "Well I found this black box covered in mystery writings, though first I fell into a mystery cave full of treasure. My hat also fell because I broke the ground with my head. Well anyway I broke the mystery box because it wouldn't open. Inside it was a mystery scroll that I opened and it caused a mystery light and I woke up here. It was strange because I can no longer smell the ocean." He gave them both a large smile.
Both shinobi sweat dropped at Luffy's odd understanding of his situation. It was then that Luffy bolted after the Stag as it ran away from the clearing. Both were left there for a second, until both quickly followed after. "He's heading towards the village, we best stop him before he causes undo trouble" Shikaku yelled to Shikamaru. "I'll go tell Hokage-sama about this, keep following him and try to keep him out of trouble." With that Shikaku jumped in a different direction to inform the Hokage. Shikamaru sighed but sped up to keep up with the deer and the stranger.
Luffy kept up with the deer but it would jump around avoiding his attempts to retrieve his hat. Twice he ran into a tree thinking he was close enough to grab his hat. He burst out of the woods. In front of him was a large wall and gates. Luffy skidded to a stop, his eyes sparkling. "So cool!" He yelled out.
The gate guards looked up seeing a strange sight, an oddly dressed stranger with starry eyes was screaming about how cool their village looked and a stag was dancing around him holding a straw hat in its mouth. The stag ran through the gates and stood a couple of meters away from the gate entrance, almost challenging the stranger to try to enter.
Both of the guards jumped in front of Luffy as he made his way forward. They didn't know who Luffy was but until they had him tell them who he was he couldn't just enter the village. "Stop, you can't just enter the village." One of the guards said tossing a kunai at Luffy's feet making him hop back.
"Hey, don't get in my way, that stupid deer stole my hat." Luffy yelled back trying to run past the guards. Both pulled out kunai, and swiped at Luffy forcing him back again. Luffy put up a fighting stance. Again they came at him, Luffy easily dodge them using his observation Haki. He dodged another swipe from each of them before kicking them both back towards the gate.
Both dropped back staring at him strangely, a glance passed between them. Whoever this stranger was, he was strong, they set themselves up. Together they both performed hand signals, "Katon/Futon Great Wind Fire ball jutsu!" Both yelled together as they sent a large fireball towards Luffy.
Luffy jumped to the side dodging it, his eyes became starry eyed. "That's so cool, how'd you guys do that?" Luffy was literally jumping up and down with excitement. "Hey do you guys want to join my crew?" He asked with a large grin on his face. Both men comically yelled back "NO!"
Shikamaru jumped down next to the two gate guards, "Hey what's going on?" He had seen the giant fireball. "Did he do something?" Pointing at Luffy. Both men looked at him. One of the guards answered him. "Yes, he tried to enter the village, he fought back when we tried to question him, we were just doing our jobs. Shikamaru, who is this?" The guards looked to Shikamaru. Shikamaru just nodded his head, seeing the deer standing beyond the gate he guessed that Luffy had tried to follow the deer into the village without introducing himself to the guards. "He's a pirate that we found in the forest." He kept his eyes on Luffy, as the two guards' eyes widened in surprise. "Luffy, let's go to the Hokage." Shikamaru yelled to Luffy.
Luffy looked at Shikamaru for a long second. "I can't, not until I get my hat back." Stating like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
It was then some more shinobi arrived, seeing the fireball sent off by the gate guards. Kakashi, Sakura, Rock Lee, Neji and Tenten arrived next to Shikamaru and the guards.
"Shikamaru, what's wrong?" Kakashi asked, eyeing Luffy up and down.
"We are here to help!" Rock Lee giving a thumbs up to Shikamaru.
"This guy has a weird aura to him. He doesn't have any chakra channels but the aura seems really similar." Neji commented,his bakyugan activated.
"No, chakra? How's that possible?" Asked a blushing Tenten. 'Hey this guys got a pretty hot body' looking at Luffy's chiseled torso.
"Hey Shikamaru what's the deal?" Sakura asked a small blush on her face as well her thoughts similar to Tenten.
Luffy looked at the new arrivals, again starry eyed at their cool appearances. "Dude, is that really your hair color? Wow you have such huge eyebrows! What with your eyes, that's so cool. Hey, do you guys want to join my crew." He yelled out waving his hands in excitement.
Kakashi turned to Shikamaru, "Crew?"
"He says he's a pirate, and he's trying to enter the village to retrieve his hat from that deer." Shikamaru said, summing up the situation for those present.
"Well we can't just let him into the village. There are procedures and decorum." Said one of the guards.
"Agreed, we'll capture him and bring him to the Hokage." Kakashi stated, something about Luffy was off, and it wasn't that he didn't have any chakra coils. It was a feeling that he didn't understand. "Will you come in peacefully, or will we have to force you to come?" Kakashi asked Luffy.
"Sure but only after I get my hat back." Luffy started to walk towards the gates once again.
Kakashi sighed; this guy was similar to Naruto. "You can't enter the village, we don't know who you are and if you're dangerous or not. Attempting to enter the village in a hostile manner is reason enough for us to detain you. "
Luffy smiled. "I'm Luffy, I'm only dangerous to those that attack me or my nakama and those that touch my hat." Luffy smiled like that should clear up any problems.
Shikamaru sighed. "Luffy-san, please just allow us to escort you to the Hokage."
From the corner of his eye he saw the Stag walking away. 'How troublesome.' He thought, as he turned around already guessing what the odd pirate was going to do next.
"Hey you stupid deer, give me back my hat." Luffy tried again to rush past the waiting shinobi. Rock Lee was the first to move, sending a powerful kick towards Luffy. Luffy simply ducked down, but just at the last moment. He passed Rock lee so quickly that everyone was surprised. Tenten and Sakura sent a wave of kunai and shuriken towards Luffy, who danced through them, pushing both Sakura and Tenten back before grabbing a leg from behind sent by Rock Lee, who had again sent a powerful kick towards Luffy. He also caught the wrist of Neji as he tried to use his gentle fist. He threw both of them towards Tenten and Kakashi, who were readying themselves to attack. Luffy was forced to jump back when the two gate guards who had summoned large blades tried to swipe at him. Luffy stiffened when he noticed a long shadow extending from Shikamaru.
Luffy was frozen for a brief moment before he began to struggle against the invisible control, the long shadow snaking back to Shikamaru.
"I got him, but shit." Shikamaru cursed as his jutsu was dispelled, losing his hold over Luffy. "He's too strong and I can't hold him." The others looked shocked at Shikamaru's inability to hold down this stranger. Luffy moved his body around making sure he could move again before jumping forward. The shinobi heard him mumbling about stupid radishes and stupid shadow users. Kakashi was pushed aside as Luffy once again tried to get through the gates. 'He isn't trying to hurt us but is focused on getting his hat.' He looked at the young man who had backed off after Sakura and Lee attacked together, splintering the ground where they hit it.
Luffy smiled as he looked at these unknown people. They were strong, they made the perfect people to test his Haki, since the animals on the island were powerful, they weren't like experienced fighters who could adapt to different situations. He thought he would enjoy himself here, they were such interesting people. He took a stance preparing himself to get into gear second.
Shikamaru was feeling a strange tingle on the back of his neck, something about Luffy's change in demeanor screamed dangerous. Neji had gone into attack, when Luffy threw out his arm.
Luffy smiled, "I'm sorry guys but I don't have time to play I need to get my hat." They watched as they saw his arm bloat for a brief second, as his blood was pumped from his arm and his body started to steam. He was gone only to be stopped by Rock Lee and Kakashi who had exposed his sharingan. "Dude, your eye is so cool." Was all Luffy said before he caught Lee, who had thrown a powerful punch, and threw him at Kakashi. He once again moved to run after the deer.
Shikamaru and the others watched as Lee took off his weights getting serious against Luffy to prevent him from getting away. They watched as Luffy, Kakashi, and Lee disappeared for a second to appear just in front of the gate, they all watched as Luffy tossed Lee aside into Kakashi and ran into the village. Kakashi looked over at Shikamaru. "You mind filling us in?" Shikamaru sighed. "My father and I found him while following that deer from our clan compound area. Come on I'll fill you in the rest as we follow him." The guards went back to their post, now that a jonin like Kakashi had taken charge they could let the apprehension of the stranger go to the rest of the people.
"Hokage-sama." Shikaku came into the room. "We found an unknown man outside of the village."
Tsunade looked up from her paper work. "Whose this stranger you found, where is he?" Looking behind Shikaku to see if he was waiting outside.
Shikaku shook his head. "No I wasn't able to bring him here, he was chasing a Nara stag that had stolen something of his and we couldn't deter him from chasing it. He says he's a pirate, name of Monkey D. Luffy, he threw out some terms that seemed strange, he's definitely not like a normal folk from the elemental nations."
Tsunade looked up at the last part. "Do you know where he did come from?"
Shikaku just shook his head. "I left Shikamaru to keep an eye on him. So hopefully he doesn't get into too much trouble. Though he seems to be a troublemaker on par to Naruto."
Tsunade let out a long sigh and a small smile on her lips. "That doesn't make me happy, one idiot is bad enough two could bring down the village." At that moment a large cloud of smoke sprouted from the center of the village. "Damn, let me guess our guest."
Shikaku shrugged. "I don't know."
An Anbu came into the room. "Hokage-sama, the village has been invaded by one unknown shinobi. As of yet he has harmed no one yet but he has caused some property damage, and is being followed by quite a few shinobi but so far he has avoided all attempts of capture."
"Send some Anbu to help corner him. Shikaku, he's not being very stealthy" Tsunade said, turning towards the village.
"We have, they have had the same results as all the others, either pushed aside or avoided all together." The Anbu answered.
Shikaku turned to the Anbu, "Help him get his hat back then he might calm down, Tsunade-sama?"
"Do it. Shikaku bring me to this pirate so I might have a talk with him."
"Hah" Both the men said as the Anbu left and Shikaku led Tsunade towards the trail of smoke that identified the intruder's location.
Luffy ran around after losing sight of the deer, so he decided to explore the village. But those he met at the gate and a couple other masked people who the others had probably gotten to help chase him down were making it hard. He was hungry and it was distracting, so he followed the smell of food to a small barbecue meat restaurant.
Seated at a table inside were Asuma, Choji and Ino.
"Damn it where is Shikamaru? He should have been here by now." Ino raged.
Asuma just sweat dropped as Choji stared at the meat. Luffy wandered into the store, meandered up to the tables stealing food here and there until he reached their table. It was then that Choji made his move to pick up all the meat on the grill only to have every single piece he reached for gone before he could grab it. Asuma and Ino stared shocked at Choji's empty plate and the strangers happily filled cheeks. Choji jumped at the strange boy, only to be dodged and the boy quickly fled from the store, with Choji, Ino chasing after him. Asuma was left to pay for the food, flabbergasted at what had happened.
Shikamaru landed next to Ino, and Choji as they ran in the direction that Luffy had run away. "Where have you been?" Ino yelled.
"Well if you haven't noticed there's something big going on with an intruder in the village." Shikamaru said back. "Anyways, what's wrong with Choji?"
Choji was mumbling to himself and held the aura of death. "Some kid walked in and was able to get all the meat before Choji." Ino answered.
Shikamaru sweat dropped, that was one sure fire way to get on Choji's bad side. He brought them up to date on what was going on. "If we want to get him to calm down we're going to need to find his hat. Let's go."
Luffy was running on top on the buildings, when he came across a weird man who reminded him of the bushy brows at the gates. He was doing a handstand and jogging. "Hey Bushy Brow ossan, what are you doing."
Gai looked up. "I'm experiencing the spring time of my youth."
Luffy sweat dropped. "Hey Ossan could you help me get my hat back, a stupid deer ran off with it."
Gai jumped up landing on his feet. He struck a guts pose. "Anything for a youthful spirit such as yourself."
Luffy just put on a large grin. He looked around, spotting the deer up ahead. "There it is Ossan, the one with the hat." Luffy yelled, jumping up and down while pointing towards said deer.
"Ok, watch this youthful spirit do it best." Gai disappeared in a flurry of leaves. Luffy saw him appear behind the deer, then jumping to get at the hat. The deer did a quick switch and kicked Gai. He went down holding his special area. "My, my youth wasn't enough." He fell crying.
Luffy laughed at Gai's misfortune, before again running after the retreating figure of the deer. "Thanks anyway Bushy ossan."
Tenten, Neji and Lee came to a stop after finding their teacher on the ground a few minutes later. "Gai-sensei what happened." Lee yelled out reaching down to help his sensei.
"Deer… Hat…. Spring time of youth." Was all Gai was able to croak out as Lee put him on his back. Neji and Tenten just sighed at his antics. Again they ran off using Neji to follow Luffy through the village.
Naruto was walking around the hot spring area trying to find Jiraiya. He was having little luck, in any of the regular areas that he knew the pervy sage visited. He saw a deer holding a straw hat in its mouth come running down the road, behind it an odd looking raven haired youth. The deer easily ran past him, almost running him over. He got up forgetting about Jiraiya and quickly followed the youth attempting to catch the deer. He was going to cook the deer for almost running him over. The deer ran into one of the bathing houses and the two boys quickly followed. The deer surprised all the ladies bathing as it jumped through the water and over the fence, but what was worse was the two boys who came running after it which greatly angered the women.
Naruto got a nosebleed as he realized what he saw before him. Luffy looked around, before heading after the deer dodging buckets, fist and kicks from the women he had barged in on. Naruto wasn't so lucky as he was caught and beaten into a bloody pulp. The women then turned their anger towards Luffy who broke through the fence, running over Jariaya who had been using the time to write more for his book. The women chasing after Luffy saw Jariaya and beat him up before dressing themselves to go chase Luffy and try to beat him up as well. Unaware of either Naruto and Jariaya's beatings or the fact that the women of the bath were chasing him, he continued his chase after the deer.
Kakashi and Sakura found both Naruto and Jariaya face down on the floor of the bath. After some healing and some explanation they were off after Luffy. Naruto instantly became interested in him and was all the more eager to find him.
Luffy came up to a large forest surrounded by a fence. And up ahead was the Deer on the other side of the fence. Luffy quickly looked for an opening before jumping over and continuing his chase. He chased the deer for a while longer before in one big spurt snatched his hat back and put it back on his head. The Deer quickly left Luffy alone in the forest. Luffy looked around a large smile plastered on his face as he explored this new forest. He thought to himself how much it reminded himself of back home with his brothers.
Tsunade walked up to the fence surrounding the forest of death, behind her stood four Anbu and Shikaku. "Set up a perimeter around the forest, do not enter without permission and allow no one out other than through this gate." The Four Anbu quickly scattered. One by one the chasing shinobi arrived. Tsunade just sighed at each and everyone came to her with complaints about the intruder. Shikaku just chuckled at each and everyone told of odd situations caused by the intruder. Over all except for maybe Gai, Naruto and Jariaya nobody had been hurt. There was still some property damage, but it turned out all from the shinobi trying to catch Luffy.
"Tsunade-sama, it seems that the intruder is simply wandering the forest right now." Neji came up to Tsunade.
"Ah Neji, thank you could you watch him for a while, we will have someone to switch with you in an hour." Tsunade looked into the forest. 'We're going to have to talk to him eventually.' "Shikaku, what do you suggest?"
Shikaku pondered this. "Well Tsunade-sama, after hearing what has happened I feel we should leave him be for now. As long as he doesn't try to do anything we should leave him for tonight. Tomorrow we can send in a group of shinobi to talk to him. I suggest Gai and Kakashi be sent, both are strong enough to match the boy, at least from the stories it sounds like they can. The boy is a huge unknown until we get to know him. We should be careful in how we approach him. I think sending Shikamaru as well since he met with the stranger briefly." Tsunade looked at the forest deep in thought.
"Hey Shikamaru, who is that guy?" Naruto yelled out. Shikamaru simply looked over at him, all of their age group who had been chasing him had gathered into a group and were now discussing their strange guest.
"I met him outside the village, he had his hat stolen by a stag and he went chasing after it and he chased it through the village. He caused quite some trouble didn't he? But other than that I found him to be an idiot on the level of Naruto." Shikamaru intoned looking around at the gathered group.
"Hey."
"Any way, he's not from around here, maybe some sort of messed up summoning by what we understood from his story." Shikamaru looked each of his friends in the eyes. "Until we are told otherwise we are not going to provoke him." His glare focused on Choji and Naruto. Both had been muttering about revenge.
"Hai, Hai." Both said in unison. Eventually smaller conversations broke off as everyone discussed Luffy.
Kakashi walked over to the group, listening in on their bickering. The boys were contemplating on just how strong Luffy was. While the girls were huddled together gossiping on how well built he was. Kakashi sighed, teenagers. He heard Gai murmur something about youth and love. Kakashi looked up when Tsunade walked over to the group. "Kakashi, Gai, Shikamaru pick two people each and come back here tomorrow morning we're going talk to this Monkey D. Luffy and figure out who he is and what he is doing here."
"Tsunade-sama, is it really all right to leave him in there." Sakura asked concerned for the young man, since the forest was filled with dangers.
"It's fine Sakura, instead of adapting to the forest it seems that the forest is having to adapt to him." Neji chimed in with a smug look.
"What do you mean Neji?" Lee asked?
"Well I've been watching him using my bakyugan, since he's entered the forest. After wandering around for a while, he caught and cooked a boar, which brought one of the forests many giant tigers, which he preceded to beat up and tame. After that he's been beating up animals and eating a few of them. It looks like he is enjoying himself." Everyone sweat dropped at this. 'Really' they all thought. "And, right now he is sleeping on its stomach and the tiger looks quite comfortable."
Shikaku started laughing as he walked over to the group. "What an interesting kid. Tsunade-sama the perimeter is set up and a couple people from the Hyuga clan are coming to work in shifts to keep an eye on our guest.
"Good, then Kakashi make sure you come fill me in." Tsunade walked away back towards her piles of paperwork.
Luffy sat on a large sleeping tiger. Other slightly smaller tigers lay about their heavy breathing the only sound. He was staring up at the stars. Where he was it didn't matter as long he could eventually find his way home. Pulling his hat over his eyes Luffy fell asleep.

Tsunade sat at her desk, in front of her stood Shikaku, Kakashi and Gai. Tsunade had called them to get their opinion of Luffy. She listened to the three Jonin as they discussed their mysterious guest.
"I'm more interested about his lack of chakra coils than where he came from." Shikaku said he had been very interested when Kakashi had mentioned he had no chakra center.
"It's interesting but it is not that unusual to see people with strength even without using chakra, like my great student Lee." Gai put in.
"True but it's his odd ability that has me worried, the air around him changed, he started to steam and his speed increased to that of opening one of the lower gates. If not for the Sharigan, I doubt I would have been able to follow him without the use of the gates."
Both Shikaku and Gai gave the statement some thought. "Should we really allow him to roam free?" Gai finally asked.
"I think it would be best not to try to fight him. This mess could have been a lot worse if he had tried to actually hurt anyone."
Kakashi nodded. "Yes he never tried to hurt anyone, he pushed aside anyone who got in the way but he didn't try to hurt anyone."
"What about me?" Jariaya walked into the room.
"You deserved it and you know it." Tsunade retorted, giving the other shinobi a death glare. Jariaya only scratched his head, chuckling.
"So, what have the Anbu reported?" Jariaya asked, looking at the pile of report scrolls covering the desk.
"His vigilance is very high, as soon as any one of them gets close, they feel the need to back off as he seems to zone in on them. Other than him sleeping in the giant tiger's den, he's very familiar with forest, dangerous forest at that."
"Any report of this unfamiliar ability?" Jiraiya sat comfortably against the panoramic window.
"No, not yet." Tsunade brought out a bottle of sake and a cup. Looking at the gathered shinobi. "Tomorrow Kakashi and Guy along with Shikamaru will rendezvous with this, Monkey D. Luffy. Now that he has his Hat if you are able then escort him properly to my office. I'll provide an Anbu unit to meet him and you at Gate 23. Understood."
"Yes Hokage-sama!"
