Moon sighed as she looked at the setting sun from the open patio doors, it was just past 6 and the sun had just started to set. Red, orange, and yellows were mixing and taking over the once bright blue sky it was really quite beautiful. She had always liked sunsets. Not only were they beautiful but it was an end to the day and brought the night. They were a great distraction, that was until they were gone, and everything came crashing back down. "No need to pout." A women's voice from inside the dark house said breaking Moon's train of thought. Moon rolled her eyes and sighed turning her head to look inside, choosing to ignore her as her eyes landing back on the setting sun. "Yeah! No need to pout, this is awesome!" A man's chirpy voice said. Moon took a deep breath as she felt her eye twitch before she appeared in front of him. "It's bad enough we have to move again, but I don't need back talk from the likes of you." She paused as she backed him into the wall, "Maybe I should just eat you… No need to waste a perfectly good meal." She said with a chuckle as her teeth began to show. The man swallowed hard as he tried to look anywhere but at Moon. "Moon"' The women's voice said in a warning tone. Moon looked over at her and rolled her eyes as her teeth started to retract "It's not awesome. You'll come to learn that..." she muttered, before appearing back in front of the patio doors. It was bad enough that Kat had to have something to play with, but did it really have to be Mr. Officer John Bennett. He was so annoying… so normal… And well annoying. If he was this annoying now, she wishes she would have met him when he was human at least then he wouldn't be so annoying, but anyways now because of him they had to leave. Just when Moon was starting to like it around here. Just when things were finally normal and now with nowhere else to go they had to leave. All because he was stupid and didn't know how to cover his tracks, they had to go on the run. Hunters were after them. Hunters. Vampire hunters, and Kat wanted her to be nice. She would tolerate him at best.
Bennett titled his head as he replayed her words in his head. He wanted to ask what it all meant, but Moon didn't really seem to take a liking to him, so he guessed he'd just have to ask Kat about it one day. Shaking his head of the thought as he walked as close to the sunlight as he could. Slowly sticking his hand out but quickly retracting it when it started to burn. "Why can you go in the sun?" He asked shaking his hand. Moon chuckled as the setting sun hit her face holding up her hand "Because I have one of these nifty little rings" she paused, it would be so easy to push him out into the sun and watch him burn as he burst into flames. That's what happened to the last guy. But he was stupid, well stupid enough to walk into the sun, with a little help. Walked, pushed, tripped.. No one really knows but unfortunately Kat seemed to take a real liking to this one. She hadn't looked at anyone like that since Klaus… well if she was honest since Eljiah but she wasn't supposed to know about that no one was, anyways that was almost 300 years ago. Besides for a dumb cop she guessed he wasn't that stupid. "Be careful you might have an unfortunate accident." She said with a smirk as she watched him shake his hand off.
Kat rolled her eyes chuckling as she walked over to Bennett. She just couldn't help it he was so cute. So happy. So eager. "Moon." She said using a mom's voice as she cleared her throat. Moon rolled her eyes mocking her, "Yes, yes best behavior." She paused, "Doesn't mean I can't be pissed off we have to move again. All because SOMEONE can't listen." Bennett swallowed hard taking a few steps back. One he didn't want to burn, seemed to be more on the painful side of things and Moon was scary and he was sure she could make that happen before he even knew what was happening. "It's okay she's not going to hurt you." Kat chuckled with a soft smile as she locked eyes with him, before looking down. Moon turned and looked at the pair rolling her eyes "A deals a deal." Bennett titled his head, "What deal?" Kat sighed. She would rather be going anywhere than where they were headed. Hell, she would rather deal with the big bad hunters but, like Moon said, 'a deal's a deal'. "It's nothing." Moon chuckled, she knew Kat hadn't said anything to him, she guessed she wasn't planning on it. That the only reason you're alive is because of a deal. Yeah, she probably wouldn't tell someone that either. "Oh, just that I don't rip your heart out and we get to go to a nice little place. A place we haven't been to in a very long time." Kat rolled her eyes Moon had a big mouth sometimes. "It's nothing. Really. Anyways we leave tomorrow night." Moon raised an eyebrow turning to look at Kat, "What! Why, why do we have to wait!?" Kat sighed she knew that wasn't going to go over well. There were still a few things that needed to be taken care of and well she really, really just didn't want to go. "There's still some preparations that need to be done. Remember we can only travel at night. So, it's going to take 3 days. And we need just little more supplies." Moon rolled her eyes narrowing them at Bennett before walking over to the edge of the balcony. "And where do you think you're going?" Moon chuckled "Supplies." She said as she jumped down, after all it was something they 'needed' and the sooner she got it, the sooner they could leave… It's not like they had very many options… this was there only option.
Moon shock her head shoving her hands into her pockets as she walked down the empty street, with the sun just setting there wasn't to many people out she guessed that had something to do with the most recent 'animal attacks' or the little fact Bennett messed everything up, she liked to go with the latter. With her hands in her pockets and the rock she was kicking she muttered to no one but herself, "He is so stupid." She was finally holding up. She was finally okay. Able to live without him well able to go on without him anyways. She wasn't missing him, and he didn't cross her mind as often. She was finally okay, and Bennett had to go mess it all up. "He was so so stupid." She muttered again. She guessed the only good thing was she was going to get out of this whole thing was getting to see him… And maybe these feelings she kept deep, deep down for a certain someone would disappear and only her feelings for him would be left. Well, that is if he was even there. If he even wanted to see her. They didn't part on good terms. The fact Kat didn't like him didn't help. Well, they didn't really like each other. Even after all these years they still hated each other's guts. The only thing that was going to suck about this was the annoying animal drinker. She wondered if he was still upset or if he was going to give his stupid lecture again. Looking up to the sky she sighed, "A deal's a deal." She muttered, like she said there really wasn't any other options.
"Another hour or so and it should be safe for you to go out." Kat said with a warm smile. Moon really needed to stop scaring the poor guy, he's new, mistakes happen. Moon needed to remember she was new once too. Nodding Bennett couldn't help but just stare out the patio doors for a moment thinking about how just 3 months ago he was able to walk freely in the sunlight, before facing Kat, "Why does Moon hate me so much? I know I fucked up but damn." Signing she just smiled at him, He was just adorable. So, kind. So sweet. He reminded her of her human side. Her humanity. What love feels like. A feeling she hadn't felt in a very long time. "When you're a vampire all your senses, your personality, your feelings are heightened. And well Moon let her pride get in the way when she was human, got worse when she became a vampire. But she'll get over it, just give her some time. She kind of an asshole." Bennett couldn't help but laugh, she was so cute. Even for a vampire she had a big heart. "Hopefully she doesn't kill me before that happens."
"Oh, don't worry I won't let happen." Kats smile fell as she turned her back to him. She almost felt guilty for turning him. She felt everything 10 times more than when she was human, sometimes it was too much she wondered if that's why Moon turned it off so often. He was so sweet and almost innocent. Kat felt as if she had ruined his life. This is why she didn't make a habit out of turning people. She just didn't want to be alone anymore. Bennett's own smile fell as he watched her. It didn't take a genius to know what was going on inside of her head. He knew how bad she felt. It was written all over her face, no matter how much she tried to hide it. But in all honestly vampire or not there was no other place he would rather be. "Hey..." He pauses as he places a hand on either side of her face, "Don't do that. I want to be here. Honestly there is no other place I would rather be right now." He paused again "It was my choice remember." He whispered as he brought her lips to his in a slow sweet kiss. He really did want this… he wanted her.
Moon raised an eyebrow, the man standing to her right had been watching her for some time now. She knows she's supposed to be keeping a low profile or whatever. But she was hungry, and she didn't have to kill him she could just make him forget it's not hard she had been doing for close to 500 years. Looking around and seeing no one else in site she walked over to him, "What's a fine man like yourself doing out here all alone?" The man smiled "Oh my brother is inside the bar there and I just needed to get some air, one to many drinks" Moon smirked as she looked him in the eye's "Walk with me?" She said as she held out her arm. The man smiled looping his arms with hers "Sure. My name's Sam. What's yours?" Moon chuckled as they turned down an empty ally way looking the man in the eyes, she said "Names aren't important. You will not scream." Sam looked back at her "I will not scream." "You will not run." "I will not run." "Do you understand me?" Sam smiled, "Sure whatever you say." Moon rolled her eyes; this is why she just out right killed them. People were so annoying. "Alright then." She said before biting into his neck. Sam eyes widened letting out a soft moan. He didn't really know what he was feeling, but my god it was better than anything he had ever felt before. Moon licked her lips, taking a deep breath as she pulled away. She wanted more. Hell, she wanted to darn the guy. But unfortunately, she couldn't do that, and he was pretty, so she guessed it wasn't the end of the world. Looking into his eyes she said, "You came out for air. Meet a pretty lady, made out, got all hot and heavy and that's all you remember." Sam nodded as they made their way back to the bar. Before Sam knew it, she was gone. Sam titled his head as he looked around before going back inside the bar, he could have sworn there was just someone there with him.
Moon smirked looking around. There was no one in site, not that she really thought there would be.. Making her way into the blood bank she let her book bag fall from her shoulder. She had hidden it in the bushes a few weeks back, she had a feeling Bennett was going to miss up sooner or later. Filling the bag mostly with empty bags, leaving room for the few real blood bags she was able to take. She didn't need it looking any more suspicious than it already was, she didn't need any more problems than she already had. She just needed something to put the animal blood in. After leaving the blood bank she made her way to the meat shop, they slaughtered their own animals, what it was a small town. Moon sighed fulling up the last bag, she hated this. Animal blood it… it just didn't have the same kick to it. But Kat would throw a fit. This was the best way to stop that and they were lined up to be slaughtered anyways, she just helped it to happen sooner than planned.
Walking up into the front yard, she paused as her ear twitched. She could hear Kat and Bennett talking. Shaking her head and rolling her eyes she chuckled Kat would have really let him walk away. Alive as a human. So so stupid. Well the only thing he did right was getting turned, but it seemed like he was even messing that up. Moon narrowed her eyes as the pair came into view, taking a deep breath she guessed she'd let it go, at least for now. They didn't need to know about everything that happened on her 'supple' run. "So, this is what you to do when I'm not around?" She asked as she walked through the patio doors. "Well." Kat paused sniffing the air. "I know what you do when I'm not around. Where's the body?" "I didn't drink anyone. That's just the blood bags." Moon scoffed as she looked away from them. "Wanna try that again?" Moon rolled her eyes, "Fine. There's no body. I didn't drink anyone. I'm not sloppy." Narrowing her eyes at Bennett stashing the blood bags. "Gee thanks for sharing with the class." B mumbled narrowing his eyes back at Moon. "Guys come on…" Kat groaned while she finished packing her clothes. All she wanted was for them to get along but with Moon being so hard-headed it would take time, and if it was one thing, they had it was time. "Sorry babe." B rested his hand on the small part of her back, kissing her ear lobe. The pet name and action making Kats heart flutter. "Oh god, imma be sick." Moon said as she fake gages earning glares from Bennett and Kat. Moon chuckled; she was just trying to help. "So 'super-cop' got to work tonight?" Rolling his eyes Bennett began helping Kat, "No I have an open transfer. As long as theirs an opening I can go anywhere." "Uh-huh. Well good for you, I don't see the point." God he was so annoying. Acting like the good guy. She was more than ready to see Damon again. Besides if they got him a ring moon wouldn't have to see him so much.
"You're so rude." Kat scolded, lightly pushing her friend. "Rude? We're vampires remember? Nice isn't part of the package!" "Well, we were all human once. That's the point. You remember what that's like?" Kat said as she watched her friend. Truth be told she hadn't shown much humanity since she left Damon. Kat almost didn't pull her back. "I try not to." Truthfully the only one that reminded her of her feelings and of her humanity beside Kat was Damon. She had been around for almost 500 years, turning off her humanity was as easy as flipping a light switch. Having Kat around probably saved a lot of lives. Every time Moon went there. Every time she lost her way. Lost herself. Kat was there to pull her back. Every time. That was her best friend. Her sister. She's the reason that Sam guy is still breathing. And well Damon… Damon was the love of her life…. At least she believed he was.. Even in death, she just couldn't get enough of him. Even after 250 years he was still the only person she wanted to be with. The only issue was Kat hated him. If she could she would ripe his heart without blinking and that was putting it lightly. She still remembers the day her and Damon met. It might have been 250 years ago but for her it just happened yesterday. Her and kat had been passing throw a small town. They had heard other vampires had been staying here from time to time so they thought it would be safe for just a few nights, they were traveling back from running earns for Klaus. The Salvatore brother's or more like Damon liked to know when other vamps were running about his town. So Stephen with Damon's disapproval gave them a place to stay. He might have wanted to know who came into his town but that didn't mean he wanted them to stay in his house. She remembers when their eyes met. It was like fire. Her soul was on fire. Everything she had been ruining from melted away. All the hurt. All the pain. Gone. They became joined at the hip. Always together. Kat even convinced Klaus to come here. Well it wasn't hard that man would do anything for her. But then things went crazy. Things happened and people did things they shouldn't have. And when Kat left well, she couldn't stay without her, no matter how much it broke her heart. No matter how much she loved Damon, Kat was first and was well always there. Always. So, when things didn't pan out. She ran. The look on Damon's face tore her heart to pieces, so she turned it all off. And Kat was there to pick it all back up. But seeing Damon was going to bring all that back and she was scared. To be honest. Moon sighed and shook her head, the thought of Damon disappearing, "What?" She asked looking between the two. "Thinking about that asshole again. You have that look." Kat said annoyance in her voice. Moon rolled her eyes, "He's not an asshole." Kat sighed and rolled her own eyes, 'You know what he did. Beside how do you know he's even going to be there?" B looked between the two, "Who is he? And what did he do?" Moon chuckled, there was so much he didn't know. "You know just as well as I do where there's one brother the other isn't far behind. But I'll let you handle this." Moon said patting Kat on the shoulder as she walked out of the room.
Sighing Kat gently took Bennett's hand, sitting him on the couch next to her she slowly interlocked their fingers, Bennett smiling in response, looking at their joined hands, before looking up at her to give her his undivided attention. Kat let her eyes fall on their joined hands, studding them without looking up she began "So we met Damon over 250 years ago, while we were passing through a small town in the middle of nowhere. We ended up deciding to stay a few days, since it was 'vamp friendly', or so to speak." Pausing as she looked up at B. Smiling at her as he softly squeezed her hand, Taking a deep breath and letting go of his hand as she turned herself around to lend against him causing him to wrap an arm around her. "We were running an errand for another vampire named Klaus." She paused for a moment as memories started to come back, shaking her head she continued "Who I was with" She paused once more for a moment 'it was really his bother you're in love with we should tell him that' she thought to herself before she began to speak again, "at the time. Anyways Damon usually didn't care for other vamps sniffing about in his town without this knowledge. He and Moon hit it off. Like 'love at first sight' love. They were together a while before things went south…" She paused again, interlocking their hands again as she stared at them. This was harder to talk about than she thought. This is a story she never had to tell. "Sorry this is just harder than I thought…"
Taking notice of her discomfort he gave her hand a light squeeze, before kissing the top of her head "It's okay. Take your time. I'm not going anywhere, Babe." "The reason I hate Damon so much is because he slaughtered the last of my family. Before then I received a letter from my 'brother' informing me his mom was ill and needing me for a bit. When I was getting ready to go to them. Klaus and I had a huge fight about it. He thought he owned me, he wanted me to abandon my family and stay. Said he was the only family I needed. I basically told him to fuck off. So, he told Damon, who didn't like me where to find my family. By the time I made it to them it was too late…." Pausing and shaking her head as she looked up at him eyes filling with tears. "John it must have been only mere hours…" B's heart shattered as he watched Kats eyes fill with tears. "Shh..Shh" He didn't really know what to say. What could anyone say to that? Pulling her closer to him and up onto his lap, holding her against his chest. "I went back to that small town where Moon stayed with Damon. I told her what I found and that I had to leave. I couldn't stay there." "I take it Moon stayed?" "Actually, she went with me… I felt sorry for her cause I knew she didn't want to go but I had to get away from Klaus and Damon."
Moon sighed as she poured more bourbon into her glass. She could hear Kat telling John about the night that's been burned into her brain for the last 50 years, and well she didn't need anyone feeling sorry for. No one needed to petty her. It was her choice to leave. A very very stupid choice but nevertheless still her choice. If she wanted to stay then she would have. It had been 50 years, and she hasn't once thought about going back. Okay that's a lie she used to think about it all the time. There was nothing she wanted more than to go back. So, she turned it all off it was easier that way. Easier not to care. Not to feel. But the one thing she didn't need was someone feeling sorry for her. Grabbing the empty bottle and walking through the open door away of her room, "I don't need anyone feeling sorry for me." She paused as she caught her balance "Oh don't worry I'm just…" She paused again holding up the empty bottle and downing the last of her glass. "Another bottle." She finished as she made her way out of the room. No, she didn't need pity. She was fine. Just fine. Moon sighed as she held up the little less than half empty bottle. All the others were packed away and she was too lazy to find them. She guessed she could always go out for a drink. A real drink. Sighing and shaking her head she disregarded the thought, "I best just stay here."
"Great. What else could I possibly fuck up today!?" Kat mumbled to herself as she sat herself up from B's chest feeling the warmth leave her back as she stood up. "Where are you going?" B asked nervously barely above a whisper as he looked between Kat and the closed door to Moons room. Kat rolled her eyes and without another word being said kicked the door open. "What the hell?" Moon yelled as she watched the door fly to the ground with a loud thud before she stumbled out of bed. "What do you have to be upset about? That MONSTER you so desperately yearn for killed my fucking family. So, trust me when I say this, I don't pity you. I was sorry for the choice you had to make." Kat didn't give Moon a chance to say anything before she stormed back into the living room. "Kat... Are you okay?" B asked softly as he stood up and quickly made his way over to Kat. "Let's go get some fresh air" She said without looking up at him. Looking down at her he knew she wasn't okay, far from okay but he didn't want to push the issue, "Anywhere you wanna go dear." He said as he pushed the front door open before wrapping an arm around Kat's waist, kissing her ear as they made their way out of the house.
Moon sighed as she looked at the door now laying on the ground. Closing her eyes as she let herself fall back on to the bed. Sighing as she slowly reached into her pocket, pulling out the small sunflower ring. Opening her eyes watching as she turned it over in her hand. Damon gave it to her. The memory floating back like it happened yesterday. It was the last night they were together. He asked her to marry him. Spend forever with him. She hadn't gotten around to telling anyone, so no one knew, not even Kat. And once they left… well it seemed kind of pointless to bring it up, so she never did. She just always kept the ring on her. Figured it was the best way for no one to find it and well it was a way to keep Damon with her. Looking around the room she let out a sigh as she continued to turn the ring in her hand. She wasn't trying to piss Kat off. Kat had every reason in the book and then some to hate Damon. And she never once blamed Kat for hating him…. But she… she just couldn't hate him. Not even if she tired… oh god did she try. Thought it would make it easier when really it just made her miss him more. He was so much more than a monster. She saw more. So much more. He was sweet, smart, kind and even a little funny. Sure, he had a bad side. Sure, he was an asshole, but to her. Hell, he'd give her the whole world. That night he just wasn't thinking. He just didn't want her to leave. But she couldn't let Kat go through that all alone. Damon was just upset, thought she was putting Kat first, and in a way she was, and she knew she always would. That was her best friend. Her sister. She was there way before there was a Damon. It didn't help that Kat and Damon never really liked each other in the first place. Kat was the only person in the world Damon couldn't touch, without having to deal with Klaus. One scratch to her and Klaus would have his head. And well Kat didn't like Damon… well she wasn't too sure why she didn't. Shaking her head as she shoved the ring back into her pocket and downing the rest of the bottle in her hand, before laying back in the bed. "She can't stay mad at me forever." Was the thought she had before the darkness took over.
Bennett took a deep breath of the fresh night air before looking over at Kat and smiling "Where are we going, dear?" He asked, taking her hand and interlocking their fingers. Turning towards him with a mischievously smile Kat said, "I'm hungry, so I figured we could well ya know grab a bite?" Bennett's smiled turned wicked, "I like the way you think." Pausing for a moment before leaning down to her ear whispering "Who?" letting his lips brush over her earlobe. Kat couldn't help the shaky breath she let out as a shiver run down her spine, he was just so fucking hot. "I really don't care. Some scum-bag, I'm sure you've meet a few of those, right?" Pausing she traced a finger down his chest. "Please Officer Bennett?" Swallowing hard B couldn't help the low growl that escaped his throat. "I may know a few." Slowly getting on her tippy toes Kat brought her lips to her ear, "Lead the way, Officer."
Within minutes they arrived at a known drug lord's house. Kat looked around at the fenced in yard. Bars on the windows, Dog changes led out in the yard. "Whose house is this?" "His name is Jack Kline. He's a drug lord. We have been trying to catch him for years." B said as he paused looking over at her before pinning her to a tree, pressing his lips to hers. Moaning into the kiss, Kat wrapped her legs around his waist all the while dragging his bottom lip between her teeth. Pulling away he locked his gaze with hers, a smile forming upon his face, "You are just so beautiful." Kat couldn't help the blush that started to rise onto her checks, "So are you." Planting a small kiss to his check before she unwrapped herself from him. "We should finish this after our little snack." "Mmm I am starving." B paused as he looked over at the house "So how are we doing this? There's more than one person in there." "Well you just get ahold of Jack and I'll take care of the other two." Kat smiled as he raised an eyebrow, "How do you plan on doing that?" "Mind compulsion remember. Works like a charm, especially since I'm old." Chuckling B wrapped an arm around her waist as they made their way up to the front door. "You got to help me get better at that." "Practice makes perfect, love"
Smirking Kat kicked the front door in with ease causing screams to echo thought out the house. In a flash Kat stepped in front of Jacks two goons and before Jack knew what was happing B appeared right in front of him subduing him. As Kat worked her magic. "Hey, Jack remember me?" Bennett smirked, as he found himself punching Jack right in the face. Jack shook his head as he tried to stop seeing stars. As Bennett came into focus jack chuckled "Oh Hey Officer Benny, long time no see. What do you think you're doing here? Where's your warrant?" Bennett chuckled "Don't need one."
Kat smirked as she looked the other two losers up and down before looking deep into their eyes, "Forget this. You were never here. You had to run errands. You don't know what happen to Jack, the last thing you heard was he skipped town.." The two former goons shook their heads before exiting the house, despite Jack's begging. Jack looked from B to Kat as his friends just left him there "I'll give you guys whatever you want.." He paused looking at B "Just please let me go…' He paused but before he called utter another word Kat appeared in front of him. Jacks eyes widened as he was face to face with Kat "What.. How the hell did you do that? What the fuck are you?" Tilting his head Bennett took Jacks head hand slammed it into the wall as a warning, "Now that's no way to talk to a lady." Pausing B slammed his head into the wall again "Especially my lady" Jack swallowed hard as he looked over at B, "Please Bennett just let me go… Ill.. Ill skip town…" Smiling Kat grabbed the guys hair cutting him off and roughly titled his head to the side, "You know I'm really tired of hearing you beg for your life…" she paused as she chuckled "It's quite embarrassing." After making brief eye contact with B they both sink their teeth into Jacks neck. After a few moments Jacks lifeless body hit the ground with a thud. "God I needed that." Kat said as she slowly whipped the blood from her mouth with her thumb and pointer finger. "Me too." B said as he wrapped an arm around her waist, as he began to leave small kisses on her neck before yelling out in pain and jumping away from the window. Kats eyes widened as she looked at him "John! What is it!?" Looking out the window Kat quickly realized the sun was starting to rise. "Okay run home. FAST. If you leave now you'll make it." "But Ka…" "I'll clean this mess up. GO. NOW." Sighing Bennett quickly made his way back to the house. Barely making in time for the sun to take over the sky.
Moon groaned at the annoying sound of her phone going off. Turning over and opening one eye as she looked at the ringing device with a number she didn't recognize "Whoever this is has 3 minutes to explain to me why you're calling me at 4 in the morning or so help me god I will…" But she was cut short when the voice on the other end filled her ears. "Hello, love." Moons breath hitched and she cloud feel her heart skip a few beats. "Eljiah" Eljiah smirked, chuckling he knew she would know it was him as soon as the first word left his mouth, "Well were you really expecting it to be anyone else?" Moon rolled her eyes, she should have known. No one else would have known where to find her, let alone a number for her. "No, I suppose not." "Sorry sweetheart but, unfortunately I'm not Damon…. Or my brother" Eljiah said as he let out a small chuckle. Moon sighed and shook her head as she slowly sat up in her bed. "Great just what I need. Where comes Eljiah there comes Klaus…. And Klaus was the last thing she needed." She thought before clearing her throat, "Oh believe me I know. How'd you know how to reach me?" Eljiah smirked, she hadn't changed a bit. "Well love, I turned you. We have a connection no one can break, and no matter how far apart we are I will always be able to find you." Moon rolled her eyes, he was always a matter of fact, it was annoying. But she guessed it was better than it being Klaus. "So, I'm guessing this just isn't a checkup call?" Eljiah smirked as he chuckled, she was always so sarcastic with him. "No. I know about the hunters and I know where you plan on going," Moon raised an eyebrow as she got out of bed looking out the window before looking around the room, "Okay… So…" Eljiah smirked, he could tell she was looking for him now. "Don't worry love, I'm no wear near that small little town you're in right now. But we need to talk when you arrive." Moon sighed and rolled her eyes; it was always something. "About what?" She paused for a moment, "Oh and don't give me that 'you'll know when the time comes' crap. Eljiah rolled his own eyes, she was always so busy. "Klaus and Kat." Moon rolled her eyes, "You sure it's not about YOU and Kat?" Elijah rolled his eyes as he thought to himself 'you mean you and Klaus' before he interrupted her, "See you soon, love" was the last the thing she heard before the line went dead.
Moon sighed as the phone fell from her hand "Great JUST what I needed." She thought to herself, she couldn't help the fact her heart skipped a beat at the sound of Klaus's name… she really thought she was over that, she would shake her head of the thought as she raised an eyebrow at the sight of Benny coming crashing through the front door, landing on the floor and getting as far away from the now open door as he could, as the sun started to pin through the trees. "Can't take the heat?" Benny narrowed his eyes at her as he got up off the floor and started to dust himself off, "Shut up." Moon looked around for moment before tilting her head and looking at benny "Where's Kat?" Benny chuckled as he whipped the blood from his chin, "I don't think that any of your business" Moon narrowed her eyes as she appeared in front of him, "I'll ask one more time, where is Kat?" Benny rolled his eyes, He didn't know if it was the blood or how much he was falling in love with Kat, but he wasn't planning on telling her anything. "I'll say it one more time, none of your business." Moon chuckled as she pinned him to the wall, her hand around his neck, "You sure you don't want to rethink that answer?" Benny swallowed hard shaking his head. Moon smiled as she took his hand and pulled it out into the sunlight. Benny couldn't help the scream that he let out as he watched his hand burn. "Do we need to do more?" She asked as she pulled more of his hand into the light. Benny shook his head as he let out another scream. "Okay okay," Moon smirked as she pulled his hand out of the light. "So?" Benny narrowed his eyes as he shook his hand, "She's cleaning up a body we drank last night, if you must know." Moon raised an eyebrow as she let go of him, "Now see that wasn't so hard was it, but let's just keep this between us for now." 'And why in the hell would I do that?" Moon smirked as she started to walk into the kitchen, "Because next time it won't just be your hand I burn." "Bitch" Benny mumbled as he watched his hand heal. "I Heard that" Moon growled. "You must want to burn."
After cleaning up, Kat found herself leaning against the wall before sliding down to the floor. She didn't know what she was doing anymore, and she was so so tired of running. And to top it all off she was hungry again and when you drink straight from the tap, it's hard to go back to anything else. Taking one last look around before shaking her head and standing up, she had to go. Moon was definitely asking question by now. Before she could open the door, there was a knock, "Jack? You here man?" Some guys voice rang out from the other side of the door. "Oh goody lunch!" she thought as she smiled opening the door. "Who the hell are you?" The man asked looking Kat up and down, before trying to look inside, 'Where's Jack?" "Oh, he's just in the back room." She said as she pointed behind her, "Please come in." She said as she stepped aside. "Well alright.." the guy mumbled as he walked inside. Once inside he looked around before yelling out "JACK!" "Shhh" Kat cooed as she kicked the door shut, immediately sinking her teeth into his neck, draining him completely, letting his body drop to the ground. Kat whipped her mouth, as she sighed "Another mess" slinging his lifeless body over her shoulder, she just buried him with the other poor lad.
"Ugh, how long does it take to clean up a body?" Moon grumbled to herself. "Well she's very thorough." Bennett chimed in all the while playing his stupid video game. "Apparently…' And as if on cue Kat walked through the front door. "Well.. well.. well…" Kat raised an eyebrow as she looked around, "What?" Moon opened her mouth before closing it again. She wanted to get to the truth. The real truth, but she had a feeling Kat wasn't going to tell her, "And where have you been?" Kat chuckled as she sat down next to Benny he looked so cute all wrapped up in his video game, "Just getting a few more blood bags is all." She said as she tossed a few bags on the table. Moon raised an eyebrow, she knew she got more then enough, but she wasn't going to press the issue, "right…" She paused as her phone started to ring, picking up the bags she looked at the two, "Yeah sure I'll put these away.. besides I need to take this." She said as she began to walk back upstairs. Kat titled her head as she watched her walk away, answering the phone once she was out of ear shoot of them, before looking over at Benny, "What's that all about?' Benny swallowed hard as his hand tighten around the controller in his hand for a moment," She didn't tell me anything, well besides how much she wants to hurt me." Kat chuckled as she softly kissed his check, "We both know I won't let that happen." Benny could feel the blush creeping up on him as he smiled, "I know."
Moon sighed as she threw the bags in with the others. She answered the phone as soon as she was out of ear shoot, 'What?" Eljiah chuckled. She was always so feisty. That's why he was drawn to her in the first place. "Why do you have to talk to me like that?" Moon rolled her eyes shutting the door behind her. "Oh, I'm sorry, lord Eljiah what can I do for you now?" Eljiah chucked as he shook his head, she was something else. "Don't kill the poor lad." Moon raised an eyebrow, "What are you ta…" But Eljiah cut her off, "I have eyes and ears everywhere, love" He said as he switched the phone in his hands. Moon shook her head as she looked around the room for a moment, "What's it matters to you? He's just some poor guy Kat turned. I thought you of all people would like one ore out of your way." "You kill him, and Kat doesn't come and well then you have to answer to Klaus." Moon rolled her eyes and chuckled, "Both you and I know I'm not scared of him." Eljiah chuckled to himself if anyone was going to take on Klaus it would be Moon. She was ruthless. "Yes, that may be so, but it would be oh so unfortunate if something where to happen to Damon." He paused as he heard Moons breath hitch, as much as he knew about her secret feelings about Klaus, Damon always hit the nail on the head. "I'll see you soon. My love" Moon felt the phone break into pieces as the line went dead. That was low. Even for Eljiah. He crossed the one line he promised he never would. And all it did was make her want to rip Benny's heart out even more than before. But his meaningless life wasn't worth a hair on Damon's head. All this for a girl. A girl who choose someone else. This whole thing was just stupid.
Moon narrowed her eyes and held back a growl as Benny and Kat come into view, all cuddled up on the couch watching some stupid move or something. All she wanted to do was rip his beating heart out but unfortunately that wasn't going to happen., "We leave in an hour. You two should get ready instead of whatever this is." She said as she points a finger between the to.
Sam sighed as he looked around the empty house, "This is pointless, Dean." Dean rolled his eyes; Sam was always so grumpy after a night out. And by the look of Sam he had a pretty late night. "It's not pointless." He paused as he started to walk around the house. "Now you going to tell me who gave you that nice little mark?" Sam rolled his eyes, as he found himself rubbing his neck, "I told you I don't remember I was drunk." He paused as he looked around, "What do you plan on finding? What does a drug dealer have to do with anything?" Dean smirked as he looked over at Sam, "Well little brother. None of his friends seem to know where he is and the last people to see him don't remember anything. Do we know who was in changer of this beat?" Sam raised an eyebrow as he flipped through his notes, "An Officer John Bennett." Dean smirked as he crouched down to look under the couch, raising an eyebrow, "well I think its high time we talk to him." Sam chuckled as he watched his brother, "Not gunna happen he put in for a transfer 2 months ago and hasn't been seen since." "Well a missing officer and a missing Drug lord." Dean started, but Sam cut him off, "How do you know they're missing?" Dean smirked as he stood up and pointed to the few drops of blood on the ground, 'I have this feeling." He paused as he patted Sam on the shoulder "Come on we have work to do." Sam sighed and shook his head as he followed Dean out of the house.
"She's so rude." Kat grumbled as her and B went to get up off the couch, "Pack up your video game, love." "Yes, ma'am" He mumbled sarcastically, as he turned everything off, while Kat followed Moon into the other room. "Care to tell me what's bothering you?" Kat asked as she lend against the entryway, looking over at Moon who had her back to her. "I told you Kat I'm tired of moving! Especially because of him, there's no part of me that likes him." Moon barked out. She wasn't totally lying. She really didn't like Bennett, and after what Eljiah just pulled she hated the guy even more, but she couldn't tell Kat abut Eljiah, not without finding what he was up to first. Where there's Eljiah involved there was Klaus involved and when Klaus was involved… Well it was never good. "Look I'm sorry but this will be the last time.. I promise." Kat paused as she looked over at Moon, "You remember what it was like to be new." Moon sighed as she turned to look at Kat, "I still want to eat him." She said through clenched teeth. Benny was now causing more issues than that. If he wasn't here this wouldn't be a problem. Klaus could get Kat back and well she could get Damon back. It was a win-win, well it wasn't for Elijah.. and was she really in love with Damon or just settling because she couldn't have who she really wanted… Kats voice interrupted her thoughts as she shook her head. "You'll get over that, I assure you. And I'm all packed up, Benny will be ready shortly." Moon smiled as she mumbled out, "Great." She was more than ready to see Damon, or at least she thought she was…
After about an hour everyone was ready. They always traveled light. Leaving just about everything behind besides necessities and extremely personal affects. Since they owned the property, everything will stay in tac if they wherever to return. "About time" Moon muttered, pushing off the door frame as Benny and Kat came down the stairs. "Oh, hush." Kat teased while Benny just rolled his eyes.
Moon smiled throwing the Bag of blood over her shoulder, opening the front door, taking a few steps out as she took a deep breath of the crisp cool night air. "Why do you get to carry it?" Benny asked as he followed Kat out the door, shutting it behind him. Moon rolled her eyes as she mocked him, before turning around and walking backwards, "Because I got it all. Besides you're in no position to be asking questions." She said a she turned back around, walking down the street with Benny and Kat a few feet behind her. Benny rolled his eyes as he muttered out, "One day I'll be stronger than you." Moon chuckled, "Yeah don't count on that, remember I can hear you, no matter how much you mutter." Benny rolled his eyes again mocking her, causing Kat to chuckle and give an eye roll of her own, "Can't you please get along? At least long enough for trip?" Moon rolled her eyes with a forced smile as she called over her shoulder, "Fine, whatever." Benny smiled as he looked over at Kat, "Anything for you, Baby. But um why are we walking?" Moon made gaging sounds as she rolled her eyes at the pair who just caught up to her "Imma be sick. And well because we're much faster than any car would be, which means well get there faster this way and its less time I have to spend with you. It's a win-win." Benny rolled his eyes as Kat took his hand in hers, all three making their way to their first hide out.
Moon rolled her eyes as she tossed the last human blood bag at Kat and Benny. They still had a day and a half to go and she had been listening to Benny cry for an hour about how hungry he was, so she tossed them the last good bag, so now all they had to eat was Bambi. "Do you want some?" Kat asked looking over at moon as she passed the bag back to Benny. Moon smirked as she down the rest of her drink and garbing the bottle of the desk before sitting on the couch across from the love birds, "I'm not hungry." "Oh, come on! I don't mind sharing!" Benny said with a smile as he held the half empty bag up. Moon smiled with a small chuckle, "The less I interact with you the better." Benny sighed and rolled his eyes, "I was just trying to be friends." Pouring another drink into her glass she looked over at Benny and said, "well don't." she paused as she pecked out the window at the setting sun, "We leave in an hour." Kat rolled her eyes taking the bag from Benny, Moon was so petty. Chuckling she lend in and gave Benny a heated kiss. "That went well." She said pulling back as they both let blood drip from their lips. "Well she didn't try to kill me." He paused as he licked his lips as he whispered in her ear, "I know a few things we could do in an hour." Kat felt a shiver run down her spine as she grabbed Benny's hand lending him into the next room. Moon shock her head and rolled her eyes as she took a drink from her glass, looking out the window again.
