One night as Alexis is with Honey Lemon at the nerd lab she follows her around while helping to move her ball.
"Excuse me! Coming through! Tadashi! Oh my gosh. You must be Hiro! I've heard so much about you!" Honey Lemon shouts excitedly due to having music in her ears as she sees a boy with dark hair and Tadashi come over.
"Uh Honey? The music?" Alexis asks as she gestures for Honey Lemon to take out her earbuds.
"Oh. Right! Hiro this is my sister Alexis." Honey Lemon says excitedly.
"Hello." Alexis says kindly.
"Uh hi." Hiro says.
"Anyway perfect timing. Perfect timing." Honey Lemon says as she shows Hiro her device.
"That's a whole lot of tungsten carbide." Hiro says.
"400 pounds of it! Come here. Come here. Come here. You're going to love this. A dash of perchloric acid, a smidge of cobalt, a hint of hydrogen peroxide, super-heated to 500 Kelvin, and... Ta-da! It's pretty great huh?" Honey Lemon asks as she turns the ball pink.
"It's so pink." Hiro says.
"Here's the best part. I know right? Chemical metal embrittlement." Honey Lemon says as she touches the ball and it poofs.
"Not bad Honey Lemon." Tadashi says as he smiles.
"Honey lemon? Go go? Wasabi?" Hiro asks.
"I spill wasabi on my shirt one time people. One time!" Wasabi says annoyedly as Alexis laughs slightly.
"Fred is the one who comes up with the nicknames. He's still trying to come up with one for me but I refuse to let him call me any nicknames. I don't care for being called anything other than my actual name." Alexis says.
"Who's Fred?" Hiro asks.
"This guy right here! Don't be alarmed. It is just a suit. This is not my real face and body. The name's Fred. School mascot by day but by night... I am also a school mascot." Fred says as he comes over in a lizard costume and startles Hiro.
"So what's your major?" Hiro asks.
"No, no, no. I'm not a student. But I am a major science enthusiast. I've been trying to get Honey to develop a formula that can turn me into a fire-breathing lizard at will. But she says that's not science." Fred says as he sits down in a chair.
"It's really not." Honey Lemon says as the group goes over to Fred.
"Yeah and I guess the shrink ray I asked Wasabi for isn't science either. Is it?" Fred asks.
"Nope." Wasabi says.
"Well then what about invisible sandwich?" Fred asks.
"Hiro." Tadashi says as he and Hiro leave the room.
"Imagine eating a sandwich but everybody just thinks you're crazy." Fred says.
"Just stop man." Alexis says as Fred keeps trying to come up with something.
