"Can't you do your own eyeliner?" Marinette asked, as she and Adrien walked home from school. "Yes, but your so good at it. And you have better snacks," Adrien smiled. "Oh, flattery will get you everywhere, Agreste," Marinette rolled her eyes. "I suppose you want me to hold your hand to as we walk."

Adrien stopped on the sidewalk, now looking a bit nervous. "Well, if you want to….." "Fine," Marinette groaned, though Adrien knew secretly she liked holding hands, and ruffling his ears as Claw Noir…. "You good?" Marinette asked, and Adrien snapped out of his daydream. "Yes, yes. Coming, Princess."

It was bright and warm in Marinette's kitchen as she dug out a package of graham crackers. "Love, can you get out the grapes from the fridge?" she asked.

Soon, they were both sitting at the table eating and Marinette checked her phone. "We're going patrolling after I do your eyeliner," she muttered, and Adrien hid a secret smile. That's my girl, he thought. Always organized.

"Sit down on the chaise while I grab my things," Marinette told him. "M'lady?" Adrien said, quietly. "Yes?" "I think you need a hug." "Okay."

Marinette still wasn't used to hugs as she and Adrien were newly dating, but after a second she relaxed, and melted into his arms. Adrien rubbed her back. "You smell like strawberries," he muttered, and Marinette pushed herself away. "I thought I was a Cockroach, not an edible fruit," she joked. "Hey," his green eyes were bright with mirth. "A hissing Cockroach can be sweet too."

At last, he lay down on the chaise, and Marinette sat down, her makeup palate in hand. "I still can't believe the other Marinette had such a crush on you. She describes you as "sweet" in her diary. And she was crazy in love with you, too. It was pretty gross."

Adrien was quiet as Marinette's swirled the brush in the liner. You just wait, you'll warm up to my clawful puns in no time.

"Close your eyes," Marinette said, and begin dabbing lightly at Adrien's eyelid. Adrien sighed, relaxing even further into the cushions. It felt nice to be slightly pampered.

"I think she may have a bit of a point though," Marinette admitted, blushing just a little. Adrien grabbed her small Ladybug doll, plopping it on his chest. "Oh?"

Before Marinette could say more, her patrol alarm went off, and Adrien sighed. "Come on, sleepy Fleabag, you can nap on the roof." Marinette quickly put the palette back as Adrien stood up.

They were walking towards the stairs, when Marinette turned back to Adrien. "Can I tell you something?" she asked, shyly. He nodded. Quick as a flash, she jumped up on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on his lips.

"That's all," she said, disappearing downstairs. Huh. He knew Marinette could be tough, but she was sweet and soft around him. Not that she would admit it.

Smiling as he headed out the door, he laced their fingers together again. "Time for patrol, Cockroach." She smiled, raising a fist. "You got it, Fleabag."
