"Pound it!" It was a four-way pound it, as Rena Rouge and Carapace had been helping on this very busy akuma day. "We'll see you later, girls!" Carapace said. "Off to the movies we go!"
Ladybug waved to Cat, a small smile on her face, turning when she saw Rena grinning at her. "Ooh! You made the flirty fingers at each other! You two are soo in love!" The girls jumped down into the alleyway to detransform. "You are watching way to many romantic comedies, Alya!" Marinette said, yawning. "Girl, when was the last time you took a nap, or had some fun?" Alya asked.
Marinette shrugged. "Hey, I just had the best idea!" Alya squealed. "Let's do makeovers and impress the guys!" "I'm in," Marinette giggled. It would be fun to spend some girly time with Alya after all the superhero work lately, plus regular homework!
"There was this cute little place that Zoe was talking about. Let me pull it up on my phone," Alya said. As Alya tapped away on her phone, Marinette felt her phone buzz. Cat.
Cat: Meow love you!
Marinette: I meow you too.
"Hm, can't wait two minutes to text flirt?" Alya teased, and Marinette gasped, whirling back around. "Its alright, Nino sends me turtle jokes all the time. And I found the name of the store. The Stylish Poodle!"
Marinette stared at her friend for a moment, before bursting into giggles. "The Stylish Poodle? Sounds more like a dog grooming place! Oh, oh, that is to funny!" "Hey, don't knock them before we try 'em."
Marinette had to admit the shop was cute, after all it had hearts, lots of pink on the walls and of course a poodle! "What's this?" Marinette asked, as she was shown a chair to let her fingers and toes soak. One of the girls had handed her a coffee. "While we wait for your nails to soak, enjoy a coffee on us!"
"I like this place already," Marinette sighed. She drifted a bit as the workers worked on her toes. Then she giggled. "Care to share?" "Oh, my cat always yowls when I try to clip his nails. No matter how much he wants to cuddle, I don't want claw marks!" Alya grinned over at her and gave her a wink.
They had to be a bit careful after, as it would take some time for the polish to set. "Look, there's an ice cream cart! Let's get a cone!" Alya said.
"So," Alya said, innocently as Marinette licked her cone. "Does "this cat" of yours have blonde hair, green eyes and a tail?" Marinette laughed. "I think the attendant thought I meant an actual cat, and not Cat Noir. Just as well!"
When they were done with their cones, they decided to head towards Marinette's. "Want to stop in here?" Marinette asked, pausing outside the door of her favorite quite.
"That looks divine on you!" Alya squealed a half hour later. "You don't think," Marinette lowered her voice. "That it says "Ladybug" to much do you?" Marinette was referring to her cute red sundress with white polka dots. "Its red, yes, but the polka dots are so you, Marinette."
Feeling satisfied with their purchases, the girls finally made it home for dinner. "Now, to end our night of fun," Alya told Marinette, "is face masks and cucumbers!"
"How long do we let it set?" Marinette asked, as they sat on her bed in their pajamas. "About a half hour. Which means, time to gossip!"
However, Cat Noir and Carapace had different plans then face masks. "Oh, twigs and berries!" Alya groaned as she heard a thump! On the roof. "I think Cat and Carapace missed us."
Marinette suddenly looked flustered. "But-but we look like swamp people!" "Chillax, they won't-" Alya never got to finish her sentence as the boys landed on the bed. "Arrgh! Swamp people!" Marinette glared at Alya, then turned to the boys. "No, you goofs! Its us!" "Princess?" Cat asked, cautiously. "Aye, get out of my swamp!" she giggled. "Your no Shrek, your to cuddly! Cuddles!" Cat launched himself, and Marinette soon found him purring, head in her lap.
"This was fun, Alya," she said. "Hey, can we get a face mask too?" Carapace asked, not wanting to be left out. "Hey, I have some nail polish. Let's give them the makeover spa treatment they deserve!"
