NB: I am a massive fan of the School for Good and Evil, but I do not own any of these characters. Thank you to Soman Chainani for writing the original series!

THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL

According to Tedros

Chapter 1- The Prince's Pen-Pal

Prince Tedros of Camelot had known, all his life, that he was destined for greater things. But whilst all the other teenagers in Camelot and its surrounding kingdoms tried their best to impress the School Master, he, quite frankly, felt bored.

He decided to begin his day by sharpening his sword, the famous 'Excalibur'. Sighing, Tedros attempted predicting how the girls in the School for Good would react.

"Oh, my handsome Prince!"

"Darling Teddy and I will be going to the ball!"

"It's King Arthur's son!"

Yes, there would be much swooning, and giggling, and mooning. The boys would be the same… or even worse. Tedros couldn't help but smile at these premonitions. For his entire existence he had been fawned over and overwhelmed by people who were obsessed with him for his good looks and fame, but he had to admit; no matter how old it got, he rather enjoyed the attention.

Slipping his newly polished, cut-steel sword into the leather sheath on his belt, Tedros took the opportunity to glance around his father's former paradise: King's Cove. A glittering oasis within the castle home to a clear turquoise pool, usually inhabited by shimmering Wish Fish, a cascading waterfall of silver mist, smooth quartz ledges, pearl-white fluffy towels, a complete platter of cheeses, fruits, foreign delicacies, and sparkling champagne, perched upon a majestic tortoiseshell table, along with an intimidating and mighty statue of King Arthur and Excalibur, carved from pure bronze.

Well…

It used to be.

Until Tedros' late father had passed, and his 'advisors' had long laid waste to the kingdom, and its once-pristine amenities. Instead of using the money for Camelot, they used it to invest their own pockets, feeding off it like vultures. The least Tedros could do was keep his father's marvellous statue shiny and ship-shape, along with visiting it every day to remind himself of his family's legacy. When he turned 16, Tedros would officially become King of Camelot, and he vowed to rise up to Authur's name and bring fortune to his land. He would punish those scoundrels, responsible for the kingdom's downfall, and would be the leader, the Lion, the King who would lead the Endless Woods into a peaceful and glorious age.

But that was three years away.

He first had the School for Good and Evil to focus on.
