Victor, oh Victor. It is quite terrible for me to say, but I do not feel sympathy for my patients as well as I use to. Though there are exceptions, and Victor Fries is one of them. A GothCorp scientist who in a misguided attempt to save his terminally ill wife Nora Fries, Victor thought it wise to use the company's resources illegally. In the end, he was discovered and the resulting struggle with GothCorp CEO Ferris Boyle ended in Victor being doused in cryo-chemicals, altering his metabolism where he cannot survive in an environment above sub-zero temperature. Creating a cryo-suit of his own design, Victor would take the name of Mr. Freeze and in an effort to help his wife whom was placed into a cryochamber 'also built by Victor' began to exact his revenge on Boyle, but was thwarted by the bat who also took in Boyle for his own crimes. Though it is rare for Victor to escape his cell, escapes have unfortunately occurred. Whenever he does escape Arkham Asylum, he continues his quest to aid his wife by committing his own crimes. But why Victor? Why do this when there is no value to cause such harm to Gotham? I am certain that if you only asked for our help, we all would love to save you and your Nora.
