This is a New Story, which will mainly consist of short chapters. There is a version of this on my Wattpad account with pictures and gifs so please look at that as well. Enjoy.

*Glub... Glorb... Blorb...!*

Thrashing awake and confined inside a small space. Surrounded by a viscous fluid, it wasn't water and was thick like sap. A smooth surface all around like glass, with no exit. There was only one option now, which was to create an exit.

*SCRASH!*

The sounds of glass shattering echoed as a creature covered in a blue sticky fluid poured out from a container and flopped onto the grass like a fish freshly caught from the water. Glass shards from smashing through the inside spread around as the blue fluid spilled onto the ground.

The creature was a Kaiju with gray charcoal scales. Gray-blue spiky dorsal fins line its back, from the top of its head to the end of the tail. It has sharp claws and toes with yellow eyes with black reptilian slits. The creature was large. It was roughly the same length as a Komodo Dragon, although its torso was much broader than any reptile.

The creature's legs were also very different from a lizard's, as it had two firm, pillar-like legs similar to those of a sauropod dinosaur. Its hands were also unlike a lizard's, with three clawed fingers and a semi-posable thumb on each hand. As the creature pushed itself into an upright sitting position, three butterflies landed on its head, to which it looked at the insects with annoyance in its reptilian eyes.

As he blinks his eyes open, Godzilla takes in the world around him. He is standing in a forest clearing, surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees. The air is thick with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. One could hear the sound of a brook babbling in the distance. But something is off - Godzilla was much smaller than he remembers.

As he looks down at his scaly hands, he realizes that his memories are hazy and can't recall how he became this miniature version of himself. Peering through a swarm of the three fluttering butterflies before shooing them away, he notices that he is standing in a marshy area with patches of mud dotting the water-covered ground.

As he turned around, he noticed the container from which he had just fled. It was a man-made structure, and its contents seemed like a viscous blue substance akin to tree sap. However, the lingering taste in his mouth was nothing like the sweetness of sap; instead, it was a sour and bitter flavor that seemed to coat his tongue.

Surrounding the marsh was a massive canopy of tree leaves. Godzilla didn't recognize this place then again, given his previous colossal size meant that he wouldn't ever notice this place. Godzilla would've quite literally stepped on it all. Godzilla wadded around the marsh, but his stubby legs, added to his now diminutive size, sunk into the mud, causing him to waddle like a penguin through the muck.

Godzilla was grateful he was alone, as he saw himself in a rather ungraceful state. He was considered a mighty figure among the Kaiju and didn't want to tarnish his reputation by being seen waddling like a flightless bird. He grumbled in frustration, feeling self-conscious about his current state.

"Rrraaawww!" Godzilla's train of thought was interrupted by the sounds of an infant Skullcrawler, causing him to look up. The Skullcrawler is a serpentine creature with only two long forelimbs and no hind limbs. Their heads are similar to those of mosasaurs, particularly the mosasaur Tylosaurus. They have four digits on each hand, with the thumb being the smallest and the rest of the digits being of equal size. The Skullcrawler's head is grey and white, with its eyes behind two round eye socket-like depressions on the sides of its head.

This small yet insatiable carnivorous creature, no larger than a labrador, was now staring at him while he wobbled through the marsh like a baby penguin. 'This creature needs to die.' These were Godzilla's first thoughts that he had since he woke up. Godzilla's dorsal scutes suddenly glowed with an intense blue light, signaling his readiness to fight. He lowered his head, baring his razor-sharp teeth at the creature. The creature responded in kind, opening its jaws wide and letting out a loud, piercing roar.

Godzilla gazed at his opponent with a hint of smugness. 'It seems this thing wants to pick a fight, and I, as the King of the Monsters, am more than ready to oblige!' With a deep breath, Godzilla let out a roar to strike fear into the creature before him. Instead of his usual thunderous bellow, a squeaking screeching sound erupted from his throat. Worse still, his voice cracked, making the pitch of his roar shift wildly. The air was filled with an awkward silence as the once-mighty King of the Monsters felt a piece of himself dying on the inside due to such a humiliating roar.

Desperately trying to salvage the mortifying situation, Godzilla summoned every ounce of strength and focused his energy on activating his atomic breath. His mouth opened wide, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth as his dorsal fins began to glow with an eerie light. Intending to unleash his lethal atomic breath... Only to let out a voice-cracking screech instead, followed by a pitiful plume of radioactive smoke. This was yet another humiliating moment for him in such a short time. Overwhelmed with shame, Godzilla thought, 'Universe to tear open a black hole and erase me from existence.'

The silence that had fallen over the murky waters was shattered by Skullcrawler's sudden chortle, mocking Godzilla's attempt at roaring. It was enough to send Godzilla into a fit of rage and embarrassment, causing him to leap out of the water and into the air, defying all known laws of physics. With a mighty dropkick, Godzilla struck the infant Skullcrawler's body, sending the small creature hurtling through the air. Its flight was short-lived as it crashed into a tree, breaking its back on impact. The force of the impact shook the surrounding foliage as Skullcrawler cried out in pain from its spine breaking into pieces.

The Skullcrawler cried out in pain as its spine was shattered by the attack and following impact. Flailing about on the muddy ground as Godzilla approached, his claws and teeth ready to end the undersized monster's life. "Seeeoookk!" The Skullcrawler cried out before Godzilla brought down his claw on its neck. As Godzilla pulled his claw free from the Skullcrawler's flesh, he heard the distant sounds of other Skullcrawlers, much larger than the baby he just finished.

'That baby just called for its whole pack. I'd better get clear of this area. I only won because I took it by surprise. No one expects the Gravity-Defying Dropkick,' Godzilla thought to himself. He turned his heel and beelined it toward the opposite direction of the Skullcrawlers.

"If I came from a man-made container, then it stands to reason I can find a human outpost to hide in. Jesus... First, I wake up smaller than my fleas. Then I can barely roar or shoot my Atomic Breath. And Then, there's this annoying voice speaking out my every thought like a human-" Godzilla muttered to himself.

Suddenly, he froze in place, all thoughts he had stopping with him, as he realized something. He was thinking... Not like he typically did in the past... No, this wasn't at all normal. Godzilla's thoughts were like a human's, articulating words and speaking long sentences. Before all this, his thoughts were in tune with his intuitions, acting purely on instinct and making up plans as he went.

Godzilla was disoriented. He had never felt so confused before. He was thinking like a human, and he couldn't understand why. "What's happening to me? Why am I thinking like a human?" He spoke out loud, hoping that someone could answer him. But there was no one around. Godzilla covered his mouth, thinking, "Wait, I can talk too?" He was astonished by his speech.

As he looked up, he saw the sun shining brightly in the sky, signaling it was setting. This was unusual for him because he had never been aware of time. He was perplexed and bewildered by his thoughts. "How can my brain function like this?" he wondered. Godzilla felt that he needed answers and decided to find a human outpost.

He was convinced that humans were the cause of the strange things happening to him. But his thoughts were interrupted by an annoying inner voice that spoke out his every thought. It reminded him that he was not alone. He tried to silence it, but it persisted. 'I need to find a way to control this voice,' he thought.

As he struggled to silence the voice, it spoke again. 'This voice is yours, dumbass.' Godzilla was taken aback by the voice's insult and responded angrily. "What did you call me?!" he roared out loud. But then he realized that he was yelling at himself. "I'm yelling at myself... What is wrong with me?" he muttered.

His inner voice responded with a hint of sarcasm. 'Do you want that list in alphabetical or numerical order?'

Godzilla then roared out once more, "Shaddup your face!"

'I'm a voice in our head caused by hallucinations from dehydration and the drugs that were in that blue fluid we were floating in. I don't have a face.' The voice replied. Suddenly, Godzilla's train of thought was cut off by a large thud getting closer. Godzilla looked around as pools of water rippled from the tremors. Something massive was approaching something enormous.

Then, an Alpha Skullcrawler crushed the trees that hid Godzilla from its view. It was closer to a Titan than Godzilla's current form was. It was a tremendous, slender, muscular 95-foot-tall female Skullcrawler. However, unlike the smaller Skullcrawlers, she possesses distinct spikes on her elbows, a thorny tail, and a more pronounced, sand-colored transparent ridge running down her spine along with a wide balanced crest-like-structure on her scalp and a more rounded crocodilian snout in contrast to the smaller Skullcrawlers' pointed Tylosaurus shaped snout. It also went by the name Skulldevil.

'Huh... So that's how that feels.' The inner voice stated, pointing to how Godzilla has caused tremors for the once smaller-then-him humans by walking.

"Crapbaskets," Godzilla murmured as the Skulldevil peered at his back. His sweat hit the water below him.

To Be Continued...

That's it for this chapter, barely over 1800 words. But I hope you enjoyed it. Bye!
