Rufina Ryder Dooh is another tragic case of a poor mistreated soul Gotham City seems to have forsaken to the wolves of madness. Fifteen years of sweating in a living hell under such tragedies which I doubt many would escape with their sanity intact. Losing her parents at the early age of two years due to her father murdering her mother and turning the gun on himself in an act of suicide. Rufina was then placed under the custody, or rather chains of her witch of a grandmother who made her life in her words, 'a living hell which I couldn't escape from.' and according to her, she fared no better at her school, and the atrocious acts she had endured by her tormentor and her lackies who now like Rufina are in our care. How she has not taken her own life yet is in all honesty a miracle in itself, and even now it is quite a challenge to keep her from doing so, as we have to search her room everyday and night for any items which could result in suicide. But I digress, it was the evening of her seventeenth birthday where she then lost what remained of the pieces to her already shattered sanity. When serving her grandmother an undercooked steak, and failing to cut it up for her correctly, Rufina then endured another session of horrid thrashings from the harlot and was sent to her room with a bloody nose and a blackened eye as she was forbade to leave the house for the entirety of summer vacation. With her innocence then completely destroyed, Rufina re-entered the kitchen, drew the butcher's cleaver out of the drawer, and proceeded to murder her abuser who would become the first of many victims. Days had passed and with completely cleaned with the bits of grandmother placed in a custom made basket, she set out to Gotham as she planned to exact her revenge on all who made her life miserable, while venturing through the city, she them met our recently escaped patient Jervis Tetch otherwise known as the Mad Hatter, and purchased a form of mind altering drug when consumed would render the victim as a ball of clay that can be molded by the assailant. Like a form of lobotomizing transformation if you will, and who better to use this upon than her tormentors and their boyfriends. Ingesting the concoction at a party hosted in her home, Rufina then transformed each classmate into twisted caricatures of fairytale characters while she dawns the moniker of Red Riding Hood after her favorite fairytale of the same name.
