Chapter 1:

News Report: Nov. 2

"… In other news, as the Christmas season slowly approaches, the Royal family will begin their annual Christmas traditions. The Palace has already confirmed attendance at various charity parties hosted by extended family members, the infamous football match between the Princes, and many others. Now, many people are curious to see how these traditions might evolve due to the drastic change in the image of the royal family since the infamous Waterloo Letters scandal. The scandal marked a historic change in the royal family when it was revealed that Prince Henry was in an intimate, romantic relationship with Alex Claremont-Diaz, son of United States President Ellen Claremont-Diaz. The emails between the two public figures were released on Reddit and made global news within a matter of hours.

Though the Palace and White House spoke nothing of the relationship, many in the UK and around the world gather in support of the couple in the month that followed. Last month marked the five-year anniversary of the scandal, and despite the odds, the couple appear to be very much in love still. The couple has continued to maintain public appearances, as well as contributed to many LGBTQ+ charities.

It comes as no surprise that many people are questioning when the couple will make it official and have the first royal same-sex wedding. The couple has continued to deny the rumors, but one can't help but wonder when the couple will finally take that next step. There have been no confirmations as to how Alex will take part of the annual traditions, but we can only hope that his participation will mark the beginning of this unprecedented union…"

Alex switched off the TV and looked over at Henry sound asleep. Five years later, and Alex since melted every time he looked at him. He never thought they would reach this point, lying in their bed together, in their home, after a long day. Alex reached over to brush Henry's hair from his face and smiled as Henry took a deep sigh and snuggled closer to him.
