He started college and it to celebrate this special occasion he decided that he would have a Heist. For the sake of occasion that he would be celebrating with other people that
Crime in Japan had risen over double it had been in just a short a moment of days and then skyrocketed when it had come to weeks and then months. The criminals of Japan knew that they were free as a jailbird (not his kind of bird) to do whatever they wanted because they had no one to fear at all. Well, that was not all too true they were scared of the police, but they did not put the fear into them, the kind of fear that stopped them completely. And this was because Daredevil or as he liked to call her Red (also Shin-Chan when not in uniform) had called it quits and hung up her uniform.
He has the alluring Kaitou Kid had found that he was facing more copycats or criminal pretending to him so they could get away with whatever crime they had committed. He found it annoying and tiresome that other people thought that they could pretend to be him or a cheap knock off that was nothing like him. He hated how he fooled a lot of people and was annoyed yet grateful that Nakamori always believed in him and refused to believe that he was guilty, other of any crimes than the ones that he committed of course.
He was hoping that he could rely on a certain Detective, but he had not heard anything from her at all and he was starting to get the feeling that he was rejected.
He had not seen Shin-Chan in a while, and he was starting to get worried. At was until he had heard a little birdie rumour that Shinichi had appeared at a crime scene to solve a case. So, this news should have made him happy and feel relieved that she was safe and sound. But he was not because he had heard that there was another High school Detective there and he had helped her.
A little deeper his little birdie had found out that this Detective was looking for Shinichi and hunted her way down to wherever she was and somehow he had gotten her to appear. His little birdie showed that this Detective was as interested in her as he was interested in Shinichi. Only he knew things about her that even he did not know. Like the fact that Shinichi was tone deaf and that only made him laugh. His superpowered Detective girl was really good at hearing but could not hit a single note to save her life.
But once again she had disappeared and was nowhere to be found.
He had heard through the grape vine (listening to Aoko and Nakamori Talking through listening device) that Shinichi had solved several cases for the police. But she had not actually seen by anyone and it was just actually a phone call each time she contacted them.
Then out of nowhere when he was in a middle of Heist and in the sky with Aoko, Shinichi appeared at a crime scene. It was just his luck that she or on purpose that she solves one in person when Hakuba let it slip that was sighted.
Hakuba did not get the pleasure of seeing her. And he could not help but boast and antagonise a sulking Hakuba about the displeasure of not seeing her. Hakuba liked to poke back and Aoko always took his side.
Shin-Chan had called it quits.
Maybe he had pushed her too far?
He should have given her more privacy ?!
She had a right to them.
He had a right to privacy, and Shinichi did not pry into life. Even though he would have welcomed the chance, she never invaded his home or steal anything from him.
He had put her into danger too many times.
Even though she had worn a red costume that was the cover of blood there was no hiding it. He remembered the first time as he closed his eyes to see his memories.
The taste of metal in the air.
First the smell of blood.
Smell was always the strongest of sense.
Always bring back memories.
Memories of His Dad that he did not want to remember.
The taste of the blood in his mouth.
He remembered it dripping and dripping.
The stench of it was unreal.
Slowly falling like raindrops as it was about to start.
The ecsastasy of scared of people watching an unable to move from their seats.
Confused and all hoping that it was part of the trick.
But they see the paramedics and it becomes all too clear.
Scared and confuse fans.
The vultures taking their videos and pictures, while they still can.
The sound of crying fans.
His mother is very pale and looks like she is going to throw up.
She threw up. She was shaken and was unable to mutter a word. Still shaking she was able to gather herself enough to pick him up, and get out sight.
The last thing he remembered from that night was the arrivals of the police. The apologies and it all blurring into condolences and adults trying to explain what happens when someone dies.
He did not to think of this anymore. Instead, he would plan for his next Heist.
She was more than angry, she was in despair.
"The Moonlight Sonata" she murmured to herself.
"Thank you, little detective."
Was what was being played and was the message goodbye, This was his farewell note to the world and a person goodbye to her only that she could read.
Seiji Asoh: Cause of death suicide by burning.
A death that she could have prevented if she was in true form. If she was Kudo Shinichi, she would not be thrown out a window like a toy.
Watching the burning building burn to the ground, it all felt too familiar. Watching the building god down in flames was déjà vu all over again. Even though she was puzzled and confused, she knew that it was triggering another forgotten memory. A memory that best belay at bay. It was the smell, the smoke and the burning flesh that triggered. Her senses made her knowing that she had witnessed a similar situation before. This was also someone that she cared for and dare to think even love. She was compelled to find out the truth because a detective always needs to know the truth. But she would leave it for now.
The dancing of the flames was beautiful and yet also tragic in the same. It was almost hypnotising to watch. Shinichi did realise that she was not watching the flames at all but a memory had triggered. The memory what she would see when she was blind. was that she would see. A world on fire instead of darkness, something that she would rather had seen.
The rage that had been left her when she turned into Edwoaga Christie started to build up again. Slowly but surely that anger was there and she was going to use it on someone again.
Let do she know there soon would be an unexpected and unannounced visitor on Agasa's doorstep.
