Chapter 12
days later
"What about this one.?" Brooke asked.
As she turned around.
"Well you look amazing in everything you wear so what is this really about?" Peyton asked.
"Lucas Scott. I've done an internet search. He is very easy on the eyes. And successful in his own right as a writer."
"I doubt he's going to care what you have on. It's dinner."
"Not a date." Rachel said.
"Unless she wants it to be a date." Peyton asked.
Brooke glared at him. "I'm not dating him or anyone else."
"I clearly have terrible taste in guys."
"It's dinner with Bailey. If Lucas was into me."
"I don't think he would hide that. Who he dates has never been a secret. I doubt he's into me."
"Now i have a dinner to get ready for." Brooke said.
...
Awhile Later
I had planned for us to have dinner. Then for me and Bailey to leave. But to my surprise. The both of us had a better time then i saw coming.
And we ended up staying at dinner. For longer then expected.
Eventually we did have to leave the restuarant.
"This is nice. Maybe we could spend together just the two of us before you leave?" Lucas questioned.
Brooke swallowed hard.
Bailey was already in the car.
Brooke and Lucas were a few steps away.
"I think he would enjoy some quality time with his grandparents."
"Spending more time with you. Is something i want."
"I don't live in town. We're going to be leaving. After new years."
"I think it would be better if we didn't get too attached." Brooke proclaimed.
