The Gravesfield Graveyard, Dipper was walking along the ancient bridge looking at the sights. The graveyard itself looked ancient, probably built around Phillip's time.

He was here surveying the area since he knew that this was where Hunter was going to die in a few days. He sighed sadly. "Why does this need to happen? Why can't he just live?" Then he noticed something in the distant.

Something monstrous slimy and with blue eyes. The author narrowed his eyes at whatever the creature was like he knew it was someone he was about to meet. Someone he never wanted to meet.

What he was seeing looked like Belos. But it couldn't be Belos because Belos was dead. Dipper narrowed his eyes at what he was seeing and clenched his fists.

"Well, do you know who I am?" Dipper yelled out. "I'm Pacifica's boyfriend and I'm the one taking care of Hunter." The creature looked to be snarling. "That's right. You killed her because of how heartless you are." There was silence as the beast just stared at him while Dipper just angrily narrowed his eyes at him. "Well come on! Aren't you going to attack me?! Aren't you going to see what I'm made of?! Aren't you going to kill me the same way you did to Pacifica?! ANSWER ME!" He pulled out his weapon and aimed it at the monster before being interrupted by the sound of footsteps.

Turns out it was town buffoons, Jason and Quiet Kevin. "I can't believe we got a restraining order from the police station. Why did my sister need to work there?"

Dipper quickly put his weapon away as he turned to face the buffoons. Then when he turned back to where Belos was standing, he saw that he was gone. He wondered if he was actually there or if he was just an illusion. He hoped it was the latter.

"Hey, aren't you Mason Pines?" Jason asked.

"My latest book sucked." Dipper said before walking away from the surprised duo. "Why don't you go ahead and try and not be predictable or stop being a cheap copy of some comedy movie characters."

Quiet Kevin looked at the surprised Jason with an eyebrow raise. "Yeah, yeah. We should really stop basing our personalities from movies. By the way, we're supposed to pick up our brothers today. So let's go ahead and do that." Quiet Kevin nodded his head before him and his quiet friend walked away. "Man, they're gonna be stoked that we talked to Mason Pines and the way he insulted our lifestyle."

Meanwhile at the cabin, Amity, Sasha, Gus, Hunter, Grime, Vee and Willow are hanging out together in the abandoned cabin, which has remodelled thanks to Marcy, Vee, Masha and Amity. Flapjack was busy hopping about and pecking the floor while the other palismen are sleeping. Willow takes a picture while everyone else looks down at a tablet trying to speak Spanish.

They were mumbling and trailing their R's. "Come on Anne, you're doing Spanish." Anne complained.

"Gosh I didn't realise how many R's there are." Sasha remarked.

"Why do you humans need more than one language system?!" Grime exclaimed.

Gus mumbled. "Am I doing this right?"

"Tres tristes tigres comen en tres tristes platos de trigo." Vee said.

The app flashed a gold star on the screen. "Perfecto! You're our top student!" The app exclaimed.

"Hmm, I was top student once." Amity grumbled.

"Okay, does anyone wanna learn Thai?" Anne asked.

Vee grinned. "Lng thabeīyn c̄hạn."

Anne narrowed her eyes at her. "Oh come on! I can't even speak Thai. When did you do this?!"

"I use it all the time to learn languages." Vee replied. "Not just Spanish or Thai. I also used it for Malaya to communicate with Masha." She hung her head down sadly at the mention of her ex. "Masha…Masha…" She shook her head and wiped away a stray tear. "That doesn't matter. What's Flapjack doing?"

The group all turned to the little Palisman, whom was still pecking at the floor for whatever reason. "He's still at it." Gus remarked.

"He won't tell me what he's looking for." Hunter said.

"Treasure." Grime theorised.

"Or maybe some food!" Gus exclaimed.

"Or a puzzle box." Anne and Sasha mumbled simultaneously. They heard what they said and began to stare at each other with baffled expressions. "Don't do that. Stop it!"

"What did you two say at the same time?" Gus asked with a smile on his face.

"Nothing!" Anne and Sasha said simultaneously.

Then, came a knock at the door and it opened to reveal Camila. "Hi." She said. "Ooh! I like what you've done with the place. No more exposed nails or possum nests. But this still confuses me." She moved the door to reveal a painting of Hooty.

"Yeah, he still confuses us too." Willow said.

"I still remember how I tasted to him." Grime shuddered. "I bet he still remembers."

"Hola Camila." Gus waved at the woman. "We're learning Spanish from this scary owl app."

He showed the app to Camila where the mascot began to shift sinisterly. "Hoot hoot! Practice every day, or I'll appear in your nightmares."

"You sure that app doesn't belong in the Demon Realm?" Anne asked Sasha.

Camila shuddered at the app. "Oh, okay. Well, I'm going to pick Luz up from school. Pop quiz. ¿Como se dice eso en español? (How do you say that in Spanish?)"

Hunter stood up and inhaled. "Oh! Oh! Uh…Tres….Tres…Tres…" But he failed miserably.

"Muy bueno! Keep it up!" Camila left the shack and exhaled. "Woo! I can't imagine what it'd be like if I had to take care of 6 of them."

Back in the shed, Hunter sits down next to Gus as everyone but Amity, resumes learning Spanish from the tablet. Flapjack is seen still pecking on the floor which caused some of them to be distracted a bit.

"Taxi."

"Taxi."

"El gato gordo."

"El gato gordo."

Amity sighed. "Maybe we should take a break."

"A siesta." Willow said.

"Siesta!" Gus exclaimed.

"Remind me, that means go to war right?" Grime asked.

"We've been here for months, and we've made no progress on the portal door." Amity said. "I can't expect Camila to take care of me forever. And Gus, do you expect the Boonchuys to take care of you forever? Grime, same with you and the Waybrights? And Hunter, Willow, do you expect Dipper to raise you forever even after everything that's happened to him? Do you wanna get married here and, I don't know, raise a family?"

Willow and Hunter thought about it for a bit. "If it comes to that outcome, I wouldn't mind." Willow said before taking Hunter's hand into hers.

"Me neither." Hunter stared at Willow. "As long as you're here." Him and Willow shared a kiss which made Anne stare at him with worry.

She saw what was about to happen to Hunter and she had a feeling she'd have the inability to stop it.

Vee noticed Anne staring at Hunter and gave a raised brow. "Really? Hunter?"

"Amity has a point." Grime said. "Perhaps we should put our backs into it more. I'll make extra money by opening up my own dojo!"

"In the meantime, I could pull more weight around the kitchen." Gus said. "My mustard ravioli did bring tears to Mr Boonchuy's eyes."

"Those weren't tears of joy, dude." Anne said. "Also, that ketchup cereal was tear jerking as well."

"I'll help fix damaged clothes from our adventures." Hunter said.

"And I can spruce the garden." Willow said.

"Speaking of, you got it under control before we left, right?" Hunter asked.

Back in Gravity Falls, Stan walked out of the Shack into the back porch with a newspaper and Pitt cola in hand. "Time for me to fall asleep on the porch." Stan then looked up to see a giant monster plant snarling at him. The old man stared at it with fear before narrowing his eyes at it. "Oh, you wanna eat me, huh?!" He applied his brass knuckles to his fingers. "BRING IT ON!"

Back in Gravesfield, Willow shrugged her shoulders. "I'm sure it's under control."

A breeze blows through the open door before Amity stood up. "Maybe we need to look elsewhere. There's an entire Human Realm to search." She flinches due to a flash from Willow taking a picture of her.

"But Luz has school most of the week." Willow pointed out.

"Same." Anne and Sasha said.

"Also, we aren't here for long." Gus pointed out.

"So? Let's explore the town ourselves while you guys are still here anyway." Amity said. "After all, Luz went into the Boiling Isles on her own. And when you four return to LA, maybe you could have Anne's science friends help out."

"Well, when Terri's out of custody anyway." Anne said.

"And you two, you could travel the world with Dipper to search for anomalies that might help with you returning home."

"As long as there's no planes." Hunter shifted himself.

"If Eda came here before, maybe there were others. Maybe they left something behind we can use." Gus theorised.

"Makes sense." Sasha agreed.

"Yes! That's the spirit!" Amity exclaimed. "Together, there is no challenge that can hold us back." Then she accidentally stepped into the hole Flapjack was pecking through and fell face first on the wooden floor. "Ow!"

"It's a sign, we're doomed!" Gus exclaimed.

Sasha knew that this was the cue to retrieve the box from the floor and stood up. "Need help?" Sasha asked the witch.

Amity took Sasha's hand and pulled herself up. "Come on Flapjack, this isn't funny anymore. Also, is it just me, or did that feel singed?"

Sasha squinted her eyes before she noticed something. "Hey Amity, I think Flapjack was on to something." She got down on her knees and pulled out a red hexagonal box.

Amity took the box from Sasha's hand and opened it up to reveal some sort of scroll, she unrolled it causing everyone to gasp. "A scroll?" Amity reacted.

"Looks like a map." Willow remarked.

"Or a code." Gus theorised.

"Or some really old toilet paper." Grime's theory got everyone to stare at him with stunned expressions, causing him to get a bit defensive. "What? Am I not allowed to theorise?!"

"I don't know, I think Willow could be right." Anne said.

"Flapjack, is this what you've been looking for?" Flapjack tweeted. "What does it lead to?"

"That eye, it kinda looks like the old portal door." Amity remarked.

"Portal door!" Gus and Willow gasped. "Portal door! Portal door!" The two chanted.

"Portal door! Portal door!" Grime chanted with the two.

"Wait!" Sasha interjected. "There was a way back to the Demon Realm this whole time?! And Flapjack knew! I mean, I hate to be mad at something as cute as you but you couldn't have told us eight months ago?!" Sasha's face turned into a scowl.

"Well, we needed to recover." Gus said.

"We could have kept that path to us until we are ready!" Sasha exclaimed. "We train a little, get Dipper's gadgets ready and maybe get a goddamn army!"

"Sasha, calm down." Anne said.

"No, I am not calming down because these eight months have been completely pointless!" Sasha exclaimed. "If you told us sooner than Grime wouldn't have had a brush with death, Luz wouldn't be suicidal and K would still be alive! These eight months of random episode g adventures feel so entirely pointless!" For a brief moment, Sasha's eyes turned bright red and a gust of wind blew around her.

She panted while everyone stared at her. Hunter raised a brow. "Better?" Hunter asked condescendingly.

"Yeah, thanks." Sasha said. "Sorry for yelling at your Palisman."

"Well, I would have scolded him." Hunter said. "I seriously Flap, what a waste of months."

Grime huffed. "What's next? Belos is alive?" Sasha and Anne pulled on their collars while Flapjack shifted his eyes.

"We should tell Luz, Marcy and Dipper about this!" Vee exclaimed.

"What if it's just another dead end?" Amity asked. "Luz. already feels responsible for our other failed attempts. Marcy as well."

"Yeah, Dipper felt bad as well." Hunter said.

"Then, let's not tell her until we can figure it out." Willow said. "Using our buff brains!"

"Buff brains!" Willow exclaimed.

"Buff brains!" Everyone exclaimed except for Hunter.

"Yeah!" Hunter laughed nervously.

"What's this about buff brains?" Dipper asked as he entered the shack.

Amity quickly hid the map behind her back. "Oh, we're just getting at Spanish."

"Really?" Dipper asked. "Que bueno eres?" (How good are you?)

"Muey bueno?" Gus reacted.

"Well, I feel like a bad horror movie marathon." Dipper said. "Anyone wanna watch The Day of the Dawn of the Night of the Unalive?"

"Yeah!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Zombie junk here we come!" Anne exclaimed.

As they exited the cabin, Hunter stopped to stare at Dipper. "Dipper, where were you all morning?"

"Oh ya know, since we're here, I thought to myself, 'why don't I explore for anything interesting?' And well, I found some things." Dipper explained. "Saw a monster, tried to study it, but he got away."

"How did you know it was a he?" Hunter asked him.

Dipper rubbed the back of his head. "Well…Once you've seen every creature, you've essentially seen every gender."

"Doesn't make sense but I understand it." Hunter said with a smile. "You going to hunt it?"

"Yeah, might as well." Dipper said. "Got nothing to do before Halloween so why not a bit of a monster hunt? What about you?"

Hunter shrugged his shoulders. "Just, hanging out with my friends and girlfriend. Planning Halloween costumes. Me and Willow are going as O'Bailey and Bexley. What about you?"

"Oh, just one of the Doctors from Doctor What." Dipper replied as he pulled out a tool. "Which is perfect because I just rebuilt my Sonic Tool."

"Great." Hunter said. "You know when we get back to Gravity Falls, I was thinking we travel round the world for some inter dimensional anomalies that will help me and Willow get home."

"That won't happen." Dipper said.

"What?"

Dipper realised what he said and had to come up with a lie. "Well…Plane flights are expensive and well…I'm not exactly made of money."

Hunter sighed. "I understand. But I hope we'll get back soon."

Dipper gave a sad smile. "I believe you will. See you inside, I just gotta get a drink." Dipper began walking to the car to buy himself something.

Hunter walked back to the house where he noticed something about Dipper. "Why did he look sad?"

Meanwhile, Gus and Grime were preparing some popcorn where Gus was staring at the toad with a stern expression. "You gotta tell them about it?"

"I will." Grime said. "I just wanna tell them once this portal thing turns out to either be a success or a bust. I'd rather deal with their rage once this is over. So that way they won't get stressed during our battle with The Collector."

Gus sighed. "I understand. But don't tell them once you go back to Amphibia."

"Okay." Grime laughed. "Could you imagine just as Yunan and I are leaving for our home, the portal is about to abruptly close and the last thing I say before departing is 'By the way, I accidentally doomed your world. Byeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Gus laughed. "It'll be cruel. But somehow I like that bit of dark humour."

Meanwhile, Luz was at school during an English class with Marcy. She is cradling her egg in her lap underneath her desk. Marcy on the other hand was making notes in her book while the English teacher, Mr Sandoval, a man who looked to be of late forties to mid fifties with greying hair and glasses.

"'Foes vanquished, he trod the shores of his fatherland, family by his side, finally at peace'." He closed the book. "This epic ends with the homecoming of not just a man, but a hero."

"A hero?" Luz chuckled. "Everywhere he went, everyone suffered."

"It does get bleak, but no one said his mission would be easy. And when you take into account the ripple effects of his actions-"

"Who cares about the ripple effects?" Luz exploded, causing everyone, including Marcy, to stare at her. "He was just a pawn in someone else's game.!" She stands on her desk. "A-and he was never smart enough to realize it. If his friends and family knew about his mission, they'd know that their lives would have never been in danger if it weren't for him. They should hate his guts, and it would have been better if he literally never existed!"

Everyone stares at her in surprise, and Luz realizes what she just did. She sat back down and hung head head in shame.

"Okay, interesting take on the topic." Mr Sandoval coughed. "Uh….Okay, so, back to the themes of the story."

As he spoke, Marcy began whispering Amy. "Hey Amy, you ever mock Luz, just so you know, she has a girlfriend and I have a crossbow." Amy tightened her grip on her desk and whimpered.

The school bell rings and class is dismissed. Luz and Marcy walked out of the class together with Luz looking saddened and Marcy looking concerned.

"Luz, what was that?" Marcy asked her friend.

"Don't talk about it, Marcy." Luz said. "I just…I just…Can't…Look, I'll explain later."

"You know, I feel I saw this moment before." Marcy chuckled. "Specifically in a funny little vision that ended with you…" She remembered how that vision ended and froze in fear. She remembered her vision vividly and how every single one of them kept coming true, including the one from 15 minutes ago.

Luz stared at her with her scarred brow raised. "What?"

Marcy gave an awkward smile. "Everything ended happily. Ya know, we're all friends and we're constantly travelling from here to the Demon Realm."

"Oh." Luz said before continuing to walk away, alarming Marcy.

Luz walks by her art class to look at a sign that read, 'No taxidermy, no spiders, no snakes, no animal parts, no fireworks' which was clearly directed at Luz.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I said." Marcy said. "I know this is still sensitive to you."

"You don't know what I'm going through, no one does." Luz said. "No sympathy from anyone." Luz looks back at her art class and her teacher sees her, and gives her a dirty look. She sighed sadly and walked away.

Marcy narrowed her eyes at the art teacher. "Seriously, have some sympathy, lady!"

Later, Luz opens her locker, which is full of art of Eda and King. "Look, I know you miss them." Marcy said. "But we're going to get back."

Luz sighs. "I don't know anymore, Marcy. It's not like anything will help us."

When she closes it, some students, one round and the other lean, both with radical hairstyles, light greyish skin complex and piercings, are standing next to her.

"Hey, you're Luz right?" The skinny student asked the startled Luz.

"Uh…"

"And I'm Marcy!" Marcy exclaimed while offering her hand. "Say, you look like those slackers I see around town."

The second student groaned. "Great, you must have seen my brother, Kevin; And his brother, Jason."

"But enough about us." The first student said. "It's nice to meet you."

"You're the clumsy student right?" The second student asked.

"Oh come, on, I'm not that clumsy!"

Then, Marcy flash backed to moments where she was clumsy. Example, where she walked in the middle of a basketball game while playing her Twitch, causing her school team to lose.

Then, she was walking through the corridor still playing on her twitch until she got her foot stuck in a bucket without her noticing.

The in science class, she was running about while her jumper was on fire. "Ahhh!"

"Marcy, hold still!" Luz screamed as she chased her with a fire extinguisher in hand.

"Can't believe I passed that lesson with an A." Luz remarked.

"Anyway, Luz you were right in class." Student one said. "We read about too many crusty old dudes. Give me books about crusty old women!"

"I used to know one." Luz said as she sadly reminisced about Eda.

"So did I." Marcy said. "My grandma Lois. She always kept complaining. Heck, she even complained while she died."

"I've never seen you two around." Luz remarked to the two students.

"We're new, but we've heard all about you." Student one said.

"Are you gonna make another crazy costume for Halloween this year?" Student two asked.

"Cause if you are, we're volunteering at the Haunted Hayride." Student one said as he handed Luz a pamphlet that caused Marcy some alarm as she saw that vision as well.

"Old Gravesfield is the most haunted place in the state." Student two said.

"You gotta come." Student one said while Luz hung her head down.

"Oh, we are going!" Marcy exclaimed. "As well as my friends from Los Angeles."

"Oh, were they there at Frogvasion?" Student two asked. "My brother Kevin is a professional filmmaker and knows that couldn't be fake."

Later, Luz was in her mother's car with containers of food in her lap sadly looking out the window, while her mother drove. "Do you think this food is okay?" Camila asked. "Ah... I wish I knew how to make demon food for your friends. Would they, um, prefer to drink blood?"

"Mom." Luz interjected.

"Ay, I'm sorry." Camila said. "I'm just saying if we need to find a way, we'll find a way."

"No! Look out!" Luz exclaimed.

Both gasp and Camila brakes the car. They looked forward to see that a car crash had occured and a woman is giving a police report with her daughter and what appeared to be Dipper, whom had a cut on his head.

"Oh, it was so scary." The woman said. "It just came out of nowhere."

"You did hit Mason Pines." The officer pointed out. "Everyone has a grudge against him."

"No!" The woman protested. "That deer really spooked us. It had nothing to do with Mr Pines. Even though his latest book was terrible." Dipper rolled his eyes. "Will my insurance cover this?"

"But, Mommy, it wasn't a deer. It was a monster!" The girl exclaimed.

Dipper held on to his bloody head and looked across the road where he saw some strange goop running away. He was baffled for a moment until it began to shift into something bigger.

It looked like a monster he saw in Gravity Falls back then. When he was in the forest with Hunter, Willow, Wendy and Mabel which almost lead to them dying due to his lust for vengeance.

But then, Camila's car stopped in front of him and she looked over her daughter to get into eye contact with him. "Dipper, we have a guest room if you need a place to stay."

"Okay." Dipper said.

"Do you need a lift to the hospital?" Camila asked. "Nah, I'll be fine. It's just a cut. You can just drive on home, I'll catch up."

"Okay, see you back."

Once she drove off, Dipper saw that what looked like Belos was gone. Then, he got on his feet and exhaled.

Later, after eating the leftover food Luz and Camila brought, Dipper was going to bed in the guest bedroom. "Hey, thanks for letting me use the guest bedroom!"

"It's okay!" Camila yelled from a distant.

Dipper closed the door and exhaled. "It can't be him. You're just hallucinating. But that little girl saw him."

Meanwhile, in Gravity Falls, Wendy, Rev and Rocky were in bed giving each other kisses. "I can't wait for Halloween." Rev said with a smile. "I feel like dressing up as one of those demons from Hellbound. You know the ones I'm talking."

Wendy grinned with malicious intent while Rocky was blushing. "Oh yes. I'd love to."

"Okay, Wendy it's your turn." Rev wrapped her arms around Wendy. "Ready?"

"You better believe I…." Wendy's smile vanished when she heard her phone ring. "…Hang on, my phone's ringing." She crawled out of bed and toward her phone, leaving Rev disappointed. "Yo Dipper. What's up?"

"How are things back in Gravity Falls?" Dipper asked as he sat down on his bed.

"Eh, Melody and Soos had the baby." Wendy said. "They named him Hunter Raimirez."

Dipper smiled. "Really? That's amazing." He sighed sadly. "Wendy, something bad is happening in Gravesfield. I think Belos might be alive."

"What?" Wendy reacted. "Are you sure?"

"I hope not." Dipper said.

"You gotta tell Hunter about it." Wendy said. "Heck, maybe everyone else."

Dipper sighed. "Wendy, as much as I think it's a good idea. Remember the last time what happened when we thought Belos was alive? Hunter got hurt. I don't want to be responsible for his death."

"Is it even clear how he dies?" Wendy asked.

"Something had control of his body." Dipper said. "I don't know what it was but….Uh! Look, I'm gonna handle this when it happens. I'm tired and I'm going to bed." He hung up on the phone abruptly, not wanting to further discuss the situation.

He sat on the bed and pressed his hands against his face with a groan. "Why?! Why can't I stop it?"

Meanwhile, downstairs in the basement, Hunter was busy sewing something. "Thanks for helping, Gus." Camila yelled from the distant.

"Anytime. Good night!" Gus got halfway down the stairs before he jumped down onto the sofa serving as his bed. "Whoo! We've got a big day ahead of us, so I'm gonna buenas this noches."

Hunter was busy sewing until he accidentally cut his finger. "Ow." He began to suck on it while Gus watched on.

"You good?" Gus asked. "That sounded painful."

Hunter scoffed. "I've been training in the Emperor's Coven for as long as I can remember. I think I can handle a little…" He accidentally cuts his finger, causing him to wince. "...pain."

Gus cringed. "Ooh. That went clean through." He summoned a spell circle and helped bandaged Hunter's damaged finger.

"Mabel taught me how to use this sewing contraption." Hunter explained. "Even Darius's stitches have never been this neat. Oh, and look at what I made!" He holds up a shirt with wolves in front. "These are mystical beasts called wolves, and I love them." His eyes shimmered like sparkle.

"That looks great." Gus said. "You know, Willow says you've been smiling a lot more since we've been here."

"Well…I don't know if I want to go home." Hunter said. "On the one hand, having Willow as my girlfriend is amazing and I'd love to be with her in the Demon Realm. But on the other hand, I like living in the Human Realm. Sure, Gravity Falls has dangers but I'm perfectly happy with Dipper and the rest of the gang. Dipper is a bit harsh, but ever since we lost Pacifica, he's been here for me like that big brother I never had. As well as the others like Wendy, Mabel, Soos, even Stan and Ford have their moments."

"It's good to see you happy." Gus said. "One of us might as well be. What was it like to be in the Emperor's Coven for so long?"

"I trained a lot." Hunter replied as he painfully began to reminisce. "I studied a lot. I wasn't really allowed to be around the other scouts. But weekends were nice. I got to leave the castle for missions."

"Do you miss it?" Gus asked.

"I miss knowing who I'm supposed to be." Hunter admitted.

"I miss my Dad."

"We'll find a way back. We have to." Hunter's quote made Gus chuckle.

"Cosmic Frontier." Gus remarked. "What a series."

"I began reading it because of its similarities to our situation." Hunter said. "Especially O'Bailey and how he was just a clone on the run from his evil emperor."

"Then that got you and Willow together." Gus then realised something. "Huh, just like Luz and Amity with Good Witch Azura."

"Cosmic Frontier is so cool." Hunter said. "I wish there were more books in the series."

Gus grinned as he jumped off the couch. "Well…" He walked toward a closet and opened it up to reveal some Cosmic Frontier memorabilia. "…I found some more. A ton had spelling errors."

At the Wu residence, Marcy was fast asleep in her bed, Grime was knocked out in his sleeping bag while Anne and Sasha were laying in their sleeping bags wide awake.

"Hey Anne." Sasha whispered.

"Can't sleep?" Anne asked quietly.

"No." Sasha replied.

"The visions?"

"Yeah."

Anne sighed. "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know." Sasha replied. "You saw Hunter die and I saw balls of lights float into the sky. Could that be Hunter's spirit passing on?"

Anne sighed. "I hope not. Real question is, what do we do?"

"Do we tell Marcy?" Sasha asked. "She could have had visions similar to us."

"No." Anne replied. "I don't want her to feel stressed out. We talk to her about them once we're in the Demon Realm."

But unbeknownst to them, Marcy was listening to them. Her heart sank at the mention of Hunter's upcoming death but it also sank because now she knew she was not alone on the visions.

In the girls' room, Luz is wide awake staring at the stars just on the bunk above her, feeling tired and sad. She picks up her palisman egg and leaves the room, spilling some of the things on her desk.

Amity hears the noise and wakes up; she finds the flyer for the Haunted Hayride and picks it up. "Don't worry Luz." She said. "We're going to get back."

Meanwhile, Camila was researching the Demon Realm while in bed. "They don't hate garlic like vampires, but they weren't entirely against eyeballs when we were watching that zombie movie. Gus said I could get apple blood from the apple butcher, but…" She yawned "...until I find one of those, I'll have to use food colouring."

As Camila drifts off to sleep, she begins to have flashbacks in the form of a dream. Her first was of a 4-5 year old Luz digging until she found something.

"Look what I found!" She showed a group of kids what looked like the shedded skin of a snake.

"Gross, don't touch that dead thing."

"Ew."

"Gross."

"It's not dead." Baby Luz said. "This is the skin of a garter snake. They shed their pyjamas as they grow. It means there's a snake near us, and it just got a lot bigger!"

"Eww!" The kids ran away all while Camila watched from a nearby bench.

She chuckled. "She called them pyjamas."

But the nearby parents were not as pleased. "Ugh. So unhygienic. That girl must've been raised by wolves."

Camila turned to face the parent. "Hey, wolves are great parents and-"

She was suddenly thrown forward to the point where Luz was performing Romeo and Juliet with her performing as the titular female lead.

"Oh happy dagger, give me death." Luz cut opened her dress to reveal the sausages she had tucked in to act as her guts and various organs. The kids ran off the stage.

Camila chuckled at her daughter's performance. "Her dad taught her that."

But the two adults behind her were not impressed. "Gross! Now everything smells like lunch meat." The first adult complained.

"Yeah, she's such a try-hard." The second adult whined.

"Oye! What did you say?!" Camila exclaimed.

Then, she fell backwards off her chair and landed in the chair of the school's guidance counsellor, telling Camila about Luz's behaviour.

"I said, grief can manifest in different ways. Like how Luz has been acting out for attention." The counsellor said.

"Losing Manny was difficult for both of us, but Luz has always done things differently." Camila explained.

"Didn't you say you were bullied in high school, Mrs. Noceda?" He asked.

"Yes, but-"

"Luz hasn't made any friends, her grades are inconsistent, and I heard she brought a live snake to school." The guidance counsellor reached into his drawer and pulled out a pamphlet. "Take this. It could help her."

Camila took the pamphlet out of his hand and began to read it. "Reality Check Camp?"

"You don't want Luz to struggle like you did, right?"

"Mom?"

In that moment, Camila finally woke up from her dream. She looked at her door and saw her daughter with her Palisman egg. "Luz? What time is it?"

"Mom, why aren't you mad at me?" Luz asked sadly.

Camila sighed. "Oh, baby. Come here." Luz sadly walked to her mother and joined her in bed. "I've been terrified, sure. But believe it or not, I do understand what it's like to want to run away."

"I'm so sorry." Luz said as tears fell from her eyes.

"But the point is, you came home, and everything is okay now."

"But it's not." Luz pressed her hands against her head. "It's my fault everyone's trapped here. Pacifica dying! A-and I don't even know if King and Eda are okay. I wanted you to meet them so bad. But I keep messing up."

"Hey, everyone makes mistakes." Camila said. "What matters is you learn from them."

Luz stared at her mother sadly. "Could I sleep here tonight?" Camila nodded her head and kissed Luz's head. "Give the Palisman a kiss too." She does so and places the egg on the nightstand.

Meanwhile, Dipper was looking out the window as he drank some sleepy time tea to help sleep the night away. Then, he noticed something that made his heart drop. He saw a bunny with horns sticking out of its head which hopped off into the woods.

This caused Dipper some alarm as he narrowed his eyes. "That better be a jackalope."

The next day, Amity, Willow, Gus, Vee, Anne and Sasha are in the shack preparing to leave for the day to find the clues for the rebus.

"All right. Luz is at her mom's vet clinic putting tiny little bandages on 'hedgehogs'. While Dipper is looking for a jackalope. And Grime distracts Marcy."

"How?" Anne asked.

"Oh, I commanded that he does what she says." Sasha replied.

Meanwhile at the Wu residence, Grime was begrudgingly playing Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons with an excited Marcy.

"So then, you enter the Prancing Phony where a stunning maiden named May-Dan is awaiting you to heed the news of treasures of untold riches!" Marcy exclaimed with excitement.

"KILL ME!" Grime cried.

Outside, Death was watching. "Oh for frog sake, make up your mind."

Back in the Shack.

"So today, we're going into town to solve this code." Sasha declared.

"Okay, have we got everything?" Anne asked. "Ways to hide ears?"

Amity tucked hers behind her hair, Gus with a bandana and Willow by her braids. "Ears!" Gus declared.

"Do we have the routes?" Anne asked.

"Routes!" Vee replied while showing a map of Gravesfield.

"Snacks?" Anne asked.

Willow opened a back pack. "Check."

"Human disguises?" Anne asked.

"Check!" Hunter is revealed to be wearing an O'Bailey costume. "Eh?"

"That…Is a look!" Willow took a picture of him as O'Bailey.

"Oh frog help me." Anne shook her head.

"According to Cosmic Frontier, this is what the modern human male wears." Hunter said.

"This was written in the '90s about the year 2008." Vee said.

"Can't wait for that new year's party." Hunter said.

Anne sighed. "Oh Guardian help me."

Sasha turned to Amity. "Hey, how do the dates work in your world?"

"Hunter, I don't think the world is ready for the brave fashion choices of the year 2008." Amity said.

"Brave of you to humiliate yourself like that." Anne muttered.

"Please change." Sasha requested before some vines covered Amity's, Sasha's and Anne's mouth.

"Don't listen to them!" Willow exclaimed while the three just gave her a deadpanned look.

"Aww jeez, we're gonna miss the bus." Vee groaned as she looked at her phone and took human form.

"Oh, it's okay! I'll catch up." Hunter assured them. "There's a transport worm every half hour."

The witches, Basilisks and humans gave him a nod before departing with the Palismen. But before Willow left, she walked up to Hunter and kissed his lips.

"You better be wearing that on Halloween." Willow said.

After she left, Hunter gave a happy blush as he took off his headphones. Flapjack tweeted as he began to look at his reflection on the mirror on the desk. "You know, maybe you're right, Flap. Even if I'm not who I'm supposed to be...I like who I am right now."

Then, the Grimwalker saw something crawling on the floor and bent down to analyse it. He touched the weird sludge before he got up and looked at his reflection to see Belos staring back. He gasped in horror as he fell on his rear.

Meanwhile, the group had got off the bus and arrived at their first location, a place called The Magic Circle.

While Amity, Vee, Sasha and Anne interviewing the cashier about the map, Gus and Willow were looking around. The cashier told them that she didn't know until she became alarmed by some noise.

Gus knocks over a barrel while Willow, in a devil costume, pokes a customer with a pitchfork. Then, the kids are chased out by the cashier.

Willow returns to pay for the costume with a snail then leaves again. Until Sasha comes back to pay the cashier with some human currency.

As they cut through the park, Willow and Gus stop at two familiar-looking statues. Sasha and Anne stop to look at the statues where Sasha gives Philip the middle finger and Anne just gives the statue the reverse peace sign.

The kids all go to the library next. While Anne sleeps all through the books, Sasha was asking some experts while Willow, Vee and Gus interviewed the librarian.

Amity sees a card catalogue which she expected to be living, so she greets it, bows and tries to offer it some candy.

Sasha stares at the witch in confusion before casually pulling one of the drawers open, Amity screams. Then, she realised what she did and covered her mouth in embarrassment, she tries to run away and trips and falls on the candy.

Then, they head to the giraffe exhibit at the zoo. The witches stared at the creatures in fear while Anne and Sasha were just baffled at how they were so terrifying to them.

Gus bows to it, with no response. Anne and Sasha chuckled as they were leaving with the cautious witches and Basilisk, but Willow takes a photo which scares the giraffe and it opens its mouth to reveal a monstrous inside.

The witches, Basilisk and humans screamed in terror while Sasha pulled a small knife from her hair and aimed it at the creature.

Later, they arrived at the concession stand to have something to eat. "I don't blame our ancestors for banning those guys. Yeesh." Gus remarked.

"What the heck?!" Sasha exclaimed. "So giraffes are just evil demonic creatures?!"

"Gus, you were right?!" Anne asked in shock. "I thought you were joking!"

"Well, now you know giraffes are no laughing matter." Willow remarked.

Then, the six notice a Dad and his three kids walking by. "Dad, can we go to the bird house?" One of his kids asked.

"In a minute." The Dad replied. "How about we eat first?"

"Yeah!" The kids cheered.

Amity, Willow and Gus looked away sadly as the sight of his Dad and his kids reminded them of their Dads. Anne and Sasha watched on sadly.

"What do we do?" Anne asked to Sasha.

"Do you have any idea?" Sasha whispered to Anne. "Did your visions say anything?"

"No. Yours?" Anne asked.

"No." Sasha mumbled. "Convenient."

"Well, me and Sasha don't have any ideas." Anne declared. "Maybe we could negotiate with the giraffes again."

"NOOOOO!" The witches screamed.

Then Vee sighed. "I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but... I think I know where to go next."

They later arrived outside the historical society where they notice the Basilisk looking awkward which the group took notice of.

"What's wrong Vee?" Anne asked.

"This was where she was held by that crazy human." Sasha replied. "Camila told me that story when we first met and on that long car journey to LA. Man, that was fun. Apart from being chased by those loons and Malsacc."

Amity sighed. "No, this is where Masha is working."

"Oooh, slightly less worse." Anne remarked.

"Oh yes! Your ex!" Gus exclaimed, causing Vee to whimper.

"You can stay out if you like, Vee." Willow suggested.

"Though I suggest you face it rather than hide it." Sasha said. "And don't worry, we'll have your back in case things get bad." Sasha cracked her knuckles.

"Sash, we are not kicking their ass." Anne said.

"No, we're just going to warn them before kicking their ass." Sasha's retort caused Anne to sigh.

"No, Sasha is right." Vee said. "I need to face this."

"Okay, but let's be a bit discreet." Amity said.

Then, Vee kicked the door open and screamed with her fists raised, causing Masha some alarm. "Vee?"

Vee froze with awkward embarrassment. "Sorry."

Masha sighed as they turned to their magazine to try and avoid eye contact with their ex. "What do you want?"

"Look, I know we haven't spoke since the funeral." Vee said as she walked in with her friends. "But I don't want to talk about that."

Masha placed their magazine down like they were offended. "Oh, you don't?!" They folded their arms.

"Wait! That's not what I mean!" Vee argued with her hands raised.

"Then, what did you mean?!" Masha exclaimed. "After a month of not talking you suddenly decide to burst in with these friends of yours?!" They smiled at Amity. "Hey Amity, how's Luz?"

"Well, she's fine sometimes." Amity said.

"Masha, can we at least talk about what happened to the funeral?" Vee asked. "You don't need to. I know what I said was wrong."

"No! You just had to say some cliched crap about how the ones we love aren't really gone." Masha said. "Well K is gone! He was killed by some monster!"

"Okay, it wasn't her fault." Anne said.

"What are you guys even doing here?" Masha asked. "Wanna tell me some bull crap Vee told me?"

"No, but I've been saving a knuckle sandwich for a long time." Sasha retorted as she raised her fist but was quickly stopped by Amity.

"We're actually here to ask about this old puzzle. Do you know how to decode it?" Amity asked. "I know we haven't spoken in a while Masha, but please. It's probably the only way to get back to the Demon Realm."

Masha sighed. "Okay. I mean, we did so much together after all. But this what you are holding is a rebus. They dug up a bunch of these in Old Gravesfield."

"A rebus?" Gus asked.

"Marcy would most likely know." Anne said.

"A rebus. It's like a riddle where pictures and symbols make up a word. Like- Come here. What do you think they were trying to say?"

Gus pulls his beanie down. "Chop off an ear?!"

"Um….Portal here?" Anne asked.

"See the H that comes first?" Masha asked. "Then combine that with the ear and maybe it means "hear" like, to listen. Or, "here" as in a place. Maybe something is waiting somewhere. So gold points to you, Anne."

Anne pumped her fist. "Take that Marcy!"

Gus folded his arms. "Show off."

They lead the group to a map of old Gravesfield. "This might help you." Then their phone rang. "I'll be right back."

Vee watched as their ex walked off to answer their phone. She sighed sadly before turning back to her friends.

The six began to look at the rebus to search for the message. "If this is a portal door then what about these?" Amity asked. "A-a ribbon, and tanning a hide?"

"That ribbon is tied together." Willow said.

Gus squinted his eyes. "This is leading us to..."

"Tie-Tan's blood?"

Amity, Gus, Sasha, Anne and Willow gasped. "Titan's blood?!"

"Holy crap!" Sasha said. "Marcy will be so proud!"

"It's like you're reading each others' minds. You must have been friends forever!" Vee exclaimed.

The witches and humans rubbed their arms awkwardly. "It wasn't always like this." Amity said.

"Especially with me and Sasha." Anne said.

"Yeah, I tried to kill her." Sasha admitted. "Twice."

"And let's not forget how you tried to have Luz dissected." Gus leaned to Amity, whom groaned in annoyance.

"Is anyone gonna let that go?" Amity asked in annoyance.

"These past few months have been weird but look at all the new memories I have now." She summoned her scrapbook which she began to show to her friends.

There were pictures of her and Hunter's time together in Gravity Falls. One was a picture of Hunter being blinded by the camera flash, Dipper and Wendy pranking Soos with a door to his hand, Dipper in prison for tearing off Blub's moustache, Hunter beating everyone at Dance-A-Beat Revolution, her, Dipper and Wendy riding dinosaurs while Hunter balanced off of the head of a T-Rex, doing the Macarena with Hunter, Hunter collapsing in front of the author of Cosmic Frontiers while dressed as O'Bailey, her and Hunter on their first date, her and Hunter having a stroll together, her holding a trophy for the Lumberjack game while Hunter blushed at her flashing her muscles, the two of them at the Summerween party, paragliding with Dipper, Hunter and Wendy while being chased by a paragliding troll, her and Hunter's first kiss at Pride Month, a sunbathing Hunter at Camp Krystal where they didn't notice a masked killer wearing a hockey mask standing behind the foliage, having a tea party with some woodland creatures, Quentin Trembley and King George III, Dipper's underwhelming birthday party, eating burgers with Genghis Khan, her, Dipper and Hunter posing with Humphrey Boggart and her, Dipper and Hunter posing by Mount Vesuvius mere hours before it erupted.

"Not gonna ask why you're eating burgers with Genghis Khan." Anne said. "But okay."

"You should see the stuff we did." Gus summoned illusions of his time in Los Angeles.

He showed him eating a disc while Mr Boonchuy panicked in the background, him and Mr Boonchuy re-enacting Cosmic Frontier together, helping Mrs Boonchuy clean the dishes with her smiling behind him, doing laser tag with Mr Boonchuy and Grime, swimming in the ocean while Grime fought a shark just behind him, watching a wrestling match, doing a prank war with Anne against Sasha and Grime, having a pool party at Sasha's house, that time he was at the convention, celebrating Independence Day, Grime fencing, Anne skateboarding, that time he was at the beach playing with the metal detector and him, Anne, Sasha and Grime at the museum.

"Yeah, those memories were fun." Sasha remarked.

"I also have some." Vee pulled her phone from her pocket and began to show everyone her photos.

But the first photo made her heart sank as she saw it was when she went in her first date with Masha. She stared at the photo sadly before quickly swiping it to the next ones.

They included Luz's Quinceanera, her and Masha kissing while she was in Basilisk form, a prank war which ended with most of the town covered in Abomination, having dinner with Masha's family along with K, at a convention in her basilisk form while Masha was dressed as a witch from their favourite book series, seeing fireflies, Amity trying to attack a family of Taiwanese ghost hunters in some other universe while Luz tried to hold her back, river rafting, that time there were at a Pride parade together where there was a point where Marcy was pulling a pained expression since she had her foot ran over by a parade float, watching Hocus Bogus, that Fourth of July celebration where Marcy accidentally set her jumper on fire, relaxing in a field where Luz and Amity slept, Marcy was reading on a tree branch and Vee and Masha were kissing and that time at the beach.

"Wow, I can't wait to share these with everyone at home." Amity said.

"Should we add one more memory?" Vee asked.

"Aw, come here Vee!" Willow pulled everyone in for a photo.

"Everyone say giraffes are still terrifying!" Gus exclaimed.

The group laughed. "Yup. I can agree." Anne said as the camera flash went off.

Vee then began to analyse the photo that just came out where she noticed something behind them. "Hmm. Hey. That map of Old Gravesfield looks exactly like this. Do you think it's a map to a stash of Titan's Blood?"

"With that we can create a new portal!" Willow exclaimed.

"I can't wait to tell Luz, Marcy and Dipper." Amity said. "And I know how to surprise them."

Meanwhile, Masha was in the janitor's closet talking to their mother. "Look Mom…I don't know what to say to her…I can't help but get angry…You know I'm still grieving…I know get angry at my ex is no excuse for my grief but….Okay, I'll talk to her."

They walked out of the janitor's closet. "Hey Vee…." But unfortunately to them, everyone was gone.

Meanwhile at the Wu residence, Marcy and Grime were continuing with Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons with Grime getting into the game.

"I raise my warhammer high and smash the door open!" Grime exclaimed.

"You need to role an eleven!" Marcy said.

Grime rolled the 12 sided die and it landed on a perfect 11. "HA! I did it!"

"You completely shatter the so-called indestructible door where you meet the mighty Princess Unobtainable." Marcy allowed her eyes to shimmer like an Anime character. "'You have come for the treasure?' She questions you."

"I have, my lady." Grime said, playing along. "I have your key now what must I do?"

"'Give me a truth about yourself. So horrendous, so horrible that it could ruin any relationship you have with any other person.' The Princess requests." Marcy then noticed Grime looking uncomfortable. "Yo, Grime what's up?"

Grime sighed. "Marcy, there's something I need to tell people. I told Sasha, Anne and Gus about it, but nobody else."

"You mean how you accidentally helped Phillip with finding a way to destroy the Demon Realm?" Marcy responded.

"What?!" Grime exclaimed.

"I've been inside the Core's head." Marcy said. "I saw everything."

"Why didn't you say anything?!" Grime exclaimed.

"I assumed you know I'd know." Marcy said.

"I didn't!" Grime exclaimed. "Why aren't you angry?"

"Because I knew you were manipulated." Marcy sighed sadly. "Like me. I knew Andrias wanted the box but I should have just opened it and ended things right there."

"You made a mistake." Grime said.

"Just like you." Marcy said gently. "Everyone will understand."

"Will Luz?" Grime asked.

"Maybe with less self deprecation then maybe." Marcy replied. "I mean, it's not like she'll blast you with her Palisman. Whatever it will be."

Meanwhile at Camila's veterinarian clinic, Luz was in the break room drawing in her book while her Palisman egg rested under a lamp.

"What will you be, little palisman?" She asked. "A bird like Owlbert? A cool bug? Maybe an octopus, so we can hold hands? Maybe... maybe you'll never hatch. And I messed up your life too."

Camila walked in. "How's the lamp, Luz?"

"Just fine." Luz replied.

"Good, I'm ready to lock up." Camila said before walking off to lock up.

Luz removed her hand from her book where she drew a fire glyph. She then saw that it was smoking. "Huh?" She stared at it with a baffled expression.

Back at the house, Hunter was sitting on the edge of his bed looking tense after seeing what could have remained of his uncle at the cabin.

He looked to Flapjack who looked nervous. "Did you know about this? That he was here?" Flapjack looked away. "I can tell you're hiding something!" The Palisman chirped. "Sorry. I shouldn't take this out on you. I'm just scared." They heard the sound of vehicles parking up while Flapjack tweeted sadly. "Don't worry, Flap. If Belos is really here, I'll keep you safe."

Later, Hunter ran outside where he saw that Luz and Camila had returned. Camila and Hunter shared a quick smile as she walked inside.

"Hunter's what's wrong?" Luz asked.

"Belos." Hunter's response made Luz gasp. "Call Dipper."

Meanwhile, Dipper was deep in the Gravesfield woods asking questions. "Now are you sure you didn't see anything strange? Like a huge monster. Don't lie to me, I know you."

Turns out he was asking Gideon, whom was out for a stroll. "Monster?! You're kidding me, right, Dipper?! Oh for Pete, sake! I moved away from Los Angeles because of a supernatural threat and you know what? I'm out as well." He dialled a number. "Hey Sue…" He turned to Dipper. "…Sue's my girlfriend…" He went back on call with her. "…Remember that job opportunity you got from Oceanside? Yeah, you should take it…Forget my job!…Sorry, forget my job. I'll find a new one." He hung up. "Sorry Dipper, I'm leaving ASAP. If anything supernatural happens at Oceanside, you'll be the first person I blame!" He marched off top while Dipper stayed back looking at his old rival.

"Huh? Guess he has changed." Then he got a phone call and answered it. "Luz?" His face became alarmed. "What do you mean it's Belos?"

Later, Dipper arrived outside the cabin where Hunter and Luz stood waiting for him. "Are you sure you saw him?" Dipper asked Hunter. "I thought you said the Collector destroyed Belos."

"Looked like it from where I was standing." Luz remarked.

"I'm sure." Hunter said. "I'm sure."

"This seems dangerous." Luz said. "We should probably wait for the others."

"No!" Hunter protested. "We have to take care of this ourselves." He sighed. "Titan, I hate this! I was never scared as the Golden Guard."

Three masks blow in the wind. One of King, the other of an owl and the other of the Golden Guard. Luz picked them up and put the Titan one on.

"Then how about we bring back some of that masked confidence, huh?" Luz asked before growling.

Dipper put the Golden Guard one on. "And some firepower he hasn't seen before." He pulled out his energy sword.

"Actually Dipper, he held his own against an energy sword when he fought Pacifica." Luz pointed out.

Dipper put his weapon away. "Well I hope he's prepared for bigger firepower." Dipper reached into his back and pulled out a massive energy gun that he held with two hands. "He's gonna away with his tail between his legs."

"Belos doesn't have a tail." Hunter pointed out.

Then, the group burst in with Hunter using Flapjack, Luz using a bat and Dipper using his gun. "All right, Belos! What's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what we say." Hunter commanded.

"That's right! So come out with your hands behind your creepy, dumb head!" Luz commanded.

"I promise Belos you will live if you come out just nicely." He cocked his weapon. "And for the sake of everyone, read a history book. Like, the witch hunts are over and most of the planet have grown a few more brain cells."

They began walking deep into the cabin where all they heard were the creaking of the floorboards they were standing on, the whooshing of the wind and the leaves being blown by it.

They walked further into the cabin, ready to face whatever threat will come out. So far, nothing.

They walked down into the basement where they saw a closet shaking. This got them on high alert as they slowly approached it.

Dipper aimed his gun at the closet and motioned Luz and Hunter to stand behind him. They did as they were told as he held the knob and pulled it open.

Then after a few seconds, an opossum popped out, startling them and causing Dipper to almost fire a round. The creature hissed before running away.

Hunter slammed the door shut and pressed his back on the door along with Dipper and Luz. "Oh, thank goodness. It's just a little angel." Luz sighed with relief.

"A little angel filled with rabies." Dipper retorted.

"I guess it was just in my head." Hunter said.

Dipper lifted his mask up. "Well, can't blame you for being paranoid after everything we've been through."

"Yeah. You know, I just wanna make sure everyone's safe." Hunter said.

"Same." Dipper said as he turned to Hunter. "That goes to you as well."

"What?" Hunter reacted.

"That promise I made to Pacifica, remember?" Dipper asked. "I have to watch out for you as well. You're more important to me than you realise. Pacifica dubbed you as her brother. And if that makes you her brother, than that…In some legal terms in a better world, my brother as well. Guess what I'm saying is, you're family now. A Pines."

"Oh…" Hunter looked away and began sobbing his eyes out.

Dipper instantly pressed his hand against his shoulder while Luz just watched on. Then, Hunter began to hug Dipper which he returned. "I know. I know, it's overwhelming. I just want you to know Hunter, no matter what happens next, you're always gonna be family. And I love you, kiddo."

Hunter laughed. "This mask is pretty gross now." Hunter took off the mask just as the trio laughed.

"Let's get back before anyone worries." Luz suggested.

"Yeah. Everything's fine. Belos is gone." Hunter said.

As they walked up the stairs, there was a very sinister sight. Unseen by either of them, Hunter's shadow has horns atop his head.

Later, Dipper, Luz and Hunter enter the house where they find Amity, Sasha, Anne, Marcy, Grime Gus, and Willow digging through boxes in the living room as Camila drinks tea.

"I still think going as myself is a good idea." Grime complained.

"Grime, just pick a costume!" Sasha protested. "We don't want you to get spotted."

"Oh hey guys, where have you been?" Anne asked the three.

"Oh, we were buying…Uh….Some cars?" Hunter responded.

Dipper quickly had to come up with a lie. "Yes. Luz and Hunter were helping me with finding me a new car after my old one got destroyed."

"How's your head by the way?" Sasha asked.

Dipper touched his bandaged head. "It's fine. Just a scratch." As he did that, Luz tossed her bat away.

"Luz, we're just designing our costumes." Amity informed her girlfriend.

"Yeah, I'm going as my favourite character from my favourite Anime Spaceboy Beep Boop." Anne did a pose. "Steve Spiegel. Which is what I saw in a vision."

"Vision?" Luz reacted.

"Nothing." Anne said.

"Yeah, it was nothing." Dipper lied as he looked away awkwardly.

"And I'm going as SuperLady." Sasha said. "Simply because I look good in a cape."

"And I'm going as me!" Grime exclaimed.

"Grime!" Sasha chided.

"Sasha, you know full well I am going to fit in." Grime protested. "Besides, I'd be a popular Halloween costume."

Sasha sighed. "No use into arguing."

"And I'll be dressed in my ranger outfit." Marcy said before rolling up her sleeve to reveal her wrist mounted crossbow. "Crossbow included in case we encounter problems." She accidentally released one of the arrows, causing it to fly towards Hunter.

This alarmed Dipper as he tried catching it. But then, Hunter caught it in-between his fingers before it could make contact with his face.

"And don't have it loaded on the day." Hunter said.

"And since it's Halloween, I'll be dressed as one of the Doctors from Doctor What." Dipper said.

"While I'll be dressed as one of the best characters in all of fiction, Captain Avery from Cosmic Frontier." Gus declared.

"While I'll be dressed as O'Bailey while my Lieutenant…" Willow blushed at Hunter's words. "…Will be dressed as Lieutenant Bexley."

"Oooh, I should have gone as Doc." Grime said.

Camila gulped. "How do you guys know of Cosmic Frontier?"

"Oh, I found it at the Mystery Shack." Hunter said.

"Same here." Willow said.

"Mr Boonchuy got me into it." Gus explained.

"And I got into it on my own fruition." Grime lied. "Not because I could connect with my witch son."

"Grime, downstairs in the basement, there's a bunch of Cosmic Frontier stuff." Gus informed him.

Grime grinned before standing up, skipping away and giggling like a gossiping girl.

Camila on the other hand was disturbed by the mention of Cosmic Frontier. "Oh!" She laughed. "Funny how things just show up in basements, right? Without you hiding or putting them there." She laughed again. "Life sure is full of surprises!"

"Cool, humans get freaked out just like us." Gus said.

Dipper approached Camila and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay. Pacifica was a closeted nerd as well."

"It'll be fun. We want to experience your weird human traditions." Gus said.

"And Luz, I thought you and I could take inspiration from... Good Witch Azura The Movie 2: The Betrayanning." Amity pressed play on the remote which showed Azura protecting Hecate from the evil Villainous Lucy.

"Hecate! I'll protect you!"

"Give her over, Azura. It's for your own good."

"Never!" Azura fired her staff straight towards Lucy.

"I could be the Hecate to your Azura." Amity said as she held up a drawing of Hecate and Azura, "What do you think?"

"Yeah! Let's do this!" Luz pulled Amity in for a hug.

"How could you do it, Villainous Lucy?" Azura exclaimed. "How could you betray your friends? Now everyone is gone!"

"It was for the greater good!"

"We will never forgive you Lucy! Never!"

Both Luz and Grime stared at the screen with guilt on their faces, feeling like that in some capacity, they were Lucy.

Later that night, Luz couldn't sleep again due to all the anxiety rushing through her body. She turned to face her sleeping girlfriend with a smile before it turned into a frown and got off her bed.

She grabbed her laptop and walked straight into the kitchen to record a video. She deleted the ones from the last eight months before recording a new entry.

"Dear Diary, all I ever wanted was to be good at something, to be around people who also liked that something. And when I found the Demon Realm, I-I thought, 'Wow, I found it. I can learn magic. I can be a witch. I-I won't be the dummy in the principal's office anymore!' But I messed up too much, and put everyone in danger. Mama says I need to learn from my mistakes." A single tear falls down her cheek. "So, I know what I have to do now…"

The next day at the Haunted Hayride, Camila and the Wu's are dropping everybody off. Amity is dressed as Hecate, Luz as Azura, Willow as Bexley, Anne as Steve Spiegel, Sasha as Super Lady, Marcy in her ranger outfit, Gus as Avery, Hunter as O'Bailey, Grime as himself and Dipper in a long blue overcoat, maroon trousers, black shoes, tweed waist coat and grey neck tie.

"Be safe dears." Mrs Wu said. "And Marcy, don't eat too much candy. Remember what happened last Halloween?"

"Come on Mom, I had a slight sugar rush." Marcy protested.

"You were running laps around the H of the Hollywood sign." Mr Boonchuy reminded her.

The witches pocketed their Palisman so no one could see them. While Luz chatted with her mom, Amity got the others except for Dipper and Marcy in a circle to explain the plan.

"Make sure to help Vee with the trick-or-treaters. You know, they can be... demanding." Luz said to her mother.

"You sure you're okay?" Camila asked. "You looked like you haven't slept well."

"I'm fine Mom." Luz assured her. "I was just excited about today."

"All right. We'll keep the puzzle a secret 'till the time is right. And then we'll tell them about the Titan Blood!" Amity said.

"Got it." Grime said.

Then Hunter heard the sound of Belos laughing. "Did you hear that?" Hunter looked around the place to look for a sign of them. Flapjack chirped. "Hey, it's okay. It's probably just in my head again. Nestle down, Flapjack." Flap nestled down into his owner's pocket.

Luz rendezvoused with the group where Amity placed her hands on her shoulders. "We're gonna have the best night, and we might even have surprise for you."

"Yeah, me too." Luz said sadly.

They began walking through the Halloween festival where they saw people apple bobbing, stands selling toffee apples, stands selling candies and a ton of people in costumes.

Marcy rolled up her sleeve to admire her crossbow which Dipper seemed concerned by. "You sure it's safe?"

"Sashy and Anne have their swords, Grime has his warhammer while you have an assortment of gadgets at your disposal." Marcy retorted. "I'm pretty sure I got it handled." She accidentally fired it, causing it to make impact with something.

"My guitar!" Darryl cried.

"Shut up, Darryl!" Grime exclaimed. "Boy, feels so long since I said that." Then Grime noticed someone in a peculiar costume. Someone was dressed like exactly like him, causing the toad some confusion. "Uh….What?"

"Ohhh, a live performance." Anne remarked just as the others ran up to see it while Grime was confused.

"Is no one going to say anything about this?!" Grime mumbled grumpily as he rejoined the group.

The show appeared to have three of the town residence. One dressed as an inquisitor, the other dressed as a judge and the other dressed as an accused witch trapped in some stocks.

"I hath seen the Mrs. Smith consorting with spirits unpure!" The inquisitor exclaimed.

"Is this true Mrs Smith?" The judge asked.

"Nay, 'tis a fool lie! Inquisitor Jones is tarring me a demon's varlet so as to take mine fields!" Mrs Smith exclaimed.

"Demon Lies!" The Inquisitor yelled.

Gus ran up on stage to interrupt the show. "Your honor, I do object! It is Inquisitor Jones who's in league with the dark forces!"

The inquisitor broke character and began whispering. "Hey kid, quit upstaging me."

Grime ran up stage. "Tis' true, for I have seen it with my own eye! Sir Gus Avery of the Frontier, care to do ye honours?"

"But of course Sir Grimothy!" Gus drew a spell circle and turned the inquisitor's legs into hooves.

"Aaahhhh! What's happening?!" The inquisitor galloped away while everyone cheered.

Grime and Gus gave a bow where the woman pecked Grime on the cheek. She gagged a bit while Grime just shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry, that's my mucus. Worked really hard on the costume." The audience continued to cheer and applaud their performance. Except for one so-called critic.

"Why are you clapping?!" He climbs over the barrier and runs in stage. "This child and toad are demon spawn. And they want your teeth!" He snatches off Gus' headset. "Look! Look at his ears! He's from Mars."

"Hey, lay off the costume, man!" Gus demanded.

"Uh…The toad man!" Jacob was about to pull Grime's face but then the toad grabbed his wrist and began applying pressure, causing him to scream.

Grime then raised the man high over his head, which made everyone cheer. "Hey, put me down!" He demanded.

"Where?" Grime then threw Jacob over the crowd and he landed on top of Darryl.

"My spine." The obnoxious kid croaked.

Later, Dipper was talking with Grime and Gus. "Did you need to do that?" Dipper asked. "People are probably going to get suspicious."

"Well Inquisitor Jones was a terrible actor and Jacob is a jerk." Gus retorted. "I don't think they did care."

"Fair enough." Dipper begrudgingly agreed.

Then, the group arrived at the haunted hayride which consisted of a tractor and Masha as the tour guide. They were currently dressed as a witch. They saw that Vee wasn't with them and sighed sadly.

But once they were close they quickly put on a smile. "Come all and bear witness to the terrifying tale."

Dipper then pulled out his wallet. "How much for the ride?"

"It's five bucks each." Masha said. "But since this was the group that humiliated Jacob's stupid ass, they can get on for free."

"I love abusing my strength!" Grime exclaimed as and the group got on.

"But for you Mr Pines, it will cost you 25."

"What?!" Dipper exclaimed.

"It's how much I spent on your book and I want my money back." Dipper begrudgingly pulled out 25 bucks and handed it to Masha.

"I hope you're all prepared for a truly scary ride." Masha said.

"Make us cry!" Anne, Gus, Willow and Sasha chanted. "Make us cry!"

"Because there is nothing scarier than knowledge." Masha said.

"Boo! Just lie to us!" Gus exclaimed.

"Actually knowledge is scary." Anne said. "Anyone hear of Gustave the Crocodile?"

"Oh yeah, he's actually a mutated Nile crocodile grown in an underground laboratory." Dipper's explanation got Anne and Sasha to raise an eyebrow.

"Let me tell you the eeriest unsolved mystery of Gravesfield." Masha said. "The Tale of the Brothers Wittebane."

The group shuddered. "Wittebane? Is at that Belos?" Amity asked her girlfriend.

"I think we're about to hear a retcon." Dipper remarked. "Honestly, everyone gets the story wrong."

The year is 1613. Two orphaned brothers arrive in Gravesfield." Cardboard cutouts of the brothers popped out as Masha narrated. "Their names? Philip...and Caleb."

"Oh no." Hunter said.

"Caleb did his best to take care of his younger brother. They tried to fit in with this town, and its unsavory practices. They became witch-hunters! Local lore suggests that the Brothers Wittebane met a real witch from another world! Her name was Evelyn. And the older brother was spirited away. She dazzled him with magic and visions of a strange yet beautiful place. They used a secret code to travel between worlds. Philip set off to save his brother and bring the witch to justice. But neither were ever seen again! Maybe Philip saved Caleb, and they went on to lead peaceful lives. Or maybe…" Masha turns on a flashlight and points it at their face. "…he's still chasing his brother, caught in a cycle of horror and strife." The group gasped in horror. "Sounds like big bro got a hot witch girlfriend and little bro got upset. But that's just me."

As they got off the tractor, Hunter heard the sinister laugh of Belos. He looked into a forest and saw the silhouette of his uncle. He gasped in horror before pulling Dipper and Luz behind the tractor.

"Luz…Dipper."

"What's going on?" A sudden Grime asked.

"Grime?" Hunter reacted. "Why are you…It doesn't matter!"

"What's wrong?" Dipper asked.

"It's him. He's here! I saw him this time. And it wasn't in my head after all. You three believe me, right?" Asked the terrified Hunter.

"Well, what is he doing here?" Luz asked. "How could he be here?"

"Well it's his hometown, makes perfect sense to me." Dipper said.

"It's not just that!" Hunter said. "Titan Blood. I'm not supposed to tell. But the secret code Masha mentioned, it's a puzzle, a rebus we found in the shack. Amity thinks it leads to Titan Blood!"

"Titan's blood?" Dipper reacted.

"Puzzles? Amity?" Luz reacted.

"You two did so much for us." Hunter said. "We wanted to do something for you two and Marcy and she was gonna surprise you two and Marcy with it tonight."

"That is so sweet!" Luz said with uncertainty.

"I guess you're having second thoughts." Dipper said.

"Wait what?" Luz reacted.

"Hey, where are Luz and Hunter?" Amity asked.

"Grime?!" Sasha yelled.

"Dipper! Hunter!" Willow cried out.

"We need to get that rebus." Dipper said.

"We need to find the Titan Blood first." Luz said. "Just to make sure. I don't wanna freak anyone out yet."

"You don't believe me do you?!" Hunter exclaimed.

"Nod in said we didn't." Dipper assured him. "We just have to be sure. Remember what happened the last time we thought Belos was real? You were hurt."

Hunter looked away briefly before groaning. "Fine. I'll prove he's here." Hunter said. "Flapjack!" The Palisman flew out of his pocket and chirps. "Can you get the rebus?" Flapjack tweeted. "I'll say that again." His voice becomes distorted with Belos' voice. "Get the rebus!"

Flapjack begrudgingly flew away to retrieve the rebus from Amity's bag while everyone stared at Hunter with shocked expressions.

"Dude, what the heck?!" Luz exclaimed.

"Why did you yell at Flapjack like that and in a creepy voice?!" Grime asked.

"Sorry, I don't know what came over me." Hunter said as Flapjack returned. "Good work, buddy."

In that moment, Dipper was concerned and worried for Hunter, since he didn't know if what he saw was actually him. He felt that something was off with him and he was going to find out what.

Back at the Noceda residence, Camila and Vee had just finished watching a movie together. She was busy picking up some snacks and popcorn before moving to the laptop. She picked it up and accidentally tripped over another bowl and managed to catch it before it landed on the floor. "Phew." Then, the laptop turned on to show a video of young Luz around four years old.

"So we moved. Mom says it's because the house isn't 'pretty enough', but I think it's because there's a better hospital for dad nearby. Cause, let's be honest, this house ain't that much prettier."

Then it cut to footage of young Luz looking depressed. "I think this might be the worst week ever." Camila's hand is now on the screen and slowly sliding down. Knowing this was the point where her Dad had been killed. "But Dad left me this book. I can't wait to read it!"

Then the footage cut to Luz looking more happy. "I loved it! I loved it so much!"

Next, the footage cut to Luz with a sword. "Look what I got at the convention." She laughs. "I'm gonna cut my hair with it." Then it cuts to another recording not long after the previous one; she now has damaged hair. "That was a bad idea!"

Then it cut to Luz before the adventure started. "Mom saw my report card. 'Mija, if you just applied yourself'. But I am applying myself. My baseball stitches are so small, they're practically invisible. And I can read and write Witchtongue in five different dialects. Also, I can sit so perfectly still that woodland creatures come and sit on me." She demonstrates by sitting in a chair completely immobile: a spider soon descends on top of her head. "But I guess none of this is gonna matter on the SATs. It's been really rough for Mom since the funeral. So, I'm gonna wow my teacher's face off with this book report! Mom, you won't have to worry about me ever again."

Camila was about to close the lid until it cut to a more recent one. "Mama says I have to learn from my mistakes. So, I know what I have to do now. On Halloween, after the Hayride, I'm telling everyone I'm staying in the Human Realm. Permanently."

Camila gasped in horror at what her daughter had just said. She continued to watch the footage as Luz left it recording. It was at this moment, Dipper showed up on screen looking worried.

He turned his attention to the laptop. "Whoever's watching this, Luz can't leave the Demon Realm. It needs her more than she realises." He pulled out the sonic tool and manoeuvred it around the laptop. "Whoever opens the lid, activates the footage. Stop her, whatever it takes." Camila closed the lid and pulled a determined look on her face.

Meanwhile, Hunter was running through the forest with Luz, Dipper and Grime behind him. "This way!" He stopped for a moment as he cringed in pain. He removed the bandage from his finger and saw that the goo was bubbling. "What the?" He didn't have time so he continued to run. Leaving the others behind.

"Hunter!" She and the others panted. "Hunter! Think. Think. Hunter is following the rebus to the Titan's Blood. Grime, do you know where's going?"

"I don't know, I didn't look at the map long enough." Grime said.

"I placed a tracking device into his shoe." Dipper pulled a small box from his coat and then put it back. "Sorry, my defibrillators." Then he pulled out his phone. "Okay…He's…" He looked at Luz and saw that the device was in her wig. "…A shifty little trickster. Dammit, Stan!"

"But how can I find the blood without him?" Luz asked. "Come on. You can do this."

"Try yelling and luring!" Grime suggested. "Hunter! Willow's in a bikini!"

"Why would she be in a bikini?!" Dipper asked in annoyance. "It's freezing!"

"I went skinny dipping in the cold, once!" Grime declared proudly. "Nothing beats the cool breeze blowing on your-"

"Quiet!" Luz exclaimed as she remembered what happened at the clinic yesterday.

"What?!"

"She doesn't want to hear about the breeze blowing on your-" Dipper stopped talking when he saw a couple of lights floating upwards. He and Grime stared at the sight with awe on their faces.

"Woah!" Grime remarked.

"How?' Dipper asked. "I thought glyph magic didn't work here."

"Glyphs are powered by the magic of the isles, by the Titan itself!" Luz replied happily. "Closer I am to the Titan Blood, the stronger the glyphs become."

Dipper and Grime smiled. "Well what are we waiting for?!" Grime asked. "Let's move out!" The three began running as Luz activated more light glyphs to find the blood.

Meanwhile at the festival, the others were looking for them. "Hunter?! Luz?!" Willow cried out.

"Grime?!" Sasha shouted.

"Dipper?!" Anne shouted.

"The author of Cynthia Coven is here and he wants to fight you!" Marcy shouted.

"Huh?"

"He has a rivalry with the author of Cynthia Coven." Marcy explained. "Something about not taking each other's criticism well."

"Okay, so there's this rebus you wanted to surprise me, Luz and Dipper with." Marcy said. "A rebus that I could have solved on my own yet you didn't so you could surprise me?" Marcy pulled her friends in. "Ooooh, I love you guys!"

"Found anyone?" Amity asked.

"Negative." Sasha said. "Not even a mucus trail."

"Calm down everyone." Gus said. "They probably just went to buy some more cars." Anne, Sasha and Marcy gave Gus a deadpan stare.

"Yeah. Yeah. You're right." Amity said. "I just- I wanted to show Luz the rebus." She began to reach for it but then realised it was gone. "Wait. Where did it go?"

In that moment, Masha approached the group. "Hey guys, have you seen Vee anywhere? I want to talk to her."

"Not now, Boscha!" Marcy said. "Have you seen Luz anywhere?"

Then Camila's car parked up with Vee in the front seat. "Kids, have you seen Luz? And has she said anything weird?"

Vee looked at her phone. "Boom! Find…" She froze when she saw Masha. "…Masha I…Forget it, I found her phone! She's in some cemetery."

Meanwhile, Luz, Dipper and Grime arrived to the cemetery where they saw Hunter standing in front of an archway.

Luz quickly formed an ice bridge from an ice glyph which she, Dipper and Grime walked across. At one point, Grime slipped before standing back up.

The three approached Hunter with caution. "Hunter, are you okay? Did you see Belos?" Luz asked.

"If so, tell him Grime says….Uh…I'll get round to it." Grime said.

"Oh, no. Just my imagination playing tricks again." Hunter said. "Why don't you find the Titan Blood while I find my palisman? Little guy got spooked off."

"Good idea." Luz said. "All this Belos talk has me on edge."

"I'm a master digger!" Grime began digging through the dirt and found a skull. "Nope not it. Unless…Nope, not in the skull." He tossed the skull toward Hunter, causing it to shatter upon impact and without hurting him.

"But you know, I hate to ruin Amity's surprise." Luz said. "I really appreciate that everyone wanted to do this. You guys are great friends."

Dipper, compared to everyone, was on edge so he pulled out his laser and set it to stun. "Yes, I'm very grateful Hunter."

"Why yes, you're welcome Mason." Hunter said. "Luz, Grime, did you find the Titan's blood yet?"

"I'm on it!" Luz responded. "I just need to…"

"Flapjack?" Grime reacted.

Luz walked toward Grime whom was on his knees trying to calm the Palisman down. "Flapjack? Why do you look so spooked?"

"He's almost terrified of Hunter." Grime remarked. "It's like he's…"

Then, they heard the sound of some lasers being shot and turned around to see Dipper shooting Hunter. But unfortunately, he was standing there being unaffected.

"Dipper?!" Luz exclaimed as she and Grime ran up to him. "What the hell?!"

"That's not Hunter." Dipper said. "Nobody calls me Mason except my publicist. That's where you got it wrong."

Belos/Hunter (Bunter) stood up as horns began to stick out of his head, the goo began to travel through his body and his eyes were blue. "Well done, Mr Pines. You're quite a clever young man. Grime, how nice of us to see each other again. Oh and Luz, didn't you use an ice glyph to get here? Your magic is working."

"Luz?" Anne cried. "I think she's this way."

"Mija?" Camila cried.

"Grimsey!" Sasha cried.

"Hunter?!" Willow cried.

"Luz?! Are you close?!" Amity asked.

"Sasha!" Grime cried. "Get everyone quickly as possible! Belos is alive!"

"You!" Luz narrowed her eyes at him. "You survived."

Dipper activated his energy sword. "You're going to pay for what you've done to me."

Bunter seemed confused. "I don't even know what I've done to you."

"You will." Dipper said. "I'll stab you the same way you did with her."

Bunter grinned. "Ah, you're her lover, aren't you? A pleasure to meet you at last." He laughed. "Another witch lover to kill once this is done. Thanks for all the help, Luz. Even with your returned glyph powers, I don't need you anymore."

He hit Luz and Grime backwards while Dipper managed to dodge him. He charged towards him and began to engage in a duel.

Bunter used the goo to create a blade that was powerful to deflect the energy blade. They dodged each other's hits while clashing blades with each other.

Bunter tried to disarm Dipper, but he only grabbed him by the collar and tossed him to the ground. Bunter tried firing a blade at him, he dodged it and got up to continued engaging in the duel.

"You refuse to penetrate my body." Bunter remarked. "Or in this case, his body. Your care for this witch makes you weak, Pines." He kicked Dipper across the ground, causing him to crash into a gravestone.

"Dipper!" Grime cried as he tried hitting Bunter with his warhammer. He managed to pick up the toad and tossed him on the ice bridge, causing it to crack.

Flapjack then appeared in front of Luz. "Flapjack." Flapjack flies on Luz's shoulder as she stood up.

Bunter reaches into the ground and pulls out a vial of Titan's blood. "Ah, there you are." The vial is knocked out of Belos' hand by an ice spike. He turns to see Luz launching some ice spikes at him. HeLuz launches more glyphs at him, but all of her attacks miss.

Grime stood up and stood by Luz to protect her while Dipper stood beside her as well, with his energy sword in hand.

"You're not even trying to hurt me." Bunter remarked. "Afraid you might hurt him?"

"It's okay, I hurt him enough." Grime said. "Just get out of his body and fight like a human man!"

Then the others, including Masha arrived on the scene. "Where is Belos?!" Sasha exclaimed as she unsheathed her swords along with Anne with her sword.

"Hunter?" Vee reacted in surprise.

"Something's wrong." Gus said.

Marcy froze in horror at the sight as she recognised the situation. "No! Not him! Belos has him!"

"No!" Willow cried.

"He's possessed again?!" Sasha exclaimed in shock. "Wasn't the Bodywalker enough for him?!"

Bunter looked between Grime and the group. "See, this is why you're so useful, Grime. You're so desperate to gain answers, you even helped me meet the Collector." Grime froze in horror.

"Wait what?" Amity reacted.

Luz turned to Grime with a betrayed expression on her face. "Grime? You helped him?!"

"No!" Grime replied. "Well, no! Yes! But not really! Me, Raine and Lilith went into the past and we…Look, I didn't mean to!"

"Luz, you're emotionally distressed." Dipper said. "Don't let him get to you."

"You did do something good, Grime." Bunter said. "I thought this one was another lost cause. Because of you, we can finish our work as witch-hunters, starting with them"

Bunter starts to reach for the witches, but Amity summons her palisman to swat away his hand, following with Gus and Willow also summoning their palismen to fly and attack him. Sasha and Anne began running across the bridge with their swords out toward him.

Bunter managed to deflect the illusions, purple goo and managed to cut a vine. "Hey Belos, remember us?!" Gus cried before him and the others flew off.

It was then, Anne and Sasha jumped out of nowhere and clashed their swords with Bunter's goo. They did their best to try and fight him without hurting Hunter.

Grime tried to tackle him but then Bunter stretched his arm slapped him across the bridge, crashing into a rock.

"Grime!" Sasha cried before she deflected a hit from him and continued the duel against him with Anne.

Across the river, Marcy was aiming her wrist mounted crossbow at him, trying to shoot but looking afraid.

"What are you waiting for, Marcy?!" Masha asked. "He's right there, shoot him!"

"I can't!" Marcy protested. "It's still Hunter!"

Across the river, Sasha and Anne continued their duel until he slapped them with his arm, causing them to skim across to the other side.

Dipper began charging towards Bunter and clashed his blades against his. "Enough of this!" Bunter performed a push kick, causing Dipper to crash on the bridge.

He was about to attack Dipper, but then Willow grabbed his outstretched hand and slammed it to the ground. "That's my boyfriend!" Willow cried in anger before flying to the other side. "Vee!"

"I got it!" Vee jumped on the ice bridge and began absorbing the magic from Bunter.

Bunter struggled to resist the power of the Basilisk but was far more weaker. He raised his hand high and was about to kill her, but Dipper stood up.

"No!" Dipper managed to tackle the basilisk to the other side just as Bunter destroyed the bridge.

Luz stood up as Falpjack flew into her hands and into staff mode. She briefly teleported and almost lost her footing but got it back.

She narrowed her eyes at him before teleporting behind him and grabbing a hold of him. "I know you're still in there, Hunter! Fight!" Bunter tossed Luz toward the river.

"Luz!" Amity cried before making a bridge out of sticks, mud and ice which she landed on.

Flapjack tried pecking at Bunter's horns but he grabbed him and began to crush him. "No!" Anne cried.

"That's right. You wouldn't want me harming your precious palisman, would you?" Bunter asked. "Then how about a trade. I let the Palisman and Hunter go if Waybright and Pines give me what I desire."

"What could you want from them?!" Luz asked.

Bunter stuck his tongue out to reveal the green calamity shard that he received from Darcy not too long ago. "You know full well."

Marcy gasped in horror. "No! You had it all along!"

"Nice observation, Wu." Bunter remarked. "You know, I almost lost it to a pale human with black spiky hair. He held his own against me, but I destroyed him."

Masha froze at the description of the person he killed. "No." They realised that Belos had killed their cousin. "You did it? You killed my cousin!" They tried to hold back tears and the urge to run up to him and punch him. "You bastard!" Masha screamed.

Vee and Amity managed to hold them back all while Bunter grinned. "Come on, hand it over.l

"You think we're just going to give them up like that?" Marcy asked. "Right Anne?"

But Anne had hung her head down, knowing what must come next. Along with Sasha and Dipper. The very glum reactions of the three got everyone to worry.

"Dipper?" Luz reacted.

"I'm sorry Luz, but the future needs to be intact." Dipper pressed the palm of his hand and the blue shard rose out of a platform. He gently held it in between his finger and thumb and began walking across the bridge.

Sasha did the same, only she took her shard out of her necklace and began walking with Dipper. "You saw the visions as well, didn't you?"

Dipper sighed sadly. "I'm afraid so."

They stopped in front of Bunter who had his mouth open, beckoning them to put the shards in. They reluctantly did as they were told and put them in his mouth.

"Okay, let them go." Dipper commanded.

Bunter just grinned and sighed. "Regrettably, my body is falling apart so I'm afraid I have to keep him." He formed his hand into a giant fist that he used to punch Dipper and Sasha to the other side. "Oh, but then again, I don't care what you want. Goodbye, Evelyn."

And with a horrifying crack, Bunter crushed the Palisman in his hand and starts absorbing his essence, but lets him go as Hunter's personality starts fighting him over the control of his body.

Flapjack then flies into Luz' palm while leaking palisman essence from the cracks in his body. "It's okay! You're gonna be okay!" Luz said as she held on to the Palisman while everyone tried to surround her to see him.

The Belos side of Bunter tried to keep control but then, Hunter managed to get control back to his body. "You know what I'd like, Belos?" He groaned as he began walking towards the river. "I'd like to leave the Emperor's Coven and never step foot in that throne room again. I'd like to study wild magic, and learn how to carve palismen. I'd like to attend Hexside as a regular student and hang out with my friends." He stared sadly at Willow whom had tears falling down her eyes. "Id like to be with the witch I fell in love with. "But most of all, I'd like to make sure you never hurt anyone again!" He tosses the vial into the river.

"NNNOOOOOOO!" Bunter dived into the river to retrieve the vial which he did, but fortunately/unfortunately, couldn't swim.

"No!" Luz cried.

"HUNTER!" Dipper quickly took off his coat and dived into the river to rescue Hunter. After a few seconds of tension, he resurfaced with him in his arms.

He put his unconscious body on the bridge where everyone got around him. "Be careful with him!" Willow cried.

"Hunter, can you hear me?!" Dipper asked.

In that moment, the Belos goo escaped from his body to reveal Belos in his monster form, snarling as he held the vial. He stared at his enemies with drool escaping from his mouth.

"Caleb, you dare stab me in the back?" Belos asked.

"You did it to him first." Luz argued.

Belos smashed the vial on the archway, opening the portal. "This is for the good of your souls. You'll thank me later."

Dipper stood up and narrowed his eyes at the monster. "You know what will be good for my soul?" The monster turned, intrigued to what Dipper had to say. "Kill yourself."

"What?" Belos asked.

"You want to kill witches?! What will be left after they're exterminated?!" Dipper asked. "Nothing! That's what!"

"Good." Belos said.

"And not just no witches, nothing for you." Dipper said. "You'll just be a monster roaming the Earth until you die and turn to nothing. Why don't you prevent that by ending it all right here?! End your outdated ways of living, complete your monstrous existence, why don't you just melt away into nothing?! Rid the world and the multiverse of your filth?! Preventing the same deaths you caused Pacifica, K and Hunter! Why don't you just die?!" Dipper panted after his long rant.

Belos just stood there before snarling. "You are not human." He said before walking through the portal.

Camila was in absolute shock with what she had seen. "That's the Belos you've been fighting?"

Willow sniffled. "Guys, Hunter isn't moving."

"We have to do something!" Marcy said.

"There's nothing we can do." Sasha said sadly.

"To hell with the universe!" Dipper quickly got on his knees and began giving the Grimwalker some chest compressions. "Come on! Come on! Come on!"

"Dipper…" Luz placed her hand on his shoulder.

"No!" He then gave Hunter some mouth-to-mouth. "Come on! Come on!"

"Dipper…He's gone." Grime hung his head down.

"No!" He tried 30 chest compressions again and then two mouth-to-mouth breaths. "Rip his shirt open!"

Sasha pulled a knife from her hair and used it to slice Hunter's shirt open so Dipper could pull his defibrillator from his coat and placed the pads beside his right collarbone and left armpit before punching it. His body jolted while Camila checked his pulse.

"Nothing!" Camila said.

Dipper tried again. "Come on! Hunter! Come on!"

Willow gave up on the hope that her boyfriend was alive and began hugging Amity, whom was now having tears escape from her eyes along with everyone else.

"Dipper, he's gone." Luz said sadly.

"I refuse to believe it!" Dipper screamed as tears fell from his eyes. "Hunter! You have survived Amphibia, Clyde, time travel and Genghis Khan! So for god sake! Wake up! Live! Fight! Live! LIVE!" Tears fell from his face. "Fight." He turned into a sobbing mess.

Everyone else began crying as they mourned the loss of their friend, boyfriend, comrade, acquaintance and a true witch. Hunter Pines.

"What do we do?" Amity asked sadly.

A weakened Flapjack flies out of Luz's pocket and to Hunter's lifeless body and chirps sadly. He then settles down, sacrificing his life by giving him his palisman essence to revive Hunter as the others sadly watch on.

He dissolves into floating balls of light that float into the sky and vanish. Everyone stared at Hunter's body as he slowly stirred awake.

He smiled at his friends and family. "Hey guys. Is everyone okay?"

Everyone looked at each other sadly. "Hunter, Flapjack…."

Before Gus could finish, Hunter raised his hand. "Don't…" Tears began to fall as he held his scarred body. "…I already know."

Luz wiped some tears and stood up slowly as she narrowed her eyes at Grime. "You helped him?"

"Luz, he didn't know." Gus argued.

"Don't you start attacking him!" Sasha said. "This is what Belos wants."

"I was tricked." Grime admitted. "I was tricked by Belos because I wanted to help Amphibia and Sasha. And look what's happened."

"Grime…" Hunter tried sitting up.

"Sit up slowly." Willow said. "Does it hurt anywhere?"

"A bit." Hunter replied as his girlfriend held on to him, refusing to let him go.

"Grime, don't blame yourself." Hunter said. "Belos is good at tricking people. He did it with the Demon Realm and he could have done it to anyone. Including Luz."

"Guys, there's something I should tell you." Luz began walking toward the portal. "After everything that has happened, I think it's best I…"

"Took your Mama to the Demon Realm!" Camila interjected.

"What?!" Luz exclaimed. "But Mami…"

"Mija, now that I've seen what you're up against, there is no way I'm letting you go back there alone." Camila said. "It is our duty to help your friends get back to their families."

"But…"

"Luz, Camila's right." Sasha said. "This is a threat that can't be taken down by a small number. Let alone you. Me and the gals are gonna help in every step of the way. For Flapjack."

"For Flapjack." Anne said.

"For Flapjack." Marcy said.

"For Flapjack." Willow said.

"For Flapjack." Gus said.

"For Flapjack." Grime said.

"For Flapjack." Amity said.

"For Flapjack." Dipper said.

"For Flapjack." Camila said.

Luz took in the support she was getting and nodded her head. "For Flapjack."

"The portal's closing!" Vee exclaimed.

"We better hurry." Dipper said. "Let's go take down this son of a bitch." Dipper walked through the portal with no reluctance, since vengeance was on his mind.

Hunter was the next to go. Hunter held on to his bare chest and sniffled. "Time to go home, Flap." He walked through the portal.

The Calamity girls were next to enter. "Oooh boy, I'm not ready to leave Earth again." Anne said before walking through.

"Okay, the Demon Realm has bathrooms and I'm dying." Marcy walked through the portal.

Sasha then walked through. "Time to die, Belos."

Grime was the next to go. But before he left, he took one glance at Luz and saw that she was giving him a look that said she did not forgive him. He sighed sadly before walking through the portal.

Gus and Willow were next. "Goodbye, Human Realm. Thank you for showing me your secrets. I hope to see you again."

"Thanks for the memories." Willow said. "We'll be back after we get some revenge." She and Gus walked through, leaving Amity and Luz to go next.

Amity gave Luz a kiss on the cheek. "We're going to avenge everyone he has killed. I know we are."

"See you in the other side, Sweet Potato." Luz said before Amity walked through.

On the bridge, Vee handed Camila her bat. "You're going to need this."

"Aren't you coming?" Camila asked.

"I don't think I'm ready. Besides…" She morphs into Camila. "…someone has to keep up appearances."

"And someone need to water the plants." Masha said as they stood with Vee. "And Camila, when you meet Belos, show no mercy. Fuck him up real good."

"Okay Vee, tell the staff I've gone home to see my abuela, okay?" Camila said. "Carmen's in charge, Dianne has my schedule. And…" She pulls Vee in for a hug. "…thank you, Vee." She walks towards Luz with a concerned expression on her face. "Are you ready?"

"Are you?" Luz asked her mother. "I'm not sure what we'll see on the other side."

Camila looked to Luz's hat. "Then we don't wanna leave unprepared." Luz walked towards her hat and put it back on her head. "A good witch always has to have her hat." The two walked into the portal hand-in-hand, ready to face the unknown.

Once they left, Vee and Masha began walking across the bridge back to the Noceda residence.

"Shoot!" Vee cried.

"What?" Masha asked.

"Camila still has the car keys!"
