Hello everyone! Happy 2024 and also welcome to the 200th chapter of Terrible Twos! This marks double my original goal of at least 100 chapters and I'm honestly glad I'm still here! Also grateful for anyone that's been here for most if not all the journey to this point! We're in the final homestretch before I bring this series to a close but, of course, that's still a little while away. Anyway here's the next chapter, hope you all enjoy.

It was another sunny, warm day for the Rugrats as it was time for the block party that had everyone in the neighborhood excited. Many of the adults were setting up various tables and decorations and amongst other things while many of the kids in the neighborhood all played together with a soccer ball or skipping ropes. Of course, this time around, Randy was the safety monitor instead of Howard which meant there were no overbearing rules along with the sounds of a mega phone throughout the block. This year instead of watermelon eating, there was a pie eating contest set to take place; specifically banana cream pie. Of course, Howard, being the best baker of the group, insisted on making all the pies and having Didi and Ebony help out by bringing in the baskets of bananas needed every hour or so. The Rugrats themselves were currently located on a picnic blanket in Tommy's front yard as they were having their own snack of cut up banana slices.

"Isn't this exciting guys? it's Kimi, Dil, and Savannah's first block party!" Tommy asked, giggling as he picked up a few banana slices to eat

"So this is what our mommies were talking abouts a few yesterdays ago?" Savannah asked, picking up a few banana slices to feed herself and her sister

Samayah had finally managed to start crawling on her own over the past few days as she crawled over to sit next to her sister who had the banana slices in hand.

"Nana, Bannanah!" Samayah squealed, asking for a slice of banana that her sister had

Savannah, of course, placed a few banana slices in front of her sister as Samayah reached to pick up one and began eating it. She was really enjoying all the new foods she was getting to try seeing as her parents were slowly transitioning her to finger foods. This week had mostly been fruits, which Samayah enjoyed most of, but if she had to choose the sliced bananas were her top favorite thus far. As Samayah began eating her banana slices the older babies continued their conversation.

"Uh huh! Kimi wasn't heres for it yets and Dil was still a baby baby when we had the firstest one." Tommy explained

"Mayah really seems to like the nanners, Savannah." Kimi suddenly cut in, giggling as she fed Samayah a banana slice she had in hand

"Oh yeah! My mommy and daddy have been giving her more new foods and stuffs but she seems to really like nanners." Savannah said, also feeding her sister some banana slices

Naturally, Samayah ended up getting mushed chewed up banana all over her clothes, pacifier (which was attached to a clip on her shirt), face, and hands as she continued eating her snack

"Uh maybe you guys shouldn't feeds her so much." Chuckie said as a clearly worried expression crossed his face

"Why's that?" Kimi asked picking up a few more slices to feed to the youngest rugrats

"Oh yeah, I thinks the lastest time, when Dil was still a baby baby we feeded hims a bunch of watermelon." Lil explained

"Yeah and then our mommy said that if we kepts feeding hims he'd turneded into one!" Phil continued the explanation

"That's silly, babies can't turns into watermelons just like they can't turns into dolls. Right, Tommy?" Dil giggled, looking at his brother. However his smile turned to a frown when Tommy didn't seem to be laughing along with the idea

"I'd like to says that but you did turns into a watermelon after we feds a bunch to yous." Tommy sighed, recalling the previous time that Dil "turned" into a watermelon

"If that's true, how did you gets him to turns back into a baby?" Savannah asked

"Um...I thinks we tried to feeds him some baby food thinking that would works. But that's when my daddy takeded him away thinking he was another regular watermelon and we were trying to finds him afore the growed up accidentally eated him and then nextest thing he was back to normen." Tommy replied

At the same time. Angelica was skipping by with her jump rope as she overheard the babies' conversation as a smirk crossed her face. Ever since she was usually stuck at preschool most days and having playdates with others afterward, she never really got a chance to mess with the babies as much anymore. This was a perfect opportunity to get back in the swing of things and prove she still had it. Skipping over to the babies she then spoke up.

"Did I just hear you all talking about Dil turning into a watermelon?" Angelica asked

"Uh huh, Tommy and Chuckie and Phil and Lil were telling us abouts the time Dil got turneded into one at the lastest party when he was still a baby baby acause he ate too much watermelon." Kimi nodded, eagerly explaining to Angelica

"Oh, I see. Well it is true that someone can turns into foods after all you hears growed ups say all the time "you ares what you eat" Angelica chuckled, glancing over at the youngest Rugrat still munching away at the last few slices of banana as another devilish idea came to mind.

"Bannanah!" Samayah giggled, trying to feed her sister herself

"Oh yeah, I almost forgots. Sometimes little dinky babies also get turneded into fruits when they don't say peoples names right. That's probably why your brother turned into a watermelon, he couldn't say my name or even Chuckie, Phil, and Lil's either. And, since not only did you feed her a bunch of bananas, but the fact that Samayah can't even say Savannah's name right means she's probably going to be the nextest baby to turns into a fruit." Angelica cackled

"That's not true! If that was then Dil should still bes a watermelon, you're making that ups!" Savannah yelled, not buying into Angelica's lie.

"Fine, don't believes me. Don't come crying to me when your sister is stuck as a banana or something." Angelica cackled

While Savannah argued with Angelica, Samayah noticed a butterfly fluttering by as she beamed in delight as she began crawling in the general direction towards it. At the same time, Ebony, who was carrying a small basket out of the DeVille home, spotted her youngest crawling in the grass as she quickly set down the basket and scooped up her.

"Woah there sweet pea, look at you, you're all covered in bananas! Hehe lets go get you cleaned up shall we?" Ebony chuckled, as she picked up the almost empty basket.

Of course, as Ebony picked up the basket a single banana plopped out on the ground from the basket being slightly tipped when Ebony picked it up as she began carrying both the basket and Samayah away. Unknown to Ebony, Samayah also managed to yank her pacifier clip off of her shirt as it fell to the ground near the banana. Spying this, Angelica smirked; This was almost too perfect of an opportunity.

"Oh no, I think it just happened already! I just seen your sister turn into a banana right before my eyes!" Angelica gasped, pointing towards the direction of the banana lying nearby in the grass

"Don't be ridcurous, Mayah's still right over...uhm." Savannah said turning around to look for her sister only to see that she wasn't there

"Uh, Savannah, where did your sister go?" Dil asked

"I don't knows...she can't crawls that well yets so she couldn't goes that far." Savannah said, continuing to look around for any sign of her younger sibling

"You say that, but isn't that her pacifier?" Angelica pointed out the pacifier lying in the grass next to the banana

"Oh no, your sister really did turned into a banana!" Dil exclaimed

"I tolds ya so! You dumb babies just don't listen. Oh well enjoy your new fruit baby sister." Angelica hummed skipping away on her jump rope

Savannah could only frown as she got up and toddled over to the banana, picking it up along with the pacifier was 100 percent Mayah's no doubt about that, it even still had pieces of banana on it from before. Many thoughts crossed Savannah's mind as she cradled the banana in her arm. There was no way this could be her sister! Angelica had to be lying to them once again... Right? Even with one last look around, she couldn't see any sign of her sister at all as tears began forming in her eyes.

"I don't want my baby sister to bes a banana!" Savannah sobbed as she began crying

Will Savannah ever get her sister back? Find out next time!
