The Carousel Murders
Chapter 15th
Major Tompkins had been doing his job for the past three hours while needing to take a short break. However, he didn't like the new guy getting in his way at some point of his shift. Moving to another section of communications. He watched Major Gibbs continue to work for the next ten minutes before he was able to leave for his scheduled break.
This made Tompkins relax a little while removing his cell phone for a moment to send a quick coded message. Afterward, he placed it back into his blue pants.
Gibbs had gone to his quarters having to be private...
He had been talking to Director Leon Vance from inside his office. "Leon, so far he's not made any further moves to search for his next target." Gibbs will say to his friend over his cell.
He was sitting in his brown chair in his office.
"Just be sure to have a further report tomorrow morning Jethro. I will be talking to the president of the United States regarding your report and Naval Intelligence," he advised Gibbs.
"I will see to it, Leon. Have you been able to talk with Suzanne Michaels?" he had to ask the importance of the question.
"Yes, I have as with Special Agent Jessica Knight. She is slowly working to get out of the hospital after being shot. She did tell me that she is scared at the moment that Tompkins will murder another Naval Officer." he said strongly to Gibbs with the information.
"That's too bad Leon that her job has been hampered by her fear," Gibbs said with conviction in his tone of voice.
"I know what you mean Gibbs. However, Naval Intelligence is going to try to push the envelope with Michaels. Since we must try to close the case by catching the rest of his organization." Leon will say to his long-time friend.
"Let's hope so, Leon, and why I am on the U.S.S. Donaldson to find them and catch Tompkins in the act once again." he gulps, his throat extremely dry.
"You have better be going Gibbs before Major Tompkins gets anxious to look for you?" he ordered.
"I am going, Leon. I will be sure to call you in the morning with a report." Gibbs noted. He will end the connection with his cell phone before placing it back into his pants. This is when he moved out of his quarters to head back to communications.

Doctor Palmer and Doctor Jack Sloane had been cleaning up the autopsy bay after placing the latest victim into the storage section for now.
She had slammed her hand on the table as Palmer needed to check her hand for any bruising for the most part. He grabbed it to hear the following from her mouth.
"OUCH!" she cried out with Palmer to head for the cabinet to give her something for the pain and place antiseptic onto the small cut on her right hand.
"Here this will help Jack for now. I would hate to see the Director pull you off the case!" he cried out while dabbing the antiseptic onto her hand.
"Thanks, Jimmy, you're a good man after all of these years. I am just sorry that I have been gone for so long to miss so much during that time." she spotted out with her emotional response.
"I have tried my best Jack. I am just sorry to see you and Gibbs at odds with each other!" he remarked with Jack placing the last of the antiseptic onto her hand. He could see that he had hit a nerve with the woman and coroner.
"So It goes as always Jimmy for when it comes to Leroy Jethro Gibbs." she barked with her response.
