Ok as I promised back to the Loud sisters and they're grandmother. This is just going to be a filler chapter.
"I can't believe it," Lola said, eager. "Our grandmother is a sorceress!"
"But before Lincoln got the Omnitrix, I thought our lives were as normal as can be for people like us," Lori said. "Dad never mentioned anything about his mom being a sorceress."
"He didn't carry the genes that carried my abilities," Heather explained. "We lost touch a long time ago."
"What happened?" Lori asked.
Your grandfather and I got into an arguement. He didn't like your father's love for cooking, he always thought of him as a weakling. Over time we argued and argued until I lefted him and I never looked back." Heather said.
"Hey," Lana said. "Maybe you can come home with us when we're done for the day."
"You sure?" Heather asked. "I haven't seen my son in twenty years. I never met my daughter in law. I'm kind of afraid of what your mother will think having a sorceress as a mother-in-law. I don't even know if he's ever told her about me or if I'm even alive."
"Aren't you a little too old to be afraid?" Luan asked.
"You can be too old for a lot of things, kiddo," Heather said. "But you're never too old to be afraid."
"I'm sure they'll understand." said Lori said.
"I'll think about soon. Now come one, let's head to our new home and your training will begin soon." Heather said.
"Training?" The Loud sisters asked.
"Yes I'll explain when we get there." Heather said as they began walking through the woods.
"You live in the woods?" Leni asked.
"Wait until you see my house." Heather said.
After a few minutes of walking, the Heather and the Loud sisters has reached an old house with a water wheel next to a river coming from a waterfall. "Here is it girls, home sweet home." Heather said. "If you think the outside isn't impressive. Wait until you see the inside."
"Like some old log cabin?" Lana asked.
Heather walked up to the door and pulled out a key from her robes' pockets and used it to unlock the door. Once they enter the house, they see that the inside is a mix of modern and rustic house, kitchen, living room and a stairway to the second floor. "Welcome to my home." Heather said.
"It looks nice." said Lori.
"Thank you. Come on in and remember to wipe your feet." Heather said. "Take a seat."
The Loud sisters all entered the cabin as they wiped their feet. They all sat at table as 9 mugs float towards the girls along with some teabags, along with a kettle full of hot water and poured it into the mugs.
"So how did you build this place?" Lola asked.
"Magic. I used some wood and rocks to make this house and over time I did some remodelling over the years." Heather said.
"It looks nice." said Leni.
"So why do you want to train us and what for?" Lynn asked.
"Well this might sound crazy but you girls have magical abilities. Not just magical abilities, but connected to elemental powers." Heather explained. "When a person is born sometimes magic can be linked to an element."
"Are you serious?" Lola asked.
"I am serious Lola. That and also people born of magic can use the full power of their brain, not to mention faster, stronger and durable than normal humans. Think about it, I have watched you all your whole lives, there's a reason why you survived Lisa's lab explosions, Luan's extreme pranks and why Lana hasn't gotten sick from eating garbage and rolling in dirty." Heather explained.
"So that explains why we lived through all that stuff." Luna said.
"That explains a lot." Lana said. "But what about the elemental part?" Lana asked.
"Drink your tea and I'll read the tea leaves." Heather replied.
The Loud girls all drank their tea as their grandmother watched, once the girls were finished, Heather got up and inspected the bottom of the cups. "So how does this work?" Lana asked.
Heather didn't answer she look at Lana's cup and sees the tea leaves in form of mountains at the bottom. "Lana your element is earth." Heather stated.
"Wow so that's how." Lana replied.
"Read mine next!" Leni smiled.
Heather looked into Leni's teacup and sees the tea leaves in the form of a cloud. "Looks like Leni's element is wind." Heather said.
"I thought I would marry either Chaz or Kody?" Leni said.
"Well Leni is always an airhead." Lynn smirked.
Heather looks into Lynn's tea and sees the tea leaves are in the form of a flame. "Looks like Lynn's element is fire." Heather said.
"Well Lynn is always known to be a hot head." Luna laughed.
"As you Luan." Heather said as she inspects Luan's tea mug and sees the tea leaves in the form of the sun rising. "Light is your element, you always look on the bright side of life."
"Leave the jokes to me." Luan said with a deadpan look on her face.
Heather went back to inspecting the tea leaves in the mugs. "Let's see Lola, your element is." Heather said as she looked into Lola's mug and sees the tea leaves in the form of a snowflake. "Your element is ice."
"Funny she always has ice in her veins." said Lynn.
"Oh ha ha." Lola replied sarcastically. "Now I can dress up like Elsa from Frozen for Halloween."
"As for you Lori." Heather said as she looks into Lori's mug and sees the tea leaves in the form of a wave. "Your element is water."
"Now that's interesting." Lori said.
"As for you Luna." Heather said as she looked into Luna's mug and sees that the tea leaves are in the form of a thunderbolt. "Lightning is your element."
"Sweet, I get power my axe and amp myself." Luna said.
"Sigh, I'm last." Lucy sighed.
"As for you Lucy." Heather said as she looked in Lucy's mug and see nothing but the tea leaves covering the bottom of the mug. "Interesting."
"What is it grandma?" Lucy asked.
"Well it looks like your element is the shadows." Heather stated.
"Wicked." Lucy smiled with a deadpan tone.
"Alright your training begins tomorrow. So I will show you all to your rooms, after that I work on your training robes." Heather said.
"Training robes?" Lori asked.
"You're not training in those clothes." said Heather. "Also no phones during training. You can use them for web browsing, streaming and play games while your done with training hours."
"What about texting?" Luna asked.
"Your duplicates can do that. They will cover for you for your friends, parents and boyfriends." Heather said.
"Actually girlfriend." Luna replied. "I'm bi, grandma. I do have a girlfriend named Sam Sharp."
"Oh I never excepted my own granddaughter is bisexual. Thanks for proving me wrong Luna." said Heather. "Anyway come with me and I'll show you to your rooms." Heather and the rest of the Loud sisters all get up and walk upstairs to their new rooms.
Once the girls see their rooms, they noticed that it's just an empty room with a dresser and bed in each one. "It looked small on the outside." said Lynn.
"Think of it like a pocket dimension, it's small on the outside, but big inside." said Heather.
"It will do I guess." Lori said.
"You'll love it here." Heather said. "Anyway the wifi password is on your dressers."
"Wifi password?" Luan asked.
"I'm not a savage." Heather said as she walked downstairs.
Sometime later Heather walked outside to the garden and pulled out some carrots. "The girls are going to love my Minestrone soup." Heather said as she walked back to her house, she looks at the woods and glares. "I just hope they don't run into the Salvo family." Heather said as she walks back inside.
Ok I'm sorry that it was short, but it was the best I can come up with. Sorry that there was barely any action. But you will get some in the next chapter. Also I like to thank Jake for the beginning of the chapter. Anyway Happy New Year to you all. Please review and stay safe.
