Ben killed the serpents even though he had been swallowed by the female serpent. But he killed the female serpent with a brand new spell.
His new spell, Sun Mode: Super-Heated Body is something that he and A.I Chip came up with. The spell raises his body temperature of the fire on his hand. At the moment, he could only raise it to 1500 degrees Celsius, but he can increase it in the future.
This mode is actually the result of a miscalculation when he tried to raise his fire's temperature. He tried to raise the temperature of the fire on his hand. But instead of the fire, he raised his body temperature.
At first, he panicked because he thought his body was burned, but then he realized he didn't feel the heat at all. He tried to raise the heat and started to feel a little heated at 800 degrees Celsius.
He tried to find a limit, and it was 1500 degrees Celsius currently. At this temperature, iron will almost melt and it is even hotter than lava. He knew that the one thing limiting the spell's heat was his body. He needs to increase his physical power to be able to withstand more heat.
In this mode, Ben can also protect fire all over his body, like he burns his body. The fire will be the same temperature as his body, and he can control how big the fire is using his magic power. Ben used his fire projection to kill the female serpent earlier.
This spell wasn't perfect though and it has weaknesses. Other then a physical limitation, there's a magical limitation. It uses a high amount of magic power to raise the heat and maintain it every second.
Ben has a rather high amount of magic power, but he can only sustain this mode for 10 minutes with full magic power. He has low mastery over the spell that made him use more magic power. But within that 10 minutes, he was certain that he could defeat his opponents.
Another problem was that the heat would burn his clothes. Unless they were made from fire resistant material. He will continue getting naked after using this mode like he is now.
"This mode is really troublesome." Ben sighed.
He entered the cave that he left his backpack in. He brought some spare clothes with him for this situation. Ben put the clothes on and decided to check the room the serpents mated in.
He felt something ominous in this room before. He assumed it was one of the serpents, but it wasn't because he still felt it. Ben scanned the room for the source of the ominous feeling.
After some time, he discovered the source of the feeling. It came from the side of the cave wall, so it must be behind the wall. Ben tried to hit the wall with his hand, but it was very hard.
So a yellow magic circle appeared on the wall. He covered his right hand in bright yellow light and punched the magic circle on the wall.
"Sun Dragon Light Cannon!"

Ben used a minimal amount of power to not completely destroy the wall. He cracked the wall which was more than enough. He removed the cracked parts and dug through the wall.
After removing some parts, he found a black dagger. It had a simple appearance like a normal dagger with 2 blades. But the dagger has a black, ominous aura coming from it.
Ben didn't touch the dagger. He merely had A.I Chip scan it. Nothing useful came from the scan because A.I Chip didn't have enough data.
He decided to take it back to Roubaul and ask the old man to check it. Ben used a towel to grab the black dagger and covered the towel with it before putting the dagger in his backpack.
After confirming that there's nothing else here, Ben left the cave. He looked at the carcasses of the 2 serpents and sighed. He needed to take them to the village as proof he completed the job.
"How should I carry them? They're too big and long, so it's not very easy to carry them. Should I cut their heads off? No, I don't have the right tool. Damn, if only I could use my car to come here, I can tie them to the car and drag them back to the village." Ben grumbled.
Ben thought of a way to do this, but it seemed he could only drag the carcasses back by hand. He grabbed their lower lips and slowly dragged them back to the village. He walked backwards to hold the serpents a lot easier.
It took him 2 hours to return to the village because he lost his grip many times. Ben left the carcasses outside the village and made his way to the chief's house. The chief was surprised that he returned alive.
"Y-you're alive?" The chief was stunned.
"Oi, did you want me to die?" Ben raised an eyebrow.
"A-ah ha ha ha, what are you saying? I'm just glad you're fine, that's all." The chief laughed.
"Well whatever, I finished the job, follow me! You can also bring the villagers with you to reassure them." Ben told the chief.
He left the chief's house and the chief followed him. The chief ordered his son to call for the villagers. The chief followed Ben to the spot where he left the carcasses and the sight of 2 giant serpents surprised the chief.
"..." The chief wasn't able to say anything and his eyes were wide as his jaw dropped.
"Oi, are you okay?" Ben asked, concerned.
"I..." The chief swallowed his words.
DRAP DRAP DRAP*
The villagers finally arrived. They ran a little after the chief's son told them about the serpent.
"CHIEF, I HEARD THE SE-Oh my god!" Villager number 1 stopped in his tracks, stunned.
"T-T-TWO? THERE ARE 2 SERPENTS?" Villager number 2's eyes widened.
"T-their size, so big." Villager number 3 stammered.
"Chief, these are?" Villager number 4 asked.
"Yeah, they're the serpents that ate our livestock. Although I had no idea there were 2 of them. This problem is bigger than I thought. If we don't solve it fast, we might be attacked by 2 giant serpents soon." The chief grimly noted.
"W-who are the mages that killed these 2 serpents?" Villager number 3 asked.
The chief pointed at Ben. The villagers couldn't believe it. But the proof was right in front of them, so they can't refute it.
He didn't care that the villagers doubted it, he just wanted to return home as fast as he could. Ben took his car that he parked near the village entrance. He took his car to the location of the serpent carcasses.
"Why are you bringing your car here?" The chief asked.
"To pull them." Ben placed his car near the carcasses.
"Pull them? Why?" The chief was confused.
"I want to sell them. They're strong magical creatures, so they'll fetch a good price." He explained.
"Oh, okay. That's mage stuff, I don't really know about it." The chief admitted.
Ben then pulled a thick rope out from under his car's rear bumper. He places ropes with a pulley in front to pull his car in an emergency situation. But he never thought that the rope's first usage would be to pull 2 serpents.
Ben tore a hole in each serpent's lower jaw. Then he passed the rope through the hole and tied it to the car.
"Well then, the job's done, so I'm leaving." Ben told them.
"Alright, here's the job completion letter." The chief said.
Ben took the letter before he set off and left the village with the 2 serpents. He drove carefully while keeping tabs on the serpent carcasses.
He was planning to sell them, but he decided against it. He was going to bring them back to his village because they can use it. He'll ask Roubaul to create magical items from the scales and bones. As for the meat, they could eat it if it's edible.
"I hope Gramps is able to make some fire resistant clothing. I don't want to be naked every time I use Sun Mode: Super-Heated Body." Ben said to himself.
With that, his first solo job had come to an end.
