Ben defeated all 17 Yeti's and he panted heavily. He had used a lot of magic power with that last attack. The 6th Hell was a new attack that requires half of his full magic power. That's why it is very strong, but can also be used only once a battle.

"I was lucky to be able to fight these guys here. If I continued fighting at the summit, then I don't know how long it would take to defeat them."

Ben looked up at the sky and started consuming sunlight. He restored some of the magic power that had been drained during the battle with the Yeti's. He sucked in sunlight until he had 3/4 of his magic power back. He would regain the remaining magic power naturally.

Ben then checked on the dead Yeti's he had defeated. All 17 didn't have any external injuries. But all of them were cooked internally due to the heat from Ben's attacks.

Bella emerged from the car and flew over to Ben's head. He rubbed her head and asked her to get him their dismantling tools. Bella nodded and returned to the car to get the tools out of the car's trunk.

Ben then started to strip the Yeti's of their skin and fur. The Yeti's meat was well cooked and they're still steaming. Ben sniffed it and it smelled really good. He was curious and inspected a piece of meat before eating it.

"Hmm?! It's good. It's not that delicious, but it's good. Hey Bella, try this." Ben gave Bella a piece of Yeti meat and she ate it.

"Wow! Good, like beef." Bella happily said.

"Right? I never expected Yeti meat to taste this good." Ben replied.

He decided to take the meat back to their village. But there are too many of them, so he took as much as his car's trunk can hold.

Surprisingly, the car's trunk was able to hold all the meat since Ben didn't take the internal organs. He was going to leave those for wild creatures to consume.

"Waste." Bella suddenly stated.

"What is it?" Ben asked.

"Bones." Bella said while pointing at the Yeti's bones strewn around the area.

"You want to take the bones as well?" Ben asked with a raised eyebrow.

Bella nodded and he sighed. He finally took the bones and put them in a big bag. Ben tied the bones to the top of their car and Bella was satisfied. They only left the internal organs.

Ben and Bella then returned to the summit because she wanted to play. She was happy and played with Ben a lot by throwing the snow. They played for 3 hours before deciding to return home. The sky was getting dark at this point.

Ben and Bella returned to the village at midnight. Bella fell asleep on the way home and Ben was exhausted too. So he decided to get some sleep and report how the job went tomorrow. He handed the loot to the night guards.

The next day, Ben went to the guild hall to report how his job went. He explained everything to Roubaul and it surprised the old man. Roubaul didn't know that there was more than one Yeti there.

"It's good that you fought them on the foot of the mountain. It would have been a lot different if you battled them on the summit." Roubaul said.

"Yeah, the avalanche turns from a disaster into luck." Ben nodded.

"But still, what prompted you to try the Yeti's meat? If I was you, I wouldn't even try a lick of that meat." Roubaul said with a disgusted expression.

"It smelled good, so I couldn't help it. Besides, I was curious because I never tried it before. We'll never know about something unless we try it ourselves." Ben replied truthfully.

"That's true, but weren't you freaked out by the fact the Yeti looked like a human?" Roubaul asked.

"What? They don't look like humans, they have white fur and aren't able to talk like we can. What are you talking about?" Ben asked, giving Roubaul a strange look.

"You are very unique, Ben boy." Roubaul sighed after becoming speechless.

Ben raised an eyebrow in confusion. A Yeti looked more like a ape to him. In his days in the military, Ben was trained to eat anything. He has eaten monkeys and apes when he was in a jungle with his unit.

That's why Roubaul's statement was strange, but he brushed it off. Ben the left the guild hall to meet up with the girls. Bella was playing with them, so Ben would just go and accompany them.

The next day, Ben went into town with the girls. They would sell some of the Yeti's skin, fur and bones. Surprisingly the bones had value after Roubaul inspected them. They could be used to make magic items and luckily Bella asked Ben to take them back to the village.

Roubaul even said that all the parts of high ranked monsters are valuable. So if Ben defeated another high rank monsters, he would need to bring everything back with him.

That's why he regretted leaving the internal organs which could be used to make medicine. The internal organs must have a high price if they have medicinal value.

They sold all their items to their usual merchant, Bakul, who bought and sold magic items and materials. Roubaul was the one who told Ben to sell all his loot to this guy after he asked the mysterious friends Ben had never met until now.

Bakul has always given them good prices so far. So Ben will sell his loot to this guy. It's hard to find a merchant willing to buy stuff for these prices. Other merchants would try to haggle the prices a lot, but Bakul always buys stuff from Ben at reasonable prices.

"You're an S-Class mage now? Damn, aren't you 13 this year?" Bakul asked with a surprised tone.

"He he, I've worked really hard." Ben replied shyly while scratching his head.

"I'm sure you have. But, the standards for S-Class in each guild is different. An S-Class in one guild might be weaker in another guild." Bakul said.

"Are you trying to imply something?" Ben angrily asked.

"Ah, I wasn't implying anything bad by that. I'm just stating the issue of the S-Class rank in guilds." Bakul quickly said after flinching.

Ben was silent for a moment.

"Certainly, the standards for each guild is different. But the standard for S-Class jobs is the same. S-Class mages are people that can take these S-Class jobs. So unless guilds want to sacrifice their strongest members, then they shouldn't promote them to S-Class." He said.

Ben is right, S-Class mages need to be able to complete jobs by themselves. They can have a team, but they also need to be able to do it alone.

The standard for an S-Class mage should be their ability to finish an S-Class job or defeat an S-Class creature. But each guild has it's own standards and some are lower than others.

Guilds with lower S-Class standards will only put their best mages in danger. They want to raise their guild prestige by having more S-Class mages. But if their S-Class mages are weak, then they won't be able to finish their jobs and they'll lower the guild's prestige.

Cait Shelter's standard is quite high because Roubaul doesn't want Ben to die on duty. The Etherious he fought during the S-Class promotion exam could be categorized as a mid-level S-Class monster. That's why if Ben couldn't defeat it, he wouldn't pass the exam.

"How many Yeti's did you defeat?" Bakul asked.

"17, but I just sold 10 to you because we need the other 7 for materials." Ben answered.

"17?! Even if these Yeti's are low level S-Class monsters, defeating 17 of them means you're particularly strong for a S-Class mage." Bakul said with a surprised expression.

"Gramps said I still have a long way to go. At the moment, I can take mid-level S-Class jobs. There are high-leveled ones or even SS-Class, 10 Year Jobs and 100 Year Jobs. I wouldn't survive if I took those jobs now." Ben stated.

"Well, you need to take it one step at a time. Only a few S-Class mages are eligible to take SS-Class jobs." Bakul said as he gave the payment to Ben.

Ben thanked Bakul and then left with the girls. They wanted to go to Akane Beach for a vacation. They haven't been to a beach in the last 3 years, so they wanted to see it. It's important to take a break every now and then.
