X3runner: Honestly I don't know why they aren't used more, they are one of the best things to come out of Scooby Doo and I think they deserve their very own series! Like they are such interesting characters and I think people forget that Thorn is an actual witch! She's part Wiccan! They could do so much with them and they were supposed to make a return in a feature film but it got axed by WB!

"I don't like her..." Ruby said.
Currently, team RWBY and JNPR were still setting up for the Vytal Ball, only to see the Hex Girls on stage, setting up their equipment while also talking to Jaune, who looked a little nervous while talking to the girl in Red and Black, the girl who stole Ruby's style!
"Who? Thorn?" Yang asked
"Yes," Ruby seethed
Yang looked at her baby sister and then looked over to Thorn, who was talking to Jaune, and her big sister instincts kicked in. "Why, because she's talking to Jaune~?" Yang teased
"NO! I MEAN YES! I MEAN NO!" Ruby cried, "I don't care if she's talking to Jaune! She stole my look!"
Yang raised her brow in confusion, "Your... look?" Yang asked.
"YES!" Ruby cried, "Black and red is my color! My look!" Ruby cried
yang sighed, "Sis, I hate to tell ya, but red and black doesn't even belong to you, in fact, you're not the only one who can pull it off or even the best at it," Yang told her sister.
Ruby gasped in shock and pointed an accusing finger at her sister with a glare, "LIES! Who else can pull off black and red!?"
A wide smug smile formed on Yang's lips as she looked at her sister, "Thorn" Yang teased.
Ruby glared at her sister and growled at her older sister with a cute pout.
Yang laughed and brought her little sister in a side hug and ruffled her hair, "Ah don't worry about it Sis, you're still making the style different," Yang told her.
Ruby smiled, "Yeah, I guess your-"
"Besides, If you're worried that Thorn'll take VB from you, I can just beat her up," Yang teased
"I don't like Jaune!" Ruby cried out.
"Oh, that's a shame, he's pretty easy on the eyes," came a sudden voice
"AAAHHHH!" Ruby and Yang cried.
Ruby and Yang turned around only to see Luna, smiling at them.
"How long have you been there!?" Yang asked.
Luna smiled at both sisters, "Since you threatened to beat up my friend," Luna replied.
Yang looked worried, "I-I uh! I-"
Luna began to laugh, "I'm just messin' with ya!" Luna said with a smile, "But it is a shame you don't like Jaune, he seems like a pretty good guy,"
Yang nodded, "He is, trust me, VB's a good guy, he's just... a bit dorky," She replied, "Not really my type, ya know?"
"Really?" Luna asked, a grin coming to her lips "Dorky how?" Luna asked.
"Let's just say he can go into detail about the entire lore of X-Ray and Vav," Yang said with a chuckle.
Ruby smiled, "I actually find it really cute!" She said.
Luna smirked, "Oh~ Sounds like my kind of guy~!" She said as she turned her head to Jaune with a smile. She looked like a hungry predator looking at its prey.
Luna's remark dumbfounded Yang and Ruby.
"What?" The sisters asked.
Before more could be said, Thorn called Luna back to the stage to practice more of their songs, and they watched Luna go to the stage, but before she got on stage, she looked at Jaune, gave him a wink, and then blew him a kiss before getting back on stage. When they looked at Jaune, his face was shaming Ruby's cloak.
All of this still made the sisters question everything that had just happened.
Thorn looked at her bandmates with a smile, "Are you ready, sisters?" Thorn asked.
"Ready!" Luna and Dusk cried with toothy smiles.
Thorn nodded and the lights went off, and red, green, and purple lights lit up around the stage, and the girls began to play one of their songs.
Thorn was the first to sing as she played her guitar, "~Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air~! We may look bad, but we don't care~! We ride the Wind~! We feel the Fire~! To love the Earth is our one desire~!" Thorn sung.
"To love the Earth is our one desire~!" The 3 sang together.
RWBY and (J)NPR were stunned by their singing, Jaune wasn't at all surprised, he knew the others were going to be blown away since he was. The 7 teens thought the group played lovely, even Weiss, and the lyrics of the song were just as hypnotic and upbeat as the girls on stage. Jaune turned to see the smiles on his friend's faces and he smiled as he saw the stunned look on their faces, and he turned back to watch the Hex girls continue to play.
"~Love the Earth, it's only fair~ It's one big Earth that we must share~ We love the Earth with all our Fire~! It's in our Souls, our one desire~!" They sang as they continued playing, "~Earth! Wind~! Fire~! And air~! We may look bad, but we don't care~! We ride the Wind~! We feel the Fire~! To love the Earth is our one desire~! To love the Earth is our one desire~!"
Yang smiled brightly as she was nodding her head to the beat, she then turned to Jaune with a beaming smile, "Hell yeah VB, you came through!" She told him.
Jaune looked at her, "Were you expecting me to fail?" he asked with a peered gaze.
Yang waved him off, "Nah! I had complete faith in you!" She said, still beaming with a smile.
"Right..." Jaune glared.
"~Nature is a precious gift~ It will make your Spirits lift~ Love the Earth with all your Fire~! It's in your Soul, your one desire~!" They sang/cried "~Earth! Wind~! Fire~! And air~! We may look bad, but we don't care~! We ride the Wind~! We feel the Fire~! To love the Earth is our one desire~! To love the Earth... Is our one desire~!" They sang/yelled out and the song came to an end.
The two teams clapped for their performance and Yang even let out a whistle before she ran up to the band with her hands raised up into the sky.
"That was awesome! Your guy's music is great!" Yang shouted with glee.
Thorn chuckled, "Thanks, Yang," Thorn told her, "We can play a few more songs if you want, there's a few more of our own but we also can play other music," Thorn told her.
"That would be great," Yang said, "How about you show us two the other songs you can play and we can break for lunch, sound good?"
Thorn nodded, "Sure," She replied.
With that, the He girls took a sip from their water bottles and prepared for their next song, and they began to play, showing off the other types of music they could do. The two teams loved the songs they could play and Yang wanted them to play both their own songs and play some other songs that would fit with the ball that they were able to play.
So far, things were looking great for the ball, and the huntsmen students were getting along very well with the amazing female musicians.
Later, as the girls finished performing, Jaune was helping the girls pack some of their equipment, as were the others.
Luna looked at him with a smile, "So, Jaune, you got a date for the dance?" She asked.
Jaune looked at her and shook his head, "Nah, I don't know any girls besides RWBY, Nora, and Pyrrha, and trust me, I don't think any of them are interested in going to the dance with me besides going as friends," He told her.
'You'd be surprised!' Pyrrha thought.
Luna smirked, "Really? Then how about you go with me?" she asked.
Jaune's eyes widened with a shock, "R-Really?" He asked.
Luna walked over to him and nodded, "Yeah, you're totally my type, blondie~!" Luna said, making her finger glide under his chin.
Jaune gulped and a furious blush came to his face, "O-Oh..." He said.
Dusk rolled her eyes at her bandmate, "Luna! Stop flirting and let's get going!" Dusk said with a smirk.
Luna giggled, still looking at Jaune. "Oh but I don't wanna go, I think I wanna stare into Jaune's eyes a lil' more~!" Luna teased with a smirk.
Jaune's face became super red, "Uh... I..." Jaune tried to speak.
Luna smiled, "Say, why don't you hang out with me in Vale, and we have some fun, what d'ya say~?" Luna asked. "I know this great bookstore with the recent issues of X-Ray and Vav," She told him.
"Uh... sure," Jaune said without thinking.
"Awesome!" Luna said, she then grabbed Jaune by the collar and pulled him away with her as they left the auditorium. "See you guys later~!" She said with a happy tone.
Pyrrha and Ruby were dumbfounded as they watched the pair walk off and a twinge of jealousy. Weiss was also shocked, Ren was proud, Blake wasn't paying attention, while Nora and Yang were happy for different reasons.
Dusk and Thorn smiled but let out a twin sigh.
"She's doing it again..." Dusk said.
"Again?" Ren asked.
Thorn nodded, "Yeah," She replied, "Luna's a big ol' dork and a bit of a nerd, since a lot of people didn't share a lot of the same interests she did where we lived, she gets interested in people with the same interests, and wants to see if they're dating material"
Dusk giggled, "Guess he's got some charm if he's wooed Luna," She said.
Weiss rolled her eyes, "Oh please, Arc's got as much charm as Cardin does at having a chance at getting a date,"
Yang smiled, "What of Jaune and Luna get it on?"
Weiss smirked, "As if! Should Arc even get a kiss from Luna, I'll go on a date with Sun!" Weiss said.
Yang chuckled, "I'll hold you to that Weiss-cream!" Yang said with a smirk.
Meanwhile, Sun felt a foreboding presence lurk around him, as if his fate had been sealed, while Neptune had also felt his chance with a certain woman go down, but he didn't know which one.

I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER!
I first posted this as something of a one-shot, but I loved the idea that I wanted to make a full story, I was stuck on coming up with a story for the characters and I feel like I finally have one!
But what do you think is going to happen with Jaune and Luna? Will Ruby steal Thorn for stealing her look? Will Weiss go on a date with Sun!? Will there be some type of mystery to be solved!?
All I can say is just wait for the next chapter... which hopefully won't take long like this.
