With his body being slowly weakened, Ben knew he had to end this battle quickly before his body was completely paralyzed. He also can't replenish his magic power without any sunlight or fire.
"Hmm? Wait? Can I eat gravity?" Ben asked after realizing he had a gravity element.
He never thought of this before because he never had a reason to do it. He always had access to sunlight and his magic power capacity was immense. So he didn't need to replenish it that often during battles.
"There's only one way to find out." Ben said.
He opened his mouth and bites the air like when he ate sunlight. His intent was to consume the gravity power that is available everywhere. However, nothing happened.
"Eh? It's not working. What's wrong with-"
BOOM*
A big, dark energy bomb suddenly exploded in front of Ben. He was too distracted by this thought and didn't notice the incoming attack. Ben was blown back, but he was fine and could stabilize himself.
"Shit, there's no time for that. I'll figure out a way to replenish my magic power later. They need to be defeated first." Ben said while sliding backward.
Ben still had 1/2 of his full magic power now, but he needed to finish this quickly. Plasma Mode took a lot of his magic power and it will continue taking more of his magic power. The remaining 3 enemies won't be easy to defeat, so half of his magic power capacity was not enough.
The Metepedes moved toward him, so Ben thought of a simple strategy. His priority was to kill the 2 S-Class Metepedes before dealing with Grossalia. She was the most troublesome, so he needed to make sure she didn't have any assistance.
Ben rushed towards the 2 S-Class Metepedes while keeping tabs on Grossalia. She might launch a surprise attack like before. Her attacks so far were very powerful and her poison was the most dangerous of all her attacks.
The 2 S-Class Metepedes quickly crawled towards Ben. But when they met him, they moved in different directions. One of them moved up, while the other tunneled underground.
Ben can't chase the one that tunneled underground, so he leaped towards the one that moved up. He grabbed the body of that Metepede with his sharp claws. Ben's claws can pierce the carapace, but it was very thick and his fingers couldn't touch the flesh.
That wasn't a problem because he just needed to grab it. Ben then clenched his right hand into a fist and a orange magic circle appeared on his fist.
"Sun Dragon Plasma Fist!" Ben punched the Metepede's carapace with all his strength. But his punch was strong enough to crack the carapace. He wanted to throw another punch, but the other Metepede tunneled out of the ground and moved towards him with it's fangs covered in dark magic.
Ben ignored it and threw another punch to break the carapace. He broke it right before the other Metepede approached his position. The Metepede that had it's carapace broken wriggled in pain and made the other Metepede's attack miss.
This was a good opportunity, so Ben turned his hand into a spear and stabbed the Metepede's body. Then he raised his hand's temperature and released the plasma energy. The energy release generated a big impact and the heat burned the Metepede's flesh.
"SCREECH!" The Metepede screamed in pain.
The other Metepede and Grossalia moved to attack Ben while he was burning the Metepede's flesh. Grossalia created a big, dark energy blade from the front while the other Metepede attacked from the back.
The other Metepede bit the Metepede that was attacked by Ben to stop it from wriggling. They intend to sacrifice this Metepede to kill Ben using Grossalia's dark energy blade.
The dark energy blade came towards him at high speed. But before it hit Ben, he jumped down very fast. The dark energy blade didn't stop and hit the Metepede who's carapace was broken.

Without it's carapace, the Metepede couldn't defend itself from the blade. It's body was cut easily by the blade and it even passed through to cut the other Metepede that was holding it's sibling in place.
Grossalia's dark energy blade was very strong that it instantly cut the 2 S-Class Metepedes. It even went as far as making a big cut in the ceiling. She killed her own children, but failed to kill Ben.
"Well, thanks for the help. I guess." Ben said in a mocking tone.
Grossalia fumed in anger after failing to kill Ben, but she killed her own children instead. These 2 Metepedes were her strongest children. Now she was alone and didn't have any more troops.
"ARGH, YOU HATEFUL HUMAN! YOU KILLED ALL MY CHILDREN!" Grossalia angrily shouted.
"Huh? You were the one who killed those 2, not me. I just killed the other guys." Ben protested.
"SHUT UP! IF YOU DIDN'T MOVE, THEY WON'T HAVE DIED!" Grossalia yelled.
"Don't be unreasonable! As if I would let myself be hit by that blade. I still want to live." Ben said.
"ARGH! I'LL KILL YOU, I'LL DEFINITELY KILL YOU NOW!" Grossalia screamed.
She suddenly released a massive amount of magic power which made Ben flinch. She is stronger than he sensed and she had more magic power. She hid her full power quite well and now she released it all.
"Damn, she is a top tier S-Class creature. She must be the strongest magical creature that I have ever faced. This is bad, with my remaining magic power, this battle will be hard. I need to return to the surface to gather sunlight." Ben said with a shocked expression.
Grossalia was stronger than Ben predicted. She is still a high level S-Class creature, but her magic power almost reached the limit of S-Class and almost reached SS-Class. Magic power doesn't represent battle power, but it's still a big factor in battle.
Ben has categorized the ranks above S-Class. He came up with SS-Class and SSS-Class to make things easier. S-Class has magic power from 100,000 to 200,000. SS-Class has magic power from 200,000 to 300,000. SSS-Class has magic power from 300,000 to 500,000.
The SSS-Class has a bigger range because Ben assumed them to be the strongest. He couldn't find a limit, so he put it at 500,000. Besides, he never met any creature above his S-Class category. So he can't divide the ranks perfectly.
It might be too high or too low, but it's a good standard for him to use when he faces an enemy. At least he will be able to judge his winning chance by categorizing them with these ranks.

Ben has around 150,000 magic power, so he is a mid-level S-Class mage based on his own categories. He doesn't know about dragons, but he predicted there above SSS-Class. Not to mention gods who are said to be stronger than dragons.
He couldn't even imagine how much magic power the dragons have. But Ben knew he needed to reach that level one day. His target was Acnologia, so unless he reached that level, he would never win.
Ben focused on Grossalia again and decided to head to the surface. He left while Grossalia was stewing in her anger. Ben looked at the hole where he came from and immediately leaped up to it.
"As if I'll face that monster down here." Ben said as he leaped up to the hole.
