Ben headed to the surface as fast as he could. He didn't want to fight Grossalia in the underground chamber because it was her territory. He also needed to replenish his magic power, so he needed sunlight.

The way up to the surface was far and he hadn't reached it even after running for 5 minutes in Light Mode. His body also started to ache again because of the poison.

Suddenly, Ben felt an earthquake that made him stumble and fall. It was bad timing for an earthquake. But then Ben realized it wasn't actually an earthquake.

"SHIT!" Ben cursed as he looked down.

He assumed a defensive position and suddenly Grossalia's massive Metepede head came out of the ground. Grossalia's human body had disappeared from the Metepede head, but that was no longer the issue.

Grossalia's head hit Ben and kept moving up, destroying the earth above. Ben was pushed up by Grossalia and broke through the soil and rocks. She tried to crush his body using the hard ground.

They kept moving to the surface with Ben holding the brunt of breaking the earth. He poured more magic power into his Light Mode to protect his body. Light Mode wasn't ideal for defense, but he couldn't assume another mode now.

Grossalia moved quickly and Ben felt a lot of pain. The forces from his front and back are very strong. Blood started to trickle from his mouth and nose, but he kept trying to maintain his magic and protect his body.

It didn't take long for them to reach the surface. Grossalia kept moving up and Ben was sent flying into the sky. He flew rather high, but finally, he was free from the crushing attack.

"GAHK!" Ben was finally able to spit out the blood in his mouth.

Ben's Light Mode disappeared as he flew into the sky. He had used almost all of his magic power to maintain his Light Mode. If he held back even a little of his magic power, his body might be crushed to pieces.

"SCREECH!" Grossalia screamed to the sky in rage.

Grossalia's front body rose to the sky and easily towered over the trees on the island. She is very massive and tall compared to the island which looked small. She was even bigger than she was in the underground chamber because she just consumed her children.

Her current length is around 100 meters and she stood up to 50 meters. Her width is around 10 meters with her legs at 5 meters each. She had grown two times her previous size and she was the biggest creature Ben had ever seen.

Grossalia's massive body can also be seen from the battleship that patrolled the island. The eyes of everyone on the ship widen in disbelief. They had never seen a creature as big as Grossalia before.

"W-what is that thing? Is that a centipede?" A soldier asked with shaky eyes.

"If centipedes are as big as that thing, no human would be alive now. That must be a magical creature." Another soldier added with shaky eyes.

Bella, Marc and the ship's captain also look at Grossalia in disbelief. They think they're hallucinating, but then realize it was real. They never expected to see such a gigantic creature.

"Damn, the only things bigger than that are dragons and gods. If that thing leaves the island, it'll be a disaster. I don't know if we can stop it if it reaches mainland." The captain said with shaky eyes.

"Dragon! Ben?!" Bella exclaimed in surprise.

She suddenly remembered that he should be fighting that giant. She flew to the island in a panic because she thought something bad happened for the giant centipede to appear.

"BEN! BEN!" Bella screamed in a panic.

"BELLA, NO!" Marc screamed as he caught her just in time.

"B-but, Ben." She said with a worried look in her eyes.

"He will be fine. He is strong, right? If you go to the island, Ben won't be able to fight freely and it will be dangerous. So just stay here and wait for his victory, alright? Don't you believe in him?" Marc was trying to calm Bella down.

Bella became silent before nodding.

"Bella believes in Ben. Ben is the strongest. Ben won't lose." She said.

"That's right, you need to believe in him. So just stay here and wait, alright?" Marc asked.

Bella nodded and remained still. She looked in the island's direction worriedly, but she knew she couldn't do anything now. Marc and the ship's captain also feel helpless. They can only hope Ben can defeat that thing.

Ben is still high in the sky now. He was flung really high up, so it will take some time for him to land again. It is quite a problem because he never fell from such a altitude without any help like a parachute.

"I can think about that later. This is a very good chance because I'm high in the sky." Ben said while looking up.

Ben saw the sun right above him. It's mid-day now, a very good time for him to replenish his magic power. The sun was at it's peak at this time, so he will get a lot of energy after eating the sunlight.

Ben opened his mouth and started sucking up the sunlight. He sucked it up like he hadn't eaten in a week. Ben kept sucking as he fell and his magic power gets filled fast.

Grossalia watched as Ben fell from the sky and prepared her attack. Her human body also came out of her Metepede's head and it can be seen clearly now.

Her human body is comprised of the upper half from waist to head. She is quite gorgeous by human standards. Her breasts are big too and she has purple hair, just like her carapace.

However, her eyes are like purple beads without any white because she's basically a bug. Her teeth are sharp and her hands are like blades without any fingers. Also, she is naked.

Grossalia arched her Metepede body to the back. Then she pointed a lot of her legs at the falling Ben. Her legs were covered in dark magic and big dark purple magic circles appear on those legs.

"DIE, HUMAN!" Grossalia shouted.

Grossalia fired multiple dark spears from her legs at Ben. Each spear is 1 meter long and they're rather thick. She kept firing those spears even though the first spear hadn't hit him yet.

Ben sensed the incoming attack and spun his body to look down. A lot of dark spears were flying towards his direction and will surely hit him. But he didn't panic, instead he grinned.

"Your attack is rather late. I've filled my magic power to full capacity. Besides, this is my territory now, so I can rampage to my heart's content here." Ben said with a big grin on his face.

Ben clapped his hands and closed his eyes for a moment. Then he opened his eyes widely.

"Sun Mode: Ultimate Human Form!" After he said that, a very bright and hot golden flame started to engulf Ben's body. The golden flame was very hot and bright because it is the sun's power itself. Currently, this is Ben's best mode that combined all his elements with an almost perfect ratio.

Every creature on the island covered their eyes because of how bright it was when Ben assumed his Sun Mode, even Grossalia. The ones on the ship also needed to cover their eyes.

"What's that?" The ship's captain asked, covering his eyes.

"BEN!" Bella exclaimed excitedly, jumping around.

"That's Ben's magic? Phew, so he's fine. I'm relieved." Marc sighed.

They are relieved and forgot that Ben still needs to face the dark spears. Ben put his hands in front of him and spread his palms. Then a very big golden magic circle appeared in front of him.

"Sun Dragon Solar Shield!" The golden magic circle was engulfed in golden flame and formed a 5 meter round shield. Then the dark spears start to hit the golden shield one by one. But each one of them was burned up and destroyed upon contact with the shield.

Grossalia's eyes widened after seeing her attack wasn't effective. "Where did he get this magic power? How can he suddenly get so strong now?"
