Grossalia was surprised by Ben's sudden increase in power. She knew she had used a lot of magic power before. He should've lost a lot of magic power before, but now he could use strong spells again.
She can't think of anything with her bug brain. Even though she was very strong, she lacked battle experience. There was nothing on this island that could've threatened her for years, so she never fought an opponent as tough as Ben.
Suddenly, Ben moved his golden shield to the right. Then the shield started to spin and created friction in the air. Grossalia's eyes widened because she knew what Ben intended to do even with her lack of battle experience.
"That thing is dangerous even for me. I can't afford to be hit by it." Grossalia said.
She suddenly tunneled underground to escape.
"You want to run? I won't let you." Ben said.
Ben then threw the spinning golden shield at Grossalia's location. The spinning golden shield moved fast and struck the ground right after Grossalia's tail entered it.
SWISH* *BOOM*
The golden shield hit the ground and cut it like a spinning saw blade. It cut 30 meters down to the ground before it ran out of power. The soil that was cut by the shield melted like lava because of the heat.
BOOM*
Ben landed on the ground with a big impact.
"She escaped, huh?" He asked, looking down.
Ben tried to sense Grossalia's magic power, but she burrowed too deep and was out of his magic sensory range. He frowned because he needed to make her come out so he can fight on the surface.
But then, he could sense Grossalia's magic power, so she is within range. However, she stayed underground and didn't come to the surface. It caused Ben to click his tongue in annoyance because he can't attack her if she remained underground.
Suddenly, he sensed magic coming up to him from under the ground at high speed. He had a bad feeling, so he leaped to the left. Right after he jumped clear, a dark energy blade came out of the ground and moved towards the sky.
"Damn, she plans on attacking me from underground." Ben said unhappily.
Ben sensed magic again and he jumped clear to avoid another dark blade. The attacks continue, so Ben jumped around to avoid them. Then he deactivated Sun Mode to converse his magic power.
It pissed him off because he finally had the chance to use Sun Mode. But now he needed to deactivate it shortly after he started using it. He didn't want to waste magic power to dodge these attacks.
"I'll make you regret this, damn creature." Ben gritted his teeth in anger.
He kept running to dodge Grossalia's dark blades that she fired from underground. He ran into the forest and saw the creatures there running away in a panic.
"Sorry about this, you guys. But you will live longer if you manage to survive this." Ben told the creatures even though they can't understand him.
Ben ran while sucking up sunlight and coming up with a plan to lure Grossalia out. He can't go underground, so he needed to lure her to the surface again. But nothing came to mind after thinking for a few minutes.
Suddenly, Ben felt his chest tighten a little. "Ugh, the poison is still active and my body's condition has worsened. I need to lure her out now, or my body will reach it's limit first."
Ben looked around to figure out a way to lure Grossalia out. He jumped to avoid another dark blade and looked down at the dark blade came from. Nothing looked strange at first, but Ben then realized something and his eyes widened.
"How could I be this stupid? The answer was always right in front of me." Ben said with a big grin.
Ben then assumed Sun Mode again and flashed to a hole created by a dark blade. He plunged his hands into the hole and smirked.
"Take this, you bastard! Sun Energy Release: Solar Flare!" Ben yelled.
He released a lot of solar energy through his hands. The released solar energy entered the hole and moved down following the hole. Shortly after that, multiple solar energy pillars erupted from the holes created by all the dark blades.
The solar energy pillars spread all over the island because Ben ran around the island. They move in many directions based on the holes' position and direction. These holes are connected because they were made by Grossalia's attacks.
Some creatures and plants were hit by them and were burned to death because of the heat from the solar energy. Ben wasn't able to do anything about it now because his priority was defeating Grossalia.
Suddenly, the ground shook and a massive tail emerged. Grossalia finally came to the surface after Ben's solar energy release hit her underground.
She could actually withstand the power of Ben's attack. However, the heat that his magic produced was very high and she couldn't block it. Heat can't be blocked easily even with a strong magic shield.
"ARGH, HOT! VERY HOT!" Grossalia screamed as she came out of the ground.
Grossalia wriggled around with her massive Metepede body and destroyed several trees. The heat from Ben's attack made her wriggle in pain. She was burned and had some burn marks on her body.
Ben smirked after seeing this.
"You've finally come out. Now you can't escape anymore. I will finish this before you escape again." He said.
Grossalia continued wriggling for a minute before she stopped wriggling. She stared at Ben with a murderous expression. Ben just smirked and assumed his Sun Mode again to fight Grossalia.
"Come on!" Ben exclaimed while taunting Grossalia.
"DAMN HUMAN, I'LL KILL YOU!" Grossalia screamed while moving up.
Grossalia moved up and then lunged in Ben's direction from above. She covered her Metepede head with layers of Dark, Earth and Poison Magic. Then she slams her head at Ben who stood on the ground.
Ben cocked his right hand back and gathered magic power in it. Then when Grossalia's head was about to hit him, he struck. Ben punched Grossalia's head from the right to the left and didn't not take it head on.
His punch caused the direction of Grossalia's head attack to change and she hit the ground on Ben's left side. But Grossalia doesn't stop and continued to move then go up again to attack Ben from above. She could easily do that with her snake-like body.
Ben deflected her attack again, but she did the same thing over and over. She attacked from every direction only for them to be deflected by Ben. It made her angrier, so she started to spam all her magic to attack Ben.
Grossalia forged dark spears from all her legs and fired them at Ben. She then continuously sprayed poison from her mouth at him. Then she also forged earth spears to attack Ben from below. She did all of that while attacking Ben with a headbutt.
Ben was being overwhelmed even though he was in his best mode now. "Damn, she's going crazy. If this continues, then I'll die first. It seems I need to resort to that."
