The explosion produced by Ben's spell generated a big wave that spread everywhere. It also reached the ship that floated near the island. The ship's crew immediately did what they could to face the big wave.

Luckily, they're professionals and have faced big waves like this before. Instead of panicking, they prevent their ship from sinking.

All of the soldiers head to the island with Marc and Bella following them. Their eyes widen at the destruction left behind by the battle between Ben and Grossalia. Now they understood the level of a S-Class creature's battle.

"Will the island return to normal after this? I wonder." Marc asked curiously.

"Eventually, though not anytime soon. If the kingdom decides to take care of this island, it will recover faster." The ship's captain said.

"Why would they take care of it?" Marc asked.

"Well, I figure they will build a military base here. After the Alvarez Empire's invasion last year, the kingdom started to increase it's defensive power. This island is a good place to detect any movement from the north and it is quite far from the mainland. So if we can detect something from here, we can warn the mainland early." The ship's captain explained.

"Oh, that makes sense." Marc nodded.

The group finally reached Ben's location after 15 minutes. He was lying on the ground unconscious after using up all of his magic power with his last attack. Bella flew over to him and tried to wake him up, but he didn't respond.

A medical team checked on his condition and said that he was fine. He had a lot of injuries, but his life is not in danger. Everyone was relieved and they immediately take him to the ship.

"Hey, kitty girl, how old is he?" The ship's captain asked.

"Ben is 15, Bella is 4." Bella answered.

"15!? He's even younger than my son, but he already does dangerous work like this." The ship's captain said sadly.

"Ben is strong." Bella replied.

"It's not about strength. I just feel sad that a young man like him needs to face death many times. I hope that the future will be better so that young people like him won't be put in danger again." The ship's captain said.

They stop their conversation and board the ship. The soldiers walk around the island and inspect it. They find a lot of creatures that survived by hiding on the outskirts of the island. They note it all and record everything they found on the island.

The soldiers also found Ben's car which wasn't in good shape right now. It was hit by Grossalia's stray attacks and the defense system broke after being hit repeatedly. The car had a lot of broken parts and it would take time to repair it.

"What should we do with this?" A soldier asked.

"Let's take it to the ship. We can help him with it despite not being able to help deal with the monster." Another soldier added.

"You're right, but this won't be easy." The first soldier said.

The soldiers then pull Ben's car onto the ship. It still had 3 wheels, so they just needed to work on the 4th wheel. They use a cart to replace the 4th wheel and are finally able to take the car to the ship.

After the soldiers finish their job, they all leave the island and return to the mainland. A moment after that, a ripple appeared in the area where Ben fell.

Then a hole in space appeared and a man with black hair and clothes emerged from it. If old and experienced mages are here, they will recognize this man. He is the black mage that is said to be the evilest mage, Zeref.

"A Dragon Slayer. He is quite strong. It doesn't look like he is an artificial Dragon Slayer, but who is he? I don't remember him being one of the Dragon Slayer kids from 400 years ago." Zeref said. He tried to recall all the Dragon Slayers he knew about.

"Well, maybe I've just never heard of him before. I wonder how Natsu is doing right now? If he is as strong as this one, then maybe he will be ready to kill me in a few years. Maybe they can work together to kill Acnologia." Zeref said with a thin smile.

But then he sighed.

"Maybe I'm being too hopeful. They're still too young right now. But I really hope they will be ready when the time comes."

Zeref looked around for a moment before stepping into the hole in space. He didn't want to stay and accidentally kill whatever was living on the island.

3 hours later, the battleship that went to the island finally returned to the mainland. Ben was still unconscious. Well, he had woken up once, but then he fainted as a result of his motion sickness.

Ben was then taken to a hospital to get thorough treatment. Marc will take care of it, so the ship's captain and his men can do their jobs. They still have many things to report to their superiors after this.

It took 3 more hours for Ben to wake up in the hospital. The sky had turned dark because it was now 7pm. Ben looked around and found out he was in a hospital. Bella was sleeping beside him peacefully, so he smiled and relaxed again.

"Phew, it's been a long day." Ben said while looking out the window.

Ben relaxed and tried to check his condition. A.I Chip scanned him and the result relieved him. His injuries weren't life threatening and the poison was no longer in his body.

"A.I Chip, display my stats." Ben said.

"Tsk, my physical stats increased. The growth from a difficult battle is always high. Should I avoid a hard battle to stop it? I only have 10 points to spare in stamina." Ben said, rather pissed off.

Ben was happy that he got stronger, but he was also worried. He isn't allowed to surpass 230 points in physical stats. It will accelerate the growth of his Dragon Seed and start his dragonization.

"A.I Chip, do you have a solution?" Ben asked.

"Hmm, I never found magic or tools that had such an effect, but that seems to be a nice solution. It will be impossible to stop my physical power's growth in 3 years without outside assistance. We can think about the side effects later, the problem needs an immediate solution now." Ben stated.

With his current progress, Ben is sure he will surpass the 230 mark in the next 3 years. If he continues growing after a fight like this, then he will surpass in less than a year. He can only halt it using magic or tools.

"I'll ask Gramps after we return. Maybe it's time to tell him about my issue with the Dragon Seed." Ben said while looking at the ceiling.

Ben never told anyone around him about the Dragon Seed. Only he, A.I Chip and Smog's soul knew about it. But now he was no longer able to hide it because this is getting dangerous.

Roubaul might have a solution and can help Ben. So he will tell the old man, but he will still keep it a secret from the others, especially his sisters. They won't be able to take it calmly and it will just cause them to become worried.

Ben sighed and ignored that problem for the time being. He didn't feel good with the injuries he had received and being wrapped in bandages. He also can't sleep because he just woke up, so he decided to meditate to purify his magic power.

"Let's leave that problem for my future self."
