"Let's continue, old bastard." Ben said while grinning and slamming his fists together.

"What a persistent brat. If you're determined to die, then I'll help with that." Jose said as he summoned many big shade tentacles around him.

Ben grinned and covered his limbs with the light element. He found out the shades were weak to the light element. They are made of dark energy, so it was natural. Light is their enemy.

Jose controlled his shades to attack Ben from different directions. Ben can only look at them with his right eye currently, but his enhanced senses helped him feel every incoming attack. But even if he sensed them, he couldn't deal with them all.

Ben tried to block and counter every tentacle attack. But there are too many of them and they're fast and agile. They are also strong enough to push him back even when he could block them.

However, Ben wasn't discouraged and became even more excited. It was rare for him to face a difficult opponent. He can make it easier by using long-range attacks, but that wouldn't help him grow and he doesn't like that.

As he kept fighting close range with the shades, Ben kept getting better at fighting. The damage he took was reduced, while he can inflict more damage to the shades. He kept growing during the fight and Jose finally realized it.

'Bastard, this kid is using my shades to train. He is looking down on me.' Jose angrily thought.

Jose extended his hands towards Ben and gathered a lot of his shades. He made a big, dark energy ball again on his hands. It is bigger and stronger than the one that he used to throw Ben out of the base before.

"That attack again? I won't fall to the same trick twice even if you power it up. But these things are disturbing me." Ben said while attacking the shade tentacles.

Jose almost finished his spell, so Ben decided to teleport away. He appeared high up in the sky and then extended his right hand to the sky. Then a big gold magic circle appeared on his right hand and a miniature sun appeared on it.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art! Sunshine: Cruel Sun!" Ben exclaimed as the miniature sun enlarged until it was 5 meters wide. It was a lot smaller than the one he used to defeat Grossalia, but it was a lot more powerful than that one.

Everyone in Magnolia could see the bright miniature sun. It was very bright even though it was a bright day with the real sun high in the sky. They can also feel the heat coming from the miniature sun.

The Fairy Tail mages who have defeated their enemies also look at it with slight difficulty because it is too bright to look at. They can feel the power of this spell because they are close to it.

But they also feel another strong power on Phantom Lord's base. The power produced by these spells made their battles look like child's play. To them, it resembled Clash of the Titans.

"DIE, YOU DAMN BRAT!" Jose screamed as he fired a very big beam of dark energy.

"Sorry, but you can die first. You already have a thick smell of earth. So you are ready to enter a graveyard soon." Ben said with a smirk.

Ben's expression suddenly became very serious and his eyes glow gold. He looks at the incoming dark energy beam and then threw his miniature sun at it. He focused on controlling his miniature sun that will clash with the beam of dark energy.

BOOM*

A booming sound produced by the 2 spells clashing spread around the battlefield. A big shock wave was also generated from the clash and the wind blew hard. Everyone on the battlefield protected themselves from the impact while looking at the clash with widened eyes.

"What kind of battle is that?" Gray asked after defeating Juvia.

"A battle of monsters." Elfman explained after defeating Sol. He rejoined Gray and Erza who had just defeated Aria.

"But who's fighting Phantom's master?" Gray asked.

"His name...is Ben Cooper." Ryu answered after appearing out of nowhere.

"A S-Class wizard from Cait Shelter." Erza continued.

"Cait Shelter? Never heard of it." Gray said.

"It's a very small guild located deep in the forest, so that's no surprise. He's also rarely taken jobs that involve people, so not a lot of people know about him. But he's very famous among the high-ranked mages for taking difficult S-Class jobs alone. He is a lone wolf and his job completion rate is 100%." Erza explained.

Gray's eyes widen in surprise because he knew it is very difficult to get a 100% job completion rate. That means one can't even fail once on their jobs and that's not an easy feat to achieve. It's even harder for someone working alone.

"I thought Gildarts was the only one capable of that." Gray stated.

"Then you need to expand your knowledge. There are lots of amazing people out there that you never knew existed." Mira said after suddenly appearing behind them.

"Sis." A surprised Elfman said.

"The other fights are over. There's only one battle left. Let's watch it and hope it ends well." Mira said.

They turn and witness the clash between the miniature sun and the beam of dark energy which had been a stalemate for a few minutes. Both Ben and Jose exerted a lot of power into their attacks. They were very focused and it led to a draw.

'Damn, this old guy is really strong. Even Cruel Sun can't break his spell. But if he can't handle this, then the Wizard Saint title is a joke. Fine, I will use all my remaining magic power.' Ben thought while keeping himself in the sky using a barrier as a foothold.

Ben sucked up some sunlight and was ready to place his magic power into the miniature sun.

But suddenly a voice called out.

"That's enough!"

Makarov's voice could be heard near the battle site. Ben looks down and saw Makarov floating near the clash between his and Jose's spells.

"Master Makarov! You've woken up." Ben said in surprise.

"I have. Now stop your fight, I will take over from here." Makarov told Ben.

"But I'm almost done." He protested.

"I know, and you have my gratitude for that. But if you continue, you will need to take care of the aftermath with the Magic Council. You should know how troublesome they are and what they can do to your guild." Makarov pointed out.

Ben clicked his tongue before dispelling his magic and teleporting to the ground. Jose also dispels his magic at the same time and smirks when he sees Makarov. Failing to defeat Ben was frustrating, but his real aim was Makarov, so he didn't mind.

Ben sat in the corner while grumbling unhappily.

"Can you leave this place?" Makarov asked.

"No way. I agreed to stop my battle, so at least let me watch yours." A pissed off Ben replied.

"Fine, just don't get hurt." Makarov said.

"I would be dead already if I couldn't protect myself during your battle." Ben told him.

Makarov sighed and then looked at Jose who was ready to fight him. It didn't look fair because Jose expended a lot of energy during his battle with Ben. But then again, Makarov just had his magic power restored, so it was a fair fight.

Ben looked at both old men while still grumbling unhappily. Then he remembered Roubaul.

"Does every old man in the world exist to annoy me?" He asked.
