Wendy and Carla finally complete their job the day after the Festival. They worked hard to finish it quickly but couldn't finish it the previous day. It prevented them from attending the Festival in Magnolia and they are disappointed.

But it's also a risk for them as mages from a guild. They need to be professional and complete the job they've accepted. It's something that Ben and Roubaul needed to teach them, and they've done it.

"You've done a great job. We can always attend the festival next year, but we can't gain our client's trust again if we cancel the job after taking it. This is how we work as professional mages." Ben told the pair.

"I understand. It is very disappointing that we couldn't go to the festival, but it would be very bad if our guild lost people's trust." Wendy said.

Ben smiled after she said that and ruffled her hair, "That's right, trust is not easy to obtain. Let's pack our things up and deliver these herbs to finish the job."

The girls nod and they drive out of the forest. They head to their client's house in Oshibana. The client was a old woman who was a medical researcher. Her research required a lot of those herbs but it was too dangerous for her to enter the forest they were in.

After delivering the herbs and claiming the reward, they return to their village. This job was exhausting for the girls, so they need to rest immediately. They were so tired that they slept in the car on the way back home.

The next day, Ben called Mira and was informed about the Battle of Fairy Tail. It was quite surprising to hear about a scuffle within Fairy Tail. But he was happy Mira and Elfman were able to resolve it.

Afterwards, Laxus was excommunicated from Fairy Tail. Makarov was upset about the decision because Laxus is his only grandson. But he needed to do it as a guild master in order to protect people.

"Laxus, huh? He is very famous, but I never met him in person. I never thought that he would be a Dragon Slayer. It compels me to meet him and see his magic." Ben said.

"Do you want to fight him? He quickly lost to me, so you'll defeat him in no time." Mira said.

"No. I'm curious about his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic. Also, you seem quiet cheeky after defeating him." Ben noted while raising an eyebrow.

"He he, it's probably he became a S-Class wizard before me. I also know his strength and he was the 2nd strongest S-Class mage. But since I defeated him, I am now the 2nd strongest S-Class mage." Mira said smugly.

"2nd? Who is the 1st?" Ben asked.

"Oh right, you probably don't know who he is. He is our guild's strongest mage, our ace, Gildarts Clive." Mira filled him in.

"Ah! I remember now, I've heard about him a few times but I never really paid attention. Hasn't he be gone for a few years now?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, he's on a extremely difficult job now, a 100 Year Quest." Mira informed him.

Ben had heard about Gildarts and knew about the 100 Year Quest. That job is the most difficult one and it is quite famous among the high-ranked mages. So when someone took it, other mages would know.

But Ben didn't think about it too much, so he forgot. He had other things on his mind and didn't have time to worry about other people's business. He was busy enough worrying about himself and his guild to care.

Ben talked to Mira for a few minutes while planning a date in early November. Roubaul told him to stay in the village until the end of the month because there will be an important event. So he can't go anywhere until November, even for a date.

After talking to Mira, Ben went to see Roubaul. He wanted to discuss the important thing that Roubaul told him about that prohibited him from leaving the village. He met the old man in the guild hall and they talk.

"What is this important thing, Gramps?" Ben asked.

"Sorry Ben-boy, but I can't go into detail now. I will let you know in a few days. There were be a meeting for guild masters to discuss this problem. We'll talk after that." Roubaul apologized.

"Meeting? You never go to any meetings, so why did you suddenly decide to go to this one?" Ben asked.

"Who said I would be going? I will let my friend handle it while I stay in the village like usual. This meeting will discuss an important topic and we might be involved in it. So I asked you to stay for that reason." Roubaul said as he sipped his wine while talking, causing the wine to flow out of his mouth.

"If we get involved, then you need to go there, right?" Ben asked.

"Don't wanna, such a hassle." Roubaul muttered.

"Damn lazy fossil." Ben sighed.

"Anyway, I want you to prepare yourself. Something big will happen and I need you to be in your best shape. Wendy will also participate, so please help her." Roubaul informed him.

"Wendy too? Don't get her involved if is too dangerous." Ben said.

"It's okay. I know she can handle this, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten her involved. Besides, you know she won't grow if she keeps staying in her comfort zone. Also, you will be there to protect her." Roubaul insisted.

"Alright, we will prepare ourselves. But I want a detailed explanation after this." Ben informed his guild master.

"Don't worry, I will reveal everything." Roubaul replied.

Ben was confused when Roubaul used the word 'reveal' instead of 'explain'. But he didn't think about it too much and left the building. Roubaul stared at Ben's back with a sad expression without saying anything.

Since that day, Ben is training hard while also training Wendy. He is focused on training his magic power capacity that's very high already. His battle with Jose forced him to realize that his magic power capacity is not high enough.

People will think that comparing himself with a Wizard Saint is stupid. Jose is quite old and has trained for decades, so having a high magic power capacity is normal. But Ben had reached his current level in a few years, so he knew he could reach Jose's magic power capacity even faster.

Now, Ben's current magic power capacity is over 420 thousand points. It's only been 2 months since his battle with Jose, but he had increased his magic power by more than 50 thousand points. His magic power increased faster since he finished his journey because he had learned the best way to raise it in the Magic Library.

"I can increase it faster, but it will affect the quality of my magic power. Quantity is important, but so is quality and that might be even more important. It affects the power of my magic, so." Ben said to himself as he trained.

Ben continued training and also trained the girls following the schedule he came up with. Then finally after 9 days of training, Roubaul called him and the girls to the guild hall.

"So, what's the job?" Ben asked.

"Don't be impatient. First, I will explain the reason for all of this. Ben, I think you've heard of the Balam Alliance, right?" Roubaul questioned him.

"Yeah, I've taken out some of their lesser guilds on a few jobs." Ben nodded. Roubaul nodded.

"This job concerns one of the main three, the Oracion Seis." He explained.
