Ben quickly sprinted to the source of the explosion in his Light Mode. He was worried about his sisters because the enemies knew what they were up to. That explosion meant only one thing, there was a battle underway. The enemies probably attacked the others, so he had to get there quickly.
Ben soon arrived at the battlefield and saw almost everyone had been defeated. The only ones that remained standing were Mira and Erza, but they had a hard time fighting 5 enemies by themselves.
Mira fought a woman, a big guy that looked like a pastor and a middle-aged man with tattoos on his face while Erza was up against a man with a snake around his neck and a man with goggles. They were being overwhelmed by enemies with good teamwork.
Without waiting, Ben flashed over to Mira's position and kicked the pastor-like guy, Hoteye. Ben's kick sent Hoteye crashing into some trees in the forest. Everyone was surprised by his sudden appearance because none of them noticed him.
"Ben!" Mira exclaimed in surprise.
"Sorry it took me so long to get here." Ben apologized while looking at the enemies who stop their attack.
The dark mages back down and gather around their leader. They look at him carefully because he appeared in front of them and attacked Hoteye.
"He is fast." Cobra said.
"Tsk, I can move faster than that." Racer scoffed.
"The Sun's Child, you've really come. You are the biggest uncertainty in this plan." Brain said while looking at Ben and peeking behind him.
Brain noticed Wendy who peeked behind a rock and smiled happily as she saw Ben. He grinned when he saw Wendy and then raised his skull staff. Green colored dark energy swirled around his staff's skull and then a magic circle appears in front of him.
"Dark Rondo!" Brain exclaimed as he fired multiple dark green energy bullets at the Allied Forces.
Ben extended his right hand to the front and made a big red magic circle.
"Flame Shield!" Ben yelled as a giant rotating shield of fire appeared in front of them.
The green bullets hit the flame shield and can't bypass it at all. Brain continued firing his magic, forcing Ben to keep his shield up to protect everyone. It lasted for a minute before Brain stopped his attack.
Ben also dispelled his shield and went to attack Brain. But much to his surprise, the dark mages have vanished. He tried to find them but can no longer detect them even with his magic sense.
"They've run away, huh? It seems we were late." Jura said after finally arriving to the battlefield.
"At least everyone is safe." Ben noted after looking around.
"You are right. Also, you finally showed up." Mira responded.
"Hmm? Where's Wendy?" Ben asked because he could no longer see her.
"She is hiding behind that rock. Eh? Where is she? The cats are not here either." Mira blinked in confusion.
Ben frowned and used his magic sense to find them. He sensed a small magic source far behind the rock and went there. It was Carla, but she was unconscious and had a bump on her head.
"Carla, wake up!" Ben yelled.
Carla woke up and looked at Ben, still dizzy. Ben gave her water to drink and she took a sip.
"Where are Wendy and Bella?" He demanded.
"Wen-AH! THEY WERE CAPTURED BY THE ENEMY!" Carla screamed in a panic.
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed in surprise.
When Ben blocked Brain's attack, he ordered Racer to capture Wendy. He recognized Wendy when he saw her and seemed to have plans for her. Racer did as he was ordered and quickly captured Wendy.
But the cats were disturbing him so he tried to throw them off. He only succeeded in throwing Carla off as Bella and Happy continued to disturb him. With no time left, Racer decided to take both cats before he and his guild mates left the area.
This enraged Ben. "How dare they? Kidnapped? They would dare to kidnap my sisters?"
His magic power flared up and it alerted everyone there. Their eyes widen and they back off because of the pressure from his magic power. Even Jura was scared of Ben's magic power now.
"BEN! CALM DOWN! YOU ARE SCARING CARLA!" Mira shouted as she held the trembling Carla.
Ben flinched after seeing Carla trembling really hard, he had scared her with his magic power. So he calmed himself down and controlled his magic power again. He should protect her but he's scaring her instead.
He is being too emotional and couldn't think rationally, something out of character for him. Too many things happened in a short amount of time, so his mind is in a mess. He can usually control himself while angry, unlike now.
"I am worried about them too, but we can't do anything by getting angry now." Mira pointed out while calming Carla down.
"Sorry, Carla. I'm too emotional right now." Ben apologized for his outburst.
"It's okay. I know you are very worried just like me. But don't get angry like that again." Carla said with wet eyes.
Ben smiled bitterly after seeing his little sister was more composed than him. He hugged her while rubbing her back to calm her down. Then he turned around to look at the rest of the Allied Forces who have gathered behind him.
"Sorry for what happened earlier. My sisters are in danger, so I can't help but be angry." Ben apologized to the others.
"It's okay, we can understand that, um?" Hibiki said with a questioning look because he didn't know Ben's name.
"Ben Cooper from Cait Shelter, sorry for being late." Ben replied.
Everyone nodded and now understood why Jura, Erza and Ichiya were eager to meet him. His outburst revealed how powerful he was and they can only think of him as a extremely strong mage.
Ichiya then used his Perfume Magic to heal their injuries. But Erza was still in pain after Cobra's snake Cubellios bit her and she had been poisoned. Ichiya's perfume couldn't remove the poison from her body.
Erza suddenly said she doesn't want to hold them back and insisted someone cut her arm off. Lyon was about to follow her request, but Gray stopped him and asked if there was another way to deal with the poison.
"There is." Ben suddenly stated.
"Really? How?" Gray asked.
"Wendy can remove the poison with her magic. She is a Sky Dragon Slayer and she has the ability to heal people." Carla explained while still in Ben's arms.
"Dragon Slayer?!" Everyone exclaimed in surprise.
"Wait! Aren't you a Dragon Slayer too?" Lyon asked after remembering what Erza told them during the meeting.
"Yeah, the two of us are Dragon Slayers. But that's not important now. Our priority is saving Wendy and the cats. Then she can heal Erza before the poison spreads all over her body. For now, we need to slow the poison down." Ben said.
Everyone was still surprised to hear Cait Shelter had 2 Dragon Slayers. But he was right, so they didn't dwell on it and focused on their job. Saving Wendy also meant saving Erza, so they needed to move quickly.
Ben then made a small cut on Erza's arm, right on the spot where she had been bitten. Then he squeezed some blood out of it along with the poison. It would reduce the amount of poison in her arm and slow it's spread.
Ichiya healed the wound and Ben tied the arm that had been bitten to slow the poison's spread. Then he asked Gray to freeze Erza's arm a little just to slow her bloodstream, not freeze it completely.
"Alright, that'll do for now. Don't move around so much and your heartbeat won't rapidly increase. It will just cause the poison to spread faster. Now, let's do our job." Ben said after standing up.
