The Allied Forces arrived at Cait Shelter in a few minutes time. Everyone, except Ben, rode in a repaired Christina while Ben piloted Light Runner because he wanted to be alone for a moment.
In the village, the mages got some new clothes to replace their old ones. The villagers help them choose from their village's collection. Fabric is one of their specialties, so they are proud of their clothes.
Ben watched this with a sad expression. He would be very happy to have visitors to their village if it was a normal day. But now he knew the truth and can't look at things the same anymore.
After everyone got new clothes, they have dinner together before they go to sleep. They are all very tired and need to sleep even if it was just for a few hours because it's 2am right now. The others were sleeping peacefully, except Ben who couldn't fall asleep.
There was a lot on his mind that prevented him from falling asleep. He eliminated Nirvana, so Roubaul can leave this world peacefully. It is a good thing, but not an easy thing to accept.
Soon, it was morning and everyone had breakfast together. Ben's mood got worse as the time drew closer. Then finally, the mages from the other guilds prepared to leave.
"Everyone, I need to thank you for what you've done. I also want to apologize for hiding the truth about Nirvana and us." Roubaul announced because they've heard that the villagers are the Nirvits' descendants.
"We don't mind at all." Natsu said.
"I don't mind it either, master." Wendy added.
"Thank you, but I apologize for hiding the truth that I will reveal now. We are not the Nirvits' descendants, we are the Nirvit Tribe itself. And the one who created Nirvana 400 years ago was me." Roubaul informed everyone.
"What?!" Everyone else exclaimed in surprise.
Ben just closed his eyes and clenched his fists silently. Roubaul then told them the story he told Ben before the meeting. He told them the story of Nirvana and then the story of his guild which was created because of Wendy.
Everyone was surprised to find out each of the villagers was an illusion. This managed to fool Ben for years, so it was a very powerful illusion. So none of them realized that they were illusions, even Jura.
Wendy, Bella and Carla then start to cry when Roubaul made the villagers vanish one by one. The girls begged for them not to disappear and stay there. This sight made the other very sad and heartbroken.
Finally, the only one left was Roubaul who would also leave soon. Then suddenly, Ben stood in front of the old man with a smile, no tears flow from his eyes. Without saying anything, he knelled in front of the old man and placed his head on the ground.
"Gramps, thanks for everything you've done for us over the last 7 years. I'm sorry I caused you a lot of trouble and even fought with you for petty reasons. But even if we fight a lot, please know that I never hated you. You are our parent, our grandfather, so we are forever grateful to you and will always love you. Now, you can rest in peace. Don't worry about us, we will be fine. I promise I will always protect my sisters. I will even destroy the world to protect them." Ben said firmly. Roubaul smiled.
"Thank you Ben-boy. I'll leave them to you." He said.
Ben then raised his head and body to assume a sitting position. He smiled while looking at Roubaul as the old man started to disappear while smiling too. Wendy, Bella and Carla didn't smile because this was too sudden. They cry beside Ben as Roubaul finally disappeared.
Ben hugged his sisters while smiling warmly and telling them that everything will be alright. Their Cait Shelter guild marks slowly disappear as they hug each other. Without Roubaul here, the Cait Shelter guild no longer exists.
After a half hour, the girls finally calm down a little although they are still sniffling. Ben stayed with them until they could finally accept it. Mira and Erza approached them as they had managed to calm down.
"Mira, Erza, I'm sorry but can you take care of them for a moment? There's something I need to do." Ben asked the two women.
Mira and Erza nod as Ben stood up and left his sisters in their care. Then he slowly walked towards the forest. Gray tried to call his name, but Jura stopped him and shook his head.
Ben walked deeper and deeper into the forest until he was far away from the village. Then he stopped and leaned against a tree. He sadly looked at his forearm which no longer had a guild mark again.
Suddenly, his head is pulled forward by someone and landed between soft and warm cushions. Mira gave chase and held his head to her chest. She rubs his head softly while smiling warmly.
"It's okay, no one else will hear you here, your sisters won't hear you. You are allowed to cry like them. There's no need to be strong again; only you and I are here. So cry." Mira said warmly.
Tears finally flow out of Ben's eyes. He cries while hugging Mira who keeps rubbing the back of his head. He held his tears back because he wanted to part with Roubaul while smiling and he needed to be strong for his sisters.
But he is still human and has feelings. Losing his loved ones is not something that he can handle easily. He lost his blood family in his past life, now he lost people he viewed as family.
At the very least, he didn't want to lose his sister or he will really break down. He doesn't know what he'll do if that happened. Maybe he'll lose his rationally and stop being human.
Ben cried for a few minutes before stopping and preparing to go back. He can cry, but he wouldn't do it for too long. He had released his emotion, so now he needed to move forward and prepare for the future.
"Are you okay now?" Mira asked.
"Yeah, thanks Mira." Ben nodded.
"Don't worry about it. We've promised to always support each other and be there when needed." Mira said.
Ben smiled and kissed Mira before they return to the village. He had thought about what he and his sisters will do after this. But he will get their opinions before doing it.
Sometime later, Ben and Mira arrive in the village. They see everyone had been waiting for them, even Wendy and the cats. Ben then told his sisters to pack their things because they will leave the village. They can no longer stay here without anyone beside them.
"Where will we go, Ben nii-san? Erza-san offered me a chance to join Fairy Tail. But I will follow your decision." Wendy said while they packed their belongings.
"Fairy Tail, huh? What do you think about it?" Ben asked.
"I think it's nice. We know a few people from there. Also, I know more about Fairy Tail than the other guilds. So I feel safer joining it then the other guilds." Wendy said.
"Then we will join Fairy Tail." Ben declared.
"Eh? Really?" Wendy blinked.
"Yeah, we know more about Fairy Tail and our guild was close with them. Putting aside my relationship with Mira, Master Makarov from Fairy Tail was Gramps' friend and has helped us many times in the past, Gramps told me that. Also, our jobs were actually taken from Fairy Tail because our guild was fake. In a sense, we were unofficial members." Ben explained.
"I never knew that." Wendy admitted.
"I knew about yesterday before doing the job. Anyway, do you all agree with this?" Ben asked.
The girls nod, so they agree. They will join Fairy Tail.
