After deciding to join Fairy Tail, Ben and his sisters exit their houses. They've packed up everything they had in the village. Most of their items were spatial storage while some are in bags.
They go out and meet the others who are also ready to leave. Ben is rubbing his sister's hair while they hold onto his shirt sadly as they look at their village before leaving. They still have their guild this morning, but now everything has disappeared.
"A guild is just a place to gather people. What's important is the people themselves. As long as you remember everyone, then they'll still be alive in your heart." Ben stated.
"*Sniff* Yes, I will remember them, there's no way I will forget them." Wendy said while still sniffling.
"Good girl." Ben said with a smile.
"Then we will give you a ride to get out of this forest before we move separately, men." Ichiya said.
"Thanks." Ben replied.
Wendy then cast Troia on Ben, Natsu and herself so they won't have motion sickness. She had started feeling motion sickness a few months ago. So that meant she was strong enough as a Dragon Slayer and that's a good thing.
Although it's quite sad that she can't enjoy riding without Troia, being stronger is better because she can protect herself a lot better now. Besides she just needed to cast Troia before a ride and then cast it again later even though the effect will be weaker.
They all board Christina and leave the village. It only took them 5 minutes to get out of the forest. They bid each other farewell before splitting up based on their groups. Team Natsu then started to walk away, but Ben called out to them.
"Where do you want to go?" He asked.
"Where? We will find a wagon to rent." Gray questioned back.
Ben blinked his eyes and didn't say anything before summoning Light Runner. He also summoned a big cart that was specially made to be connected with Light Runner.
"If you're fine with technology, we can use this." Ben said.
"Of course we are fine with it. Why didn't you tell us you had this earlier?" Gray sweat dropped.
Ben connected the cart with Light Runner before everyone got in it. Then they head to Magnolia with Ben, Bella and Mira in the car while the others were in the cart. Ben opened the car's sunroof so everyone could talk to each other.
The effect of Troia wore off on Natsu and Wendy sometime later and they are wasted. But Ben was fine, leaving the others confused. He explained that his passion for cars is the reason he will never succumb to motion sickness in one.
"Although I will feel it on other vehicles." Ben stated.
"I had no idea motion sickness could be picky like that." Lucy sweat dropped.
The group finally arrived in Magnolia after a slow 4 hour drive. They get out of the car that stopped in front of the Fairy Tail guild hall.
"Wendy, Bella, Carla this is a new chapter in our lives. So prepare yourself for it." Ben told the three.
"Yes." The 3 replied.
The group finally entered the Fairy Tail guild hall and everyone stared at them. Wendy clung to Ben shyly while Carla inspected the Fairy Tail mages. Ben is also looking around while Bella just lazily laid on his head.
"Welcome back you guys, and welcome to the others." Makarov said from the counter.
"We're back, master." Mira replied.
"Mira, why did you leave your job to Elfman and the Thunder Legion?" Makarov asked while pointing to 4 wasted people at the bar.
"He he, I thought they could do it, so I wanted to test them." Mira said, obviously lying.
"It's not about their ability to finish it or not. That was a S-Class job, so a S-Class mage's presence was needed. Fortunately nothing happened and they completed it albeit with a lot of difficulty. But your action endangered your guild mates lives, so you will be punished after this." Makarov declared.
"Eh, no way." Mira said dejectedly.
"As for you guys, congratulations on your successful job. But you brought some new faces along." Makarov noted.
"Master Makarov, we've known each other for a few years, but your members might not know me, so I'll introduce himself. I am Ben Cooper and this is Wendy Marvell, Bella and Carla. We were members of Cait Shelter." Ben introduced them all.
"Were?" Elfman asked from the side.
"Cait Shelter has been disbanded because our master passed away. I won't go into detail, it's a sensitive topic for us. But you can ask Natsu's team about it. Master Makarov, I believe that you understand what has happened now." Ben explained.
"Yeah, I fully understand it. I'm glad that Roubaul-san can finally get his peace after all these years. So, what will you do now?" Makarov asked.
"We want to join Fairy Tail." Ben said.
"Are you sure about that?! This place is a lot different from your previous guild, you know." Makarov said with a smirk.
"You've helped us many times in the past, so if we need to join a guild, then we will join yours. Besides, aren't you happy to have 2 new Dragon Slayers?" Ben asked with a smirk.
"DRAGON SLAYERS?!" Everyone shouted in surprise.
"Heh, you always know what to say. Alright then, I will accept all 4 of you." Makarov said.
"YAY! 2 NEW DRAGON SLAYERS!" Some men shouted.
"TIME FOR A PARTY!" Makarov shouted.
"YEAH!" Everyone replied.
Then, a celebration was held in the guild hall. The mages are talking with Ben and Wendy about their magic and experiences. Both of them just say a few things and hide the important or personal topics.
Team Natsu also talked to the others and told them what happened during their job. They also explained what happened to Cait Shelter so the others can understand it a lot better. At least they wouldn't bother Ben or Wendy about it.
The party lasted for a while because these guys really like to party. Some of them even fight and make the party merrier. The Fairy Tail members are used to it, but the new members were surprised by it.
They even challenged Ben to a fight and Natsu went first. He rushed at Ben vigorously and threw a punch at him, but Ben dodged it and then flicked Natsu's forehead. Natsu was flung back and hit the wall due to the flick.
"GYAH! WHAT KIND OF FLICK WAS THAT? IT'S SO PAINFUL!" Natsu shouted in pain as he held his forehead.
Ben just smirked and calmly drank his juice. There was no secret behind his flick, it was just a super-strong flick that he could use because of his strong physique. Well, the attack was also focused on one spot, so it was a lot more painful.
The others looked at Natsu and wondered if it was really painful. But Natsu didn't seem to lie, so now they were hesitant to challenge Ben. Elfman was the only one that didn't hesitate, he didn't bother to challenge Ben in the first place.
Their hesitation caused Ben to smirk.
"Chickens." He said.
Their ears twitched and they were angry now because Ben was calling them chickens. They immediately rush Ben together and attack him. But they were too slow for Ben, even Jet who used Speed Magic.
He dodged all their attacks and flicked their foreheads one by one. They were sent flying everywhere and then fall on the floor. They then hold their foreheads and scream in pain at the same time.
"OUCH!" The victims shout.
Ben sat down again and sipped his drink.
"Nothing beats the Flick of Love." He said. Makarov sweat dropped.
"Where's the love in that?" He asked.
