Emotions, thoughts and feelings
Converted into words to send
Transferred from one mind to another
To you alone they have been penned
I have always tried to communicate
In the only way I know how
It keeps the statements honest
As into your brain they plow
Each poem is something special
Conceived in that moment of time
May two hearts align
That is never ever a crime
