After failing to obtain the information he wanted, Ben set off for the capital. He passed through some towns on the way there and tried to gather information in those towns. But he still didn't get the information he wanted although he learned more about this kingdom.
"I don't need information about this kingdom as it will be of no use to me. What I really need to know is what happened to my guild and friends. Where can I get that information?" He sighed.
Day changed into night and Ben still didn't get any useful information. He entered a desert as he drove to the capital and suddenly found something surprising. It was a giant plant-like building with a familiar sign on it.
"Fairy Tail? It must be this universe's Fairy Tail, what a coincidence. Hmm, they are mages, right? Maybe they have information on what happened to my guild and friends. Let's give it a shot." Ben said as he approached the building.
Ben stepped out of his car and then entered the guild through the front door. He looked around and was surprised to see the members of this Fairy Tail were just like his guild mates. He would certainly mistake them for his guild mates if he didn't see the grown-up Wendy.
Everyone stared at him with widened eyes.
"Uh, is this Fairy Tail? I have..." He wasn't able to finish his sentence.
"MASTER!" Everyone happily shouted as they jump on him and make him fall to the ground.
"Huh?" Ben was confused as everyone stacked on top of him.
"Huaa. You've finally returned. We were worried about you." Mira cried.
"Where have you been this whole time?" Elfman asked.
The others also start asking him questions and confusing him even more. They suddenly called him master and act like he had been missing for a long time.
'Hmm? Do I have a counterpart in this universe? How could that be? I was not even born naturally on Earthland. Don't tell me that my counterpart is me from my past life? Damn, this is way too complicated.' Ben thought.
[Please calm down. You are correct about having a counterpart in this universe. However, your counterpart didn't come from the same source as you. That means he wasn't reborn from your past life, he's always been an inhabitant of this universe.]
'Huh? So he is a native like everyone else?' Ben asked.

'Hmm, you're right. This is a different universe from Earthland, so I can't use Earthland as the standard. Although, some things might be similar.' Ben thought as he looked at Mira who keeps hugging him while crying.
"Good for you Mira-nee. Your beloved has finally returned after several months." Lisanna said.
'So I am also Mira's boyfriend here. Also, this universe's Lisanna is fine, unlike-' Ben thought as he sensed something familiar about Lisanna.
'What's this familiar feeling? Where have I- Gramps?! Why do I feel the same thing that I felt when Gramps disappeared from Lisanna. Don't tell me this Lisanna is a spirit? No, that's not it. I won't be fooled by this universe's magic, it's level is too low. But I certainly felt something like when Gramps disappeared, so it must be about spirit. Hmm, what is it?' Ben thought.
While Ben thought about that, the guild wanted to celebrate his return. But he didn't have time for that so he needed to stop them even though he felt bad about ruining their excitement.
"Hold on, you guys! Sorry to tell you this, but I am not the person you think I am. Believe it or not, I'm not from this universe. So I am not your Ben or even your guild master." Ben told them in a serious tone.
He is prepared for them to laugh at him, but no one laughed and they looked down.
"So you are not our Ben? Then where is he?" Mira sadly asked.
"Sorry, I don't know. I came here to obtain information on the magic that pulled my guild into this universe. You are mages, so I thought you would know about it and decided to ask. I'm sorry if I disturbed you, I will take my leave now." Ben said as he turned around.
"Wait! Are you from that universe's Fairy Tail?" Elfman suddenly asked.
"Yeah." Ben showed him his guild mark.
"Actually, Natsu and Wendy from your universe were here as well. They were with 3 cats too." Elfman recalled.
Ben's eyes immediately widen.
"REALLY? Where are they now?" He asked.
"They were in Sikka yesterday, but they should've gone to the capital by now." A short-haired Lucy said after returning to the guild hall.
Lucy then explained that she was with them before. They even met Earthland Lucy and that was the reason Edo Lucy cut her hair, so she won't be mistaken as Earthland Lucy. But she left them alone and returned here to ask her guild mates to help them.
"Did you only meet them?" Ben asked, relieved that his sisters were all right.
"Yeah, but Earthland Lucy mentioned something about Mystogan sending her here through Anima." Edo Lucy replied.
"Mystogan and Anima? Can you explain further?" Ben asked.
Edo Lucy explained that Earthland Lucy hid inside her Celestial Spirit, Horologium, when the guild was pulled up into the sky. Then Mystogan sent her to Edolas through Anima. She then explained what Anima was, which is the thing that sucked Earthland Fairy Tail to Edolas.
"It seems Mystogan knows a lot about this. I need to find him. He must be in the capital now. Wendy will be fine with Natsu and Lucy. I will beat them up if they can't protect her." Ben threatened them.
"Do you want to go to the capital? It's very dangerous there." Mira asked, worried.
Ben smiled and rubbed her hair.
"I need to go and save my guild mates. I also need to save my Mira there." He said.
Mira nodded sadly because she also hoped her Ben will be here for her.
"It seems Earthland Ben is not so different from ours." Levy noted.
The others nod as they remember their current guild master who replaced their late guild master a few months ago, but then he mysteriously disappeared.
"Will you go now?" Edo Lucy asked.
"Yeah, you don't have to help us if you're not certain about our chance of victory. Your lives are important too, so you don't need to force this on yourselves. I will take my leave then. But before I do, can we discuss something Lisanna?" Ben asked.
"Me? Do you need something?" Lisanna asked back.
"Well, it's just something that bugs me. I promise it won't take long. I just want to be certain about something." Ben said with a serious expression.
Lisanna looked at Mira who nodded.
"Alright." She said.
