Mystogan explained everything about Anima and what happened to everyone in Magnolia to Ben. He was shocked to find out that the others had been turned into a lacrima crystal. They will be used to supply this universe with magic power.

"Wait! But why did nothing happen to me? Natsu, Wendy, the cats and Lucy are fine as well." Ben exclaimed.

"To tell you the truth, I don't really know why, but Anima doesn't work on Dragon Slayers. As for Lucy, she was sealed inside one of her Celestial Spirits which comes from the Celestial Spirit World. Maybe that's the reason she's fine. With the Exceeds, it's because they're from Edolas and the Anima won't work on them." Mystogan theorized.

"What?! They were from Edolas? I think you're mistaken. Wendy and I found Carla and Bella while they were just eggs, you know." Ben argued.

"And so was Happy when Natsu found him. I don't know the exact reason, but they were sent from Edolas through Anima." Mystogan pointed out.

"Hmm, well, it doesn't matter. They are still my cute little sisters. It's also not the main problem now, it's the lacrima. You've studied this thing and worked on it for years. So I would assume you know the way to return them to normal, right?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, we need to send them back to Earthland by reversing the Anima. It will take all the magic power from Edolas though." Mystogan nodded.

"You won't die just because you don't have magic power." Ben said.

"I know, that's why I planned this. But it won't be easy to pull off with the kingdom's interference." Mystogan replied.

"Don't worry about the kingdom, I'll keep them busy for a while. Apparently, my Edolas counterpart is a very wanted man. I will show up and direct their focus to me so you can focus on your plan." Ben offered to become a target.

"I figured you would say that. Natsu and co will also try to save the others, so I can move easier." Mystogan said.

"Them? Won't they be in trouble without their magic? I am very confident in my physical strength, but those guys aren't that strong physically." Ben questioned with some uncertainty.

"They will be fine. I've given Gajeel some pills that will allow them to use their magic power again. Here, you also need to eat it." Mystogan said handing a pill to Ben.

Ben took the pill and inspecting it before eating it. Then he felt like something was lifted off his shoulders. He produced a small fire on his hand and them dispelled it and checked the recovery rate of his magic power.

His magic power recovered at a somewhat normal rate. However, the power of his spells had been reduced and he needed to use more power to make it as strong as it was when he was on Earthland. He assumed it was because the Ethernano here was too thin.

Ben decided to rely on his magic item in battle. This way, he can do a lot of damage while conversing his magic power. Besides, he doesn't use his magic item that often, so he wanted to use it now while he had the chance.

After talking to Mystogan, Ben left the building. He went to the city to find Wendy's group. Edo Lucy told him they should be there already, so he wanted to meet up with them and make sure they were fine.

In the city, a celebration was underway. They celebrate the giant lacrima that they've just gotten through Anima. The citizens were oblivious about where the lacrima came from and thought it was a gift from god.

Ben knew about all of this from Mystogan, but it still pissed him off. He didn't do anything because that won't resolve the problem. What he needed to do was make sure Mystogan's plan was successful.

'I need to make sure no one damages the lacrima. It might harm those that were turned into the lacrima.' Ben thought.

Ben created 3 clones and sent them to guard the lacrima crystals. A clone guards the crystal in the plaza while the other 2 guard the bigger lacrima. They don disguises before guarding the lacrima crystals.

Then he continued searching for Wendy's group in the capital. He made 4 more clones to help him with his search. But it wasn't exactly easy to find them in the city.

Even after searching for a few hours, he still hasn't found them. Suddenly, he heard a faint voice calling for him. He looked at the source of the voice and saw Bella running towards him amidst the crowd. She wore the T-Rex costume he purchased for her in the past.

"Ben!" Bella yelled as she jumped on him.

"Bella! You found me, good girl." Ben said as he caught her.

"Smell." Bella stated.

"You can smell me? Ha ha, that's good. Where are the others?" Ben asked.

"Caught." Bella answered.

"What? Who captured them?" Ben asked, surprised.

"Bad Erza! Smell Ben, Bella ran." Bella yelled.

"Erza's counterpart, huh? Did you run off alone?" Ben asked.

"Carla, Happy, run. Separated." Bella replied.

"So you, Carla and Happy went somewhere else, huh? I hope they're fine. But why didn't you fly?" Ben questioned her.

"Hide. Bella flies, Carla can't." Bella explained.

"Oh, so you made yourself hidden by not flying. No wonder you used your T-Rex costume, smart girl. But why can't Carla fly? And how could Natsu and Wendy be captured?" Ben asked.

"No magic." Bella replied.

"Hmm, they haven't received the pill from Mystogan, huh? But it's strange that you can fly while Carla can't. It seems I can't wait for your plan to begin, Mystogan. There's no way I'm going to let them hurt Wendy and Carla. Let's go Bella! We need to save the day." Ben said with a grinning.

"Kay." Bella replied excitedly.

Ben and Bella head to the capital from the front blatantly. Now, he didn't don a disguise and left his face exposed. It caused the palace guards to mistake him for Edolas Ben who had a high bounty on him.

"Sorry, but I don't have time for a prolonged fight with you. I need to be fast and save Wendy. I also need to find Carla, so I'll make this quick." Ben said with a grin.

The soldiers rush at him with their weapons and he raised Pendragon above him. The solar energy from Ben's Dragon Slayer Magic flowed into Pendragon. Then he swung Pendragon down and released the solar energy.

*SWISH* *CRASH BOOM*

His swing created a big golden arc that moved towards the castle's gate. It broke the ground as it moved along and the impact pushed the soldiers away. The golden arc hit the gate and instantly destroyed it.

Ben walked calmly amidst the destruction while attacking some guards that came his way. These guys are weak and only have numbers as their advantage. He can defeat them without the need for his magic.

"Do you know where Wendy is?" Ben asked Bella.

Bella nodded and pointed to the left. Ben grinned and headed that direction while attacking the royal army that tried to stop him. They were no match for him even though he didn't use his magic and only used his sword. Bella also helped him using her Gatling gun to shoot the enemies.

Ben then reached the end of the courtyard, but 3 people appeared in front of him. He knew who 2 of them are after gathering information. They are 2 of the 4 captains of the Royal Army, Hughes and Sugarboy.

"Woah, amazing, you defeated them all so easily." Hughes said happily.

"I expect nothing less from Fairy Tail's guild master, 'Demon Lord' Ben Silverstone." Sugarboy said.

'De-Demon Lord? Damn, he has a better moniker than me, bastard.' Ben thought frustrated.

The 2 royal captains were confused after seeing Ben act strangely. But they still keep their guard up because they know Ben isn't an easy opponent to face and they might lose even though they're together. Ben stopped and sighed before he looked at the 2 captains.

"You know, I'm in a hurry so could you get out of my way?" Ben demanded.

"Too bad, that's not something we can do." Sugarboy smirked.

"That's too bad." Ben said before he disappeared.

He suddenly appeared between the 2 captains and grabbed their faces. Then he slammed both of them to the ground with all his power and instantly knocked them out.

"You should've gone out of my way when you had the chance." Ben said as he walked forward with Bella on his head.
