Ben's group left the prison with Ben being the only person who knew Edolas Ben killed Dennis. The others were following him when he tried the new spell before, so they don't realize it. Edolas Ben also killed Dennis cleanly so there was no sound at all.
"So, what will we do now?" Moza asked.
"We need to go Fairy Tail and meet Lisanna. But I'm worried they've changed their location. When I was there, Edo Lucy was asking her guild mates to help us in the capital. I'm afraid that they're on their way here and we'll miss each other if we go there. Edo Ben, do you have a way to contact them?" Ben asked.
"Sorry, I don't. If I did have it I would've contacted them a long time ago." Edo Ben admitted.
"Figures. Then it seems we need to take care of everything in the capital first so we have nothing to worry about later. Mira, you go with the cats and help the others. Edo Ben and I will take the fight to the king. We are near the castle and there seem to be fewer guards, so this is our best chance." Ben said.
"Alright, be careful." Mira replied.
"OI, WHO ARE YOU CALLING CATS! WE ARE EXCEEDS!" Moza screamed.
"You are still cats in my eyes." Ben smirked.
Moza kept protesting but Ben ignored him and went to the castle with Edolas Ben. Mira finally calmed Moza down and they went to help their friends. The Royal Army has chased them and they must be fighting now.
On the way to the castle, Ben spoke to Edo Ben. "Are you alright now?"
"Hmm? Why are you asking that so suddenly?" Edolas Ben asked.
"You've killed Dennis and avenged your parents, right? I'm just worried that you might feel bad after killing someone. Are you feeling alright now?" Ben asked again.
"So you know, huh? Well, I don't know about you but I've killed a lot of people. So killing Dennis was easy. Also, I feel relieved after killing the man who killed my family." Edo Ben said.
"That's good if you are alright. I won't say anything about killing because I've also killed a lot of people. I just hope you can live more freely now after cutting the bind around your heart." Ben said.
Edolas Ben smiled.
"Yeah, I will live more freely now." He said.
They arrive at the castle shortly after that and infiltrate it. There are still some guards there but they can handle the guards easily. Ben can finally see Edolas Ben's fighting skill and was impressed with it.
Edolas Ben is an expert with spear fighting and martial arts. He also had a lot of physical strength, but not nearly much as Ben. It was still a lot, even more than most mages on Earthland and that's impressive. His spear is a magic item but he hasn't used it's magic at all.
"Strange, there's no sign of any royal captain. Usually they would come immediately if they heard about my arrival." Edolas Ben said.
"I think they are going after my friends. We can use magic, so they are warier of us." Ben guessed.
"Makes sense. But the king must've stayed behind." Edolas Ben replied.
After a few minutes, the 2 finally arrived in front of the throne room. Before they can open the door, someone opens it from the inside. They became alert but then see a girl running out of the room scared while holding a big key.
They were confused but then a beam is fired at the girl from behind. Without thinking, Ben flashed behind the girl to block the beam with his body. It hits his feet because it's very low and then it explodes.
His sudden interference surprises Edolas Ben, the girl and the 2 old men inside the throne room. They thought Ben had been injured and Edolas Ben was worried. But when the smoke cleared, they were surprised to see Ben was fine.
"A magic beam with a heat property, it's very rare to be attacked by that. Fire is more popular than heat. But this magic is very weak. Well, what can I expect from a place with low Ethernano density." Ben calmly said.
"O-Oi, are you okay?" Edolas Ben asked.
"Yeah, I have a high immunity towards heat. Anyway, one of these old men was attacking a girl, very despicable aren't they? Are you alright, miss?" Ben asked the girl.
"Y-yes." The girl replied while looking at Ben and Edolas Ben back and forth.
"Ah, we're twins, don't mind it." Ben didn't feel like explaining.
"Demon Lord, so you finally came here. I hope you're prepared to die." The tall old man said.
"He is the king of Edolas, Faust. Beside him is his Chief of Staff, Byro. And this girl is actually Byro's assistant, Coco. But I don't know why they attacked her." Edolas Ben told his Earthland counterpart who they are.
"D-Demon Lord?! P-please help me. They want to kill Lily." Coco said.
"What?! Panther Lily? Tsk, even if I know you're despicable, I never expected you would even kill your comrade, Faust." Edolas Ben said angrily.
"Humph, what I do to my subordinate is none of your business. Besides, he should be honored that he'll die for the kingdom." Faust scoffed.
"You bastard." This made Edolas Ben even angrier.
"Enough talking, it won't solve anything. Get the girl out of here. I'll handle the king." Ben demanded.
Edolas Ben looked at him for a moment before nodding and leaving with Coco. Faust ordered Byro to chase after Coco and take the key back. Byro did as he was ordered but Ben slashed at him and he stopped in his tracks.
"You're not going anywhere, old man." Ben said with a smirk.
"Tsk, just who are you? Are you even the 'Demon Lord' Ben Silverstone?" Faust asked.
"Most likely, he is someone from Earthland. Also, it seems he is one of them, your majesty, a Dragon Slayer. He mentioned that he has high immunity to heat. That is one of the Dragon Slayer's traits, immunity towards their element. So he must be a Dragon Slayer." Byro deduced.
"Then this is perfect. We didn't obtain Dragon Slayer Magic from the 2 we captured before because they were rescued. But now there is one in front of us, so we can get it from him." Faust said.
"Ah, you're correct, your majesty. I will start making preparations." Byro said before he left.
"Getting my magic power? Do you plan to absorb it or something? You guys sure like to take people's magic power, don't you? That's not a good hobby." Ben said calmly. He allowed Byro to leave because he was curious how they intended to take his magic power.
"Ha ha ha, be calm while you still can, kid! After this, you won't be able to do anything, so enjoy this moment while you can." Faust said before firing a beam from his scepter.
Ben received it again and took no damage, just like before.
"I told you that I have immunity, your attack won't work against me. You must be hard of hearing." Ben said as he sucked up the heat to regain his energy.
Faust clicks his tongue but continued using the same attack on Ben.
'It seems his magic item only has one attack.' Ben thought.
Ben is starting to get impatient when Byro finally returned with some soldiers. They brought a strange machine with them. Faust and Byro laugh as if they had obtained victory.
"Ha ha ha, this is the end, Dragon Slayer." Faust laughed like a madman.
