Mystogan gave Ben all the information he stole from the castle. In return, Ben gave him knowledge about modern technology. What Mystogan asked for was the method to produce energy, so Ben shared everything he knew about it.
"I'm not exactly a expert in the field, so I really don't know how to produce energy for mass use. What I have is just basic concepts and knowledge to produce electricity. So you need to learn it on your own and develop it further." Ben admitted he couldn't help much.
"Don't worry. We'll come up with a way to use this knowledge to our advantage. Even though it's not full, it's better than nothing. We have something to start with. I studied the steam engine that powers a machine, so there's another option. I never learned methods of producing electricity, though so I need to study it thoroughly." Mystogan said.
After the two exchanged information, Ben and Mystogan left the amusement park. Mystogan informed him that the others were engaged in battle with the Royal Army and their captains. Edolas Fairy Tail had joined the battle to help them out.
Ben asked for the location of Edolas Fairy Tail and immediately went there. Mystogan intended to release all the Ethernano in Edolas so it would return to Earthland so he needed to help Lisanna before that happened.
He arrived to the area where Edolas Fairy Tail fought the Royal Army quickly. Mira arrived there first and took on Sugarboy in her Satan Soul form. Edolas Fairy Tail clashed with the Royal Army.
Ben wanted to help Mira, but she turned it down.
"Don't worry about me, just help Lisanna." She insisted.
"That can wait after your battle. No need for you to hold back, I will protect them." Ben countered as he stood between Mira's fight and Edolas Fairy Tail.
"You really know what to say." Mira smiled at his words.
Sugarboy wasn't a strong opponent for Mira, but he kept trying to attack the Edolas Fairy Tail members after realizing he didn't stand a chance against Mira. So Mira was forced to divide her attention between protecting them and fighting Sugarboy.
Now with Ben here, she could focus on fighting him. Sugarboy was a strong swordsman, but this wasn't a issue. His magic item, which can liquefy objects was useless against Mira because her magic didn't have a physical form.
The problem was that he could levitate and glide on the ground at high speed. He used this to his advantage to attack the Edolas Fairy Tail members and give Mira a hard time. But now, Ben was there and Sugarboy knew he didn't have a chance against him after he was easily knocked out before.
His only choice was to fight Mira and defeat her but that was also difficult. He had seen how powerful Mira was and was certain he couldn't defeat her. So he was left with his last resort, run away.
"Do you seriously think you can run away?" Mira asked as she gave chase.
Their speed was almost the same, but Mira can prepare a long-range attack while chasing after him. A dark energy ball formed on her hands and she pointed it at Sugarboy.
"Demon Blast!" She yelled.
Sugarboy sensed an attack and tried to evade it. He successfully evaded a direct hit, but the attack managed to push him away. He flew into a wall and broke it.
After he crashed into the wall, Mira descended and immediately caught him. She took him out of the building and up into the sky before throwing him to the ground. He was injured after crashing into the ground, but Mira wasn't done yet.
She dived down from the sky and punched Sugarboy in the chest. Her punch broke his thick, pink armor and also hit his chest. He coughed up some blood and was knocked out, so Mira was the victor.
While Mira pursued Sugarboy, Ben helped Edolas Fairy Tail. He attacked the Royal Arms with his bare hands and knocked them out. He promised Mystogan that he wouldn't kill members of Edolas' army.
As the war dragged on, Edolas Ben suddenly appeared with Coco on his back. She still had the big key she stole from Faust before in her hands. Everyone looked at them and Edolas Mira immediately rushed over and hugged Edolas Ben.
"Where have you been?" Ben asked as he continued attacking the soldiers.
"I, uh." Edolas Ben muttered nervously.
"He kept getting lost even though I told him where to go. We were heading to random places and wasting time." Coco told them.
Everyone gained dark expressions before the Fairy Tail mages and Ben laugh.
"Ha ha ha, at least you found us. Anyway, can you take care of them? I will help that girl and handle some important business." Ben said.
Edolas Ben looked at Lisanna who was also fighting and nodded. He put Coco down and switched places with Ben to fight the soldiers. Ben carried Coco before he told Lisanna, Edolas Mira and Earthland Mira to follow him.
At this point, Mira had just returned with the defeated Sugarboy. Ben immediately called out to her and told her they would begin the plan. She nodded and threw Sugarboy away before following Ben.
The group wandered rather far away from the battlefield and headed inside a building. Ben asked Lisanna to lay down and get ready while the others stood guard. Coco was the only one who didn't know what was going on, so she remained silent.
"Are you ready?" Ben asked.
"Yeah, please be gentle." Lisanna playfully said.
There was a dark expression on his face and he lightly flicked her forehead. "Don't say that like I would do something bad to you. Now sleep!"
Ben cast a sleep spell on Lisanna and she immediately fell asleep. He can do it while she's conscious, but he didn't want to take that risk. He immediately used the new spell, Soul Extractor on her.
When he used the spell, he felt 2 souls in Lisanna's body. He didn't know who was who between the 2 souls, so he pulled both of them out. Among the 2, one soul was a lot easier to extract.
Then after he pulled them out, he communicated with the souls and finally knew which one belonged to Earthland Lisanna. The souls weren't affected by the sleep spell, so he was able to talk to them. He figured out that Earthland Lisanna was the one that was pulled out easier.
'Her attachment must be low because this isn't her body.' Ben thought as he returned Edolas Lisanna's soul to her body.
Ben then held out a woodblock and inserted Earthland Lisanna's soul into it. This wood was from the giant tree he found on his year long journey when he met Morgbitt for the first time. It is very strong and contains Ethernano, so the soul will remain in good condition until they return to Earthland.
He handed the woodblock to Earthland Mira.
"Keep her safe until we return." He said.
Mira nodded and hugged the woodblock happily with tears rolling down her face. Ben walked over to Edolas Lisanna and woke her up. Then he asked her about her condition and she replied that she felt weak.
"It must be a result of your soul being removed from your body. Also, now there's only one soul in your body while there were 2 before. Your body needs to adapt to the change, so it will only be temporary. Don't worry, you will feel better soon." Ben said as he patted Lisanna on the head.
Without warning, Lisanna hugged him.
"Thank you, Ben-nii." She said.
The others, except Coco, also hug him and express their gratitude. Coco was still confused.
"Um, what just happened?" She asked.
