"You guys stay here until the others arrive. Try to stay together as long as you can and if you need to separate, try to move in groups." Ben instructed the others at camp.
They nodded and Ben approached Wendy, "Wendy, Bella, Carla, don't move on your own and stay with the others. Call me through the marble if you need my help."
"Yes." The 3 reply.
"Mira, I'll leave them to you. Don't hesitate to use your power or call me." Ben said while patting his sister's heads.
"Alright, be careful." She told him.
Ben smiled and kissed Mira on the forehead, causing her to blush. Then he disappeared in an instant as he teleported to where Makarov was. The enemy must be really strong if Makarov felt the need to turn into a giant.
He arrived on the coast near Makarov right on time when the old man used Fairy Law. Ben thought that it was over but suddenly the enemy on the airship used a similar spell. His eyes widened because Fairy Law is a exclusive and secret spell.
Ben frowned.
'The opponent's magic is similar to Fairy Law. How can they use it? Did they steal it from Fairy Tail?' He thought.
Makarov canceled Fairy Law because the clash between the 2 spells will affect everyone on the island. Ben wasn't the only one surprised by the enemy that can use the Law spell, Makarov was as well. You could tell it was the case from his trembling body.
Just when Ben wanted to call out to Makarov, the enemy who was standing on top of the airship fired a pair of long chains made of magic. The chains pierce Makarov's body and the enemy controlled the chains to throw Makarov onto the island with a lot of force.
*BAM BAM BAM*
"MASTER!" Ben shouted in surprise as he teleported over to Makarov.
Makarov returned to his original size and laid on the ground outside the forest. Ben found him and checked out his condition. He is fine and Ben was relieved because Makarov had been thrown really hard.
"Master, who are we facing?" Ben asked.
"Grimoire Heart." Makarov replied.
His eyes widened because he knew about Grimoire Heart. It was one of the main dark guilds of the Balam Alliance, alongside the Oracion Seis. But from what Ben has learned, Grimoire Heart is stronger than the Oracion Seis.
"Where you just fighting their master, Hades? How can he use something similar to Fairy Law?" Ben asked.
Makarov looked down, not answering his question. Ben wanted to ask again, but he felt someone approach them. So he stood in front of Makarov and unsheathed Pendragon.
From the woods, an old man with a long white beard, black robe and horned helmet appeared. Ben had never seen him before he knew full well who this old man was. He is Hades, Grimoire Heart's guild master.
"One of Fairy Tail's mages, huh? I think I've seen you somewhere before. Oh, you're the one who defeated Brain. Ultear has shown me your picture. So you've joined Fairy Tail, huh? That's too bad, I also want a Dragon Slayer in my guild, especially a strong one like you. I think you could be the strongest of the Seven Kin of Purgatory." Hades said.
"You're quite talkative, old man. You even answer your own questions. You must be very lonely if you talk to yourself. That's why you should just live peacefully with your family instead of being a dark mage." Ben mocked Hades.
"Humph, what an irritating brat. He really is a Fairy Tail mage, huh Makarov." Hades said.
"You, why are you here? I thought you retired, but you established a dark guild instead." Makarov demanded.
"Master, who is he?" Ben asked.
"The 2nd master of Fairy Tail, Precht Gaebolg." Makarov answered while gritting his teeth.
Hades smirked and Ben had a surprised expression. He would have never thought Fairy Tail's 2nd master was now the master of a dark guild. Not to mention one of the strongest dark guilds, Grimoire Heart.
"No wonder he's able to use a spell similar to Fairy Law. It must be the reason you were distracted before and didn't resist." Ben noted.
Ben can guess Makarov was close with Precht in the past. He is the 3rd master while Precht is the 2nd, so he obtained the title from Precht. It must be the reason Makarov was shocked.
'With his state of mind, Master shouldn't be fighting. He will hesitate to attack Hades with his full power. I'll need to take Hades on instead. But Master will only disturb if he stays here. There's no other choice then. Sorry, master.' Ben said as he put a hand on Makarov's shoulder.
"Master, please protect the others. Leave it to me." Ben said.
Makarov can't say anything as he suddenly disappeared because Ben teleported him back to camp. He would only be a easy target for Hades because his emotions aren't stable. Ben can fight Hades freely without Makarov present.
"You sent him away?" Hades asked with a smirk.
"Yeah, there's no reason for master to face someone like you. I don't care if you were our 2nd master or even if you are Master's father. Those who threaten my family's lives are my enemies. I never show mercy to my enemies." Ben said as he pointed Pendragon at Hades.
"Heh, big talk. Let's see if you can back it up." Hades smirked.
Meanwhile, back at camp...
Makarov tried to return to where Ben and Hades were. But 2 of Ben's clones that were standing guard there stop him because Ben instructed them to do so through telepathy.
"Master, leave it to my main body. You being there will not help him." The Pride clone said.
"What do you mean by that, you brat?" Makarov angrily asked.
"I know you have had a good relationship in the past. He might be your teacher or something but at the very least you are close. That's why you will hesitate to fight him and it will just endanger all of us. Just stay here and protect your children while my main body fights Hades." The Sloth clone informed him.
"That's right, master. More enemies will come, so please stay here. In the meantime, I will infiltrate their airship and gather information. I also want to take over the airship to use it against them." The Pride clone said.
Makarov thought about it and finally nodded, he agreed with Ben's plan. Since the Pride clone will infiltrate the airship, he asked Wendy to use Troia on him. After Wendy cast the spell, Pride teleported towards the forest near the coast where the airship was located.
"Ben's clone, what about the others?" Makarov asked while looking at the other at camp.
Before the Sloth clone could answer, the remaining 4 S-Class participants, Erza and Ryu came here with Ben's other clones. Even Gildarts, Freed and Bickslow, who left the island earlier, came back after one of Ben's clones teleported them here after meeting them on the coast near the location of the 1st test.
"Everyone, listen." The Envy clone got everyone's attention.
Everyone looked at the Envy clone who proceeded to explain the situation. He told them about Zeref, Grimoire Heart and also the Magic Council. Then they prepare a strategy to handle this.
The Envy clone gained a serious expression.
"Right now, we just need to focus on Grimoire Heart. They came here to get their hands on Zeref. As for Zeref and the Magic Council, we don't need to worry about them for the time being. Zeref has no desire to fight us while the Magic Council will only show up after everything is settled like they normally do. So let's destroy Grimoire Heart who would dare to trespass on our guild's sacred ground." The clone said.
