The explosion engulfed a wide area and the flame made it raised high into the sky. Hades and Azuma were sure the explosion would kill Ben. Even Hades isn't sure he can withstand it, not to mention Ben, so they turn and leave. But then, they heard his voice.
"Nice explosion, probably the biggest one I've ever seen. Well, aside from the ones I make." Ben said from the site of the explosion.
Hades and Azuma's eyes widen as they look back. They see the flame moving to the center of the site of the explosion. He was sucking up the flame produced by it. He wouldn't turn down a free meal.
"What the? How can you be fine?!" Hades exclaimed in shock as he saw Ben wasn't injured by the explosion even though his clothes had been destroyed.
"How? Flame-based explosions don't work on me. Even if it used the plant as a medium, it's still a flaming explosion. Did you know that the sun is constantly exploding? If I, someone who holds the power of the sun can't handle it, who will?" Ben asked with a grin.
Hades and Azuma got ready to fight again. They need to be very serious now because Ben's magic is too ridiculous.
"You know, I've said that I can't defeat Gildarts even if I use my full power. Well, it's not exactly true. What makes him scary is that his magic can destroy other magic. But if I can utilize my power well, then I'm sure I can defeat him. Especially when my magic is overflowing like this after I ate a lot of magic power." Ben said as his fangs grew a little longer.
The 2 dark mages were shocked when Ben's body began to be covered in a black substance. It is his Devil Slayer mark that spread all over his body because he has too much magic power at the moment.
His forearms grow a little larger and his fingers turn into black claws. His legs also turn black with some spikes appearing on the side which also appear on his forearms. The sides of his body and face were also covered in a black color.
The black substance also covered the upper half of his face like Batman's mask and his eyes glow red. Ben's ears also become black and grow a little longer. Then lastly, his blonde hair turned fiery red with a red flame appearing on it's tip.
"Ha, I never thought I would need to use this form to handle the overflowing magic power. But it's good to let loose every now and then. Devil Force: Sun Devil Mode!" Ben exclaimed with a grin.
Hades and Azuma can see the silhouette of a sinister demon with red eyes on Ben's back. Ben's magic power that increased exponentially could be felt by all the mages on Tenrou Island.
"His magic power skyrocketed. It's almost twice than what he had before." Azuma said with a serious tone.
"It seems I can't hold back anymore. He is too dangerous." Hades said.
"Eh!? Will you use that?" Azuma asked, surprised.
"There's no other choice." Hades replied as he took the eye patch off his left eye.
Hades slowly opened his right eye and a red glow can be seen from it. Then when he opened it fully, massive surges of magical power come out of his body. Ben can sense it clearly and he grinned because Hades was using his full power.
"Demon's Eye." Azuma said, trembling slightly.
Ben and Hades' magic power clashed and unleashed a storm that swayed the trees. Hades ordered Azuma to leave even though he wanted to fight too. But this was a order issued by his guild master, so he can't refuse it.
Azuma wanted to leave by merging with the tree but Ben suddenly appeared in front of him. Ben's sinister smile horrified Azuma who tried to get away immediately. But Ben won't let him go and swiped his left hand from below to Azuma's stomach.
*BAM*
Ben's claws hit Azuma's stomach and make him fold like a bow. Azuma was flung back really fast and crashed into some trees until he crashed into a cliff. The impact caused the cliff to collapse and a big portion of it was destroyed.
Hades' eyes widen in surprise because he couldn't see Ben's movements at all. He looked at Ben who was grinning at him and seemed to not care about Azuma. Ben didn't care if Azuma was defeated or not, it was payback for his last attack.
"Demon's Eye, huh? Such a interesting magic. Do you want to be half-demon or something? Well, if you want to be a demon, then you are a good opponent for me, a Devil Slayer." Ben said.
"Humph, don't get too full of yourself just because you gained a massive power boost." Hades told him.
Hades then used his magical eye and his body was surrounded by a dark aura. It spread all over the area and suddenly the broken trees and ground glow dark. Slowly, the objects transform into different creatures with dark colors.
"Hmm? Demons? No, more like Etherious. This must be Living Magic, a form of Black Arts." Ben noted as he looked at the Etherious.
"So you know about this magic and the Black Arts. But that won't help you at all, HA HA HA!" Hades laughed as tendrils grow on the Etherious' bodies.
"I have no idea why you're so happy. A Etherious is a type of demon and I am a Devil Slayer. I am their worst enemy." Ben pointed out.
"Hah, that would only happen if you were stronger than my demons." Hades confidently stated.
"That's true. Let's find out who's stronger here." Ben replied with a smirk.
Hades commanded his demons to attack Ben who just stood still. As the demons approach him, Ben raised his right arm to the side. Then he covered his right arm in red solar energy which is the trait of a Sun Dragon Slayer.
When the demons got closer to him, Ben chanted. "Great Demon's Claw: Red Solar Blades!"
Ben swung his claws horizontally and also spun his claws to the left. 5 sharp red solar energy blades came out of his 5 claws as he swung his right hand and spun. The slashes turn into a circle as they expand and spread out everywhere.
The 5 slashes hit the demons and the weaker ones were immediately cut. The smart ones jump to avoid the slashes while the tougher ones block the slashes although they were injured in the process.
Hades used some demons to defend him from the slash. It gave him time to jump and avoid the slashes that cut through most of his demons. The defeated demons reverted back to their original forms, wood and stones.
The defeat of so many demons he created made Hades angry. He never thought Ben would be able to kill most of his demons with a single attack. It was a bad idea for demons to face a Devil Slayer.
There were still a few remaining demons, but Ben could defeat them easily. He proved it by using Bullet Magic that was powered by the solar energy from his Sun Devil Slayer Magic. Ben used both hands and he shaped his fingers like pistols.
"Sun Demon Solar Bullets: Double Pistols!" Ben yelled as red solar energy appeared on the tips of his finger pistols.
Ben aimed at the demons and shot them one by one with precision. The solar energy bullets hit the demons and explode upon contact. The explosions were large and strong, enough to destroy the demons.
It only took 6 minutes to kill the last of the demons. He could've done it faster if Hades didn't interrupt him with his Chain Magic and the demon's attacks. Now it was back to Ben and Hades, like it was before.
Ben looked at Hades and grinned at him. "Your magic power hasn't been reduced. It seems you have a secret, something supplying you with magic power."
'Such sharp senses.' Hades thought with a smirk.
