Ben's Pride clone uncovered the secret behind Hades' power. A magical item created from his own heart was stored on the airship. It supplied him with a massive amount of power, be it magical or physical.

This magic item is called the Devil's Heart, a machine that gathered and provided power for Hades. That's why his magic power was never reduced even after he used a lot of magic power. His body also became very strong so he could defend himself from Ben's attacks without taking a lot of damage.

But now his secret has been exposed and if the Devil's Heart is destroyed, Hades will lose most of his power. That's why he is now panicking because if Ben knew this secret, it meant he found the Devil's Heart through a method he doesn't know about.

Now after finding the Devil's Heart, it will be a lot easier to defeat Hades. He just needs to destroy it and Hades will lose most of his power. But it won't be that easy because there are likely defense mechanisms around the Devil's Heart.

Ben's Pride clone didn't know a lot about the defense system that Hades put up around the Devil's Heart, but it shouldn't be weak. As a clone, he doesn't have as much power compared to the main body, so he can't be reckless or he will fail to destroy the Devil's Heart.

"Fortunately that Bluenote guy is no longer on the ship and headed to the island. I am no match for him because I'm just a clone with little power. I can move around the ship undetected thanks to my stealth. But now I need the power to destroy the Devil's Heart." The Pride clone said.

The clone thought about what he needed to do to destroy the Devil's Heart before he ran out of power. Then after some thinking, he decided that the only way was to use all his power at once.

He will use one big attack rather than attacking it multiple times. Such an attack will do more damage and have a higher success rate. It might also destroy the airship and break the Devil's Heart indirectly if he fails to destroy it directly.

"Alright, let's do it even if it kills me." The Pride clone said.

The clone closed his eyes and gathered his magic power. Golden flame started to cover his body and the temperature around him increased significantly. He entered Sun Mode using his Sun Dragon Slayer Magic.

After accumulating all his magic power, the Pride clone made 6 big magic circles that surround him like a cube. His golden flame spreads and smolders inside the cube as it lights up the entire room and made it very bright.

Then he clapped his hands and chanted. "Clone Suicide Technique! Star Explosion: True Supernova!"

*BOOM*

The clone's body exploded and so did the golden flame. It produced a massive explosion that engulfed the entire room. The explosion has a lot of force and heat so it broke everything it touched and melted most of it.

It broke everything, including the Devil's Heart defense system as it couldn't handle the massive explosion produced by the clone's spell. With the defense system broken, the Devil's Heart also broke and stopped supplying power to Hades.

The airship was also destroyed, but the clone's power wasn't enough to destroy it completely. It can only destroy the area surrounding the Devil's Heart. Only a fifth of the airship was destroyed because of it's massive size, but that wasn't a problem as the Devil's Heart had been destroyed in the process.

Ben and Hades were close to the coast where the airship was flying. They can hear the explosion but can't see it because the tall trees obscure their view. Ben received the memory of the clone and now knew what happened and grinned because he can now beat Hades.

Hades was shocked as he no longer received power from the Devil's Heart. But strangely, he didn't die even though the heart he installed in the Devil's Heart had been destroyed.

'It seems he has changed the heart in his body with an artificial heart or maybe he used magic. Nonetheless, now he no longer has a infinite supply of power. I can even feel his magic power dropping significantly. This is the end.' Ben thought with a smirk.

The explosion was loud enough to be heard all across Tenrou Island. It alerted everyone and made them wonder what had just happened. The only ones who knew were Ben, his clones and Hades.

Ben's clones don't tell him what happened so they don't lose concentration. It might lower the enemy's morale, but it might also cause his comrades to become overconfident and act recklessly. Being wary of enemies is important in a battle.

Besides, he's worried that this won't affect the enemy's morale whatsoever because dark mages don't usually care about their comrades' well being even if it's their guild master. Also, he hasn't won, so there was no need to spread the news now.

Hades dropped down to one knee after his power suddenly plummeted. He held the left side of his chest because that's where he received the power from the Devil's Heart. Like Ben thought, a magic item replaced his real heart in Hades' body that replaced his heart's function and became the power receiver.

The sudden stop of the power supply shocked his body so he dropped down to one knee. He suddenly got a lot weaker, so his mind and body haven't synchronized. But it didn't take long for him to adapt and stand again.

"Damn brat! How did you find out about the Devil's Heart?" Hades asked, shooting a hateful glare at Ben.

"This is how." Ben snapped his fingers and then a dark magic circle appeared on the ground. Then a clone appeared on top of the magic circle and it was the Pride clone. The clone didn't actually die because it was just a clone created from magic so it was never alive in the first place.

Hades' eyes widened and now he got the gist of what had happened onboard his airship. He gritted his teeth because he knew if one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory or Bluenote stayed on the airship, Ben's clone wouldn't have been successful. The clone wasn't as powerful as they were.

"I know what you're thinking, but it's too late to regret it, old man. Your biggest mistake was not leaving anyone on the ship, it's because you underestimate us. As our guild's 2nd master, I'm sure you know the reason we came here, it's for the S-Class Exam. That means most of us have the power of S-Class mages, but you still decided to attack us. You underestimate our S-Class mages too much." Ben told Hades.

Hades didn't say anything and just looked at Ben angrily. Then he suddenly raised his hands forward and big purple magic circles appear below and above Ben. 3 purple circles also appear on Ben's left and 3 appear on his right.

Hades then chanted. "Amatersu: Formula 100!"

*BOOM*

The spell created a massive explosion, even bigger than the one made by the Pride clone. It engulfed a rather wide area and Ben was in the center of it. When it subsided, many trees and the ground were destroyed.

Hades used all his remaining power with that attack in the hopes that it would kill Ben. But his hope will continue being that, hope as Ben remained standing. He was injured by the explosion, but he was still standing and grinning.

"Good try, now it's my turn. Sun Devil Solar Scream!" Ben chanted before he fired a beam of red solar energy from his mouth.

The beam was large and strong as it moved towards Hades. Hades screamed as the beam hit and engulfed him. The beam covered a wide area and moved in a long distance. It angled upright a little, so it can be seen across the island.

When the beam stopped, Hades lied on the ground far from his initial location, unconscious. Ben had used a lot of power, but it wasn't enough to kill Hades. He knew Makarov wouldn't kill Hades, so he wasn't going to either.

Ben then looked at Hades.

"I'll let Master decide what to do with you next. Consider yourself fortunate." He said.
