Battles continue all over Tenrou Island. One of them was Lucy and Cana vs Capricorn. One of Ben's clones chased after them because he was worried about them as they were chased by one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory.
Capricorn finally caught up with Lucy and Cana so they could only stop. They get ready to fight and Cana is confused as their opponent was a goat-like human. Then Loke suddenly appeared and the girls were relieved because he might be able to help them.
Ben's clone knew that Loke was following them and left Gray alone. But that didn't mean he was relieved because their opponent was one of the strongest of the Seven Kin of Purgatory.
'Let's watch this situation first because I'm not as strong as my original body. I will help them when they can't handle it anymore and take them to a safe place.' Ben's clone thought.
The clone decided to observe the situation first because the opponent is strong. He might be as strong as a S-Class mage from Fairy Tail or at least the S-Class candidates. Cana, Lucy and Loke should be able to hold the enemy off even if they weren't able to win.
Of course, that's what he hoped but it was easier said than done. A battle isn't decided by power alone, but strategy or even compatibility. For example, Ben had a harder time facing Gildarts while he had a easier time facing Hades who also had more magic power than him, just like Gildarts.
While Ben's clone thought about that, the battle ramped up. Lucy summoned Taurus to fight alongside Loke. Cana used her Card Magic to generate lighting to attack Capricorn who dodged the lightning.
Taurus and Loke rush towards Capricorn and fight him in close combat. They question Capricorn on why he stayed in the human world for years. None of the other Celestial Spirits knew about his whereabouts.
Capricorn didn't bother to answer and continued fighting them. Even if the three were Celestial Spirits, they still fought seriously. They might be comrades in the Spirit World, but they were enemies in the human world if their summoners are enemies.
So Loke and Taurus weren't asking why Capricorn attacked them, but why he had disappeared for such a long time. They didn't receive a answer as Capricorn didn't answer their questions. He just kept fighting them using his close combat skills.
But fighting two opponents at the same time was tough so Capricorn jumped back and created some distance between them. Then a purple light appeared on the tip of his index finger. He waved it in their direction and then someone appeared.
"Hero of Rubengard: San Jiao Shin!" Capricorn shouted as he waved his hand and a line of runes appeared from the purple light.
A bright light shot out of the runes and it lands in front of Capricorn. The bright light then turned into a figure. It was a middle-aged man with a long, brown beard wearing a traditional green Chinese outfit and wielding a Guan Dao, it's a Chinese weapon that looked like a curved one-bladed spear.
San Jiao Shin immediately rushed forward and swung his Guan Dao at Loke. His attack hit Loke and sent him flying back. A human would have been cut in half, but as a spirit, Loke or Leo had a tough body.
Taurus rushed at San Jiao Shin and attacked him with his axe. San Jiao Shin swung his Guan Dao to counter Taurus' axe. They clash and both of them were pushed back.
Lucy and Cana wanted to help but they suddenly felt weak. Ben's clone rushed forward and grabbed them then took them into the forest. This was a urgent matter as he knew exactly why they felt weak and what would happen if he left them be.
"Ben, what are you doing?" Cana asked.
"Saving you, that's what." Ben's clone replied.
"W-what do you mean? We were just weakened a bit." Lucy said.
"And you would kept getting weaker if you continued to stay there. Ever heard of Human Subordination Magic? One of it's uses is to weaken the user's human opponents. Then when they become too weak, they will be captured and enslaved. That's why I needed to get you out of there fast." Ben's clone explained while he continued running.
"But what about Loke and Taurus?" Lucy asked.
"They'll be fine because that magic doesn't work on non-humans. You just need to keep supplying magic to Taurus. Loke came here by himself, so he doesn't need your magic power. What's the max distance for you to keep supplying magic power to your spirit?" Ben's clone asked.
"Uh, I don't know, but I feel I can still do it from here." Lucy responded.
Ben's clone stopped running and put the girls down. "Alright, you will stay here until the battle is over. Maintain a connection with Taurus so you'll know exactly what happens during the battle."
Lucy nodded and concentrated to supply her magic power to Taurus. While she did that, Ben's clone wrote some runes to encircle Lucy and Cana. Then he activated it and a transparent green dome barrier appeared.
"Stay here, the barrier will protect you. I will go back and help them." Ben's clone said.
"What?! But won't you be weakened?" Cana asked.
"No, because I'm not a human. I'm a magical construct." Ben's clone explained.
"So a clone isn't a human?" Cana asked out loud.
"No, I was created through magic. Anyway, this barrier will protect you. But if something urgent comes up, you can leave it. I made it so you can enter and exit it whenever you please, but no one else can." Ben's clone responded.
Without explaining anything else to them, Ben's clone returned to the battlefield. He felt something off with Capricorn and thought the goat was hiding something. So he decided to help Loke and Taurus to determine what the goat was hiding.
When he arrived, Taurus was fighting five human warriors that had been captured by Capricorn. Capricorn himself was fighting Loke in close combat. Loke and Taurus were overwhelmed by their strong opponents.
Ben's clone flashed out of the woods and kicked a human enemy that attacked Taurus. He kicked the man really hard and flung him towards Capricorn. The man crashed into Capricorn, pushing him back and freeing Loke.
"Ben! Why are you here? Where are Lucy and Cana?" Loke asked in surprise.
"Don't worry about them. They'll be fine. I'm here to help you finish this a lot faster." Ben's clone said as he attacked the four human warriors together with Taurus.
"What are you thinking?! You know you'll be weakened by his magic, right? That's the reason you took them into the forest." Loke exclaimed.
"I know, but it won't work on me, right goat?" Ben's clone asked with a smirk.
Capricorn had a sour expression on his face because his magic was useless on Ben's clone. Loke was surprised and he asked Ben how he pulled it off. Ben's clone told him the same thing he said to the girls.
Ben's clone and Taurus wipe out the human warriors after some time and join Loke's battle against Capricorn. They surround Capricorn and attack him together. But Capricorn proved to be a tough opponent for the three.
He held the three off and was about to summon his subordinates again. But Ben's clone reacted faster and caught his right arm, then held it behind his back. Taurus also caught his left hand, so he was unable to move.
After being signaled by Ben's clone, Loke punched Capricorn's body with Regulus. A bright light pierced Capricorn's body and then a black shadow came out of it. The shadow fell to the ground and turned into a human.
"Figures. This guy used Human Subordination Magic to take control of Capricorn. I thought it was strange that a spirit could use magic. Such a stupid move." Ben's clone commented.
