One of Ben's clones currently watched another battle. Juvia and Lisanna were facing a girl named Meredy. They fought in a clearing in the middle of the forest.
Meredy actually wanted to chase Gray, but he moved too quickly with Loke before so she could only chase Juvia and Lisanna. Also she looked down on Juvia and ranked her low among the Fairy Tail mages on the island.
Ben's clone knew she must have had her own reason despite knowing Juvia's power. That means she knew Juvia had a water body and was immune to most attacks. But she still says that, meaning she knows how to handle Juvia's water body.
It turned out to be the case because when she attacked Juvia with swords made out of her magic, they can hurt Juvia's water body. Ben's clone wanted to find out what her magic was and he soon got an answer.
She said that her magic is Maguilty Sense, a type of Lost Magic just like the other Seven Kin of Purgatory's magic. Ben didn't know about this magic because he had never seen it before. Maybe the Magic Library has information on it, but he hadn't come across it yet.
From what he witnessed and the name implied, this magic attacks one's senses directly. That's why Juvia's water body was useless as this magic can touch her real body by directly attacking her senses.
It also had the same effect on Lisanna who transformed into a half-white cat. Having a stronger body is useless if your opponent attacks your senses directly. Also, a stronger body has stronger senses, so it will hurt even more instead.
Ben's clone watched the battle unfold and noted that Meredy was quite a blabbermouth despite only saving a few words. She said how she looks down on Juvia, how they've investigated the Fairy Tail mages and how she hates Gray and plans to kill him.
That last remark was enough to light the spark in Juvia's heart. She suddenly got angry after hearing her beloved Gray-sama being threatened. Her expression turned into that of a mad, crazy person leaving Ben's clone, Lisanna and Meredy dumbfounded.
Juvia started to attack Meredy a lot more seriously and it surprised her. The one she looked down actually had this kind of power. Juvia is still an S-Class candidate, so she is strong enough to be a S-Class mage.
Lisanna finally got back to her senses and helped Juvia attack Meredy. Both of them were too strong for Meredy to handle and they pushed her back. It wouldn't take long for them to win and Ben's clone didn't need to do anything.
But then, Meredy suddenly used her magic to connect the three of them. Now they will share everything including death. If someone dies, then the others will die too. So Meredy took a knife and tried to stab herself in the heart and kill all of them.
However, before she could do that, Ben's clone appeared in front of her and grabbed her hand. He put her to sleep with Sleep Magic so they wouldn't be harmed. When Meredy fell asleep, Juvia and Lisanna also fell asleep.
The three girls fall asleep at the same time but fortunately none of them were gravely injured. Ben's clone then tied Meredy up to make sure she couldn't move after she woke up. He didn't know whether the magic was still in effect whether she was asleep or not, so he won't harm her.
Besides, Meredy seemed to be the same age as Wendy. He didn't have the heart to hurt her because it feels like hurting Wendy. She is not Wendy, but she is still a little girl in his eyes, so he can't hurt her.
"What caused her to become a dark mage at such a young age? She must've become one after she was young because of her mastery over this Lost Magic." Ben's clone said with a sad tone.
Their battle came to a fast conclusion and it wasn't the only one. It was the one involving Freed, Bickslow and Kain. None of them follow Freed and Bickslow because they believe Freed and Bickslow won't have any trouble.
It was true as their battle came to a end a lot faster than Juvia and Lisanna's battle with Meredy. Freed and Bickslow have been working together for a long time so they had solid teamwork and they are strong too.
As soon as their battle against Kain started, they charged at the fat guy and attack with all their strength. They know that there are a lot of enemies on the island including the ones they had previously seen.
All the enemies they have seen before are strong so they are worried about their guild mates. That's why they immediately go all out to end their battle fast and help the others. It's not that they don't believe in their guild mates, it's just they were worried.
Their enemies are dark mages who won't hesitate to kill. Not to mention they all know Lost Magic. Usually, Lost Magic is strong and extremely destructive.
So Freed and Bickslow decide to use their full power from the start. Freed made a enchantment that will prevent Kain from leaving and also prevent anyone else from entering. Then he used his magic to transform into a demonic being with Dark Ecriture.
Bickslow supported Freed as he charged forward and engaged Kain in close combat. Using his dolls, Bickslow disturbs Kain and prevents the latter from using magic. Kain is using a doll to activate his magic but Bickslow hit it with his dolls, making it fall out of Kain's hands.
Freed, who had now gotten close to Kain immediately attacked him. In his demonic form, Freed is much stronger and faster than before. He engaged Kain in close combat and quickly gained dominance as Kain was unable to use his magic.
Freed attacked Kain relentlessly and Bickslow helped him by attacking Kain from behind using his dolls. Kain is unable to fight back because both of them keep attacking him. They didn't give him the chance to use his magic at all.
After being beaten up, Kain finally reached his limit. He lost consciousness and fell to the ground with a lot of bruises and bumps on his body. His Lost Magic didn't have a chance to shine in this battle.
"What should we do now?" Bickslow asked Freed.
"Let's find the others and help them. We could defeat him easily because we moved fast and prevented him from doing anything. It might not be the case with the others and they might be in danger now." Freed advised.
"You're right. But we need to make sure this guy won't get away and target anyone after we leave." Bickslow agreed with him.
"Don't worry, we will make sure he stays here." Freed said.
Freed then asked Bickslow to tie Kain up using vines and his own clothes. Then Freed wrote enchantments on Kain's body after he was tied up. His enchantments will prevent Kain from moving his own body.
After that, Freed and Bickslow left to help the others. They come across a battle, but it was Mira vs Azuma. Their help wasn't necessary and they would only be a burden for her, so they left.
They try to find some other battles but they only find Grimoire Heart's lesser members. These lesser members are weak, but there were a lot of them. Freed and Bickslow didn't have a choice but to fight these guys and defeat them lest they attack the other Fairy Tail mages.
It was easy for them to defeat these guys, but it would take a while because of how many there were. Well, as long as they won, it really didn't matter.
