After several years, Ben heard Smog's voice again. Smog is the Heat Dragon that he met after the Grand Magic Prix. Well, Smog was already dead at that point and Ben only met his soul that remained in the cave where he died.

At that time, Smog's soul entered Ben's body to help him suppress his Dragon Seed. He can't suppress for too long but it helped Ben use his magic more freely. Smog told him that the only way to suppress it fully was by sealing a dragon as strong as Escanor the Sun Dragon inside his body.

The only one Smog knew that still existed to this day was Acnologia. Smog was the one who told Ben about Acnologia who killed Smog and numerous other dragons. He also promised to help Ben fight Acnologia when the time came.

Now is that time and Smog finally made his presence known. Ben almost forgot about him because a lot had happened. If Smog can help him in this dire situation, he would gladly accept it.

'Boy, you are still not ready to fight Acnologia.' Smog said in Ben's mind.

'What can I do? He came to me by himself.' Ben replied.

'Well, life is full of unexpected things. Anyway, I will give you what's left of my power. With your current level, you won't be able to defeat him even if I give all of my power to you. But at least you can escape and survive with my help.' Smog said.

'I can't escape and leave my friends here to die.' Ben said.

'Then do your best to survive. Everything will end when you die. Alright, get ready, boy! I will transfer my power to you now. Your magic power storage will increase temporarily, so eat whatever you can to fill your magic power.' Smog said.

'Understood.' Ben replied.

'Alright then Son of Escanor, I think this is goodbye. My soul will disappear after this, so we won't meet again. I hope you succeed and survive this.' Smog said.

'So it's time, huh? Thanks for everything, Smog. Enjoy your afterlife.' Ben asked.

'Yeah, don't follow me so soon or you'll ruin it.' Smog said.

'Heh, just don't get lonely because it will be a long time before I come there.' Ben replied with a smirk.

Smog also smirked and released his remaining power, giving it to Ben. Ben felt his power increase and his magic power storage expands. His body feels hot and he is very hungry so he opened his mouth to eat his elements.

He ate the available elements which were sunlight and gravity. Now he can eat normal gravity after he ate Bluenote's Gravity Magic. It will be very useful when there's no other element for him to eat.

Ben ate the sunlight and gravity very fast that it looked like it was sucking them up. His magic power increased at a high rate and it surpassed his normal capacity because now his reserves increased temporarily. His reserve now is around 2 times his original magic power reserve.

He gathered energy as fast as he can because Acnologia is also gathering energy. But he knew that Acnologia was faster so he stopped for a moment to do something. He can't match Acnologia's energy-eating speed freely, so he needs to cheat.

Ben suddenly teleported underneath Acnologia's jaw when the black dragon prepared a roar. He used strong Gravity Magic to make a pushing attack on Acnologia's lower jaw. His attack pushed Acnologia's lower jaw strongly and disrupts the roar.

Surprisingly, it didn't stop the attack but it did change it's direction. Ben's attack made Acnologia's face lift, so the roar shot up into the sky. It reaches a very long distance and made the clouds part and disappear.

Ben's eyes widen after seeing it's range and power. But he also sighed in relief because that attack failed. He can't be relieved for too long because Acnologia was becoming annoyed with him.

Of course, Ben already knew this so he teleported back to the island. Then he resumed consuming his elements and replenishing his magic power. He does it faster than before and his magic power spiked to a whole new level.

As his magic power surpassed what he can originally store, a change appeared in Ben's body. Golden scales start to appear on his limbs, sides of his body, back and the corners of his face. His hair transformed into a golden flame and his body got a little bigger.

Then a red dragon head tattoo appeared in the middle of his chest. It was a result of Smog's power being transferred into Ben. Ben's skin also turned slightly red and steam came out of his body because he received the Heat Dragon's power.

Ben then exhaled thin white steam.

"Ha, so this is Dragon Force. It feels a lot different from Devil Force." He said.

"Ben, what happened to you?" Mira asked, worried.

"Dragon Force." Ryu answered simply.

"Yeah. Wendy, can you give me all your buff spells?" Ben asked.

"Ben nii-san, do you want to fight him?" Wendy asked, worried as well.

"Yeah, it's the only way. Hurry up! We don't have much time." Ben said.

Wendy was worried but cast all her buff spells on Ben. Now Ben's strength, speed, attack and defense have been increased. He is in his best condition and he is at his strongest now. Not even Gildarts can match him at the moment, so he stood the best chance against Acnologia now.

Acnologia also saw Ben's transformation and was intrigued. So he just watched it and let Ben finish his transformation. He could feel another dragon's presence inside Ben before, although it's just for a moment.

A pair of wings made out of golden flame appear on Ben's back. Then he teleported in front of Acnologia and floated in midair. Ben reduced the gravity on his body then used the wings for balance and kept his body floating.

He floats right in front of Acnologia and looked like a small golden light bulb compared to the gigantic black dragon. But very strong energy radiates from that small golden light bulb. The already high temperature in the surrounding area also increased because Ben received Smog, the Heat Dragon's power.

"I would be pleased with my current power if I didn't meet you. Even this level of power is still too low compared to yours. I hope this will be enough." Ben said before he charged at Acnologia.

Ben moved vert fast, a lot faster than his fastest speed in Light Mode. He became a streak of light when he moved. Of course, he hasn't reached the speed of light, but he is incredibly fast right now.

He flew around Acnologia's body while attacking the dragon with Pendragon. Ben also shoots solar energy from his other hand repeatedly as he flew through the air. His power had increased significantly, so his attacks are stronger too.

However, even with his current power, Ben's attacks still don't do significant damage to Acnologia. The most he can do is scratch the very tough scales and push Acnologia's body a little. Acnologia is strong beyond reason.

"Dammit, what an unfair battle." Ben cursed as he slowly stood up. His struggle to survive the calamity hasn't ended.
