After being blasted to the ground, Ben attacked Acnologia again. He flew toward Acnologia's stomach like a laser. Ben kicked both of his legs at him as hard as he can but it only pushed Acnologia's stomach a little.
"Damn!" Ben cursed as he teleported to avoid Acnologia's slap.
He teleported behind Acnologia, between his wings. Then he cast a spell before Acnologia could react. A massive red magic circle appeared underneath Ben's feet, on top of Acnologia's back.
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: 3rd Hell: Heat World!" Ben chanted.
The massive magic circle turned into a massive red sphere of heat. It was very hot and caused the temperature in the surrounding area to rise. The sphere itself had a temperature of 6000 degrees Celsius.
Ben used it because he can manipulate heat a lot better after receiving Smog's power. As a Heat Dragon, Smog's power complimented Ben's power too. So now his strongest element is heat, which is why he uses it now.
He intended to incinerate Acnologia's body with this heat. The temperature is a little higher than that of the sun's surface. Normal living beings would immediately die from such intense heat, but Acnologia isn't a normal being.
This heat sphere is still a spell and strong resistance to magic can defend from it. Acnologia's resistance to magic and durability were insane. This level of power isn't enough to damage his body.
Even though this spell is very strong and hot, it is not strong enough to be used against Acnologia. The heat affected him, but the effect of a spell can be countered by magic. That's what Acnologia does, defending himself from Ben's spell with magic.
Acnologia covered his wings with magic power and flapped them strongly. A strong magic tornado was formed and destroyed the sphere of heat from within. Ben was forced to teleport away to avoid Acnologia's attack.
The black dragon destroyed Ben's Heat World with little effort even though it was one of his strongest spells. He didn't have a chance of victory from the beginning, but now even his survival and escape chances seemed to disappear slowly.
Ben can't give up though because his sisters, girlfriend and friends will die if he fails. He needed to repel Acnologia and make the black dragon leave no matter what. The problem was Ben had no idea his action made Acnologia more interested in him.
While Ben thought of a way to attack Acnologia again, several spells suddenly hit Acnologia's body. They don't affect him, but they surprise Ben because they came from his guild mates down below.
The Fairy Tail mages can't watch Ben fight by himself. So they try to help him fight even if it was a little bit. This wasn't just Ben's fight, it was also their fight. They need to fight for themselves if they want to survive.
Mira suddenly appeared behind Ben in Satan Soul: Sitri form. She flew beside Ben and told him she would also fight. She wasn't as powerful as Ben at the moment, but that's not a reason to avoid fighting.
"We need to fight for ourselves if we want to survive, right?" Mira asked.
"Just don't die. Make sure to pull out if you think you can't continue." Ben sighed.
Ben knew he wasn't able to stop them, so the best thing to do is let them fight but also make sure they didn't die. Mira nodded and they got ready to fight again. The mages below also get ready to fight and attack from their spot.
Some of them can fly like Ben and Mira, but they weren't confident that they could avoid Acnologia's attacks while flying. Mira can fly really fast, so she was confident that she could avoid Acnologia's attacks.
The Fairies then commence attacking Acnologia with Ben in front. Mira attacked from a distance as Ben attacked him closely. The others attack from the ground with long-range spells.
Their attacks create big impacts and effects on Acnologia's body. Fire, ice, wind, dark fire, swords, wind, iron, bullets and other kinds of spells. All of their attacks hit Acnologia because his body is big, so it was easy to target him.
The effects indicated their attacks worked well. However, they knew that wasn't the case at all. Acnologia is fine even though they bombarded him with powerful spells that would destroy a mountain instantly.
Suddenly, a strong spinning blue sphere appeared at Acnologia's location. It rapidly expanded and pushed all the spells back. Ben was also pushed back really fast and even Mira who flew quite far was pushed back because it rapidly expanded and became very big.
Ben and Mira crash down on the island in different locations. Ben took more damage because he was hit by the spinning magic sphere first while it still has full power. But he was extremely durable, so the damage he took wasn't fatal even though it was quite grave.
On the other hand, the damage received was fatal enough to cancel her transformation instantly. Making matters worse, she fell far away from the others so no one can treat her immediately. She needed to be treated immediately or her condition would get worse.
Ben who could fly again realized Mira wasn't in good shape because she didn't come over to their location. So he immediately went to the spot where she crashed to help her. He moved quickly despite his grave injuries and carried Mira to Wendy.
Wendy immediately used her Healing Magic while the others continue attacking Acnologia. They need to keep Acnologia busy while Wendy healed Mira. Ben also attacked him again but Mira's uncertain condition, he can't focus so his attacks were weakened.
The same thing happened to the other mages so their attacks were weakened too. Their weak attacks made Acnologia lose interest in them. He can also feel that Ben's Dragon Force is getting weaker, meaning he is at his limit too.
Ben also realized that his Dragon Force had also reached it's time limit. He expended a lot of energy and took a lot of damage even though Acnologia only hit him twice. So the power of his Dragon Force was getting weaker.
Acnologia was bored now, so he decided to end this. He flew towards Ben fast, a lot faster than before. It took him by surprise and made him realize too late that Acnologia was going to punch him.
Ben did his best to defend himself from the punch with all his power. He was hit and crashed into the ground really hard. The impact destroyed the ground, leaving a massive crater with Ben in the middle of it.
The bones in Ben's hands were broken after he used them to defend himself from the punch. Even after he poured all his remaining magic power into his hands, he still can't block the punch. Fortunately, he was able to reduce it's power significantly, so he can survive with broken hands.
"*cough*" Ben coughed up some blood.
"Fuck, I can't move." Ben said as he tried to stand up.
He was no longer in Dragon Force and he spent all of his energy, so he can't move now. Ben looked at Acnologia while gritting his teeth and continuing to try and stand. But he can't even lift a finger and can only watch Acnologia gather energy again.
He kept cursing while trying to move so he can attack Acnologia again. But then Ben's eyes widened when he saw the unconscious Mira float towards Acnologia. The black dragon was using his ability to suck up magic power to suck Mira up too.
Acnologia knew that she was precious to Ben, so he intended to kill her first before killing Ben. He used his magic to suppress the other's movements so they can't save Mira who was pulled up. None of them were able to resist Acnologia's magic, so they can only watch as Mira flew into the sky.
Acnologia successfully angered Ben who suddenly gained the power to stand. He looked at Mira and his eyes widen again when he realized that Bella held onto Mira's body. She had been holding onto Mira the whole time, so she was also pulled up.
Both girls are really close to Acnologia and he opened his right hand to attack. Acnologia then swiped his right hand at Mira and Bella with a lot of strength. Before he hit them though, Ben suddenly teleported and hugged the girls so he was the one who was hit directly by Acnologia.
Acnologia's attack sent the three far out to sea at very high speed. The Fairy Tail mages below can only watch in horror as the three were hit. They immediately lost their strength and they gained blank expressions.
Wendy's eyes shake as she cried, "N-no, NOOO!"
