They had to have the lights off tonight, along with the shades pulled. It was eerily silent outside, which was almost worse. But they were making the best of it.

"Was it love at first sight, then?" Sally asked.

Sybbie had to laugh.

"Hardly, I thought he was an idiot."

"Tell me he wasn't that bad!"

"Well, to his credit, he took my criticism well," Sybbie smiled, though she knew Sally couldn't see it.

"So, you two, now…"

Sybbie sighed.

Sally grabbed her hand. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, just, you know, we can't plan anything right now."

"Of course not."
