George walked into the drawing room, and saw Sybbie sitting reading a newspaper.
"I thought you were leaving for America today."
"I've already sent a telegraph, I won't be going back this fall."
"You're sure about this?" George asked.
"You really want me crossing the Atlantic now?" was Sybbie's reply.
"Well, that's a good point," her cousin conceded. "Do you think you'll go back next year?"
"Maybe I'll even head back in January if things settle down enough, but right now." Sybbie turned the page of the paper. "Besides, I was thinking about studying aeronautics, maybe I'll get some practice."
