Here were the results of the 3rd day of the Grand Magic Games.

Fairy Tail B: 58 points

Fairy Tail A: 47 points

Mermaid Heel: 34 points

Blue Pegasus: 25 points

Sabertooth: 22 points

Scarmiglione: 14 points

Lamia Scale: 13 points

Quatro Cerberus: 9 points

It's surprising that Lamia Scale, a strong contender for years only got 13 points and Sabertooth only got 22 points. The main reason for their low scores was Fairy Tail. Lamia Scale is always paired up against Fairy Tail mages in the battle rounds and haven't won at all.

Ben and the others feel bad for them, but this is a tournament, so things like this happen. They don't feel bad for Sabertooth though. They would feel even better if Sabertooth got last place at the end of the tournament.

There were still 2 more days until the tournament ended so they can't get too full of themselves yet, but a little party at night won't hurt anyone. The Fairy Tail mages hold a small party in their hotel that night.

Then in the middle of the night, Ben stealthily left the hotel. He went down a dark alley and passed through a hidden door after making sure no one saw him. Inside the room are 3 individuals Fairy Tail knew well.

"I've been waiting for your call." Ben said.

"Sorry, it was a lot harder than we thought." Jellal apologized.

The ones waiting in the room for Ben were Jellal, Ultear and Meredy. These 3 had established Crime Sorciere. It was a independent guild established with the goal of eradicating dark guilds to atone for their sins.

Jellal should be in prison now, but Ultear and Meredy rescued him. Then they formed this guild and started their mission to eradicate the dark guilds affiliated with Zeref. Their guild had eradicated a lot of dark guilds over the last few years, unlike the Magic Council who remained passive.

2 years ago, they made a secret deal with Fairy Tail. Makarov agreed to the deal because he knew capturing these 3 and turning them over to the Magic Council won't do them any good. It's better to watch over them while also allowing them to attack dark guilds.

Then during the Grand Magic Games, they received information about Zeref's involvement. It might be Zeref himself or his worshipers, either way it was dangerous. The three were investigating right now.

Ben is in charge of exchanging information with them. He will also help them if they hit a dead end. They haven't contacted him the last few days though and called him tonight.

"So, what did you find?" He asked.

"We found some indications that the royal family might be involved in this. We want to confirm it, but entering the palace is very difficult. Security there is really tight." Ultear said.

"Hmm, I don't know how the royals are involved, but they might know something. I'll help you find a way to investigate the capital. For the time being though, I want you to watch over Lucy and Wendy. I've been keeping an eye on my guild mates because Sabertooth might try something. Over the last few days, I've gotten the feeling that those two are being watched. I couldn't find out by who. I want to investigate it further, but I have other things to take care of so I would like you to do it in my place." Ben said.

"Alright, leave it to us. We'll leave the royal family to you." Ultear said.

"Good, with my Wizard Saint title, it will be easy for me to enter the palace." Ben replied.

Jellal nods before asking, "Erza doesn't know about us yet, right?"

"No, but you better tell her sooner or later. Also, there are some other people who need a explanation." Ben retorted.

"Millianna, huh? I don't think she will let me talk to her, but I will find a way to at least apologize to her. I really owe her and the others an apology." Jellal said.

"Well, it will be hard, but you will feel relieved after doing it. No need to rush it though, you need to time it right." Ben told him.

"No need to rush it, huh? You also said that when I offered to use my magic to open yours and your guild mates Second Origins." Ultear recalled.

"Opening Second Origin with your magic will help them grow faster. However, I believe opening it through their own efforts will lead to better results. You've seen how much they've grown on their own." Ben told her.

"Yeah, I'm surprised with how much they've grown. They might've even opened their Second Origin already. As for you, I'm sure you opened it a long time ago." Ultear said with a smile.

"Maybe." Ben replied with a smile.

Ben talked to them a bit longer and then left the room to return to the hotel. He teleported there because he marked his room's coordinates. Mira saw him return but didn't ask any questions and simply welcomed him back.

The kids are sleeping and after Mira fell asleep, Ben made 7 clones. He sent the clones to infiltrate the palace and gather information. He then proceeded to fall asleep after making sure his clones wouldn't disappear after he slept.

The next day, they head back to Domus Flau for the 4th day of the Grand Magic Games. None of Ben's clones returned so they must've had a hard time gathering information last night. He just let it be and focused on today's tournament.

He looked at Sabertooth's stand and saw the dire expressions on their faces. They must've gotten an earful from Jiemma last night because they didn't win the battle yesterday. Unlike Yukino, Orga hadn't been expelled from the guild. It was probably because he contributed a lot of points for their guild.

Anyway, the 1st event starts and it's called Naval Battle. From the name alone, it will probably involve water. It might be a game in a pool or something, so they need to send someone who's good in water.

"Hmm. I want to send Juvia, but she isn't even a reserve member. Who wants to volunteer?" Ben asked.

Mira and Cana immediately raise their hands and then Laxus also raises his hand. He says that it is a battle, so he wants to participate because he might not be chosen for today's battle round. Cana and Mira also want to participate because they had only participated once.

"How about you Freed?" Ben asked.

"No thanks, I don't want to wear a swimsuit in public." Freed said.

"Hmm. Well, let's draw some sticks." Ben said.

Ben took out a cup with sticks in it and he removed 3 sticks. He held the three sticks in his hand, hiding the tips that have different colors.

"The one who gets the red tip will participate." Ben said.

Laxus, Mira and Cana take the sticks immediately after Ben finished talking. Laxus got the red tip while Mira and Cana get the blue tip. Laxus smirked and laughed as he entered the arena, leaving the dejected girls behind.

"He shouldn't participate in this. He'll just end up electrocuting everyone." Mira sighed.

"Or he'll get short-circuited." Ben jokingly said.

Cana suddenly booed Laxus after hearing that, "BOO! Laxus, boo! You will be short-circuited in the water!"

Laxus just smirked and sent a small lightning bolt at her bottle of alcohol. It was destroyed and Cana screamed before angrily shouting at Laxus. Everyone sweat dropped at their petty fight right before the game.

They ignore it soon though because the other participants are entering the arena too. Fairy Tail A sends Lucy, Lamia Scale sends Sherria, Blue Pegasus sends Jenny, Mermaid Heel sends Risley, Quatro Cerberus sends Rocker and Sabertooth sent Minerva.

Laxus and Rocker were the only men in this game which isn't that surprising since they heard that it was a Naval Battle. For the women, this is another kind of battle, just like Mira's battle against Jenny.

The organizer finally announced the game's rules. They will compete in a big water sphere that was summoned to the arena. The ones who leave the sphere will lose and the last one remaining is the winner. Then soon, the game finally starts.
