Chapter 9 New Home

Balder and Rosa gathered what few belongings they owned and took their daughter Cereza to Shinto, where they were given a living quarters next to Asura and his wife's living quarters. Asura's wife was a female demigod named Durga. Durga was a beautiful woman with long dark purple hair and a slender figure. She wore her hair in a braided style in the back of her head with a golden headdress and long cream dress with a jewel-embroidered purple tunic. She also wore a tan sash on top of a green blouse underneath the tunic and cream-colored shoes.
Durga was the sister of General Yasha of the Eight Demigod Generals and she was very kind and welcoming to Balder, Rosa, and Cereza, making sure they were comfortable and had everything they needed.
After things had settled down Rosa handed Cereza to Balder to hold, while she prepared a crib for the baby. Balder looked down at his infant child and smiled down at her as she reached her little arms up to him. The sage lowered one of his fingers to the baby and she grasped it with her little hands and giggled. Rosa returned with a smile on her face as she took Cereza and began to rock her back and forth and sing.

Cereza's eyes closed and she fell asleep. Rosa kissed her child's head and genteelly put her in the crib. Balder and Rosa smiled down at their sleeping daughter, before they shared a quick kiss before they retired for the night in their new home.
